341  Economy / Speculation / Re: 3rd times the charm 20K on: December 06, 2020, 11:29:49 PM
here comes the 3rd time for 20K I think it's going to do it. Then 30K pretty quick

For me bitcoin will first stabilized only at $20k and more fluctuating value could be experienced until the end of December. We don't know yet what will happen next during the start of 2021, it could be good or either bad opportunity. That $30k predictions was just a glitch of ever price bounce quickly to that level.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the long awaited bull run? on: December 05, 2020, 11:01:17 PM
I don't really understand whether this is the bull run we are waiting for or not. It's just that right now I only see that the very high increase is only in bitcoin, and not in altcoins. although altcoins are gradually recovering, this is not what I imagined. however the potential for a bull run I expected exceeds this. however, I am also grateful that the price recovery did take place this year, and it was very good. however, we don't know how long the potential price will continue to rise, but I predict that this is until 2021.
This is the thing with the markets they never do what we imagine they are going to do, I'm not really surprised by the bull market we are seen in the market of bitcoin what surprises me is the lack of strength in the growth of altcoins, yes they had an increase in value but nothing like what they did in 2017 and this tells me that most likely people have not forgotten about all what happened in that year in which altcoins crashed massively and many scammed their customers outright, and even several years have not been enough for people to forget and to forgive.

Indeed we can forget but the traces and scars of pain was really painful for those people who've been affected. This remains a lessons learned for everybody and be careful next time in every decision making, and hard to trust with a stranger. Most especially on new projects that has no assurance, bullrun isn't worth for non legit platforms.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: December 03, 2020, 11:59:16 PM
Waves has been doing very well recently both in price and in development. Waves team spearheaded by Sasha Ivanov have been hard at their job and delivering some top notch updates recently.

Recent news:
Quote
In a bid to advance blockchain adoption and interoperability, Waves partners up with Conflux, an open protocol for a new world of dApps, finance, and Web 3.0.

The two teams will join efforts to implement blockchain integration via Gravity to enrich the InDeFi infrastructure and create new opportunities for practical implementation of decentralized finance.

Source: https://medium.com/wavesprotocol/waves-partners-up-with-conflux-to-amplify-defi-focused-infrastructure-729b48a394d0

About the price:

Waves was at $2 in October but at the time of this post, it is at $7.6. The recent high was at $8.7.

What are your opinions on $WAVES in the short, mid and long term?

In my opinion, waves still an unpredictable asset because if I choose long term it's really difficult. The asset backed by this platform has not been showing progress for years, so I can't decide exactly what's going to happen with my waves holdings. Maybe I am dumping using short trades when I found out it's not doing good in the upcoming months to go.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on Jan 30, 2021 on: December 03, 2020, 11:31:00 PM
It's quite a bold statement coming from Whyte but I guess this will also serve as his inspiration to train harder and focus in developing unique tactics that can likely KO his opponent.

But I am sure that Povetkin will not just sit and do nothing to this upcoming fight so this will be a tought fight for Whyte for sure and I guess the odds will favor to Povetkin base on my analysis as he win in their last fight and he has an advantage to experience as what Whyte have said that Povetkin was able to use his experience against him in their last fight that is why he lost.

Both camps will comes up with new strategy, Whyte after losing that fight will try to find what best combos to use and how he will improve his

stamina from that last fight, while with Povetkin he won't allow Whyte to see an advantage to win back, he will add more from what he showed

from their previous fight so i's really a tough one for both of them.

Both parties would come to a very difficult situation as they had a very good skills on terms of boxing. No matter how tough they are, only one will win during the finale of their fight. Am not a fan of Povetkin nor Whyte, what I am looking forward is the success of their match whoever be the winner, praises goes to them because they are great fighters.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero (XMR) ever break its ATH price? on: December 03, 2020, 10:57:45 PM
I think XMR has a good chance of breaking its ATH record,as long as this bull market continues for a few months.
Records are meant to be broken,XMR still have a large potential room. Not just XMR,i think a lot of coins their ATH record will be breaking in 2021.

The bullish trend is still strengthening until now. I think this is a rare opportunity to add to the number of XMR and other alts in the bag. Even though you don't know what it is, there is definitely another surprise that will amaze everyone later.
I disagree with your views, it is true that the market is going up but at least it is too late to enter, even if there is still a lot of growth ahead of us, it is not recommended that you enter the market under the current circumstances, right now it is the moment to hold whatever monero you have in your wallets and you should only sell it once it is completely clear to you that the bullish trend that we are going through is over otherwise you should keep it with hopes that the rally continues.

bitcoin already touch its ATH, wich mean this is a big sign if crypto market in a preparations for the next waves
and for sure the impact will go to a good altcoins project such as monero, wich mean monero price could reach its ATH next year

Let's wait further if this current waves of bitcoin will bring positive impact towards altcoins market, because lately I didn't see good signs on tokens that I am holding. The value seems to be so dip and still trying to reach a profitable value as well.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 03, 2020, 10:17:17 PM
This is the choice of the gambling site if this kind of advertisement is effective for them then why not to try it again but since they stopped it, maybe it didn’t work well and lose big money instead. If its 0% house edge then its not gambling anymore, it more likes a free money for the gambler and this is not how business works.

