341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize scam on: January 26, 2018, 07:35:47 AM
actually your explanation is enough to explain the scam project, an ico project does require a lot of funds, but we do not get caught in a scam project, we must know the background of their team, and the roadmap is also clear, if we want to invest in their project offer
342  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: January 25, 2018, 05:03:59 AM
For those who argue that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the next big things, buying and investing in Bitcoin might just pay off. Bitcoin might excel if currencies like the dollar et al trips under a hyperinflation scenario but that for now is not visibly an option that is available, thus, another fundamental question is wether Bitcoin can replace normal currencies and that again is not feasible in the nearest future. Why then should people invest in or buy a currency that can rise or fall by 20 percent in an hour or two?

investors prefer bitcoin over others because they see bitcoin having a good future as a digital currency if it is invested, but bitcoin is one of the most expensive digital currencies, one of which is without any interference from any country in determining its value, and bitcoin is also supported with good and transparent security technology
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the downfall of bitcoin? on: January 23, 2018, 11:17:11 PM
i don't think so. bitcoin will improve the speed of the transaction and it will become more popular in the world.

yes I agree with you and I also think that the year 2018 is the year the currency crypto to become more popular, because from time to time the bitcoin currency is higher value and it is a sign that the currency is increasingly in demand by people throughout the country
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the time to invest in bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 01:02:41 PM
Hi guys,

A friend of mine told me this was a good time to start invest in Bitcoins because he believes Bitcoin wil grow up to 30/40k $ this year. Now I have the question is he telling the truth? Is this the time to invest? And how much money should you invest to get maximum profit.

bitcoin has the value or trust of many people, so if your friend tells you to invest in bitcoin now, that is the right decision because together bitcoin success is in front of your eyes, and how much should you invest, adjust to the budget you have
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: January 21, 2018, 10:59:35 PM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?

in the field of currency crypto or digital currency bitcoin is currently the best and reliable currency to invest or transact, bitcoin into the strongest currency because the value or price can not be influenced by government policies of any country
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin rising on: January 20, 2018, 11:44:10 AM
After the huge fall of bitcoin from sky high peak to low our bitcoin has started pumping again it went below $10k but now it is upto 12450$ and will rise more it is the time to invest in BTC to get huge amount of profit

yes i hope this is good news, and this is an advantage that we will get in bitcoin, because i am sure bitcoin price will go up more than now, investing in bitcoin crypto currency very promising to be successful
347  Economy / Economics / Re: Is market cap really something that matters in a coins value? Because... on: January 19, 2018, 10:58:04 PM
Hello,

Ok so, everytime you take a look at a coin's price prediction with a google search, like for instance Cardano, you always have the hopeful heard that says "10$ by the end of 2018!" if not more, while some more rational people will say it's not possible, 2$ max, because with the supply of coins (which is 25 billion for ada according to cmc), a 10$ share would mean a 250 billion market cap.

So in essence, rationally, you can sort of predict a coins price by simply looking at coin supply and doing basic math.

Yet, it is a known fact that Ethereum for instance has no coin limit. Although there are not as many coins as Ada (about 100 million to round it up), people are today still ready to pay up to 1400$ a coin, which means an MC of 140 billion USD not a week ago. I'm pretty sure that 1400$ is still the lower/middle end of what 1 ETH will be valued at some point. Heck, it was barely worth 7$ a year ago, and I bet you people were saying the same thing back then "1000$ not possible".

Same thing with the global market cap, what were people saying 3-4 years ago? I bet a trillion market cap seemed pretty impossible.

History repeats itself. People are not rational when it comes to cryptos and we are still in what you could call early stages. It's only been what, a few months now that Bitcoin has gathered interest from the masses. What's your impression? Is marketcap really an indicator? Because when you take a look at Cardano, it looks like a waaay better version of ETH. And as much as I like Ethereum, it's starting to show it's weaknesses and I feel the roadmap and general news about the coin don't make up for the price of 1400$.

So yeah, just curious to see what other's think.

Cheers

I think there is no connection between altcoin prices and the market, which is the rise and fall of altcoin is the company's success in attracting investors for investment in the company, the market only determines the amount of volume in the market
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 19, 2018, 06:00:33 AM

with the news will affect bitcoin users in Indonesia, but not for bitcoin users abroad, I think this is just a news from a group of people who do not benefit from bitcoin
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC? on: January 18, 2018, 03:27:44 PM
Bitcoin prices have risen so dramatically lately.

