I don't know what SCAMEXPOSER's intentions are but...He is right about one thing.. the NO.1 priority for this coin is to get rid of those 2mill lost/stolen (whatever) coins

This needs to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY.....BAM!

Thank you.  My intention is to try and stop all these coins from crashing and burning and taking a piece of the altcoin world with them.  Since I have been unable to open peoples eyes to the obvious shortcomings of this coin I have decided to try and open their eyes to what must be done to save it.

I don't know why that is so hard to comprehend.  This whole "Get on Mintpal"  is nothing more than a distraction and people are buying into it while the real needs are being ignored.

IF YOU WANT TO SAVE THIS COIN FORGET ABOUT MINTPAL AND RESOLVE THE MISSING COIN ISSUE.  20% IS A BIG DEAL AND THIS COIN WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE UNTIL IT'S RESOLVED.

Sorry for the caps but these people won't listen.  They think that getting on mintpal will take them to the moon.  That can't be further from the truth.  Many coins get on the big exchanges and then lose value one the trading bots take over never to recover.  That is a fact.

There are f*cking retards who go after decent launches with low difficulty, attack Mazacoin devs and founders, smear developers like Evan Duffeld, Auroracoin devs and meantime faggots like this OP get away time after time.

Pretty sure some of the scam exposers etc are part of all this scam too.

I hope you're not referring to me because I have never scammed anyone.  I feel sorry for the people that lost btc and for what these scammers are doing to the reputation of cryptocurrency as a whole.  Some of these people that got scammed will leave and never come back and they will tell anyone that will listen that cryptocurrency is nothing more than ponzi schemes and scammers preying on the weak.  That hurts all of us.

Something needs to be done but I don't know what it is.  But with the way things are going with all these scams and worthless crap coins launching everyday.  The entire alcoin world will eventually implode leaving just a few strong coins surviving.  Which might be a good thing long term.

I didn't check, but did you warn people in this thread?

No I didn't because I was being attacked by half the forum.  There was even a thread with a poll to have me banned.  I feel bad but the community treated me like a scammer so I just sat back and watched knowing what the end result would likely be.  I didn't think it would happen like this though.  It really pisses me off what going on.  And when you try and warn people they just attack you.  I didn't lose any btc but this crap is hurting the entire crypto community.  Thinking about this is making me so mad that my hands are trembling as I type.

You can't be serious. This IPO started on March 27. How many other coins did you attack this whole time before that ban thread? And you just a single small sample. There are other pretentious assholes posing as good Samaritans only to push their fucking products forward and spread hate and fear around this forum. This whole altcoin thing is a mess.

So you're using the fact that I didn't post in this thread against me?  There are coins launched everyday.  I can't keep up with them all.

I might be a pretentious asshole but I've never pushed anything.

You are right that this whole altcoin thing is a mess.  Believe it or not, I only want for cryptocurrency to succeed.  I can't take anymore of these scams.  Whether or not I'm out any btc is besides the point.  I mine and I trade cryptocurrency and this crap is hurting them all so in a way everyone is losing money because of these scams.  Damn I'm mad.  Anyone want to have a drink with me?  I need to calm down before I have a heart attack.

I'm buying.

I just talked to Adriano again and he reported he received some payments from the multipool and now tries to buy comm from bittrex and poloniex(each time from where it's cheaper) and after he receives the full payout on monday which is without limit he will buy all comm and spread it to the miners accordingly.

If this works out fine, he will make this the standard procedure for next week.

He will probably write some more later himself, when he has some time.

Isn't it better to buy for higher price to support COMM price movement upwards?

I disagree with this. While this is certainly better for holders, I think Adriano has a duty to the miners to buy the cheapest coins for them. Remember that at least some of the miners will be people who did not receive stakes, and for sure I would not mine on a multipool if I knew I was getting a bad deal on the coins in order to line the pockets of others.

People can just mine their own coins and sell them for btc right away and then buy comm if they want.  This multipool doesn't make any sense.  The people behind this coin are so disorganized and now people are trusting them with their hash power?  This is not going to end well.

Finally the trolls again! I was missing them, I love them
Guys, let's ignore the trolls,to answer is like bread for them!

I post what needs to be done to help this coin and you call me a troll.  Besides, looking at your post it's obvious you are in league with these dev and cronies.

You made this post on the cinni thread.  How is that distribution anymore complicated than this coins?  You have no credibility.  I've exposed you.  "If you want to give coins simply give them"  You said that.  Why don't you say that for this coin?  They didn't just give this coin away.  It was complicated.  You have no credibility and everyone should be wary of you and anything you say.

Anyway good luck

Almost 100 BTC and no one want to invest in our trusted coin. So sad.

You're not a con artist.  You were on the up and up.  You didn't offer instant wealth.

BTW, I mined GIAR and still have all I mined.  It's obvious by your OP that you were serious and devoted time to your coin.

You have the scam_exposer "Not a Scam" approval rating.  If that means anything.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Wallets Stolen By Hackers][We're Sorry][Contact Anon136 For Escrow] on: April 17, 2014, 08:07:44 PM
GUYS, you need to call the FBI and get the Edgecoin dev taken down.  All of these scams are illegal and you just need to call enough times to the FBI so they can put these thieves in jail.

You can do that but then you'll just bring more negative attention to cryptocurrency.  There are already members of congress trying to ban cryptocurrency in the United States.  These scams and list of victims are nothing more than ammunition for them.  Besides, the scammer is likely in a country outside of the jurisdiction of the FBI.  Leave that alone.

As the 200M missing coins are kind of a problem I want to gather another bounty for fixing the issue.
Either a hard fork or code that hardcodes the wallet as locked are welcome.

