I was attacked like you all never seen before.. they flooded me we with Negative Trust ratings ruining my rep here claiming i lied on that topic when all i did was copy & paste the quotes from Dave others already posted here (who did not get negged) They never did explain anything but what Latapie was caught saying confirmed ANOTHER lie. The biggest being that they the Monero shill's usual-suspects had never advertised on Bitcointalk (when they have blatantly) Dave said he started a Monero Marketing Company which contradicts probably a 100 comments from them all previously. ..caught lying AGAIN ! So a word from the outside, guys: I honestly know nothing about who is a scammer and who is not, but the biggest post, although containing no sources, has not been responded to, which looks 1-0 for the Dash critics.
Personal attacks seem to be the norm here, but persons making them do not realize that they look like spoield children, especially if they mention no facts.

The donations were compensated in the end by Dash community members (they gave it to Fluffypony for further distribution). He has a history of trolling both the Dash and Monero community. You are of course perfectly free to believe his posts, but for those who know him better his posts are nothing more then just troll posts. You fail to state what Thedashguy did for dash. He created several websites, including the awesome dashndrink.com site, whatisdash.org, and many others for the community. Whatisdash.org was a far better site than dash.org and was completed in a month vs the dash.org redesign that took 1.5 years and still has broken links. Since he was totally blasted by core members for trying to help with dash.org and was totally disrespected when he offered a marketing proposal he stopped helping Dash. (FYI, that same core member that blasted thedashguy, yidakee, was quietly fired - so it was even admitted he was in the wrong) And I have been heavily involved in dash building the Dash N Drink soda machine to show off InstantSend along with other examples of merchant tools like DashNGo. It was all looked at as a "too early" examples of Dash technology. The core just wanted to wait for Evolution before touching anything that could be used with merchants. It is all too fishy. Why wouldn't Dash put resources behind merchant tools and technology? It looks like the entire project is a scam to partner with big companies to leach the budget and bring in more investors to raise the coin price. So you ask why previously devoted Dash enthusiasts are now against Dash? We learned about the real intentions of the developers....and it isn't to grow transactions or make the currency useful. No, what you learned is the dynamics of the market and the economics at play in Dash. You also learned that creating a budget proposal that is lacking details, is not pre-discussed at all and has budget terms difficult to accept in any budget proposal is a sure way to not get your budget proposal passed. You also learned the Dash community was getting tired of the endless hate posts on your slack channel against our Dash dev-team and you witnessed a widely-supported move against that by the creation of new Dash slack channels and the denouncement of your Dash slack channel. You were repeatedly asked to distance yourself from all the above but for some reason you could not. Perhaps your business goals got misaligned with the goals of the Dash community and your inflexibility to cope with that got you here, i dont know. But the way you are posting here and on dash.org/forum is just sad to watch, frankly you seem to be degrading yourself. Good luck with this thread, i'm done here. |

What would Blockcypher start offering for Dash accepting services? BlockCypher will integrate with the Dash Payment Network and provide the following web services: ● Asset API - issue & handle assets on the blockchain ● Data Endpoint - place data or a hash on a blockchain ● Multiple Address Wallet API - multiple addresses under single wallet name ● Multisignature API - multiple signature key management ● Payment Forwarding API - forward, consolidate, add commissions to payments ● Transaction API - build transactions easily ● WebHooks and WebSockets - monitoring & notifications on blockchain events Dash can start merchant adaptation early this way with all these API's, while still focussing on Dash Evolution which will bring us a decentralized API. So who do you guys think will be the new major exchange that will add Dash ? Our new exchange partner recognizes Dash’s potential and is committed to working with us in an active relationship to facilitate access to our network and build a reliable market for Dash user services to clear transactions. They are expanding their service offerings and will include Dash for other areas of their business as we expand our relationship.
We received a specific request from the exchange to not reveal the identity of the new exchange platform at this stage of the process as a proper launch needs to be planned and executed. It should be more clear in a few months but lets speculate anyways... I'd love for it to be Kraken, I'd be very happy with Bitstamp, but I'd put my money on Coinbase, because that's the one I couldn't use because it doesn't work with euros. Would still be a coup for Dash though To be honest i would be happy with any of those three exchanges you mentioned, although just like you i dont see myself actually using Coinbase (i'm European too). |

The only scammers are those scammers that shout scam, when there is no scam  Talking about markets, Dash is indeed doing really well : basicly it is slowly and methodically continuing its long term uptrend. Over a period of two months, Dash price increased from 0.0102 to 0.0198  |

I approve this thread. No worries. Nothing can be done with Dash N Drink or any Point of Sale idea with Dash until a mobile wallet can use InstantSend again. Strange to see you support TheDashGuy (aka FeelTheBern) and his view of Dash as a scam this way and at the same time being active in a Dash selling product. From a business point of view that does not make much sense to me. Good luck with DashnDrinks, i hope it all works out for you in the end. Just to be clear, I currently have no businesses accepting Dash or businesses selling anything Dash related. Dash is too risky to mess with right now. Coinfirm is tracking every transaction(very easy with so few everyday) the government can easily implement retroactive legislation to cause problems. It is also very likely masternodes will be tracked to their IP and public address making them big targets. I just don't see any of this ending well for Dash. That is besides the fact that Dash has no advantage over Litecoin right now without InstantSend. Sure it has pretty masternodes and a pretty core controlled budget system and maybe some hope for a fancy Evolution of Paypal in 2018. With so very few transactions, there is more anonymity just by using a coin with more transactions. And Litecoin has wallets on the app store so Apple users can actually use it, along with lightning months away. There are many other coins that are actually developing new ideas - not trying to copy the banking system. Well that is certainly a relief to know. Having a known scammer like TheDashGuy promoting the DashnDrinks site worried me. In a way i guess it is good to see you finally take that step to go full anti-Dash .. makes it more easy for us at the dash.org/forum to understand why you are still so very very busy there. It all makes sense now. In time it would perhaps be better to just move on... |

Friendly reminder that any not-thought-through Monero donations towards TheDashGuy this time around will not be compensated by the Dash community or the Dash dev team. How to stay anonymous with Dash running a Masternode :
* Buy Dash on an exchange or locally somewehere
* Mix Dash 8 rounds and Privatesend 1000 Dash to a new Masternode wallet address
Lets say after a year you want to use the interest that the masternode accumulated for you in your cold wallet :
* Use coin-control to sent the accumulated Dash to a new Dash address
* Mix that accumulated Dash 8 rounds
* Privatesend it to an exchange for FIAT or Privatesend it somewhere in the cryptoscene
Only the FIAT gateways (going in and out) form a weak link here, possibly requiring registration / know your customer rules / limit transaction amounts.
But thats the case for every cryptocurrency, once inside crypto you can use the mixing option of Dash to achieve above mentioned anonymity.
Will people / companies try to trace masternodes and their incoming and outgoing transactions ? Sure, but with above steps they will not be able to trace
masternodes back to their original owner.
