3301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 10, 2020, 08:54:08 AM
US accusing China reproducing the virus as bio chemical attack to them but they never talk about the cure of the virus.
It's a war between this two country..unfortunately, other countries are affected, and thus far, China won the war.

That's the problem.
Instead of uniting to find the cure it is still about who is the strongest of them.
Even China want the NBA players on their side offering so much money right?
Gilbert Arenas, Lance and a lot more. Even European and other countries players.
They are making their own NBA just to prove they are one of the strongest even in the market of entertainment.

Well, as of the virus there is still no proof if it is really a biochemical weapon or just a sickness from animals.
Even the media could tell lies just to provide a scoop.

They are getting an NBA players as an import maybe because they know American players are great players with good skills, especially the Black.
Well, I guess if China would compete, they will not beat the NBA, not in this business as the best players of basketball are in the USA.
3302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason behind recent drops in crypto haven on: April 09, 2020, 11:59:59 PM
A giant sell off is the reason behind the huge dump in Bitcoin price not coronavirus, it has something to do with a pyramid scheme called plustoken, below is the link to the full news

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-drop-due-to-13k-btc-plustoken-scam-not-coronavirus-analysts/amp
If here Plustoken dumped BTC price than why our whole economy crashed. I will put two reasons after 13k pumped now this is the correction and another is Coronavirus effect. Now I believe that Coronavirus can't hold Bitcoin price until halving, in the mean time this virus will be gone. I never heard that for giant sell off Bitcoin price dumped 2 times.
I believed this Plustoken and the current phenomenon caused by this corona virus have made great impacts on the market to crash. This scheme should be totally stopped now as we are heading into bitcoin halvening few months from now. Cryto market may recover slowly but the whole economy might suffer for even a year or two.
3303  Economy / Economics / Re: The History of Gold and Silver Points to the future of Cryptocurrency on: April 09, 2020, 11:44:07 PM
Uuhm...whatever, it still doesn't change the fact that fiat (current monetary system) will still remaining what it is, nothing is going to change that. Gold and the rest of them, including bitcoin, are all assets/stocks...

I agree.  But remember that under the gold standard, paper money circulated alongside gold coins.  And the majority of money in circulation was paper.

Now there is a difference in the stories told by the elites.  But we have to remember that these stories are/were designed to fool the public.  The old story was 'gold is money, and paper is debt payable in gold by the central bank.'  The new story will be 'when cryptos go up, it is a sign that savers stopped trusting the government and central bank, and we have to change policy, i.e. stop issuing so much money and debt.'

If you think about it, the two stories will amount to basically the same system, on the ground.  (The proof is left to you as homework!)

Possible. The value of a currency is based on trust, if people stop to trust the dollar, for example, what do you think it's going to happen?
Now thinking people will stop to trust USD and now trust only BTC can only happen in a cartoon TV show.

Even if we admit the current system is a failure, how do you want to 'reset' it with Bitcoin? And it's something that can't be done within a year.
Bitcoin is another form of currency that is decentralized and has no authority to follow. While it is in the process of its development,  USD will continue to be the main currency even if we keep on seeing how incapable it is. Gold and silver are still in the market today but if we compare them to bitcoin, there's no doubt that bitcoin has its highest value among them all.
3304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: April 09, 2020, 11:12:59 PM
That is why no people is really interested to invest on the ICOs in 2020.They only come with an idea which is just copied from other existing project with slight changes even they copy their whitepaper and start their fund raising programs so all they were interested is to make money not to deliver their project/product.
Everyone is aware of this already because this is already existing in 2019. This is the reason why investors need to study closely the project before deciding to invest in it because if an unfinished project has raised a good amount, they will be automatically gone without the knowledge of all their investors. Leaving all the investors pennyless which made them very unfortunate.
3305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old crypto ways fades away easily on: April 09, 2020, 10:53:26 PM
Early investors are wiser now and the days where crypto advisors or influencers have a huge impact on projects are over. The way investors choose project is bound to change since projects are being more competitive and how crypto market is advancing changes how projects will deliver their product for investors. I hope that as time goes by people will no longer be victimized by scam projects.
Scamming will only be stopped if people particularly newbies study first the project deeply before investing. Competitions are already very close today since out of 10 projects, i guess only 3-4 are legit and the rest are already scammed projects. Time has really changed the crypto market. If before we can still trust those crypto ways, now it's different already.
3306  Economy / Economics / Re: I think we can take pride that we didn't need a stimulus bill for btc on: April 09, 2020, 04:28:34 PM
We rebounded from 3800 to 6000 pretty quickly and at a greater strength than the S&P of ftse rebounding.... Maybe the smart minds really are in and backing crypto these days... Just something to reflect on there....

