3321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: February 27, 2022, 01:02:59 PM
Looks like I gonna choose Canelo to win this fight since this is only like his past fights where you thought he might get some serious challenge but in reality, he will just gonna beat his opponent with no problem. That would be another exciting match since his opponent here is known to be a strong fighter and has no losses, looks like this is a great challenge for him as well because he is putting his clean record on the table fighting one of the current great boxers in this era.
3322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 27, 2022, 12:35:14 PM

Same here, if Durant comes back in time, then they can still survived in the regular games and go with the playoffs.

And then with Simmons waiting for his time and they occasional Irving being inserted, they could still manage to last 6th-7th spot in the East and automatic playoff berths. It might not be good position at they are going to face the top teams but we will never know specially with KD at the lineup.

It's more likely that they will gonna secure their spot in the NBA playoffs once Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons will play together and we will gonna see more improvement with Ben Simmons once he really does his job and play real basketball in Brooklyn Nets. This is one of the reasons why they really need to consider changing their rules when it comes to Kyrie Irving because he is one of the keys to unluck their strong performance to climb to the NBA finals but they instead choose to make it hard for him until today.
3323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia cut off from Swift is fantastic opportunity for bitcoin on: February 27, 2022, 11:02:49 AM
I'm reading many articles explaining that Russia shall be cut off from the SWIFT global interbank payments system, as a sanction in response to its invasion of Ukraine. That means it would be impossible to make bank transfers between Russia and most other countries.

I see this as an absolutely fantastic opportunity for BTC.
If you can"t use banks, just use BTC and be happy.

looks like they have been ready for those kinds of hostility by their enemies and they were experiencing with bitcoins lately, I think we will finally see some kind of green light for bitcoins here since there will have no choice but to adopt it and the holders will rejoice if that will gonna happen in this year. A bad move for its enemies since Russia has their own alternatives or Plan B when something like this happened, no matter how hard they impose sanctions against them, it won't really matter.
3324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things are going with new crypto is worrisome on: February 27, 2022, 10:26:10 AM
Almost everyone I knew now creates their own tokens  Grin these guys aren't even crypto developers to begin with, they have no coding experience or knowledge now this makes me worry, imagine how many crypto tokens that are created by inexperienced personal, I think we need to buckle up for there will be huge rain of scam tokens upon us than what we've seen before...... Sigh! I wish that only few qualified people knew how to build blockchain projects.

This has happened when the way of creating tokens has been published and there are lots of tuts out there but the problem is, those who don't have anything with them or anything like sponsors or supporters, wanted to promote their tokens by posting it in bounty section. they made the choices hard for the hunters and if you are unlucky you will gonna promote such a project and get some rewards tokens from them but the worse part is, they don't have any value even though you hold them for years. I have huge numbers of them in my old wallet.
3325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 25, 2022, 03:08:53 AM

Obviously, the Nets don't have a big trio. Simmons has been away for too long, and it is unlikely that he will be able to become a key player like Durant or Irving. Speaking of Kyrie, he still hasn't been vaccinated. However, there are rumors that the mayor of New York is going to phase out vaccine mandates in the near future.

As of now, the Brooklyn Nets are struggling against the Boston Celtics who pushed furthermore to secure their playoff spot. The Nets needed badly this win but what they can do against the rising Celtics which gonna be a torn for the Eastern Conference teams because of their late improvement. If they can somehow stop the Bucks in the Playoff, we will see them in the NBA finals.

3326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 24, 2022, 04:08:57 AM
Khabib is having some rich friends and if he is in trouble or needs money, he will be able to raise money from his Arab friends. I doubt Khabib will ever offer any partnership to Conor McGregor.

If that is cased, then that would be much better because Mc Gregor is no longer have fame because of his injury and a number of losses. There will be not much more to offer when they want to promote their partnership with a comeback fight because everyone knows who will gonna win. Instead, Kabeeb needs to put his effort into promotions since he only started his business and maybe he can do that by only getting some real fighters to fight there not a celebrity fighter who already retired long2x time ago and to boost his company as well, he needs to keep have some fights every week like how UFC started.
3327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stealth Variant of Omicron, Covid 19 Third Wave. on: February 24, 2022, 03:22:26 AM
Omicron is the vaccine that big pharma should have developed. If the government could only leave it alone, then we can all get immunity and get on with our lives.

Does it mean the 2 doses of Pfizer will not be enough to combat this new variant?
If that was the case, then I'm afraid that there will be another 2.0 version of the vaccine which will gonna be available once there will be a surge of numbers people that get infected again.

