English posted a big total of 368 runs and all out in 48.1 overs against New Zealand in the 3rd ODI. From England Ben Stokes played an unbelievable 182 runs knock and Dawid Malan brilliant innings of 96 runs helped England to post 368 runs on the board against New Zealand. Dawid Malan unfortunately missed his well deserved century by just 4 runs short. New Zealand bowlers give poor performances except Benjamin Lister picked up 3 wickets by just giving 69 runs in 10 overs. I think this total is different to chase down for New Zealand because English has a quality bowling line.
I don't see any chance of New Zealand winning this match. The team has come down to bat with a huge target of 369 runs. Naturally the batsmen are under a lot of pressure. And losing 3 top order batsmen now their pressure has increased. They lost the wickets of 3 experienced top order batsmen to collect only 28 runs. The team collected only 30 runs in 8 overs, New Zealand must collect 339 runs in 42 overs. New Zealand would have been able to collect more than 300 if they had not lost wickets so quickly. But the way they started the innings. Collecting 200 runs is much more difficult for this team. New Zealand will be defeated by a big margin of runs.

I am very annoyed by New Zealand's batting. The pitch is batting friendly. England's top order batted brilliantly. But now New Zealand's batting looks like they have played on a bowling friendly pitch. They lost four batsmen to collect only 37 runs. Talented batsmen like Devon Conway, Will Young, Henry Nicholls and Tom Latham could not survive at the crease. Now New Zealand's last hope Daryl Mitchell and Flenn Phillips. If these two wickets fall quickly, then New Zealand will lose the remaining wickets very quickly. These two batsmen are the last experienced batsmen in New Zealand's squad. New Zealand collected 46/4 after 12 overs. They have no chance of winning. Now their only goal is to reduce the margin of defeat.

I'm not very surprised with the drop in Lens' performance level this season honestly. Because they weren't a team that were regularly fighting for the league title every year. Last season just went on really good for them and they finished right behind PSG by a small gap. After that they have lost some important players as you said like Openda and Fofana.

This is also a factor in their getting weaker at scoring goals this season. Especially Openda had a huge contribution last season as you know. Still this is a huge downfall by Lens of course as they have 0 wins in 4 games. It is only the beginning though and hopefully they would improve later.

Yes I know they are not an extreme level of best team that we can expect very high result, but i did not expect such a drop in terms of performance.  It is just the start of the season i think a lot of people are actually going to overlook the performance that they have shown so far and probably will also say that they will definitely get better.

But the performance they have shown so far has been disappointing, I don’t think anyone can actually deny that.  I can see they have played four matches and they have already conceded 10 goals, that is definitely not what anyone would expect from them.  They will have to improve quickly, I know they already have a lot of excuses ready for the bad performance. But giving excuses are not going to bring them results, right?
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 11, 2023, 09:45:57 AM
Honestly Lens lost some good players, and hoping some of the players they got gets adjustment, even if you get a better player there is an adjustment period, and some good ones left so it may take some time. Lyon is even in worse situation, they have sold players worth of 100+ million euro total, and got 20 million worth of players. That means there is a near 90 million euro difference between the players they sold and they got. That causes any team to be a lot worse without a doubt.
Of course they would have been worse, sure they got some players too, but nobody that is gamechanger. So that is why I believe that it is going to be something that would be tough for them and shouldn't be a shock to see them at the bottom.
Yes indeed, it is also unfortunate for Lens, because in this season Lens also has to play in the Champion League. Therefore, at this moment Lens is experiencing a very difficult situation and conditions and again, Ligue 1 teams will not succeed in the Champions League and that is a bad result too. But yes, maybe Lens will put that aside because after all, improving their position in the Ligue 1 standings is the main thing. Because if not, then Lens and Lyon will struggle in the relegation zone throughout this season.
Lens had a good performance in the last season and they had a close race with PSG for first place in the table This made them to get the ticket for the Champions League this season but we can't expect a lot from the French team. Lens lost some players in this summer after we saw good performances from these players in the past surely losing these palyer and affect the team. On the other hand, because of not having a competitive league in France usually the French teams are not successful in the Champions League.