Bitcoin rebounded more strongly than the stocks because it also fell much harder than stocks. Also, there's a very good chance that Bitcoin recovered because stocks recovered, so it indirectly benefited from the stimulus, even though no one gave money to buy Bitcoin directly. Bitcoin would recover even without it, since we are so close to halvening right now, and it was also clearly oversold, so you're still right that we don't need stimulus.
Bitcoin is still more of an investment rather than a currency so it will never require a stimulus for it to rebound. But i also think that this incoming bitcoin halvening is somehow called a great stimulus because it will generally make the crypto community experience a price surge not just bitcoin alone but definitely potential altcoins too.
3307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: April 09, 2020, 04:04:00 PM
Of course this is the first rules for trading "Don't trade what you can't risk loosing". And many people in this thread learn from their mistakes. Specially those people whom knew crypto currency before 2018. I agree also that holding is much safer than trading. Holding bitcoin is totally safe but if you try to hold altcoin then you have to think twice which altcoin are you holding. Choosing wrong alt is very dangerous for hold. 10 BTC at this moment really valuable. I will recommendation to new traders that "calculate the amount of water before you jump in to the pond".
Trading is risky if you are not sure of what you are doing. But if you trade with much preparation, gained a lot of knowledge from different experiences, it will surely lessen the risk in trading. As long as you trade only with the amount you can afford to lose, then there's no wrong with it. Trading is not making profits all the time, sometimes it will also make you lose.
3308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 09, 2020, 03:41:18 PM
Bitcoin's price is not dependent on just a single factor. It is influenced by many factors and news is one of them.
I have personally seen cases where a news has triggered a good spike in bitcoin's price.
So in my opinion it does influence cryptocurrencies' price.
It also depends on the impact of the news on the crypto community because there are a lot of news also that don't have an effect to crypto so it never changes the price at all. But with the current phenomenon we have right now, corona virus has made a great impact not just on crypto alone but to the welfare of all the people in the whole universe.
3309  Economy / Economics / Re: Help of cryptocurrency in globalization. on: April 08, 2020, 11:42:12 PM
For me I would say that crypto currency is something else on its own. There is already that freedom we need, anyone that wants to make use of cryptocurrency can use it whenever they want and they wouldn’t be questioned about it, unless it’s declared illegal in your country; even if it’s illegal in your country, you can still buy it and store secretly and nobody will know that you have Bitcoin, that’s the good thing about it.

People only get to know that you have Bitcoin if you let them know about it or if you’re the type that’s buying from exchanges, they will know about it since they have every info. Cryptocurrency has already brought globalization, you can send money to anywhere around the world to anyone, at anytime you want. That’s the globalization.
Globalization has been existing already even before but if cryptocurrency will also be legalized in the whole countries, this will definitely add for more globalization. Transactions will be uniform through internet access and those money laundering will be minimized already because we are already in charge with our own finances.
3310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 08, 2020, 11:27:09 PM
Learn from your mistake is another important think should be followed by a crypto trader, which can be related to patience as well.We need to take notes when we lose and remember what we did wrong there and try to get better at them next time and there will be a new problems again and again so keep learning so one day you might learned everything so you can go hard without any fear.
Experience would be the best key to keep you learning from trading and these different mistakes that will keep on appearing will give you lot of lessons to learn. Patience should be the best virtue in trading, because without it, you'll never last long in the field of trading.
3311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: April 08, 2020, 07:35:54 PM
I appreciate these kinds of effort, because it just shows that in any way even those who are in a decentralized system would still be able to help at this pandemic.
Still it would be more immediate help to just donate some mask or start producing mask for the frontliners and take care of the event later after the pandemic.
Yes. This campaign would become more essential to the people if they will start donating mask and PPEs to the frontliners because they are more needing it compared to ordinary people. In this way, the whole universe will start making good impressions on the crypto world and the team behind it.
3312  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 08, 2020, 07:15:39 PM

As the COVID-19 strikes and spreads throughout the world it results on many changes in the lifestyle of many people. I guess after this pandemic coronavirus, everything has changed such as lifestyle, behavior, characteristics and also the way of their thinking. ...

I do not know when I will be able to return to the office for my main job, it is possible that the quarantine will be delayed for several more months. But the fact that this year I will not be able to go on vacation with my family in the summer is obvious now.
Everything is affected with this pandemic virus. But just like every crisis that came into our lives, everything will be back to normal once this pandemic virus is over but it might take a year for the whole universe to recover from this crisis. The only fact i know that this pandemic virus has brought to us, is that we should be more health conscious and observe proper hygiene so that this virus and the same like will not happen to us again.
3313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 07, 2020, 11:58:25 PM
We are knew that most of the projects since in the 2018 upto 2020 are scam because many scammer are enter crypto to scam us and use us. They are going to use us by doimg promotinv their project and the all benefits is only to them because the bounty hunters did not earn money if the project are scam and the worst of that is the investors who invest more money .  So we need to be careful of what project we promoted and invested.
Not just the bounty manager alone that needs to check the legitimacy of the project he's going to handle but most of all, we the bounty hunters because scam projects are not really worth of our time spending. There are a lot of projects that seem to be very potential at first but when it almost ends, suddenly it breaks the line and turns out into a scam one. This is the sad reality we are facing at the moment.
3314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: April 07, 2020, 11:43:58 PM
The thing is projects like Tokoin are very good projects and they are rare. Only good projects can achieve the kind of success they achieved in a bear market. Likes not like other projects are scam or too bad but it's the market conditions that makes it hard for them to succeed.
Good projects always end up a good one and a sucessful one but a bad project will never be good enough and always resulted into bad. So we should always DYOR before participating a project and make sure to check its background so we will not end up being scammed or even dumping our coins because of their low value.
3315  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: April 07, 2020, 12:52:57 PM
I fully admit that the Internet will become more expensive in the near future. But to be honest, I’m not afraid of this, since the Internet is a very good tool for studying information from various fields. This is one of the few places where you can openly convey the truth to people.
This is really the reality for now. Internet has become very in demand since all works today are already controlled by the internet, and without internet connection, those works will not be totally done. So we should not be surprised if one day internet would become the  most expensive commodity because everybody is relying on it for our own business and personal transactions.
3316  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 07, 2020, 12:14:42 PM
hell yes  . crisis are part of our lives  .