Looks like we are gonna be the guinea pig again  Sad
3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 24, 2022, 02:46:45 AM
As far as I know, Ben Simmons is suspended until March 8. This means that he is going to miss lots of games in this time period. But when Durant and him return, Nets are going to be much stronger than their current look in the regular season. They are going to be a complete team then. Seth Curry has already started playing and adapted quite quickly. I'm looking forward to watching the Durant - Simmons - Curry trio in the near future. If they strike sparks off each other, then we could watch a solid Nets in the playoffs.

As of now, he is practicing with legendary shooter Kyle Korver who can boost his skills if he followed his instruction well. this is a rare opportunity for ben Simmons hs should not take this opportunity late and prove to everyone that he can change to a lethal shooter whenever the team needs him the most. As we can see, Embiid already tried Harden's step back but failed in the first try but in the second try, he managed to execute it well though it's not even that long since he practice it.

3329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Just Legalized Bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 02:15:39 AM
First Russia adopted crypto and announced to make it legal and now the Ukraine did the same. Both of these countries are at the verge of war against each other.
Though it makes no sense but still i wonder if the tense situation in both countries is the triggering point for the adoption of bitcoin?

If a total war broke out between these two countries then the best thing to do is convert your assets into bitcoins and find a way to get out from those countries to save yourself from a senseless war which you don't even know the reason for. Many people are worried about it since only the civilians will suffer and those in the authority will only seat on their couch and execute the order to their military. Now is the time to do it because when the war will broke out, you won' have any convenience withdrawing your funds from the banks.
3330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope paper wallet gets a rebirth on: February 24, 2022, 01:51:30 AM
Is paper wallet still up and running for crypto coins today? Why aren't new altcoins using paper wallet? The last one I saw was electroneum in 2017 since then no other coin use paper wallet anymore, no matter how hard I think about it paper wallet feels safer what about you?

If you know how to create a secure paper wallet, it's safer to store it there than in exchanges that have full control of your crypto assets. You just need to follow the guidelines on how to create one because creating it in a common way may result in some regret because you didn't fulfill the condition to create the wallet securely. There are lots of tutorials in the beginner section you can find right there and choose which one suits you. For me, if you cannot afford or cannot get a hard wallet, a paper wallet is the answer.
3331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Frozen' Bitcoin Tied to Canadian Protests Lands at Coinbase, Crypto.Com on: February 23, 2022, 03:16:11 PM
If a protestor came to me and ask how to be more anonymous, I think I will share with him information.
He's trying to protect his assets and defend financial freedom, why not help him?

I cannot help him with that rather I'll just guide him to some of the tutorials here which he will have the full decision whether he follows it or not. As for me, I just wanted them to learn from their own mistake and become strong next time so that they can help others as well. It seems like we cannot assure the other services for anonymity because they can be easily tracked, we need a higher and more secure way of doing transaction so that we cannot be monitored for our own safety as well.
3332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin 🐕‍🦺 1$ possible in 2022 or not? on: February 23, 2022, 02:41:02 PM
DogeCoin is not a common meme coin since we have Elon Musk always promoting it and now he has something new to offer with it and that's how it goes so popular nowadays because they keep updating and using it as a preferred payment for the supercharger stations of Tesla. if this is the case, then the desirable price will be reached maybe not this year, but in the next years to come because they keep promoting it in their own way that it seem working everytime they do it.
3333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 23, 2022, 03:34:45 AM
I’m glad to see that DeMarcus Cousins is getting a contract with the Denver Nuggets for the rest of the season. Sacramento did him dirty and it’s been nothing but injuries and missed opportunities since then. It appears he’s finally gotten himself into a position where he can rebuild his game and show the league what he is capable of. He may never put up the monster numbers he did in Sacramento ever again, but he’s certainly got a couple years left where he could be a menace off the bench for a contender.

The dude was a monster back then and he can still be a good asset for the Denver Nuggets especially to preserve Jokic's health and to give him more rest. We will see how effective he is with the team after the All-star game where the teams double their effort to preserve their spot in the playoff or to catch up and snatch it from others. Denver Nuggets' last game is a crucial win and Cousins has just shown them how he can handle situations like that even you gonna play against a top contender team, you're not gonna play soft.
3334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be prepared on: February 23, 2022, 02:50:00 AM
No matter how high crypto coins go bear market is unavoidable it's just the way the market survives, many people are brainwashed with present market condition that they already forget what bear market is, no amount of money can stop bear market from happening, don't say I don't warn you be prepared.

