Looks like we have a new problem - 2 parallel forks. There are block 9246 at diff 0.04594785 and block 9218 at diff 0.03496026 at the same time in different wallets.
I was in the middle of writing exactly about this. I have all my nodes (4) on 9232 ( 5:49AM GMT) but the pool http://new.hashharder.com/dcrypt/slimcoin is on 9255 I just checked and indeed I am also having the same problem being at block 9241 and 9268 at the same time in 2 different wallets. I am still solomining. |

The concept of URO is new. Will it work? We don't know yet. Does it have the potential to work? I think so.
My belief is that cryptocurrencies will become a very important part of the world economy in the next decade. URO could be one of them.

Folks, we're a bit busy preparing payouts for general fund members, but we're still getting ready for our next software release as well. Current trends are for anon functions and many coins are jumping on the hype, but we do not believe it is necessary. True anonymity comes from the user, not the software. BTC is already anonymous enough. Our focus remains the same as before, making the most productive altcoin system possible, bringing cryptography to the people, not the other way around.

What is the problem you are having. We just confirmed both p2pool and solo mining are working fine. You can check the block explorer to verify this. I made a mistake in the configuration, running my private pool, but in another pool it works, so no problem from your side, it's working fine. I am continuing mining this, really like it |

I wonder where the choice for such a long confirmation time (288 blocks) came from. I have been mining since 22 hours, but even my oldest block is not confirmed yet, still 62 blocks to go for it to confirm..., which will take another 8 hours or so, I am afraid...30 hours is extreme long...

Something weird is going on with Chickenstrips. It has 25 Gh/s hashrate, but finding blocks seems to be very hard compared to other pools. In the last hour only 1 was found, 20 since the coin started. Compared to for example http://mha.nmgpool.com/ (autotranslate on with Chrome), it is nothing. That one has a 3 Gh/s hashrate total, but found 153 blocks since the launch and 12 in the last hour. I think I am going to move to China! |

Watching this coin, and hopeful to be able to mine it soon. I am on linux, so sourcecode on github would be very nice edit: did not read well, there is a linux wallet! I really like the goal of this coin, I had no idea that urea was so important for foodproduction in this world and I would be glad to see that the price of urea will be affordable for all people that want or need to grow food. |