In this situation, I expect to be able to purchase a bit coin, and I think the price will drop soon.

now is a good moment to buy bitcoin or altcoin, because now the market value of crypto is experiencing a decline in price, if you as a trader will certainly take advantage of this situation to benefit

351  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold Prices on: January 06, 2018, 01:25:37 PM
The last time I did this analysis, gold was a thousand times more expensive than Bitcoin, if we compare the same proportions of total supply.  By now, Bitcoin has risen 30-fold, and so gold is only 30 times more expensive.

Of course, I was roundly dismissed for speculating Bitcoin could get anywhere near a six-figure price in dollars.  If I was criticized for being too bullish on Bitcoin, today I might be seen as too bullish on gold.

How to answer the question -- where to from here?  As I wrote recently, gold is objectively a better money for securing savers' freedom from governments and central banks.  So, if the long-term price ratio is 10 to 1 in favor of gold, Bitcoin can still go up 3 times.  It'd still be a great return by the standards of any asset, but Bitcoin is not quite as compelling as it used to be.

Especially, many early owners of Bitcoin, now flush with capital, who are also sympathetic to gold, might decide to sell some Bitcoin and buy gold at these prices.

We have to be careful here.  This entire analysis was based on the (pretty common) assumption that governments and central banks have nothing to do with gold and Bitcoin prices, and that the future of Bitcoin is to be another limited-supply monetary asset like gold, but at an appropriate relative price.  (The reality, at least with gold prices, is of course the opposite.)

So, the real question is what the Western elites want (and what China and Russia want, if they're able to counter the West in the field of monetary engineering.)  If Western debt levels and resulting economic/social/political problems are so bad that the elites have decided to use cryptocurrency to effect a reset of the entire system, to effectively wipe out their debt and start afresh, as just after World War II, then the sky is the limit for Bitcoin and cryptos.

If, on the other hand, the Western elites are only preparing for such a reset by taking advantage of cheap crypto prices so far, then we have to watch the relative price to gold.  The rise of Bitcoin, so far, is consistent with this scenario too.  From here on, our thinking might have to change.

For the answer to that question, watch the news closely for the signs!

if gold or bitcoin, for the short term fast profit earned bitcoin but in use trading not in save
if for the long term yes gold can be used for jewelry and liquid of liquid every time it takes will quickly liquid it and small pieces if the price rise sduah certainly come up
but if for a good investment, ANTAM gold is not gold jewelry

353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The purpose of Bitcoin on: January 06, 2018, 12:43:22 PM
I was just reading this article in this months The Spectator https://www.spectator.co.uk/2018/01/why-cryptocurrencies-are-the-answer/ and there it was in the last sentence of the first paragraph:

Quote
The craze for cryptocurrency can be explained by a host of factors: the allure of getting rich quick; the attraction of off-the-grid accountancy for malefactors like tax evaders and drug dealers (though Bitcoin is traceable); the glamour of the new. Despite blockchain currencies’ wild volatility thus far, I’d still posit that the more underlying attraction is to a reliable store of value. Bitcoin investors may not recognise their motivation as such, but the impulse behind computer-generated currency is revolutionary: to take the production and control of money away from government.

This was exactly the motivation I had had back in 2012 when I first became involved, but it is far too easy to lose sight of that over time. This is about taking back control of money from those that have devalued it so recklessly over the last century. As the article goes on to point out both the US Dollar and the Britsh Pound are now worth 1/100th of what they were 100 years ago.
I find it interesting and unusual that a mainstream publication like The Spectator actually gets what this is all about.

which became one of the bitcoin goals to make it easy for trading to make easy online transactions and no government regulations restricting their engagement.

356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: January 06, 2018, 09:30:34 AM
When will the youtube and other websites start to pay us with bitcoin?

not in the near future, but it still takes more time that the plan could happen youtube or another billboard pay us with bitcoin, but i'm sure it will happen because bitcoin is safer and easier in digital payment
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit 20.000$ ? what do you think guys ? on: January 06, 2018, 01:15:06 AM
Bitcoin will hit 20.000$ Huh what do you think guys ?

for bitcoin to reach $ 20,000 is still a very long time, because today many altcoin are competitors of bitcoin, bitcoin is a digital currency that has the potential as the best investment today, but not for 5 or 10 years
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: January 06, 2018, 12:03:49 AM
Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

most ICOs are legit, ICO being a scam because their program or project is failing in promotion because no investor wants to invest one of them, so they stop midway. to choose a good ICO learn their mission vision

360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE is starting to climb!!! on: January 05, 2018, 11:22:04 PM
DOGE has been steadily climbing since yesterday and might blow up any second. If the trend continues this will be the next TRON/XRP in terms of growth potential.

Get your buys in now before it’s too late!

doge to be $ 2 takes a long time maybe next 2 years doge value can reach $ 2, must be patient to reach the expected value for doge holder
