As you can see, it would encourage people to combine their addresses, since moving up in the ranks can get you substantially more coins. The formula is only a suggestion. You can flatten out the curve by changing the parameters. for example, change 10000 to 50000 or 100000

Make your next airdrop parabolic. It will encourage the whales to consolidate their coins into 1 address. Yes, they will get more coins, but they won't hog up 50+ spots and free up spots for the minnows to get some coins.

Is there a way to lend USD on Poloniex or can that only be done on Bitfinex?
No USD lending available on Polo, unfortunately.

Can someone tell me why this coin was born?
To introduce the scalability problem with bitcoin by implementing 10M blocks +segwit. Plus a good excuse to fork off of Bitcoin Core v .0.14.

I've noticed that many more BTCs have been linked for this round and that the adoption rate is therefore happily growing. Let's hope that the newcomers learn from the past price action and don't dump their free Bytes. Anyone who did dump in the past has good reasons to regret now.
Your community members are doing a good job spreading the word. I think I'll HODL for a bit. Although I am sure the 59 MB that I'll be getting really wouldn't effect the market much. Maybe I'll buy some GB two weeks after the airdrop.

Well i managed to get in a support ticket to Bitmain and they said they would not stop withdraws.. What's with blocking all USA instead of just NYC from making btc/Ltc deposit? Due you plain on blocking withdraws too? 2017-07-03 cui.wang@bitmain.comHi, We stopped the deposit service for the USA. July 4, 2017, 1:12:13 AM Icon-32860 But you will still allowing withdraws correct and wont block them? July 4, 2017, 3:12:32 PM cui.wang@bitmain.comyes. So from the horse's mouth Well, at least they will let us withdraw. Guess I'll play with what I get when they slowly pay back my PACMiC.

Due to regulatory concerns beyond our control we cannot accept deposits from the State of New York.
Got that today when trying to send ltc to hashnest, even though i am not in New York and seems i cant bypass the statement , there is no way for me to send ltc/btc to hashnest now ...
FYI Hashnest you just going to ban ALL USA customers from using btc/ltc?

PS
How do you start a thread on hashnest talk forms?
Well, I got a reply to my support ticket about the deposits. Hi, Sorry for the text mistake and we'll correct it soon, actually it means for the whole united states. As a precaution, I sold all my L3 and withdrew, just in case they start not allowing withdrawals either for US customers. I just hope they continue to allow withdrawals since they still have quite a bit to pay me on the Pacmic contract that I bought.

Any online web BTX wallet? or do i have to give up my 10 GB space on hard drive to install windows bitcore wallet?
My data directory is only using 26 MB ATM. If you want to conserve space, you can put this in your conf file I believe. Where n is the number OF MB you want to limit the data storage to. when i first ran the client i was told that it will need 10gb space to download the blockchain of all transactions.what is the location of data directory in windows? c:\user\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\BitCore If you are using the default setting on Windows, the appdata file is hidden. In Windows 10 file explorer under view, just check the hidden items box so you can navigate by clicking.

Hmm, for the black bytes, I read in the OP that black bytes bonus are only received for black bytes held in a linked address. How can I check my balance of black bytes in a linked address? Apologies for all these questions.
You receive no blackbytes for blackbytes held on any address. Nobody knows how many blackbytes you (or anybody else) have. Distribution based on blackbytes balance is not possible. Blackbytes distribution is based on 1. btc balances of linked addresses 2. normal bytes balances in your wallet Actually, the blackbytes are only sent to a linked bytes address. From what I can tell, all one needs to do is say hi to the transition bot and she will tell you what balance you have in the linked account. If you notice you don't have your whole balance in the linked address, you just pick send all of your bytes in the send menu to the linked address.

Is this a pre-ann? The OP for the most part is a jpg, so no links to wallet.
Everything is ready. We are going to post it at the right time soon. Hope a pool will be ready soon after. Don't have a scrypt ASIC, and my AMD 7570 just cannot compete. Need to rent hash at MRR.

How I can Sync my Wallet faster ?
Is there a benefit to running a full node rather than the lite client? Just linked my BTC today and downloaded the lite client, so no need for me to sync.

Yep NC here just glade we can still withdraw, hope you all got your L3's in time Icon I did an experiment and was able to use a free web proxy to get the deposit button to work. (By using a server in the Netherlands.) Kind of dumb how they decided to roll this out by just banning all US origin ip addresses. I didn't actually deposit anything though. If they want my KYC/AML info to make deposits, I guess that I'll comply. (sigh) That would probably be a better way than to ban all US IPs.

Yes, coin control lets you pick what addresses to send from. It lets you get down to the individual "inputs" if you want.
Ah kk, I see that messing around with it now. Thats just brilliant! In the end for the top 1000 addresses its about the total amount in that address correct? I ask because some of my wallets have more 3-7 transactions and I do not want it to be the highest transaction amount that counts but rather the cumulative total of BTX in each account. Yes, it's the total in a particular address. I use the list mode rather than the tree mode and arrange all the inputs by address to get an idea of what addresses have what. The tree mode is all messed up in my wallet. Richlist on Blockexplorer is showing only until position 500, how can you see until position 1000?
You copy your address and paste it into the search field on the block explorer. The result will tell you your rank. Unfortunately. the block explorer doesn't update this statistic every block. The last update was block 12405 which was over 60 blocks ago.
