And yes, I'm pretty sure I can sell it for higher than I bought. Wink

Scam the scammers - what are they going to do about it?
3384  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB> 1 BTC with PayPal on: July 07, 2013, 09:52:04 AM
And for fuck sake, if one of those spamming "beware of paypal reversible transfer services" people posts as the first reply, I will go insane.

Guys beware, Paypal is reversible.

3385  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB> 1 BTC with PayPal on: July 07, 2013, 09:00:43 AM
You can pay for escrow if you like. And for fuck sake, if one of those spamming "beware of paypal reversible transfer services" people posts as the first reply, I will go insane. Wink

Current BTC price is $68. I will pay $70 PayPal - funded directly with my balance, no credit card or shit. Yeah, I know there's the risk of me charging back, but TBH I don't have any use for this PayPal dosh atm anyway, and I have pretty good faith that I can turn around and flip this BTC for a profit, so I don't need or want to charge back.

PM me or post below. Thanks. Not going to blame you if you tell people to TWC, I'm fully aware that PayPal is risky.
3386  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan me on: July 07, 2013, 08:47:30 AM
Hi. Could I get a loan between 1-12 btc plz send to 16eUCEKpUudU3bwtjgczQtn9BgBe86eZK8

Lol you're fucking joking. "Hi", a sentence and you asking for a range with no reason.

You're just trying to get what you can, lmao this is the laziest scam attempt I have ever seen.
3387  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JUNETEENTH on: July 07, 2013, 08:39:10 AM
Haven't we already established that Juneteenth is a scammer?
3388  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 4th of July "givaway" Scam Investigation on: July 07, 2013, 08:38:46 AM
Today, r3wt has posted in all the threads regarding the scam (acting ironically "appalled" at such an awful atrocity), so he should be considered a potential sock puppet account operated by the 4th of july scammer.

Oh come on, even that's going a little too far.
3389  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 22000 USD SCAM because of Phishing and Bank Transfer Chargeback on: July 07, 2013, 08:36:56 AM
thank you DiamondCardz for putting so much effort on this! As I said, If there is one specific detail telling us anything about his real identity I wont hesitate sending you 1 BTC!

Greetings,
jimmy2k

@jimmy2k - sorry about your loss. I have also lost about USD600++ this week to a scammer : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=85430.msg2650185#msg2650185

Did the scammers email you ?
If yes, then there will be an originating IP address in those emails.

If you do have an email from the scammers, please give us access to the email or post their IP ASAP so we can look it up and attempt to dox the scammer.

I'm awaiting a PM reply from the 4 people I PM'd. Will post if any info comes up, if no info comes up, then we need to go deeper. (no pun intended)
3391  Other / Off-topic / Re: Make Bitcoins on Minecraft - The Bit Mines! on: July 07, 2013, 07:24:54 AM
I'm sorry, but 1 MILLION blocks to get BTC0.01?? I don't think so  Undecided

No. 0.01 BTC = 1,000,000 satoshis. If you're the only one online, you get 50 satoshis per stone block (you get more per block the more people that are online). So, in the absolute worse case scenario of only mining stone and not finding any ores or rare materials, it would be 1,000,000 satoshis/50 satoshis per stone block = 20,000 stone blocks mined or placed.

In sort: worse case scenario + no one online and only mining/placing stone = twenty thousand blocks need to be mined or placed to get 0.01 BTC.

I will attempt to reiterate that the server is not made to simply payout bitcoins to people. It's made to incorporate bitcoins into Minecraft, not turn Minecraft into a bitcoin faucet.

Lol I can play on MinecraftCC and get 50 satoshis per block with none of this "pay to play" crap...and people buy diamonds regularly there too for 0.01btc/stack.

I don't know why TBM is so popular.

It's not a server that pays-out to users for no reason. It's a server where you can:
- earn bitcoins by mining or building productively
- earn bitcoins by selling items and services (helping people with projects)
- use bitcoins for buying items from others
- use bitcoins for hiring people to help you

There's actually a world dedicated to player-to-player shops (using ChestShops). Typically, you get 50 satoshis per block on the server +10 satoshis per person on the server for each block (that means you can get up to 550 satoshis per stone block and up to 1000 satoshis per things like monster spawners), but you get much more for ores and rare materials (while you're in "The Mines"). I've seen diamonds sell for 0.01 BTC per diamond (not stack), but that rarely happens anymore.

As another note, I constantly, personally, pay users for helping me patch bugs on the server and for helping me with other things related to the server. Most of the money currently being paid out to members for mining or building purposefully comes directly from me. We will be holding a bunch of different competitions soon, and we're extremely open to feedback and suggestions from members. Most of what we have now is thanks to our members and their magnificent brains.

Here's a list of claims, and here's an in-depth explanation of how claims work. You might want to have a look at the FAQ.

The last thing I want to address is your "pay to play" statement. It's true that we require members to first purchase a prospecting permit to play. This ensures that we rarely have griefers and lowers the chances of someone joining the server, demolishing a bunch of stuff, getting paid, cashing out, and leaving. I understand that it makes some people unhappy to have to pay for the initial membership, but I assure you that most people make back the membership cost within a few days.

Edit: Thanks, DiamondCardz, for having me write-up some useful information to add to the About page.

