Thank you all for your contribution.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who else has got this experience? on: May 18, 2023, 04:20:26 PM
Just today after refreshing my wallet since waiting for a pending btc transaction to be confirmed since two weeks when the issue of high btc fees started, I was surprised after the wallet updated, the coin dropped like a pack of card  Grin

This includes the coin that I already sent out but pending from being processed in mempool. This is my surprise  Grin

Who else has got this experience?

343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: May 18, 2023, 02:52:26 PM

The scenario poured coldness in my mind but again let me know that bitcoin behaves like an asset and asset has the time to buy and sell not the way I thought it will always be be buying.

Never regret to invest or feel left out because there is always another opportunity to invest with you wait for a DCA. Before investing DYOR and confirm to your conscience, emotion and indicators. Yes there is buying time and selling time if you have the eyes to determine them through your lens of indicators but for now, more investors are coming in to hodl for halving, so it depends on what you want to do.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The biggest No while trading on: May 17, 2023, 04:19:44 PM
Yeah, but i will priority my emotions when trading, it's the thing i can't remove when im trading, mostly when it comes to disappointments.

It takes an experienced trader to keep emotions in order while trading because chances are that the pump and volatility will affect your decision most times. This is especially when you don't trade with stop loss. Price drop and rise also plays a fast one on you and the adjustment starts to happen and then the pressure is the next thing. You can't really control pressure in trading when you are running out of funds.
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wrong Predictions as price keep failing! on: May 17, 2023, 02:21:57 PM
Predictions are of course a difficult thing, as investors we must have a profit target, if we invest in bitcoin then hold for at least a year then the opportunity for 100% profit can occur, don't panic easily because our predictions are wrong, as long as we can be patient then we can be successful and profitable in cryptocurrencies.

100% profit on investment is also as difficult as making accurate prediction. The best is to invest wisely and set an unrealistic target so that it doesn't dash your hope for profit taking. If greed is taking care of in the instance of investment then profit margin will be reached on time but many investors keep readjusting their target when they were supposed to go off.
346  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are we expecting from now until Bitcoin halving? on: May 17, 2023, 12:35:37 PM
Just wondering how everyone feels the next 11 months will go until the Bitcoin halving?

Like you said you have been expecting your first bull run, that is what it is for more people. For hodlers who are interested to increase what they have I believe they are all saving up and hodling for the next months to come. The price has been dropping and now trading at $26k while the ATH is $64k, so if you can catch the difference of $64k - $26k which is $38k. That can stand as an investor's profit by the time price reach the ATH and that is a good investment if the risk is taken by this time. And if the price drops more from what it is currently selling on now, that is more profit. Investing now and hodling for the next bull run through DCA is definitely going to profit someone that takes the chance.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning online more preferable than offline? on: May 16, 2023, 06:03:41 PM
I strongly advise anyone who is going through a terrible time in their life to learn to trade since it provides them a clear sense of purpose other than waiting for jobs. So, which is better, online or offline?

I don't quite agree with this idea for someone in a terrible state to run into trading as a rescue or solution. No to such because what do you expect to happen when you trade without the right emotions and someone going through terrible times obviously won't have a balance state of mind. So it is better for such people to heal before going into trade

To have the assumption that trading is a sure means to financial breakthrough is wrong and that will lead to repeated loses. Have another job if possible while combining with trade because no continuous profit, you lose and you win.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot trading or future trading which trading is best for beginers? on: May 16, 2023, 12:55:52 PM
My advise is for newbie to start with spot trading. The simple reason apart from the technicalities of trading both spot or futures, Spot trading is simple and better understood by most traders as buying or selling of currency, cryptocurrency or other commodities and so this will be easier for a newbie to get help in explaining to him or her challenges they are going through and not like futures that only few understand it. It is better to start from a simple process and graduate into a more complex process. While start what you won't have easy access to help?
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 14, 2023, 05:40:42 PM

can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investors patience?

Yes I can say yes to that but based on if the bounty is not a shit project. There are things to consider which is the: Token future The token is the center of the investment or patience and if it doesn't have a use purpose it future will not be worth it therefore becoming a waste of time hodling it and this includes the exchange where it will be listed. In the past, some members have benefited from their patience of doing bounty so it depends how the token perform at the long run but I still advise to buy direct from exchange and hodl in your wallet. Bounty is a risk and direct investment is also a risk. IMO direct investment is preferred.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: May 14, 2023, 03:44:47 PM

I realise when the bull market takes off will also be dependant on price action, for example if there is another black swan event at the start of 2024 then this could result in a delay like in 2020. But otherwise do you generally the bull market will start before or after the halving, or otherwise more or less immediately after the halving, and do you think there will be any other relevant factors other than the halving?

Interested to hear your thoughts...

Generally I think there is nothing up the sleeve for now until halving except Elon musk pulls up something  Grin. That is by the way but talking with my experience on bitcoin bull run, it is usually after the halving has happened but not immediately. This begins to happen few months afterwards although sometimes there is price action because of volatility at the time close to halving as a result of uncertainty in the market. This is what happened during the time before the 2016 halving, the price continued to be unstable with more volatility on the price increase before the halving eventually took price to around $21,000 in December 2017.
351  Economy / Economics / Re: The thin line between contentment & living below potential, Patience & wasting t on: May 14, 2023, 01:18:09 PM
There is a thin line between being contented and living below your potential, this is what I have come to notice with some people around me who should be doing better financially than they are but because they claim to be contended they have refused to do more.

Some people are different from others. Not everyone will be insatiable in life so they may stop at the level that they feel contented not to keep aiming for huge finance. Some people may see wealth and riches as vanity and not bother anymore for greater financial height to the surprise of others.