I can't find any reason for such sudden degradation of Lens. This team has performed well in the last season as well. We have seen excellent performances from Lens in almost every match. And at the end of the season, Lens' points gap with PSG was only 1 point. And so this season too, it was expected that Lens would dominate Ligue 1 this season too and fight for the title with PSG. But their performance in the first three matches was very poor. Bonding between players is also very weak. And their match strategy is not good either. The players are not confident enough. The coach should try to boost the confidence of the players. If not, we will not see a good performance from the team this season.

Pakistan Women vs South Africa Women

Pakistan Women's team and South Africa Women's team are going to face each other shortly in the DET ODI match of the series. The Pakistan Women's team showed great dominance in the T20 series. The South African women's team is very strong. However, South Africa women's team lost all three T20 matches of the series against Pakistan women's team. But the South African team is back on the truck in the ODI series.

Africa won the first ODI match by 127 runs. South Africa women's team set a huge target of 293 runs with the loss of just 4 wickets. And they won very easily. I guess the South African players will be able to show dominance in today's match as well. Pakistan women's team is relatively weak in ODI format.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government vs Bitcoin on: September 11, 2023, 03:54:44 AM
The government thinks bitcoin is harmful to them not to the users of bitcoin. It’s untraceable which makes the government pretty uneasy. Like any other forms of currency, bitcoin can be easily used for things that the government wouldn’t like/allow hence the regulations. The government is smarter than most people think.
It is not easy for Bitcoin to be accepted by a government; of course, it must be adjusted to the situation of the government itself and whether it is able to accept the consequences that will occur. As you said, the government is scary because it can be used for undesirable things such as escaping the proceeds of corruption as well as money laundering, which results in government losses. but now the government is also more familiar with it and does this with regulations that can prevent abuse from happening, so they don't dare to do things that could violate the rules.

But even without bitcoin, corruption and money laundering still happen every day and even happen to the government system.  don't blame bitcoin for those things when those evils appeared hundreds of years before bitcoin was born.  in my opinion, the decentralized nature is what makes governments unhappy with bitcoin because it would make it impossible for them to retain their power.  If the government accepts bitcoin and allows people to use bitcoin, people will stop using banks and fiat money, then they will lose all power and it will lead to collapse.

Just like real life, there are millions of liars living among us but we have no way to stop those liars.  they have the right to say whatever they want and we have the right to ignore them if we suspect they are lying.  for me, if there is a topic that I feel is not suitable for me or suspect that the topic is somewhat fictional, I will choose to ignore it and move on to a topic that is more suitable for me.  you don't need to worry too much about what you don't like, focus on the things you like and you will feel the beauty of the forum or even in life.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two years ago today, El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as legal tender on: September 11, 2023, 03:40:56 AM
Are you from El Salvador?  on what basis do you say that bitcoin adoption has helped their country repel crime or improve their economy?  for the country's economy to improve, we need to increase the employment rate, increase people's income and sharply reduce the rate of social evils...Meanwhile bitcoin is accepted as legal tender in El Salvador, meaning bitcoin is used as currency.  how can it improve the nation's problems?  not only can bitcoin eradicate poverty and reduce unemployment, but it can now also reduce crime rates and social evils, lol.  so many crazy ideas about bitcoin.
Though it's true that "El Salvador" might have lost a lot of funds due to the drastic fall in the price of Bitcoin, but yet Bitcoin made the name "El Salvador" popular the way it is among other nations and the Bitcoin community at large, because thou it might not have helped eradicate poverty and employment totally, but it actually did in that certain ways, because due to the legalization of Bitcoin, it gave people the privilege to venture into Crypto & Blockchain related skills, which I'm sure by today, El Salvador should be having an institute that should be offering a handful of Blockchain related courses.