expect after this one there will always be  another one but im not wising it will happen  , im only saying the possibility   because you know its hard when there are crisis , people are suffering especially poor    .

i think one thing for sure that once this pandemic has done , people can go back on thier normal life again   . working normally  , playing and going outside  , etc  . there is no point to be negative for now mate   .
Hopefully things will be back to normal again but the problem is when will this pandemic ends. For now, it's best to prioritize all those basic needs that are necessary for our survival and leave those not so essential things. We should save more these days so we will not be totally empty pocket after this pandemic is over.
3317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: April 07, 2020, 06:03:16 AM
It's okay I think since if you guys made any social media account and then you already agree that they can collect your information for their own needs. But, it defeats the purpose of crypto where the anonymity is a main thing on crypto.

For people whose already joining crypto for a long time, they won't share their data even for the closest friends because they don't want people to actually know who are they. It's just up to you to actually describe what is good for crypto or not.
KYC is really a total opposition of what crypto is since it ruins our being anonymous. But if it will be used correctly, it will be a big help to stop scammers from their bad intentions. But if you really want to keep your privacy all the time, choose those exchanges that don't require it even if most of the centralized ones are already requiring it for more security.
3318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple trading advise for newbe that should follow on: April 07, 2020, 05:34:26 AM
Well, I must say for the new comers in cryptocurrency trading is to follow what has been posted in the OP, sure it's helpful, but there's just one of the many essential thing that helps you throughout your trading career, and that thing is called "experience".
There are actually a lot of trading tutorials in the internet and there are also video tutorials on youtube, which It is more easier to learn than learning from your own. There are a lot of learning stuff that are very important for your trading strategy, but then again, all of these will be effective once you have "experience".
So, those who planned to start a trading career, don't afraid to lose, and trade only what you can afford to lose.
Experience is really important, even though they follow the tips from the professionals, they still cannot make profit because of the lack of experience. Gaining experience is what we should focus in order for us to have better trading carrer. We can learn the strengths and our weaknesses by gaining experiences.

Then you're saying that we just need to face the risk head-on without getting ready?

Experience is what we earned from doing it in a long time but as a beginner, you will not have that experience that is why you need to depend on the knowledge that you have. You should educate yourself on what you will be facing, learn from those experienced traders and investors, read books and articles and don't stop unless you're successful enough.
Trading is really risky if you take it easily without basic preparations. This is the reason why trading  is not for everyone because most of the newbies today are expecting immediate profits without even studying the market well and how the crypto coins perform in the market. It's really a must to gain knowledge first from reading books and other resources and watching demos in the internet so you can minimize you losses once you start trading as a newbie.
3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: April 05, 2020, 11:59:31 PM
I cannot guarantee whether 2020 is the year we expect, but with regard to other things as we know that the Corona outbreak has affected the cryptoqurrency industry. in my opinion it looks like the reduced half-bitcoin event can be delayed due to the unfinished corona outbreak problem.
I also see it that bitcoin halving will still happen but it will be delayed due to corona virus. Crypto is really affected but somehow benefiting from this pandemic virus because it will be an eye opener to the people to start studying about crypto because sooner or later, the government will start using it. Bounties are still existing today but only those legit ones will end up sucessfully.
3320  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 will pave the way for CBDCs on: April 05, 2020, 11:39:21 PM
I won't say it isn't time yet but I would believe it is an eye opener for the world. Who would have thought that cash would be considered as a contact agent in recent time ? I'm sure that many countries will loosen up from their strict rules on cryptocurrency.

I guess it is. Those countries that are treating crypto as illegal might change their stance now.
But CBDCs will take time to have really good progress in actual implementation.
But yes, this situation may pave the way for them to proceed.

Yes. This pandemic virus has become an eye opener that fiat currency is no longer good enough in this current time since it causes the fast transmission of virus. Government should think on  switching into digital currencies for the safety of all the people but i guess this will not happen in just a blink of an eye. It will take time and will pass more debates and public discussions before it will be legally implemented.
