Also interested in Bitmain S1/S2. Broken or functional. Prefer US sellers due to shipping costs and time.

Like this: Temp is monitored by fan controller. Nice and quiet.

At one site I have two tubes running "broken down". What I did is detach the hashing modules from each other and install standoffs on the board side. They sit flat. Then I attached one 120mm fan to each one. They stay at about 40c and 99.5% of expected performance. Also super quiet as the fans are running off of 5vdc! The disadvantage is they take up more space this way.

I am certainly going to buy a prisma. I am trying to decide which group buy to go with, this one or Canary's. What is the deciding factor for me is when I will receive it.
When, if I order today (10.23.2014), do you estimate I would receive it? Would it still be within October?
Thanks!

Still looking for broken miners. Not necessarily old ones. Thanks for the offers but if it is older than 55nm, I am not interested at this time.

Can we get a list of pending orders, so we know where we would be on the list and which have already shipped? I'm trying to get an ETA of when I will receive it if I order. Thanks.
This would be very helpful. I am on the fence as to order from canary or crazyguy. Knowing when I might be able to get my hands on one of these would be a HUGE deciding factor.

Also looking for other non-working ASICS. PM or post here with what you have/wanted price.
Prefer later stuff like KNC/ Bitfury /40nM Asicminer / Antminer or scrypt ASICS.

I've been getting a lot of stales lately, has anyone had this issue?
My miners are pointed to the US but I seem to be redirected to the uk1. I remember someone mentioning before you can change to port so this won't happen but I can't seem to find which port that is.
Try: stratum+tcp://us1.ghash.io:3334 Thanks, I will give a try. How has your experience with port 3334, better? Much lower stales, and hash speeds up by a small amount (5%). Also no more "different server every day" going on.

If mining is to be considered a hobby, at least it does give something back or in some cases make you extra money. I was a tuner/weekend drag racer for a number of years and MAN that hobby will seriously drain you bank account! With this, I get to tinker with hardware and make it perform at it's peak capability without the speeding tickets. Anyone here ever spent $3000 dollars on a engine part? Absolutely no ROI!

I have the newest version of Bfgminer acting as a proxy. To get it working, after I compiled it I had copy ALL of the contents of the original directory (/opt/bfgminer/) to:
/var/www/minera/minera-bin and I started working. Before When I just copied the binary, I got an error referencing some missing libray files.
Hope this helps!

Looks like you have old firmware, type in: 192.168.1.223:8000/Flashmega to update it. Current version is 1.41 or 1.53
Everything is good on my setup, I'm always scared to upgrade, what exactly has been improved going from 1.41 or 1.53. Any efficiency or notable performance improvements? 1.53 is what will show if you select the "smart" option in settings. By default, it is set to "normal" which is F/W 1.41. Normal=0 smart=1 Smart seems to keep the error rate lower, from what I can tell.

I have been, over the past few days adding GH to the proxy I have using Minera/Bfg. I noticed that when it passed about 2Th, the device tree total started displaying
0Kh all of the time. when the page refreshes it will show the rate for a moment, and than go to zero. Strange. All of the devices under the total show the correct
amounts. Total hashrate handled by the proxy is now about 3.4Th.

Check your cooling and power. These tubes are VERY sensitive to this. in my opinion one fan is insufficient. Also try 260Mhz. Can actually be faster that 270 if you have iffy
chips.
These tubes need a solid 225-250w of clean power per board to be trouble free.
|
|
|
Maybe. I know I had some chips the "misbehaved" until I updated. Can't hurt. Check the frequency also. One of my tubes had a blade that chips would disappear on.
Had to clock that one at 260 to get all of them working. And keep it super cool (2 fans).

I have noticed that there are a considerable number of orphaned BTC blocks in the last 48 hours. I haven't really payed attention to it before but is this normal?
I am beginning to feel as if their servers are overloaded. My miners are getting bounced around to three different servers even though I have specified us1.ghash.io. This results in higher stales. I do not know if the two are connected but it would be logical. I'm having similar issues. Default is set to US1, but all of my workers get bounced around the different connections. Is this going to stabilize or are we just stuck with random connections? Use port 3334. Solid connection to US servers this way. Don't know why this is not indicated on their website. I have been using us1.ghash.io: 3334 for the past 4 days and stales are a lot lower.