That's part of the promotion so the gambling site also risked their promotion to gather more potential customers to register with them. Gambling could be in different strategies from the owner, maybe we're looking it in different ways as it's not gambling on our personal mindset. Losing bigger money is always part of the process before hitting successful outcome.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: December 02, 2020, 11:32:19 PM
this year is a year that we have to celebrate, because the price of Bitcoin reaches the price of $ 19700,
and goes down again to $ 19100, of course if the support is not broken, then we will see ATH this year, hopefully

How could we break the support if people who've been involved with bitcoin lately will pull back their asset? I'm just looking for the possible scenario that bad news may come out in stream media which badly affects some weak holders that can't control their emotion towards current market situation. Gladly we've seen higher price on Bitcoin, but don't rejoice while $20k btc hasn't stabilized.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dumps ! on: December 02, 2020, 09:24:14 PM
Hey guys,
I am wondering what you think of altcoin pump and dump groups ?
They are basically a large group of people on discord like this one : https://discord.gg/ugkkmfEQKU
And they basically decide on an altcoin to pump and they all buy at the same time and then sell for double and make profits...
I watched a whole pump and people were making a lot of money lol what's the catch ?
thx
Don't be too excited watching them, they may look profitable to you but in return, you're likely to suffer afterward. Better to avoid pump and dump groups and do your investment and trading on your own.
It's best to learn from your own than to depend on them. They also charge people joining them so if you think that's good for you, think again. They really are not good for someone who doesn't know what pump and dump groups do.

I think OP was inspired of his holdings and looks like one of the asset owned by him was already gaining a good value now. We can't avoid dumping, since we seen that most coins with good developer was already showing good signs that it would increase a good price sooner. If you wanted to do so, learn some trading analysis before deciding to focus on trading seriously because buy and sell can lead us to bigger losses if we fail.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your opinion about today's Altcoin market situation? on: December 01, 2020, 11:14:43 PM
I can say that the market is still in bullish state and for sure that there will be some altcoins out there that will have a strong rally or what they call going to the moon. The altcoin dominance is still the same because bitcoin is currently trending where its price doesn't yet exhausted and a lot of investors are focusing on bitcoin only but once the chart of the bitcoin become unhealthy, expect that there will some investors that will withdraw their money and re invest it in altcoin market that can cause to its dominance to go up. The altcoins are doing good especially the ETH where its price suddenly recover after it got bounce in its support. I'm currently focusing on ETH because of its current movement where there is something gonna be good that may happen.

Good thing is currently happening mate, what to expect next is the possible market declination as this was already a part of our historical breakthrough. We already encountered this price rapud increase and then market collapsed quickly after enormous growth outstandingly fulfilled. Bullish state is somewhat good to see for long term holders, but not amazing to those who still preferred to see btc at cheaper price due to their frustrations of failing to purchase while price was still inexpensive.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: December 01, 2020, 09:28:42 PM
In now days too much Altcoin Project are Launching one by one and all of them claim that invest in his project because we will be successful in upcoming days but in the end they run away and make a scam. They don't woory about people fund and stole them.
So how we can trust on altcoin to give us profit after investment. Because most of them become Scam and Scam. All of them has one Aim how to stole too much fund .
So how we make altcoin investment safe ?

To make it as safe investment, don't be easily fooled with new projects that promised bigger roi. Only pick those existing in that intimately competes with the recent market and actually doing live trades at different exchanges. On that scenario, you'll definitely find an assurance that the value of your asset will be worth on your future financial goals.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP price Hit $0.9, suddenly goes down in second on: December 01, 2020, 08:19:48 PM
I sold XRP at the ATH price in November, but I had no luck with the buyback during the correction because it had not yet reached the predetermined buyback target. I applied for short trades because it will give you many times more profit than you hold for now, but I have to consider correction targets for buying back.

