Okay guys, I have put up the spreadsheets containing sponsors and persuaders. http://www.editgrid.com/user/mahkul/Earn_BTC_for_promoting_BitcoinLet me know if you see any mistakes in it - or, even more importantly, once the status should be changed from pending to complete. Also, please let me know your bitcoin addresses I should put in there.

Yep, contacted GeoHot and the FSF. I have a huge contact list and have known a lot of people with leverage. I also plan to introduce Bitcoin to a really good hacker that even you would recognize. He specializes in security, though. Do you mean this GeoHot: http://www.geohot.us/?

I will give munin a try, however I would prefer nagios since I use it to monitor my whole network (which is pretty big).
I've only just this minute looked at Naigos (used Munin before, however) but it looks to me as if you could fairly easily hack comboy's script. If I read the documentation correctly, Naigos wants a plugin that simply spits out something like "GPU Temperature: 75.4". You could do that with comboy's script by removing everything except the else-block. (And maybe a bit of ruby-hackery to pretty-print the output for Nagios/human-consumption). ...but I know nothing about Nagios, YMMV, IANAL, consult a qualified physician before commencing exercise, do not taunt Happy Fun Ball, etc. Thanks for that, LMGTFY. I never looked at writing Nagios plugins, I may give it a shot!

I might be able to do so for 5 BTC/month.
All you need is a VPN relay so that the miners can access the pools?

I have contacted a small shop that I think would offer a useful addition to the Bitcoin economy. Unfortunately their pagerank is zero. So maybe if they accept, someone can help them improve that.
What's the name of it?

I may throw some BTC at a person who could write a nagios plugin that would monitor the temperature using aticonfig utility. Anyone else interested in getting such a thing?

I can do that if you have a good reputation here or someone trusted can vouch for you.

I have one spare server with two 5970s running Ubuntu 10.10. The server is located in my own company's comms room, backed up with a generator and UPS (for automatic failover to the genie power). My company provides security services so 24/7 broadband and power is crucial, so as long as my DSL connection is okay you are ok as well (and it is a top package business connection, so very seldom goes down, if ever). I offer a full server root access, you can do whatever you like (however, this is a DSL connection, so wouldn't be suitable for a busy webserver).
The server comes with all drivers installed and also m0mchil's miner, fully tested and ready to go. If you need any more info let me know.

This so called reward is not exactly a good means of motivation, especially for those of us who are trying to do this for hour own sites ... like mine www.thefiatfreezone.com .. Looking at the amount of responses to this thread it seems like a good enough motivation factor for some people. I'm calling so many business and companies is tiring, but I'm sure NOT going to tell you EVERY single time I want contact someone. I just put them on my site, that's it ...
So, if you guys want to run this contest, it's not going to be so easy for some people to get 'their reward' since they are not going to phone you EVERY time they contact others.
Nobody forces anyone to participate. I think it's nice to get rewarded for the work one does for making Bitcoin more popular.

I overlooked they're accepting cash in the mail, too, yes. Is that a no-go for the bounty?
This doesn't make any difference.

It's sad how unpopular Bitcoin still is in Ireland (despite the fact that one of the first mainstream articles about Bitcoin was published in the Irish Times). I own bitcoin.ie domain and am looking for someone to give me a hand with building the website. I'm a little bit under pressure with other projects right now and could use some help with this. I would see the website to become a central point for the Irish people using Bitcoin. The help I am looking for is not as much programming as the content and stuff like that (articles, graphics etc.).
Any Irishmen around willing to get involved?

As said before, it looks like I have actually convinced the german privacy foundation to accept donations using bitcoins.
Can someone verify they are currently not doing so?
I confirm that (but apparently they also accept cash). Also, for convenience of fellow non-German speakers who would also like to take a look, here's the Google Translate link. Seems like they have a subsection called "anonymous donation" encouraging people to send cash by mail. Bitcoin would fit in that section I would imagine? Ideally if they put Bitcoin in both - anonymous and "mainstream".