However, if you can take a look at the image below, you will notice that the revenue generated from "El Salvador" tourism sector started increasing in 2021, which is the same year it accepted Bitcoin as legal tender, as am sure many Bitcoin lovers must have gone there to see what it feels like living in a Bitcoin free & acceptable environment.

I also know about El Salvador's tourism industry which has grown since they accepted bitcoin.  but a tourism industry cannot help them improve the whole country's economy and moreover, how does bitcoin prevent and reduce the crime rate in El Salvador?  what I want to say is, bitcoin is very useful and brings a lot of convenience to us, but let's not exaggerate it to an unnecessary level.

Bitcoin is just a peer-to-peer currency and it gives us the freedom to not depend so much on the government.  bitcoin is not a panacea that can cure humanity's ills. that's what I'm talking about.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two years ago today, El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as legal tender on: September 10, 2023, 09:23:50 AM
Two years ago today in El Salvador, Bitcoin was officially adopted by the country's government. But then the people of the country were against it all, went against the government to officially legalize Bitcoin. But when Bitcoin became legal in El Salvador, people thought there would be more corruption and more murders. El Salvador has always had people involved in criminal activities, from juvenile gangs to criminal activities. But since legalizing Bitcoin, El Salvador's government has clamped down on them and completely revamped the country. After Bitcoin was officially legalized, their country has gradually improved, and now they have advanced economically. There everything is possible with Bitcoin and everything is accepted as payment through Bitcoin and the country has progressed so much that the education rate is highest.

Why is every newbie always want to be a superhero?

I want to convince people about Bitcoin, I want to teach people about Bitcoin, Bitcoin will solve poverty, Bitcoin save me and my country etc etc. In reality people don't give a shit about someone else problem, it's not their business, so if you don't want to invest in Bitcoin or you're always become poor, it's your own business.

Let's accept the fact every people are greedy and they only want do something when there's a benefit for them.

Simply because newbies are like frogs sitting at the bottom of a well and they have not seen anything other than that well.  they need time to experience everything before having a more accurate view of the market and bitcoin.  they are people who are stuck in life and suddenly discover bitcoin, like finding the light at the end of the tunnel, so they begin to fantasize about the power of bitcoin like a god.

You're right, as humans, no one would be so kind as to help others without asking for something in return.  it's all for personal gain.  people who always talk about morality, always try to prove that they are good people and want to help others, those people are scarier than anyone.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is KYC mandatory in CEX? on: September 10, 2023, 08:56:18 AM
Privacy is important when it comes to Cryptocurrency, so why do exchanges like Bitget require KYC (Know Your Customer) for all users, even those who only want to get airdrops? I thought KYC should be for those transacting many Bitcoins, Is it really necessary for everyone?
Honestly I almost thought bitget was a KYC free exchange until I discovered that you will need to do KYC before you can use the exchange to do anything you want even trading. This is not supposed to be so because I know there are some cex exchanges that don't make KYC compulsory at all except you want to increase the amount you can able to trader and receive funds. You can search the internet for other exchanges that don't make KYC compulsory which you can use in your region without any restrictions or need to use VPN.

There are not too many centralized exchanges that do not require KYC, as far as I know only Kucoin does not require KYC if you only trade small amounts.  for larger amounts, you cannot use them without KYC.  centralized exchanges all comply with the law to operate, so failure to KYC is very unlikely, it is a government regulation and no longer under their jurisdiction.

DEXs are an option for those who do not want to expose their privacy, but they are not as liquid nor as full-featured as CEXs.  so up to now, DEXs are not the choice of many people.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: September 10, 2023, 08:42:32 AM
To be honest, no one wants to own assets like gold or real estate, but because owning those things requires a lot of money and they are not profitable like bitcoin.  meanwhile we are poor people, have little capital and we need an asset that can help us earn a lot of money, and that is why bitcoin was chosen.
Really? if you joined a gold forum or real estate forum and say those assets require a lot money and not profitable, you will get many criticism the same way like you saying shitcoin is better than Bitcoin or Bitcoin isn't profitable.

