It is a season that I think will be exciting, challenging and colorful. The fact that some anti-vaccine players will not play for most of the season may spoil the enjoyment of the viewing. These players include kyrie irving bradley beal m. There are also players like porter jr andrew wiggins. and unfortunately these players seem very persistent in their decisions. Of course, they will not receive most of their annual wages.

What do you mean by surprise? It's always possible that a team in the 10th spot can still enter the playoffs.

What teams you are eyeing to move forward on playoffs?

Simply, just take those Top 6 teams that will have a sure slot on the playoffs. It's a safe bet to assume that those teams are now decided.

If they remain to play like this and Harden+Embiid will have good chemistry then then maybe we can say that they are a title contender team for that.

Definitely, when Harden gets a good rating when playing with Embiid, that means they have chemistry. Imagine, it's only his first game and he almost tallies a triple double, you can tell how all around he is as a player and the Sixers really needed that.

Looks like everything is going well on the Sixers, with James Harden on board.

He should be as that's what Sixers is expecting from him. I just hope that kind of performance will be maintained and consistent until the end of their road this season to playoffs. I wasn't able to watch the game and I badly want to see how Joel Embiid allows Harden to be the main man or how's their rotation during their possession.

So I wouldn't expect any surprises for the rest of the season. Although the Nets are likely to move up in the standings once Durant returns.

For sure they can do that, with Durant, Irving and Simmons playing together, they have a bigger chance to win every game and that will give them an opportunity to increase their ranking. Though they have some struggle, I would say they are still a threat even if they finish at the bottom just to quality in the playoffs.

Surprises are mostly when injuries happen. Like when Chris Paul and James Harden are near winning the WCF against GSW and after that a possible Finals championship then all of a sudden CP3 was injured and Harden cannot handle the heavy load to carry the Rockets team. Now, it's CP3 again with an injury but it is said to heal in 6-8 weeks so there's still room before the playoffs. Phoenix Suns will just need to endure it now and win games they can while their veteran is out.

The Bucks vs Nets game was absolutely delightful to watch last night. Bucks were being favoured very highly before the game started. And I was also thinking that there was no way to run for Nets in this game. However, Irving's great effort was really the thing that brought the win to his team by 126-123. He carried the team by scoring 38 points and they hardly managed to win this thanks to his insane performance. It was nice to see his father hugging Irving after his great performance. This kind of wins against tough teams can be really important for Nets to get better.

Yeah, I see your point. Anything goes if Durant is around but then again, it's going to be a series and the team that are more consistent usually wins. If standings stay as they are right now, they will most likely defeat Raptors and advance to face the Bulls. That's going to be a good series for sure and I'm taking Chicago in six or seven games.

Another very great game of the night was Chicago Bulls - Memphis Grizzlies. Bulls tried their best against Grizzlies here but they were really helpless against Ja Morant's amazing performance. He was surely player of the game as he got 46 PTS in this. He is just an incredible player already now at this young age. Grizzlies owe most of their success in the games so far to him that's for sure. And I can't wait to see his performance in the playoffs. He can help his team reach a really good stage there if he performs like this.

Yeah, it seems that Morant bounce back from a poor performance their last game. And he doesn't want to have a back to back loses. It's just an unfortunately that Morant's victim is the Bulls.

On the other hand, it seems that there is some who have the Bulls at -1.5 to -2.5 in this game. So it's a lost, but for sure we can bounce back from this one lost from the Bulls.

Update: According to the New York Post, it is likely that Durant will be returning to the floor for the Nets this coming Saturday. If not Saturday, then in the next week or so. Here is a quote from Post story by Nets head coach Steve Nash:

“I’m sure it’s possible, but for me it’s probably – again – in the next three games. More than likely Saturday.”

Agree. That's a strong Milwaukee Bucks they fought last night and the back and forth lead on the last quarter was epic. Kyrie Irving and Khris Middleton battling on their mid-range shooting but it ended quite well for the Nets to keep the lead for a win. Goran Dragic also made some contributions on his Nets debut with his crucial shots.
Kevin Durant is almost back maybe next week but what I am excited about is when I get to see Ben Simmons playing with them.

It's more likely that they will gonna secure their spot in the NBA playoffs once Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons will play together and we will gonna see more improvement with Ben Simmons once he really does his job and play real basketball in Brooklyn Nets. This is one of the reasons why they really need to consider changing their rules when it comes to Kyrie Irving because he is one of the keys to unluck their strong performance to climb to the NBA finals but they instead choose to make it hard for him until today.

There's no doubt about that, Kevin Durant will come back strong just like he always do and makes things right with the Nets. Today they have won against the Bucks and it was a nice game, Seth Curry threw a lot of 3's and especially Drummond played well in the defense and blocked important shots. KD + Irving tandem will be much stronger even if we don't include Simmons in the equation, but hopefully Simmons will do well to.

They still have a chance to play in the playoffs, if they will consistent like today then they would likely make it to the playoffs. They're just few games away in the 6th spot.

Right, it's a big win for the Nets over a tough team and with Giannis playing and it's on their home court. I think it was Goran's experience as well who keep them in the game. Kyrie though is still hard to guard and no one can go and put a handcuff on him one of one. So another breather room for the Nets while waiting for KD and Simmons to play.

 The talk around the league is that Lebron is unhappy with the current situation. He told the management they should not get Westbrook and get some shooters, but they saw a superstar and took him anyway. It resulted with the team being bad, and now that they also didn't send him away for a better fit player until the deadline, its obvious they are not going to be great this year. With AD missing 4-5 more weeks on to pof all the games he missed, they are going to suck this year for sure. Lebron is furious that his last years is passing without getting some more rings and he may actually end up leaving. His contract is getting over and he could just do 1 year rental in any place until his son joins the league and just go join that team before he retires. Its a real valid possibility.
