google is your best friend.
start using it (or any other search engine that you may prefer) if you search "how to buy bitcoin" you can find many good results.
add to your question the name of your country and you find better results to your situation.
3322  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex got hacked!? on: June 17, 2016, 02:51:08 PM
Hey guys,

I'm not saying that poloniex got hacked but all ETH deposits are gone.

I deposited some ETH and blockchain tells me that they went through but they aren't shown in poloniex.

I tried to change my password and it didn't let me.

I thought it's maybe only my account that has got problems... but in the trollbox there are a lot of other people having the exact same issues.

Considering the news that DAO got hacked I feel certain that poloniex got hacked.

It went through.  It's Poloniex witholding everyone's ETH to avoid a major dump.  This could be a request behind the scenes from the Ethereum Foundation itself.

this is one of the biggest reasons that i switched over to BITTREX for all my altcoin tradings. poloniex is too shady and they have been doing a lot of these things that make me not want to trust them at all.
3323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins on: June 17, 2016, 02:46:54 PM
i'm sure if OP still have 13BTC since he post this, now he will make good profit, and its really simple. and i think its not too late if hold 13 bitcoins until bitcoin halving,i'm sure the price will rise more and more when halving come.

i agree.
the price has gone up so much from that time. but he could have made a lot more profit if he had listened to one of these suggestions in the previous 13 pages and invested in something like trading. he could have 20 bitcoin by now and enjoy much more profit.
3324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 17, 2016, 02:41:31 PM
People are stopping using Bitcoin when they know that they cant earn profit with it and that is bad because you have to be patience with it.
And yeah it can takes a long time until the value will be higher so that is really bad.

using bitcoin doesn't mean taking a profit out of it, that would be using fiat.

USING bitcoin means people start treating it more as a currency, and businesses start accepting it as a payment so people can spend bitcoin instead of cash.

but if you want to buy bitcoin to sell it high and get out fast, you better use your fiat and don't even bother with bitcoin.
3325  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going up and up on: June 17, 2016, 02:34:53 PM
You can indeed see now that Bitcoin is going to be more worth and that is really nice because many people are now holding it so that is nice.
And of course it is hard to know the right moment to sell it because the value is always changing.

you don't need to be greedy for selling bitcoin, and you shouldn't be.

if you want the profit just sell whenever you feel like this is enough for you, and enjoy the money.

but i suggest you to keep bitcoin and try using it instead for things like buying online.
3326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: June 17, 2016, 02:30:09 PM
Actually not all people losing in long term and it depend on the game, i have very good experience with sports betting so that i can say this without any doubt it has pretty good chance to make nice profit if we picked good option for betting.

Yup! in picking sports betting as a gambling method that you are betting on is a great option, sports betting is the safest gambling method you can play that I think many would agree with me, but even if it is the safest you can always reconsider in betting on the other side cause you can never know when your preferred team will continue on winning.

Yeah i agree because you are not playing for your own mpney and it really matters on what team you place your bet, and also no house will bust you to get lost.

Well even you are going to pick the best team in sports betting and you are going to place your bet on the team you know that will going to win.
Sports is also a business you know, and  we cannot really predict the real happenings there either same with gambling.
So, all of you guys who are sports better will just lose in the long run.

Yup! like I have said earlier in my post even if you know 100% that the team you will bet on is gonna win you can never predict who's gonna win in the end and sports betting is still a gambling game and all gambling game are risky, but sports betting has a bigger amount in winning it.

we have seen many times that even good teams lose to a crappy unknown team that nobody even know before this game.

so even in sports betting you can never be 100% sure because the players are also human and can make mistakes that leads to losses even if they are the best team in the world.
3327  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price the BTC must reach next month for you to sell? on: June 17, 2016, 02:27:17 PM
i am looking for at least prices higher than $1100 to sell anything, even small amounts but also i have plan to spread my orders if i decide to sell anything. something like selling at $1100 then $1500 then $2000 and above.
3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 17, 2016, 02:24:02 PM
To me it feels like people see a way to generate a lot of money and so they gamble and keep on gambling until they win.
They won't stop until they hit jackpot. Problem is 99% don't make the jackpot phase.

It's as easy as that.

actually the gambling addiction comes when people start losing money.

because most of them, when they lose money they try their best to win it back so they chase their losses until they are out of money and even if they can they will deposit more money to continue chasing and that is why they get addicted.
3329  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex got hacked!? on: June 17, 2016, 02:19:04 PM
since poloniex has been one of the biggest places that had ethereum, they may be disabling ethereum deposits to prevent people from dumping their ethereum so they can prevent this altcoin's crash or at least slow it down until they can get out themselves.

Sure - they sell their own coins and their users have got bad luck and see how the price drops while their coins are frozen - that's a great idea.

I still think it has got hacked.