We are already prepared and know exactly what to do when there is a bear market, it just means "opportunity". I rather buy on the bear market than join the hype where it might be a bull-trap or I am the last buyer then after that everyone will sell again. The common strategy "Buy low, sell high" is the most popular strategy and yet it's really working but you need to have a huge amount of patience and perseverance because the hype is tempting and you might gonna join them as soon as you see the price sky-rocketed.
3335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 23, 2022, 02:07:29 AM
I don't see a fight happening between Mike Tyson, until that's sorted. Mike Tyson has been on Logan's podcast so he knows the sort of people these guys are, and if there was any truth in this possibly happening, Mike is definitely only doing it for the money. I imagine several boxers have advised Mike to not do it for boxing sake, as well as his legacy. Logan will likely get another big name though in his career.

Mike is different from others because he has a great impact after Muhammad Ali and lots of histories in boxing happened just because of him, his a legend and that's not gonna be ruined by these Paul Brothers where they win is always controversial and they're just making things up just for the sake of money. They are one of the reason why people will not believe boxing industry nowadays, they just need to look for someone else if they want to win again and again, since they wanted to beat some strong fighters, they have lots of option anyway.
3336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: California senator filed a bill to allow payment of state services with Bitcoin on: February 23, 2022, 01:34:28 AM
Amazing.. Many countries have opened and accepted cryptocurrency. In fact, crypto is not a threat but a new technology. Referring to the related statement, there are still no details regarding what crypto will be used and when it will be valid in the country. But positively cryptocurrencies have at least been glimpsed and will be enforced as a legal payment method later there.

They are now realizing the good thing it can do and to get some taxes from potential investors, they allowed it and give them the freedom to operate in their country. This is how it should be for the others that have gone hostile to bitcoins, all they need to do is stay neutral and let every exchange or other platform and stores accept BTC as payment. With this, all they gonna do is accept some taxes from their transactions when they want to convert it to fiat. All will be happy, but other countries choose to remain hostile.
3337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning Bitcoin is Like Banning the Internet, Says Russia’s Finance Minister on: February 22, 2022, 09:27:49 AM
Not only Russia but also other nations failed to ban the Internet. So what do you expect when you say and are witnessing that they are trying to ban Bitcoin like what they tried to ban the Internet?

If that is the case then there will come a time in the future where bitcoins will be used like how we use the internet today but in the finance industry where people use it as money and you can actually buy anything using BTC. looks like we have a solid supporter here, hope that they won't change their decision regarding bitcoins and continue to support it until everyone recognized it as one of the official currencies of the world. right now, only the governments are against or stay neutral with bitcoins, they're citizens that already know it is mostly using it.
3338  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fight against corruption on: February 22, 2022, 04:52:50 AM
When a government is too bad of corruption it is not that easy to make it corrupt free state, corruption is like a deadly disease in that have no cure. If there is a president that is not corrupt it will be hard for him to end corruption or won't be even possible for him to end corruption.
Ofcourse, you are very right talking about corrupt leadership leading to corrupt society.A bad government will always result to corruption because embezzlement of fund and misappropriation becomes the order of the day.
From the head to the least, corruption becomes too common to the extend  that almost every activity that is done is done in a corrupt way.

Every disease has a cure except for old age and death, of course, if they change the whole system and appoint the right person as a leader, they can turn the table and fix their country at a slow pace if they were the worst country ever. Just look how bad in the past these successful countries we have right now, they were even worse because they don't have any leader or they have been colonized by some lunatic empire in the past but they managed to fix their countries in the span of 50 or more years.

3339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscars to include Fan-Favorite Film via Twitter on: February 22, 2022, 03:16:35 AM
As practice shows, even blockchain-based social networks are susceptible to manipulation. Of course Twitter does not have sufficient protection against bots, so it does not make sense to organize voting through this platform because the results will not be reliable. If we should do voting, it should be on a blockchain with a pair of keys tied to a person's identity and the ability to verify each vote.

That would be the main problem for that cause we know it, there are lots of fake accounts on Twitter that will make the voting system corrupt if ever they gonna include it. I think they need to make a test first before they will include the real voting system to avoid technical problems like bots and other exploits that will ruin all the fun. We already know how they can easily create multiple accounts and make it seems like a legit person using in while in reality its just one of thousands accounts of a single person.
3340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 22, 2022, 02:47:32 AM

Correct, and based on the comments, this motivation makes the game fun for Steph and us fans seeing an insane shooting night for him.

So it's not boring to me, and if I'm not mistaken, all players have their time in the game but obviously there are those that have been voted the most and the stars amongst the starts. So no complain about the distribution of time. What's important is that the fans come to see a good and entertaining game.

That's what it should be and we are glad to watch it yesterday and even more proud for Steph since he has that inspiration to boost his performance and finally won the All-Star MVP. Tomorrow we are back with the games and this is where the real fun begins since those teams that still have the chance to snatch a spot in the top 10 will play well and sometimes might get to where they want to. Both the top 12-15 are still close and if they managed to get some straight wins, they can snatch it from the other teams that are struggling.