Your decision of buying back is great and I also grab the chance while pricr declines better everytime if falls, because applying short trades could boost up your xrp amount so you'll have more chances of gaining. For a meanwhile, I am choosing to hold my coins instead of selling them before another bounce initiated. Corrections might be unpredictable but don't be afraid, just maintain a good stand before it happens.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this service ? on: November 30, 2020, 11:28:58 PM
I'm not saying it is worth trying or a kind of scam. He never asked you for money but only commission if you win. Let see if he is really serious about his words but the moment that he asks you something in return for that prediction, then that is also the moment to stop talking with him because that it says a way to scam trick. Find it normal nowadays and we need to be cautious especially when it talks about money and that coming from strangers.

Basically this person was exercising mendicancy, that's using it's own way of dealing to people who they think can give them a money as donation. In my own perceptions, it won't be associated to scam but rather deceiving people through internet. No poor person could use the internet if he's or she was into poverty since, they rather us it for food. We should get rid from these strangers and avoid having communication on them.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 27, 2020, 11:49:37 PM
Online gambler recover from pandemic how? The last time i checked physical gamblers and online gamblers spent more time gambling online and the pandemic doesn't by any chance stop them from playing every single day though i understand the tax will somehow affect some online player the country in the subject badly need some fund to save the country economy and the increased in tax fee will only hurt the gamblers but won't stop their interest in an online game of chance.
If anyone is affected by this tax then they can always move to cryptocurrency based gambling sites, it is a fact that the government increased the tax because of the economic slowdown due to the pandemic but as a player you can be smart to overcome these extra money you need to shell out and there is nothing that the government can do about it.

Yes they can move in cryptocurrency based gambling site, from here government has nothing to do to increase the taxes due to the fact that government has no control in crypto. Which in fact many gambling sites today were now i guess can already figured out the importance of using cryptocurrency as a base payments or payouts to their player. Can't resist the fact that due to pandemic, economic growth goes down and no other source of resource fund but the taxes that's why they taking the advantage of adding taxes.

Do they evaluate this kind of tax implementation through adding taxes was based on a standard business taxable income? If not I guess that's not fair to a gambling institution, since they're also into competition with other business who's running gambling. Though gambling using cryptocurrency currency was in demand by most online players, they shouldn't take advantage of that specially during a situation of pandemic.
354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: November 27, 2020, 09:20:12 AM
The price of BTC lift quickly suddenly, i think there must be a plan, and this plan must have been well thought out, several big whales, or dozens of, even more stand together to operate BTC up plan. More and more peole would join this BTC up plan when BTC break through some point, and then it is going to work by itself.
There must not be a plan as the market is steadily growing without even needed a plan before. More and more parties realize how good bitcoin to be used as long term investment especially to fight inflation.
The whales are also still buying more and more bitcoin. The good news will be enough to make more and more people buy bitcoin.
We don't need a plan but we need more adoption from the institutional investors.

This month of November is the fulfilment of the good news which also heard two years ago. After last bullrun, history between alts and bitcoin really shaken the entire cryptocurrency world even other platforms like waves definitely brought up a good tracks. Whales really played a big role for this phenomenal bitcoin price, without them I don't think this progress will commence.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Site Buys $100 Million of Bitcoin Every Month to Pay Players in BTC on: November 26, 2020, 11:11:55 PM
Strange though,,, I thought bookies only pay out in the same currency that players deposit in, so would you not only be paying out Bitcoin from deposits? And since most casinos should be making their profits in deposits accepted, they should not be buying more BTC to pay out.

Or am I missing something in the picture here?
It depends on the casino that you are playing. There are websites the same as OP posted, that offer their players to choose the currency they want for their payout. And yes, casinos should be making their profits from the deposits so they shouldn't but BTC for payout, however, as per the article, gamblers are depositing using dollar deposits and choosing bitcoin when they withdraw.

Maybe this thing only applicable on casino's who newly shift on bitcoins that's why this buying thing always happened to them and I don't get surprise from this actually since I think this really happened especially when there winners hit the jackpot prize in some certain instance.

Nothing to be surprised with because gamblers had their options to choose, and I believed bitcoin nowadays is more dominant particular on several countries who really patronized digital currency. The real reason behind why most people prefers btc is that they can store it as an asset, it can be tradable when they want to divert their money aside from gambling. Potential growth is there of their btc holdings.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: November 26, 2020, 10:21:23 PM
This is obviously a Golovkin fight, but I probably won't place a bet on this as it seems the betting odds so far are not enticing enough. As quite expected, GGG is the huge favorite and the largely unknown Szeremeta the underdog.

Yes, much better if we just wait for the outcome of this fight, not attractive because of his opponents are not known to us.

An ML bet on Golovkin winning the fight is only at 1.03, at least as offered by Bet365. That doesn't sound worth risking at all. So far, I haven't found odds on Asian total, winning method, or round range. If I do find some nice odds on these, I might also bet a little amount.

