Only newbie members in this thread what's going on lol...  Promotional? I don't know but the idea itself seems like a good one. My main concern would be are you allowed to operate internationally or you restricted to the EU lets say? We are not restricted to the EU, we will be available globally. If your country has a restriction against paying with crypto in a particular location, simply buy a gift card with your crypto through the platform (anonymously) and then you can use that gift card no matter what. Who will tell what games will be on the developer platform? Will he have only his own games or will there be other producers?
It was mentioned only that the first games that will be on this platform they will be on mobile devices, and whether they have partners or sponsors of this no one knows. Yes, it is, only the first will be on mobile devices, and then development on computers is possible. I don't understand going for mobile first seens most of gaming is done on PC's and consoles. Aiming on the mobile devices will be a better plan to achieve success at the initial level because comparing to a desktop version most of us carry mobiles every where and easy to play a game even at a restaurant with mobile device. There's a boom in mobile gaming that we haven't seen on other platforms in a while, they are more attainable and don't take much of your time (you can play them on the road, outside, in class, whatever) so it's completely logical BitGuild want's a piece of that pie. |

This might be off-topic, but since this is a gaming platform I might as well ask it here. I am paning to buy PS VR and wonder if anybody has any coments on the current state of VR games. Also, will this platform support VR from the get-go?
I cannot comment on the PS VR as I have never tried it nor do I own it, however from the videos I have seen it does look like great fun! From my understanding only the newer PS4's support the VR right? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. We are actually speaking to a few studios that have produced indie VR games, so it is something we intend on doing. However, it won't be supported straight away. It is in the pipeline however and they will be supported soon. ~ Jake Ashby, COO TriForce Tokens VR is good but still not developed enough in my opinion. I think the world is definitely missing more original content for VR and some additional tweaks could always be a good perk. Since TriForce will focus more on mobile gaming market(atleast for beginning,from what i understood),does VR makes much sense?I mean VR games. To answer Jakes question, I believe you can run it on a regular PS4 as nothing speciall has been noted on their FAQ page. And yes, I think VR makes sense in the long run because that could be the future of gaming as they are already trying to stretch a single game onto all platforms (for example fotnite is going to be a mobile game soon), and we will have games for VR on a regular basis. I heard something about that, regarding Fortnite. So their idea is that they make a mobile version of the game, but you still play with other gamers that are using different platforms? I think you will have to add your wallet. It hasn't been explicitly said but it seems it could be that way. I also think that we will need to create a purse, which usually happens. But still I would like to hear the exact answer from the manager Right now the ability to earn CRNC through the app is not yet ready, however the great thing about the Current platform is it will automatically set each user up with a wallet in the app, which is where your CRNC will be displayed. I think the first thing should be releasing the app for Android. That would get even more people on board. After that things will get moving again. I thought android and iOS app are coming out at the same time.So thats not the case actually? The Android version is in the works now  good to hear everything is on track We need it out A.S.A.P.! AFAIK no, most of the teams just use stock photos and fake names for the team members anyway. It's rare for the teams to actually have real photos and profiles Well, there's no foolproof way to tell if a project is legit or not, but ICOs that do their best to look like a real serious company, are, in fact a serious company. |

That wouldnt make much sense,too many people would be left out. I think at the beginning of this thread they mentioned they will support other languages as well. You can conduct your lessons on whichever language you wan't. In time, yes. But it seems that at first most of the skillers will be from English speaking countries, North America to be precise. |

They just needed Mark Cuban and that's all for marketing In fact, I didn't see much advertising of Current in specialized media. I think they mainly used Mark Cuban as a promotion method. Actually, they got some bounty campaigns here and in social medias as well which can be quite effective too and is often not considered in the marketing expenses, but it surely is. Sure it is. It was the combination of a bunch of factors. Cubans name, activity on social media platforms, Dan's salesman abilities, a good product... With this competition, you can't rely on one thing. I think it's also the combination of something that people kind of know and use (streaming, especially on popular platforms) and something new like blockchain and crypto. It's great that we have blockchain connected with something that most people use like streaming. It could be a way to get blockchain more popular. |