Bitcoin might give you better return than gold and real estate, but it's not something will make you get rich overnight if you only invest small amount of money.

I say that gold and real estate are not as profitable as bitcoin, and I do not say that those two assets are not profitable.  I'm also not saying that we or the poor can get rich from bitcoin overnight, what I want to say is that choosing and investing in bitcoin will give us more opportunities to earn higher profits than the two investments.

By the way, why would you invest in bitcoin and not other assets?  isn't it because bitcoin can be very profitable and it can profit faster than the other two assets?  be honest and don't lie.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock wants to reduce the price of Bitcoin on: September 09, 2023, 12:19:04 PM
I'd like to reduce the price of Bitcoin so that I can buy some more. Smiley

Yeah, that would be a good thing for many of us because when the of Bitcoin goes low in value then most of us will try to accumulate as much as we possibly can. I'm sure that BlackRock is also thinking about the same thing and if they get any success in reducing the price of Bitcoin then it will be a best opportunity for us to accumulate a lot of Bitcoin. Bitcoin will go up in value after that and then no one will be able control the growth of Bitcoin.

They are people with a lot of money, not only will they think about it, but I believe they will also find ways to manipulate the market so they can buy it at a higher discount price.  Bitcoin is truly a lucrative piece of cake and those with a lot of money will find ways to capture it all before it explodes.  i'm even worried that bitcoin will like gold and real estate, become a luxury item only for the rich and no longer available to everyone.
People with money will always know how to manipulate everything that belongs to them.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: September 09, 2023, 12:10:45 PM
I'd choose Bitcoin all the way.

Bitcoin is less hassle, no paper works, less tax, and easier to buy and sell compare to real estate. Though, they are both good profit generator in the long run, I just don't like selling real estate because they take too much energy from you, physically and mentally. In Bitcoin, if you're a holder, all you gotta do is to buy when it dumps hard and wait for it to skyrocket before selling it, easy profits.
it's different for me, where I actually choose both, but for now I don't think I can afford to buy real estate because the price is expensive so I hold bitcoin, but when it makes a profit I think I will diversify to buy real estate and leave a little money for waiting for the bearish season to come, that way i will have 2 investments with different risks, and i hope that it will strengthen my finances, which with real estate i can turn it into a passive income

The reason people don't like real estate is because they don't have enough money to own and invest in it, they choose bitcoin because it can help them make great profits with significant amounts of money and quickly.  that's also the reason I chose to invest in bitcoin, but I won't lie that I don't like real estate like many others.

To be honest, no one wants to own assets like gold or real estate, but because owning those things requires a lot of money and they are not profitable like bitcoin.  meanwhile we are poor people, have little capital and we need an asset that can help us earn a lot of money, and that is why bitcoin was chosen.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries where Bitcoin is “banned” on: September 09, 2023, 10:13:39 AM
India banned bitcoin when they found out government officials were taking bribes in cryptocurrencies.
This is pretty funny, like people never took bribes in India (just like many other places in the world) before bitcoin, right? Roll Eyes If that is the real reason then politicians are even more stupid than what I thought because that just means remaining behind the rest of the world that will embrace this tecnology.
China first banned bitcoin because people were using it to transfer money out of the country, as sending large amounts of money abroad, or leaving China with a lot of cash is prohibited.
Same as above, if that is the reason then it's stupid. Those who want to laundry money and/or make it leave their country will find a way for sure.
Simply because the government cannot find any disadvantages or bad points of bitcoin to blame it on, and they use the excuse of corruption, crime...to blame bitcoin.  we all find those reasons ridiculous, but there is still nothing we can do to stop the government from banning bitcoin.