The blockchain shows that my coins are at the polo deposit adress - but they aren't shown on poloniex.

maybe they are hacked, it is not impossible.

something similar has happened once before with poloniex and ethereum, if i am not mistaken it was after the first eth pump when poloniex went offline before the price went down and many lost the opportunity to sell their coins before it is late. although it was short that time.
3330  Economy / Gambling / Re: DecBot - Bitcoin casino bot with 100% winning chance. on: June 17, 2016, 02:14:07 PM
this is the funniest thing i have seen today so far.

dude there is no way that can guarantee you 100% win in gambling and that bot is most probably going to install some kind of malware or keylogger on your system and steal your bitcoins.
3331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would anyone be interested in taking some action? on: June 17, 2016, 02:10:09 PM
I'm looking to place a wager, in BTC that I can lose 75 pounds in one year, anyone interested in the action?

That a good that you want to improve yourself like that. Well done ! I think people should take you up on your offer. I won't because I want you to lose the weight Smiley good luck !

this topic is old my friend.
and if i can remember correctly OP gave up on the idea back then because nobody either trusted him or people didn't want to take him up on this bet.

3333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unnatural Bitcoin Price Growth Cannot Be Sustained Indefinitely on: June 17, 2016, 02:03:40 PM
"Bitcoin is still undervalued by quite a margin, but we should not run the marathon before we can take our first steps either."

That is the main thought of this article: http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/06/13/unnatural-bitcoin-price-growth-cannot-sustained-indefinitely/

And here is my question. Do you think that bitcoin is undervalued, but we should wait for larger scale adoption, develop infrastructure and services around it first, before pushing it?

or

Bitcoin is undervalued, so it is perfectly fine as it is now and all we need is higher price to push it to the next level and adoption, recognition and userbase will come with it?

bitcoin is surely undervalued , and there is no argument there.

but this doesn't meant that the bitcoin is ready to have this much value right now and the current price rise is not because of adoption. so it needs a bit longer to reach that stage and have the real price rise because of adoption.
3334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Bitcoin Spread ? on: June 17, 2016, 01:59:28 PM
people will always choose the good technologies themselves and even if you don't tell them like advertising and things like that they will find out good stuff and will use them just like bitcoin but it will always take time.
3335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: June 16, 2016, 11:20:34 AM
whenever i see this kind of question in the forum the first thing that comes to my mind to tell is that "buy before it is too late".

and it is not late yet, you have already missed out on a lot of profit but there is still room to grow so buy now to enjoy the rest of the ride at least.
3336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before and After the Halving. on: June 16, 2016, 11:15:29 AM
I personally expect same price change as in last halving in 2013
everything point in that direction and i hope it will be like that so my opinion is that we will hit maybe 1000 before halving

yeah all the indications of the rise is here but i think this time the price will go so much higher.

last time this rise happened there were a lot less investors in bitcoin and now a more people have been buying bitcoin and a lot more whales are in it for the profit.
3337  Other / Archival / Re: The future of bitcoin... on: June 16, 2016, 11:11:46 AM
The bitcoin would be verry popular in the future for sure if you see right now there are so many people interested in the bitcoin so the future must be bright for this cryptocurrencie.

The future will be veery nice to the bitcoin because in the future there will be many more peopel are using the coins for sure.

As technology keeps on developing, I can say that its true that in the future bitcoin will be spread and be use internationally by different countries and I hope this soon will not take so long.

future belongs to the new technologies and bitcoin is one of the most promising one of them, and in the near future we will definitely see bitcoin grow so much bigger and become accepted all over the world and  even by those who haven't even heard about bitcoin yet.
3338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Each country will have his own altcoin , how about bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 11:07:39 AM
this is so pointless in my opinion.
bitcoin or any altcoin (crypto currencies in general) are better to be decentralized not becoming a centralized coin controlled by the government or the banks.
3339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the number of BTC you would be happy in 2 years time? on: June 16, 2016, 11:04:30 AM
Hey community,

I ve been reading a lot about BTC and a few very promising alts recently. There are a lot of speculations about what happens after halving and what could be the next heir to the throne, if any. So, having all this in mind, what would be your realistic MINIMUM target, the number of BTC you d feel comfortable with within the next 2 years. Pls avoid statements like 1 million or as much as possible. I d like to know what kind of return you would expect from all this and what is your minimum limit.

Thx

the more bitcoin i have the better.

although i would be a very happy man if i could accumulate something like 50 bitcoin within next two years.
and it would be so much better if after two years from now the bitcoin price is stable above $1000 and don't come back after a quick pump.
3340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 16, 2016, 10:56:14 AM
the level of hardness only depends on the person who wants to do it, giving up gambling can be super easy as a pie for one person while it is super hard for another. it only depends on how much you can control yourself so you have to first work on this controling techniques to acheive that.
For gamblers I don’t think that gambling is too much easy to leave, they are addicted to it and they play again and again and do not leave gambling o matter how much you try to understand them, but they leave until they lose all of their money in there.

yeah we all know that giving up gambling is not an easy task by any means. but it is something that you have to do sometimes because if you don't give it up in case you are addicted to gambling then you will soon end up losing all your money and with the price of bitcoin going up, it would be really hard to see all that money lost.