How can we know that we are not wasting our time doing a business?

When you are making profit and satisfied with it, this is a good indication that you are not wasting your time in the business. Business is about profit and you have to be able to take care of yourself family with it before proclaiming the business as not a waste of time.
352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I accumulate bitcoin as a newbie? on: May 13, 2023, 10:11:13 PM
Where do I buy bitcoin with easy exchange without scams?
.

For the question you ask about exchange, I think CMC will be fine for you so that you can have enough exchange to select for yourself. Usually many users here have to open binance exchange, however it is a centralized exchange and I'm not putting binance forward for you, DYOR and see what you want for yourself.

353  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 13, 2023, 04:34:14 PM

Regardless, I encourage all the projects to run pay-per-post but it's not on me all the time. The same applies to all the other campaign managers too, maybe.

I think there is a positive side to this regards to pay-pay-post system for participants because some week may be different from other week in the life and activities of the poster especially health issues. If a participants is running under campaign with maximum post per week (maybe 25 ) and he or see is not able to complete the post for that week because of being hospitalised and stopping at 20, they get denied of the weekly payment. I think this is a disadvantage of maximum post against a participant.
354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's nice to be back here. on: May 13, 2023, 01:48:34 PM

Two weeks ago I saw my friend on Facebook posting such luxury and cars he already has and I know that person is into cryptocurrency so I know that he got all those things because of cryptocurrency that inspires me now to continue my crypto journey and I will start it with this forum as I know I can have a lot of lessons and advice here.

It is nice you already know that he is living a good life because of his effort in cryptocurrency and not scam like other people who don't know him will think. You can get back to your fit if you start doing the right thing.

I just realized how risky cryptocurrency is, especially for those people who have not yet have good knowledge about it, I've learned from my mistakes last year and j am now here exploring again and will be careful this time.

Welcome back. One of the advise is that you already know the mistakes that you have done so avoid repeating such moves because it will eventually lead you to another loses. You never do the same thing and expect different result. Therefore you have to move away from what you were doing previously and try new strategy, the previous strategy was bad and no need trying what was not profiting . You can link up to your friend and get some guide from him.
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding the Basics of Trading in the Cryptocurrency Market on: May 12, 2023, 10:14:39 PM

1. Understand the Market: Before you begin buying and selling in the cryptocurrency market, it's far essential to have a primary information of how the marketplace works. You must studies and preserve up to date with the modern day information and developments in the market. This will help you're making informed selections about whilst to buy and promote.

This point is very advisory to newbies because they believe after opening account with either binance or other exchange then the next step is to hit the ground running by making different orders for profit sake and most times regret it. So to study the market is very well is important to run away from future challenges. Being prepared for the trade is far important than going in for the profit.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: May 12, 2023, 06:22:22 PM

Is better to use small money or learn risk management first before investing especially newbies.

Apart from this let your investment money not be from loan or borrowed to avoid pressure to repay. Newbies have to understand that some investment will never give you profit no matter how long they stay especially if you investment is on shit coin. Don't rely on what you are told before investing but to make adequate research, asking questions here because some members are well knowledgeable in crypto investment.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: High tx fee has historically marked the sell-off. Is this time different?? on: May 12, 2023, 05:11:15 PM
I'm tempted to say that the time is different with what happened in the past and now with the high fees and the number of bitcoin active enthusiast and the number of altcoins and stablecoins that can stand in the gap for bitcoin and hodl price above $20,000 but again I'm looking at another bitcoin season, the season of halving and the year preciding halving. Just thinking about what it is  Grin
358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Importants of PSYCHOLOGY in a trader on: May 12, 2023, 01:29:32 PM

*STAY FLEXIBLE÷ It's very important for trader to remain flexible and consider experimenting from time to time. one of the best ways a trader can learn is by experimenting ( within reason ). The experience may also help reduce emotion influence. This period assessment can help us the trader to correct our mistakes and change our bad habits for trading.

I believe this is kind of related to a trader tasting his strategy from time to time doing demo trading. In trading, you don't experiment with live account because anything can happen while you try to adjust parameters of and on. So advise using a demo account is good for experiment before getting back to trading live. Experimenting itself is very good for a trader because it helps to be flexible and understanding better ways to trade even in most difficult times and volatility.

Do you know that some people are good traders but they continue losing because of greed.

This is right and the reason is greed and abandoning the proper thing. Some professional traders sometimes avoid using stop loss in an order because they are over confident that trade will go there way but they ended up blowing out there account.

359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption for Bitcoin Advances amidst High Network Fee on: May 11, 2023, 12:30:13 PM

Just as the Bitcoin network experiences similar network traffic and congestion from 2017 to 2018 this will still happen shortly so the best option right now is to look away from spending Bitcoin until miners can fix the network problems by increasing the hash rate to get the transaction confirmed asap and decongest the network to ease the troubles facing them right now.

How soon will the hash rate be fasten up is the challenge. Back then in 2021 or 2017, I can't say if it took this long because even at this moment close to three weeks the problem is still there and miners are relying on transaction accelerated. The mempool is still congested and I know more people taking different route for transaction which kind of discomfort users.
360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures trading and spots trading explained briefly on: May 11, 2023, 10:27:57 AM
I've seen lots of people leave a trade like this in a few minutes but waste their money. well it's terrible if they don't put stop loss.

If you see a trader that is not using stop loss, you should know it is a bigger risk already taken because the account is waiting to be blown off at a larger volatility wave depending on the account size. Whether spots trading or futures, using stop loss is advanced.  Most losses recorded is because of that reason, it takes a strong emotion to stop a losing market manually but if you have already set a stop loss, it will be easily understood as risk appetite taken for the trade.
