I want to install WavesLiteClient on my Linux system. All I found on the website is a debian installation file (.deb). I do not use a debian-based system so it does not fit for my system. Can I find an alternative Linux file somewhere? A jar file for example? All I found was waves-lite-client-mainnet-v0.5.18.zip (unpacked includes a jar file) on https://github.com/wavesplatform/WavesGUI/releases, but for one thing it does not seem to be a lite wallet and the other thing the latest version is more than half a year old. |

First of all, I am not sure if it is allowed to post the entire (or a large part) of an article. Nor according to the article owner nor to the btct rules.
Secondly, it is fundamentally a misconception to think that really 25 billion have flown out of the market. Sure, the market capitalization has dropped, but considering the fact that many coins are not available at all or do exist only on "paper", about 1/10 of the actual losses of market capitalization is enough to cause such a big impact. Therefore one should abstain from such statements.

Electrum allows their users to see a list of addresses even if their private keys are kept on a hardware wallet. However, don't expect to be able to generate as many of them as you would like to. I guess it's not enabled by default so after you initialize your wallet, click View and select Show addresses. Thanks a lot. I use both, Nano Ledger and Electrum but I did not know that I can use both in combination. I'll give it a try. Of course, to create an infinite number of address was exaggerated. A dozen or two is enough for me. |

Is there a Bitcoin service in connection with Ledger Nano that allows you to create many Bitcoin addresses? I mean something like MyEtherWallet. MyEtherWallet lets me log in with my Ledger Nano and have many Ethereum addresses where I can use one address for every use case. I'm looking for something like this for Bitcoin as well. Currently I only have one Bitcoin address via Ledger Nano.

what i found is this: i was not able to start the osx wallet and received this message. Uncaught exception: Error: message encrypted to unknown key, device , len=228. The error might be caused by restoring from an old backup or using the same keys on another device. i had this problem after I had done this: I changed the hub from https://byteball.fr to byteball.org/bb so I had old messages encrypted with my old key and stored on the other hub. what solved the problem was: i switched back the hub. i deleted all the messages. then i changed the hub and received the error message. the wallet crashed. the after the next restart the wallet worked again. I need help with an error message that appears on client launch from one day to another. New installation of the client software did not solve the error. I use MacOs.

However, I have run the wallet only on one machine since I am dealing with Byteball. I also did not restore a wallet backup or something else. Just want to get back access to my Bytes :/ I remember a similar error was reported on our Slack helpdesk. AFAIR it could be resolved by starting the wallet several times. Thank you both for your help! I followed both suggestions and after several restarts I got a message at startup "whether the hub X should be replaced by hub Y?" I clicked on "replace" button and now my wallet works again. I have no idea which of the two methods led to success. |

Well, if volume grows and price dumps then it means that there are more sellers than buyers. Of course there are buyers which know what is behind NEM and wait for the breakthrough that will come. But there are also bots which buy and sell what drives the volume, too. |

ich finde die agama wallet sehr gut und auch sehr user freundlich und sehe deshalb auch keinen grund jetzt eine neue auszuprobieren  und wenn demnächst dann auch noch die erc20 tokens in der neuen version unterstützt werden, dann ist das noch ein großes plus bei agama zu bleiben  Ich bin auch zufrieden mit Agama. Frage dazu: Stehen grundsätzlich alle Funktionen auch im Light Modus zur Verfügung? Bisher habe ich Agama im Native Modus verwendet aber ich leide derzeit unter akuten Speicherplatzproblemen  du kannst diverse coins auch mit dem lite modus verwalten. nur bei ARRR geht es zur zeit nur mit dem native modus. Wenn ich die Technik dahinter richtig verstanden habe, dann wird es auch nie mit Lite funktionieren, da sonst die Privacy aufgehoben ist bzw. deine Transaktionen deutlich einfacher identifiziert werden können. Aber leider findet man dazu auch noch nicht viele Informationen. Meine Fragen im Discord dazu wurden bisher nicht beantwortet. |

Wenn sich jemand informiert und in Google nach Savedroid sucht, kommt dieser Thread (Dank der Aktivität darin) ziemlich weit oben. Und i.d.R. schauen sich Nutzer die letzten Posts an und diese sind sicherlich alles andere als gute Werbung. Somit unterstützen wir meiner Meinung nach nicht Savedroid damit das wir über negativen Ereignisse rund um dieses Unternehmen diskutieren. Viele von uns denken vielleicht Savedroid hat schon einen negativen Ruf und da würde eh keiner mehr investieren. Aber aus eigener Erfahrung sind weiterhin viele Newbies, die mit Bitcoin und Blockchain bisher wenig am Hut hatten, interessiert zu investieren. Aus meinem Umfeld vernehme ich sogar, dass das Interesse wieder steigt, trotz der aktuellen Marktphase. Und viele schauen sich erst mal nach Unternehmen/Projekte um die für sie greifbarer sind als z.B. Waves und EOS , und landen dann meist bei Unternehmen wie Savedroid, dass ja aus Deutschland kommt und nur ein gutes Investment sein kann (habe ich schon von jemand so vor Kurzem gehört). Wie gesagt, nicht sofort aber irgendwann greifen sie darauf zu P.s. Wir sollten aufhören in diesem thread zu schreiben, ich mag nicht nochmal solche betrüger unterstützen, sei es auch nur dadurch das ich ihren thread oben halte |