Interesting, I might bite. Why are there so many blocks that don't reward you, though?

Edit: Registered on the forums.

Oh, my. My timing is atrocious. I'm currently migrating the server to a more powerful dedicated server. Thanks for registering. I hope to be done soon.

Re: "Why are there so many blocks that don't reward you, though?"
There are many easily exploitable blocks (such as sand and snow), which if we were to pay people to mine, they could easily rip me off very quickly, cash out, and never return. If you think there are blocks on that list that should offer claims but don't - I'm sure there are - please post specifics in the "Official Feedback" thread you can find here.

Alright, please post when you're done so I can buy a permit. Smiley

I've PM'd the following people:

Owner of BTC.sx
Owner of inputs.io
Owner of BTCJam
Owner of PicoStocks

...about the given addresses.

I'm trying to do what I can to help. Smiley
3393  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pishing scammer! legitnick! on: July 06, 2013, 08:58:48 PM
tl;dr

Did http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=legitnick1 (legitnick before he lost his original key) sell his forum account, or is it actually him scamming on his own account? I did a FTF cash trade with him, http://www.linkedin.com/pub/nick-legotte/64/507/92

Obama owns legitnick. He sold his account...or was hacked.
3394  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: acne/macintosh/kodo/Obama on: July 06, 2013, 08:57:26 PM

lol says the person who buys accounts

Buying accounts is not against forum rules at all. I never said it was.

No, Legitnick nor any of the alts who posted on your trust are me. I only sent my rep after seeing that DiamondCardz rep fucked me, wildly accusing me of purchasing legitnicks account (the scammer on independence raffle)  Bullshit. I have never had any contact with these alternate accounts. You are them.

I messaged him and told him I am not related to legitnick he gives me no proof and instead says not only legitnick is my account but also kodo, macintosh and acne. Most of which were created way before i ever registered or even knew about Bitcoin. You backed him up, stating he had given you coins, and that his phishing/hacking links were working for free coins. You're a bad liar.

DiamondCardz is wrong about this and quite frankly has no clue what hes talking about. Bullshit.
3395  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: acne/macintosh/kodo/Obama on: July 06, 2013, 08:56:08 PM
Hmm DiamondCardz been online for half an hour no response yet. Silent when faced with the facts you failed miserably. Now delete your false negative feedback against me.

I was watching my Dad (something you have never had) play The Last of Us, you twat. I have this thing called a life, sometimes I leave my windows open.
3396  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 22000 USD SCAM because of Phishing and Bank Transfer Chargeback on: July 06, 2013, 08:54:06 PM
providing me any concrete information about the identity behind any of the BTC addresses given above!

Alright, I'll try my best to help.

We can see that today, a transaction from address https://blockchain.info/address/1NrrEnKJ5tsgBgSQcPjLKXXo6Q9EGrh4zM was sent.

The transaction hash of this being https://blockchain.info/tx/b862db08c3de4dd86ffdafa74cee00c2db6412ed76826f219928bc4d509e2929

There were 3 input addresses, so it's incredibly likely that these 3 input addresses are all owned by the same person. So we have:

https://blockchain.info/address/1NrrEnKJ5tsgBgSQcPjLKXXo6Q9EGrh4zM
https://blockchain.info/address/18AUfktKwRV1rKDLXvZJnHmF2uurreU6u2
https://blockchain.info/address/1EHPZVsQvHxb65o9CepWdPHEuVnWthSuGK

https://coinbase.com/network/addresses/1NrrEnKJ5tsgBgSQcPjLKXXo6Q9EGrh4zM
https://coinbase.com/network/addresses/18AUfktKwRV1rKDLXvZJnHmF2uurreU6u2
https://coinbase.com/network/addresses/1EHPZVsQvHxb65o9CepWdPHEuVnWthSuGK

We need to turn some stones. Find any services that have encountered these addresses. And more importantly, if they have any good contact info.

I will contact a few services and respond with their replies.

Hope I helped.

3400  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be Cautious of ► ► ► LEALANA PHYSICAL SILVER LITECOINS! on: July 06, 2013, 05:06:18 PM
Do your research before sending a random troll on this forum all your personal information like your name and address. Something you should never do here, something that someone will probably use against you for any reason.

Anyone can have a silver or gold coin stamped with and design or logo, Smoothie just decided to start making them and selling his own name and design at an outrages mark up.

The casasicus Physical BitCoins, are not "original physical BTC" and these "lelena LTC coins" are not original either, because the developers of these coins did not make them, just some random user. Again, you can have your own physical cryptos made, out of any metal, hell make your own physical FTC if you want. You wont be paying as much as this guy wants.

+ You are paying for something with no guarantee your getting anything in return, so if you get scammed its your own damn fault, I have seen more elaborate set-ups from scammers, Do not give anyone on this forum your personal information!

You have 14 activity, you registered in May and most of your posts are bullshit (John K the troll? Bitch please.). Get the fuck out.

Smoothie actually seems serious with this, you realize.
L O L   your kidding right, great, another one of you people. I still find it amazing that somehow you pizza faced kids sitting in your mothers basement with a raw dick from jerking it everyday to computer porn, still think that intelligence is somehow related or based on your "activity" number, or register date on a forum, LOL, thanks for the laugh.

You just made yourself look like the world's biggest dickhead. Lmfao.