The government has never been stupid.  if they are stupid, how can they lead and manage us?  but don't believe what they say, I believe they don't want people to hold too much bitcoin, and they are silently accumulating them and waiting for the right time to legalize it.
I think they are stupid because there is no real way to ban bitcoin: you can censure some website but using VPN or other ways you can still buy/sell bitcoin, and of course there is no way they can stop people from making transactions, unless they plan to shut down internet in the whole country, but I don't think it's a smart move. At the same time, because of these bans, they are missing growth opportunities and even the possibility to get money thanks to the capital gain taxes.

As I said, don't believe what they say and the ban will only be temporary until they collect all the bitcoins they need.

You're right, taxes are what they're aiming for and that's why many countries are also starting to legalize bitcoin and tax us.  they won't ignore those huge taxes, but they will need to find the right regulations and accumulate enough bitcoin before adopting it. I believe it is inevitable that bitcoin will soon be accepted in all countries, but each country will have different regulations.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: September 09, 2023, 10:07:22 AM
There is no need to go into Altcoin investment as there are chances of scams most of the time. If you want to make a smart investment, it is definitely better to invest in Bitcoin, in which case Altcoin can never be a smart investment. We think that now is a good time to invest as the price of various coins including Bitcoin market has decreased. If we invest from this bear market then surely it is a bull market and we will expect huge amount of profit. And if you invest from Bitcoin current time then you have to invest from $26k dollars. Although there won't be much profit now, if you wait until the bull market, you will more than double your profit. And if you invest the same amount of money in altcoin then surely there is a possibility of losing money in future. That is why you must invest wisely in the field of investment.

Many people always say that all altcoins are scams but do you see that ETH or BNB are more profitable than bitcoin during the 2021 bull season?  and I bet you that ETH's increase in the upcoming bull season will also be more significant than bitcoin's.  bitcoin is safer, that is undeniably, but not necessarily bad if we invest in altcoins.  just because you don't know enough to profit from altcoins doesn't mean everyone else is like you.  smart investments are those that bring the highest returns, not just one thing.

Others haven't experienced it for sure, which is why they are saying it, but those who said it said that they only want those new release coins to invest in because it's cheaper than having ETH and BNB, and that is where they get scammed.

But having both Bitcoin and altcoins is good as you diversify your investment, but be cautious, and it is better to only invest in top altcoins like BNB, ETH, and XRP.

While I'm not against investing in altcoins, I wouldn't consider it diversification to minimize risk since the entire market depends on bitcoin's movements.  when our bitcoin investment loses money, no altcoin investment will make a profit.  investing in altcoins is just about finding ways to optimize profits and not minimize our risks, so I don't call it diversification.
But I agree with you, if you don't want to risk too much, invest in ETH or XRP, I believe they will bring better profits than BTC in the upcoming bull season.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 08, 2023, 05:52:33 PM
I remember a few years ago, Lyon was the strongest team in France and they were fighting for first place in the table while PSG didn't have this huge amount of investment in the team to buy superstar players.
But unfortunately time after time Lyon is getting weaker and now we can see Lyon is at the bottom of the table while they also didn't get good results in the game we saw from them so far.
I was also a little surprised to see two teams that used to be good in Ligue1 at the bottom of the standings after four games at the start of this season. Lens and Lyon both have one point after four games this season which I never even thought about because last season these two teams were not as bad as they are now, so what happened at the start of this season to both teams is very surprising for me because actually the current position is not a suitable position for both of them.

The two renowned teams of Ligue 1 are Lens and Lyon. These two teams have performed well in the last season as well. But this season, Lens and Lyon are at the bottom of the points table. They managed to earn only 1 point in four matches. I do not think that these two parties will suddenly decline like this.

