Hi,
I searched on the topic and didn't find an answer...
I have linked BTC to BYTEBALL airdrop by using the chat bot avec sending SIGNED message. The airdrop is in 7 days. So I have to keep my BTC on the specific address during all the time ? or just at July 9, 2017 at 04:07 UTC ?
The amount present in the linked btc-address(es) by the exact time of airdrop is what will matter. But to be safe, I would suggest to keep the amount in the linked address for 24hrs just to avoid complications.
Proud to have worn the byteball signature before.

Thanks for your replies. So the "510,000BTC linked" is not true because a lot of bitcoin can move before the snapachot ? And if they are linked again after a move that will double the amount officially linked.

They are real - next Fri / Sat / Su-night you will see clearly more BTC there. Even during the strong BTC loss, only ~ 10% were temporarily withdrawn. 90% of the linked BTCs have owner with first-class Hold qualities.

I can't figure out how to link my addresses....
After I message transition bot with my Byteball address, it tells me to either send a microtransaction or a btc address.... When I send my BTC address nothing happens.
Transition bot doesn't respond to anything else other than my Byteball address either. Any help? PM if you know what I should do. Thanks.

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.

i assume he means the bot isn't offering up the message to sign. if he hasn't got any byteball yet maybe it's worth deleting and reinstalling the wallet or perhaps checking the cut and paste in case there are some spaces in there or something.

Byteball's distribution model could be a great topic for a game theory study.

So I'm looking at rewards for this next distribution can you guys check my math here?
I put 5 BTC in byteball wallet, that should generate:
5 x .0625 GB which is 0.0625 X 10^9 bytes?
so i would be airdropped 0.3125 GB or 312,500,000 bytes Correct. but if i convert the BTC into bytes and put bytes in my wallet i get double the bonus Correct. 312,500,000 X 2 bytes or,
625,000,000 bytes? Wrong! You can buy about 15 GBYTE for 5 BTC now. That would get you 20% airdorp, so 3 GBYTE extra. After the airdrop you'll have 18 GBYTE and 0 BTC. Right after the airdrop the price drops a bit again, last month just over 20%. A few weeks later (now) it's up again. It's a gamble, you can do it, you can profit from it, but there's a chance to lose too. Do i get even more for filling my wallet with blackbytes?
No. Read the OP again how it works Thank you Loyce, that and the other guy's explanation made it clear to me. I've been watching byteball for a while and think I may just split it. Buy 2.5 BTC worth of Byteball and just link the rest of my BTC.

How I can Sync my Wallet faster ?
Is there a benefit to running a full node rather than the lite client? Just linked my BTC today and downloaded the lite client, so no need for me to sync.

yes this is very interesting. i regret not knowing about byteball in the very early stages. the distribution is like that old coin CLAM where you get coins based on your BTC, DOGE and LTC wallet holdings. i am saving up some btc for the next distribution. does anyone know the exact time the next snapshot will be taken? thanks and good luck to all participants!

Actually, no. Byteball distribution is way better in that it is based on your holdings and clam was simply a distribution of a set amount for no matter how many coins you had in an address as long as it had more than 0.00000001 So, you could have had effectively nothing in each wallet and scored a large amount of clams. U can not convert from full to light. Move all your bytes from a full to a separated lite client.

is this thing even working ? old version doesn't "catch" browser link. new current version doesn't understand "appdata" from old version. and tries to fully re-sync light wallet with network (maybe i done something wrong with appdata backup) anyway.... -restored appdata backup for old version -used new version inside virtual machine ... created new light wallet there -send money from old (restored version and restored wallet) to new version that have new wallet (transaction got confirmed in like 12 minutes).... but wait.... -new version still have "0" bytes. around 20 minutes passed still 0 for some reason. i'm 100% sure that i used correct address in old version to send bytes to new one. ... still 0

So if my calculation are right we have :
504928.00786310 btc linked which will bring approx. : 31,558 gb
and we have 255,492gb in circulation which will bring : 51,098 gb more after airdrop
So
31,558+51,098= 82,656 new gb added to the one in circulation which in total will bring to 338,148 gb in circulation.
Yes that's 1/3 of all gbytes.
Yes i think in this rate we will have at least 3 more airdrops.
great news on this!
looking forward the airdrop soon! The BTC > GB ratio should be decreased in the august airdrop, imo. Too high price, too many BTC linked.