That low? damn, perhaps as the fight gets closer, there might be some nice odds on sport bookies. And perhaps we might find it bit enticing like what rounds will GGG will win. But ML bet is not that good even if you bet huge amount, might be better to play it on dice with at least 90% chance of winning.  Smiley

That's good if playing dice would have such rewards but per experience it was just a random results in the end you'll lose. With boxing I think both players would win by draw and it doesn't make sense betting without winning a good amount of money. Much better if they'll have a entitled rematch after the fight in order for gamblers to have assurance of another bets, to cover up the possible draw results.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Different online business we can involve in on: November 25, 2020, 11:47:02 PM
This is a nice list but there's more we can actually offer, we just need to have skills to start an online business. We can maximize the use of the internet to find income, and I have seen a lot of people shifting to online business, they just need the know what they are good at to offer services, or they can also offer products since online selling is now popular. Online platforms can be a big help especially now that we are in a pandemic where people don't usually go outside and most jobs are affected.

Having online business needs a huge buffer which is your capital and as you said about skills, then it's too hard if you're not having proper guidance towards the system. The competition was too high and the outstanding online business like alibaba, or ebay was just about to cater all the potential products that goes out towards consumer should be considered. However, this pandemic really pushed us to learn and apply more extraordinary things, that's why online selling, other digital stuffs founded to be a sustainable source of passive income.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: November 25, 2020, 11:19:35 PM

Now that there is already a vaccine , could it be the end of covid- 19 virus? How are you after one year of covid-19 pandemic?

There is a saying," Behind the Clouds the Sun is still Shining".

the situation we are in today has a pretty good development. people are already doing their usual activities. in various countries have started to struggle to get up little by little to improve the economic system. does not rule out that the corona virus will disappear soon. I am sure that the government in every country will find the best way for the welfare of its people.

Gladly it has been initiating good enough to cover up those declined economy, and i believed that pandemic gave us more reasons to strive harder in life. If the vaccine will successfully be finalized, hopefully this will protect a lot of sickly person around the world and I think everyone would be protected with it. Economic growth will soon rise and all of us will enjoy our profit specially when you're crypto oriented person having discreet assets.
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: INFLUENCE OF BITCON ON ETHEREUM's PRICE on: November 24, 2020, 11:33:48 PM
AS IF THE BITCOIN HITS $20000 TILL DECEMBER 2020 WHICH IS VERY OBVIOUS THAT IT WILL HIT THAT PRICE, THEN THE RATE OF ETHEREUM WILL BREAK ITS PREVIOUS HIGH OF $1440 BACK IN 2017 BULLISH MARKET.

THE FACT BEHIND THIS METHODOLOGY IS THAT THE PRICE OF ETH SHOULD BE 1/17TH OF THE BITCOIN AT CURRENT CIRCULATION RATE SO AT THE CURRENT PRICE OF BITCOIN ($18400), ETH's PRICE SHOULD BE AROUND $1082 Shocked BUT IT IS TRADED AT $615 WHICH IS MORE OBVIOUS THAT THE BULL WILL HIT THE ETH's PRICE AND TILL THE END OF DECEMBER 2020, ETH WILL GET 1-2 PARABOLIC GROWTH IN THE PRICE AND WILL SURELY BREAK ITS PREVIOUS HIGH OF BACK IN 2017

WRITE VIEWS REGARDING THE OTHER INFLUENCES OF BOTH CRYPTOCURRENCIES ON EACH OTHER.

As per checking on the current status on both btc and eth, they both performing an outstanding phase of the line right now. Truly it's an amazing movement that attracts and influenced ethereum's demand increase. More holders and new investors tend to accumulate more asset instead of dumping it, because of the ongoing trend that spiked consistently few days ago.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth2 substantially increase Ether's price? on: November 24, 2020, 10:13:42 PM
Will the scaling upgrades and the staking of Eth2 make Ethereum significantly more valuable?

I'm talking about instead of Ethereum launching up into the low to mid four digits, could Eth2 push Ethereum to say 5 digits in the coming years so that Ethereum joins Bitcoin as a dominant chain in the blockchain industry, rather than just the main chain in the market of what's left over outside of Bitcoin?

What sort of price future do you see for Ethereum in the coming years as Eth2 is implemented and fully brought on line. Will we see another vast expansion of Ethereum that far outstrips other top coins? Or you just think Eth2 will allow Ethereum to remain relevant and continue the sort of expansion you'd expect with the general crypto market expansion?

I think so, there's always a broad capabilities that eth may bring in the future of our asset. However, that eth2 would do more great things in our lives but considering the fact that transaction fee always matters most. The value maybe soon expensive, but don't expect fees could be the same during lean times. Everything changes so people should learn how to adopt certain fluctuations.