Marseille, Monaco and Lille have performed well so far. With 10 points from 4 matches, Monaco have managed to hold the top spot in the points table. Marseille and PSG are second and third in the table with 8 points. And Lille got 7 points from 4 matches. I think Monaco, Marseille and PSG will fight for the title this season. It is going to be difficult for PSG to win the title this season.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 08, 2023, 05:46:03 PM
It's a joke to read, but it's true. I'm also very surprised by Harry Maguire, who always wants his game to be in the lyrics, but the mistakes he often makes make it seem like it's right and good for the club, but instead the club feels they are being disadvantaged by mistakes that often pose a threat to Manchester's goal. United.
My question is whether there is a club that will accept him, while the video of his mistakes has become a laughing matter for Manchester United fans. Even though he is no longer part of Manchester United's main squad and is a substitute player, Harry Maguire is still confident that he is still a player. became captain of the Manchester United team, even though he was aware that he was no longer trusted within the team to serve as captain of Manchester United.
In fact Harry Maguire status at Manchester united is unusual. He is loyal to club despite the controversy surrounding his performance and contract talk. When supporter and management may have question about him his willingness to stay at the club demonstrates his sincere passion. While some may have issue with his performance on the pitch he stands out for his commitment to the club and dedication.  Maguire comes across as a player who cherishes the legacy of the team because of his unwavering determination to keep donning the Manchester United jersey even though other may doubt his appropriateness. Whether he is considered a hero or not his loyalty is indisputable admirable.
Ten hag is enough giving him more chance to play in the club. Harry meguire was always bringing the club into the critical situation. I meant to look at how bad he was as a defender. He was always making mistake in any games. He shall not even have a place in the club again.
ETH must be aware if meguire can never grow even higher. He will be stuck at this place forever. It doesn't even matter how hard ten hag gave him motivation and he will always show stagnant progress.
Manchester united needs a better defender than him. It's quite strange to see ten hag is still trusting him. I would be accepting it if it's due to defenders crisis faced by manchester united.
giving meguire a chance to play like MU was killing itself. The club has big chance to lose three points once he played.

Personally I don't think harry maguire is too bad of a defender. He is quite a talented defender. I have seen better performances from Harry maguire in several matches. But Manchester united fans don't like Harry Maguire. The main reason for this is that the Manchester United team has to admit defeat due to Harry Maguire's mistakes in several important matches, or own goals. This is why Manchester United fans hate Harry Maguire.

Since Manchester United fans don't like Harry Maguire, and now Harry Maguire is not performing consistently well, Ten Hag should find a replacement for Harry Maguire. United's defense is not strong enough. Ten Hag need to strengthen their defense. If the defense is weak, Manchester United cannot be in the top four of the table.

Guess what, ever since my friend introduced me to Bitcoin and I invested on it, things have never remain the same with me. investing in Bitcoin have given me what I could imagine to achieve in short period of time.
(1) I live alone in the house. but now, I have wife and children.
(2) I was living in a rented apartment. but now, I live in my own house.
(3)  I was tricking to places. but now, Bitcoin have giving me a car.
(4) before I don't have any source of income. but now, Bitcoin is my source of income.

friends, in short period of time, BTC have given me what I needed to have as a man. what is, your own achievement's with Bitcoin.
Good for you. But remember, not everyone gets "lucky" and not everyone can transform their life after investing in Bitcoin. You probably took a very risky move, and got lucky. You invested what you couldn't afford to lose.. which is what most people wouldn't recommend. There are people like you that thought crypto currencies would "change" their life, but instead, the opposite happened.
To address some of your points,

1. Not sure what wife and kids has to do with bitcoin.
2. Being able to afford a house just by investing in bitcoin sounds like you got very lucky or you have bought when the prices were very low and kept holding.
3. Tricking?
4. Don't make it your source of income, or the next day you will have to end  up selling your house and car.

1. I think he was talking about being rich and having money, that helped him have a happy family, that's also normal.  because many people don't dare to think about a small family when they have nothing, but when they are successful, having a wife and children is what they will think about.
2. Bitcoin brings significant profits, but to be able to buy a house or a car requires a lot of initial capital or he was a very early investor when bitcoin prices were still very cheap.
4. There are still some people who consider trading and investing as their main source of income, but those who do so are rare.  I don't believe the OP has done that with his knowledge.   this story is more unrealistic and more fabricated.
