342  Economy / Economics / Re: After Nine Bitcoin ETF Rejections! What is the Solution to Mainstream Adoption? on: September 14, 2018, 10:58:33 PM
Recently I really got interested in cryptocurrency, so I have been reading a lot and started following blockchain related news and projects. What really caught my attention is the SEC rejection of nine ETF applications. I think this is in a bid to usher in mainstream adoption, but many argue that it's a problem of regulation, and others are saying the price instability of cryptocurrencies is hindering mainstream adoption. what is the solution to mainstream crypto adoption?

Mainstream crypto adoption? Transparency and regulation. That is it. Nobody would want a business which is gaining anything from terrorists and the like. One of the cons of crypto imo is its transparency. Nobody knows who you are in the blockchain. But they know you are there.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: GORGONA – investment Smart Contract (3% daily for life!) on: September 14, 2018, 09:42:18 PM
3% daily for a lifetime? Now that is great. But how can you be so sure you can do that 3% for all of your users? May I ask? Thank you very much! I am a noob for this kind of things and I would really like to learn but Google would not find ways for me to learn at least the basics.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic of traders on: September 12, 2018, 08:41:47 PM
Every day I see more and more people starting to feel hopeless with the current market situation because of uncertainty when prices will recover and end this fall. Even more and more traders are deciding to resign from trading and sell all of their assets but that makes the price even more falling.

You cannot blame me or others who are panic selling. It will be really reliable to at least have something to assure the people that at the very least their money won't go zero right now but nobody is gonna do that and you are responsible for your own investments. At the same time last year, this year is worse. you can compare it yourself. Is this really ETH demise following Vitalik Buterin's statements of changing growth? What an ass.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Matters on: September 12, 2018, 03:57:46 PM
Isn't it interesting that those who pontificate that "Money is not everything" usually have money?

Be broke for a few weeks unable to pay your bills, pay rent and afford basic necessities, and then let's see if you'd still hold the same position about money.

Let us be sincere and stop fooling around; MONEY IS SOMETHING! A very huge something!! At least in this present world. Might not be a big deal in another world. But in this world? Save me the sermon.

Without money in this world, rarely does anything get done. In fact, many things suffer needlessly without money. Even the Bible is flat-out frank enough to recognize the fact that money answers all things in the context of this present world. It doesn't say money is "the answer to all things" but it answers all things.

So please, before you sermonize me that money is not everything or that money is no big deal, credit my blockchain address with one thousand units of Bitcoin and forget about it. Then I'd believe you. In fact, I'd sing it along with you...money ain't nothing!

We all know how important money is. You use it for food and different expenses, so how do you really shut this people that say that > MONEY ISN'T EVERYTHING. GET OVER IT<. You answer with an argument, well when do you have no money? If they answered never, then you can tell them to shut it. It is as simple as that. They will never know our struggles. They won't because just like the church who has a lot of money to give to the poor to help them, they won't help them because THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED TO. And that is how the wealth of the world is inevitably shared wrong.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 11, 2018, 10:02:56 PM
If you believe ETH will come back again, then hold. If not, learn how to trade. This is one of my regrets when I entered cryptocurrency. I did not learn how to trade myself. That is what makes it a break or a cake. Every people just wants free money and gains while the wisest ones use that opportunity to learn. I think holding ETH now is a mess. Try other cryptocurrency instead but do not take it from me. DYOR is still the best.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: Exchange market data manipulation bringing the whole crypto market down? on: September 11, 2018, 10:00:40 PM
We can't really hold true of anything the market has going through up until now. Why do I say that? Many people are so into pumps and dumps, news agencies spreading quotes by many rich people like Elon Musk and the likes, how the CEO of this company says crypto is dumb and people are all going panicky about these. Why are we so easily swayed by this? Why do we keep being involved in this? If you think you can get rich by holding certain crypto then do it. In this world, you have no one to trust but yourself. The market is down because of many reasons and people are swayed by it. That is why the market is down.
348  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: MOST COMMON QUESTIONS [FILIPINO GUIDE] on: September 10, 2018, 07:20:09 PM

349  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising USD prices on: September 06, 2018, 11:29:53 PM
In the last few days, I looked at the exchange rate and saw an increase in USD in any currency so that some countries experienced inflation and crisis. I don't understand why USD can rise so high? Does this also affect the decline in the crypto market?  Huh Huh

USD going strong does not mean inflation.

Inflation is something internal to an economy, and essentially means a rise in prices due to the debasement of currency or easy credit. However, USD rising in relation to that particular currency doesn't necessarily mean that prices in that country is all of a sudden going to soar. Only imports from the US will increase in price, and that is only a small proportion of the goods on the market.

Nor does it mean "crisis", unless you're the one actively trading USD and holding a long position on it, because some countries actually actively devaluing their currency to be more competitive.

Good sir, you do know that most 3rd world currencies are backed by USD and not GOLD right? So if you think that USD going strong does not mean inflation and it does not mean anything to a country's economy, you are wrong. Considering the world economy, we will be seeing more how USD get stronger and other world currency to go down. And that thing is really really bad.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is not a very prosperous year for cryptocurrency on: September 06, 2018, 10:47:30 PM
It has indeed become a bloodbath here in crypto. Many people are leaving it now especially those who invested late and those who invested in altcoins such as ETH and its tokens. It is just so sad how you can accumulate more than 200% of losses in less than a year although we all know how volatile this market is. It is just sickening that this is happening right now. I just hope we can see some changes in October. Nobody's gonna take it less than what it is now.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can decrease economic development on: September 06, 2018, 12:49:45 AM
Do you mean the economic development of each country? I think it will help the 3rd countries but most 1st countries will be totally against it just look at China and USA has some kind of restrictions against crypto and Bitcoin itself; and sadly for 2018 the price of Bitcoin has gone down so far that I think we will not see any big bull run even when the year ends. It's saddening how these powers can make something move so slow and if Bitcoin is slowed down, the same goes for everything in crypto.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: share some trading strats on: September 06, 2018, 12:41:44 AM
You can always go to youtube, join telegram groups near your place (of course language barriers) and I think many articles on the internet are here to teach you some good trading strategy to choose from. But always remember to do your research first before doing it or you will be earning losses if you can't do it right. Smiley Keep that in mind. Smiley
353  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit abused on: September 06, 2018, 12:27:05 AM
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this real Satoshi twitter handle? on: September 05, 2018, 09:06:58 AM
I found this twitter handle a few months ago
Code:
https://twitter.com/satoshi

which claims to be own by the founder "Satoshi Nakamoto" and I've been following it ever since.

What you are your thoughts... I know there are lots of "Faketoshi(s)" out there Grin

Just looked at the Joined Date, and why would Satoshi suddenly shows after so many years of "hiding". So its obviously fake and no matter how many times we dig into Satoshi, the more we won't find him.

I think that's right because I just made this twitter 2018 done so many people would like to take a bit because the whole bitcoin if satoshi nakamoto create bitcoin.

See what a little bit of research reveals if a person is real or not. That goes to show how people here will expose scams like it was throwing baseballs into a pitcher who would miss batting it. I believe that until the last bitcoin is mined, we will never see even a shadow of this Satoshi Nakamoto guy. Like never ever. He will forever be just a personality behind the whitepaper of bitcoin and no one will ever see how he looks at everyone. He may be laughing right now, or he may be just sitting drinking some tea. Nobody knows.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AIRDROP] 6,000,000 STQ for your vote! :) on: September 05, 2018, 08:59:09 AM
You guys are really looking good with these listings. But what about the value your tokens offer? I am always hearing you guys are airdropping every now and then for listing or whatever contest. Are your investors good? Is the price of the token currently okay to satisfy their questioning mind? Anyways best of luck to the airdrop. I would like to participate but I will pass this time. Keep up the good work!
356  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Katas ng Crypto on: September 05, 2018, 08:54:59 AM
Smiley
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Deflation and Its' problems on: September 04, 2018, 04:40:45 AM
It really sounds bad when I hear/read the word deflation especially if it's referring to Bitcoin's price. Most of the time, the people who were most affected by the deflation Bitcoin is going thru are those altcoin holders. You see it isn't much good when they mention this kind of issues but it ensues Fear Doubt and Uncertainty to everyone. And here we are facing the Mt. Gox settling case. Will we be seeing another dip then a bull run or a very bad ending for this year?
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH mining: Seeking guide in English language on: September 04, 2018, 04:27:48 AM
I think you can look it into this guide! It's really super helpful and you can also find other guides in there with other cryptocurrencies, all for free thanks to BitDegree!
https://www.bitdegree.org/tutorials/ethereum-mining/

They have some exchanges guides as well. You would want to look into new profitable coins worth mining. Goodluck mate!
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Believes Ethereum is a Scam, No ETH Giveaways on: September 04, 2018, 04:22:17 AM
Even greater people than Elon Musk said not to trust anything that is in crypto space. Just look at how its creator, Vitalik Buterin is somehow warning every people that are in the hype/bandwagon. They would rather tell people to stay away than let people invest then cry about it if they have losses. So I think this is one of the great things about how many people are using the FUD to push down every other coin's price. DEAL WITH IT OR GOT WITH THE FLOW IS THE KEY.
360  Other / Archival / Re: XXXX on: August 25, 2018, 12:16:39 PM
They are currently having a trouble with the signature campaign right now because they said on telegram that the Signature Manager ( iamsedii ) already ran away and they can't contact him anymore. But currently they are working to pay all those participants and maybe there's no more week 2 not until they have a new campaign manager.

On the PM lighpulsar07_alt told me that the guy stole 39ETH from them. That's sad. I wonder how he was trusted with 39EHT upfront?

... iamsedi who handled the campaign stole 39 eth from us

But that at least they should prove the guy iamsedii has indeed stole them 39ETH because these people can't just take your word and expect them to believe what these ICOforums admin said. And also does it meant hat those Full Member, Sr. Hero and legendary aren't going to be paid because of this sedii? ICOforums has to be liable for trusting someone who has no credibility and they had been warned several times in their thread.

They just started to pay full members and up, if you will check creeps reply, he just got the payment for the bounty sig, and as per response of yahoo he will take over only once the payments have been cleared for the bounty signature.

He indeed stole that 39 ETH and closed off all his social media accounts. Smiley Thank you iamsediii for ruining your fellow countrymen's REPUTATION MORE HERE. Smiley I hope you die a peaceful death after stealing 39 ETH you DID NOT WORK FOR.

WALLET HERE> https://etherscan.io/address/0xba0d86e83ada8e9faeaf3c0d14f210654739a6c7

HE HASN'T MOVED ANYTHING YET BECAUSE HE'S AFRAID HE WILL BE TRACED FOR STEALING OTHER PEOPLE'S FUND. STUPID IDIOT.