I begin by pledging:

150K Comm

for a fix that is implemented.
Whomever is interested in this issue to be resolved, post in this thread or preferabbly PM me with a pledge. Most likely this will go to adriano, he is the one working on the fix right now.
But as he stated, he has a full time job and can't work on it the whole time. So wait a bit and see what happens.

Giving him some additional incentive is just right.

As far as I know the developer hasn't found a solution yet and Adriano's solution was critisiced as being a temporary fix. People are looking for a permanent fix so I think we should look for someone else.
Someone here suggested this person
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6269233#msg6269233

The dev contacted him but hasn't received a response he said, so I suggested he offer him 2 stakes.

It might help if people suggest a capable person who might help with this problem first before collecting bounties.

I've yet to see anyone explain why Adriano's fix is only temporary. It just seemed to pop up from nowhere. Are you sure it's the case?

What fix?  All I've seen is talk.  Either you do something or you don't.  There are many coins that have had issues and the devs have fixed those immediately and the coins are doing good.

You guys might want to see if you can't get the DarkCoin dev to solve this mess.  That dev could likely resolve this in a couple hours and be done with it.  The problem that you have is that no decent dev wants anything to do with this coin.

And what scam_exposer will say if there will be a good and more than satisfying solution for that 200mlj problem...

What will be next thing to which he will be attached, having rights to post here those price dumping posts...

I'll come on this thread and admit I was wrong.  But I doubt I'll have to.

And don't blame me for the price of this coin.  If the dev had addressed this issue and posted updates regularly like someone concerned then the price wouldn't be where it is.  The blame for the price of this coin belongs with the people that dumped their free coin as soon as they got it, the dev and those involved in launching this coin because they failed to address the situation and instead chose to hide, ignore, and hope the issue just went away.

Nice try trying to blame me but you're giving me too much credit.  If it wasn't me pointing these issues out it would have been someone else and there have been numerous people pointing these issues out.  This community is in it's own little world detached from reality.  I can't change that.

Looks like a wolfpack struck again https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=540017.0

You people are too trusting.  The majority of all coins launched have only one purpose and that's to make profit for those launching them.  The people in that thread were trusting as well and now some scammer just ran of with 73 btc.  $35,000 of easy money.

Question everything.  These scammers are well organized.  They don't have to get your btc to make profit.  All they have to do is create hype and get people to promote a coin giving it value so they can sell what they have, walk away, and do it again.

History repeats itself.  Wake up people.

your missing a step here. After "mine away", then what?
I have mined on this multipool and received bitcoins to some bitcoin address.
How to exchange them for community coins?
I hope this is not some elaborate ruse to mine bitcoins for someone else..

Your thinking is correct.

Question everything and trust no one.

It's amazing how many people just believe everything they are told by people hiding behind anonymity.  This is crypto.  There a wolf packs looking for sheep.  Don't be a sheep.

Yeah, right. You just happened to loose it did you so you can no longer give away coins, even though at first you stressed this was a fair launch, with nobody having more than another person (to start) including the devs. This was all lies to push up the value of your coins. Just you guys wait for this coin to get on an exchange. As soon as it does you will see a little dump here and a little dump there. They will rinse this coin dry with their HUGE 20% pre-mine.

Too bad because I liked the name, but the picture wasn't big enough. You can't expect a coin to do well when its main purpose is to serve the community of a tiny forum on the internet and the initial distribution was to 500 individuals. Nobody will buy into that.

it's already on exchange, and the lost coins are visible, everyone will know if they will be dumped or not

Do you relly think that any real investor would invest to coin if he must every minute go check that the lost coins are still in that lost wallet?

Of course not!

I am a strong believer in this coin, but this is  very big problem we have here. There for I also dont understand the rush of developing new services before the ground = the coin it self is secured!

I really hope that Adriano can fix this, but I am also a bit surprised that in this big community he is the only one who actually can help the Dev.

Should we start gathering a bounty for the fix?

i am for that if it would help things. i also suggested a dev and one other guy did also.

There have been many offers to help.  People offered to help recover the hard drive but the dev didn't  have any desire to do anything to recover the data because the data was never lost.  The dev has those coins and anyone with any common sense knows that already.

The dev doesn't want any help because the dev has those coins.  It's that simple and blatantly obvious at this point.

The silence from the dev is deafening.

VOTE MINTPAL! - NO SCROLL IS THE GOAL!

https://www.mintpal.com/voting

ok, my votes are at  30179-30184.

Impressive for the spirit of the community. we work together to help COMM hit MintPal, without any money votes.

Good grief! Forget about mintpal for now!

You need to resolve the 20% of the coins issue.

mintpal mintpal mintpal

This is just bizarre.  It's like watching a brainwashed cult.

I think the dev has made the 20% of the coins issue transparent for the community. It just lost, and all of us can supervise where and when that part of coins goes. All we need to confirm is that that part of coins are transparency. that's all.

SO JUST DON'T MENTION THIS ISSUE AGAIN.

The dev has said this.  The dev has said that.   The dev has said nothing substantial regarding those coins other than he had a hard drive crash, didn't have a backup or an encrypted wallet stored on a flash drive, and is unable to recover the hard drive even though many people offered services to recover.  Data on hard drives is recovered all the time why is it so hard this time?  He doesn't need the hard drive recovered because it didn't crash and he's still holding those coins.  It's so obvious.

I'll keep mentioning this issue as long as I want.  How can you not understand how serious that issue is for the future of this coin?  That issue will keep the value of this coin down.  You talk transparency well I don't see it at all.

They could be holding those coins hoping to dump them in a month or more when nobody's watching and people know it.  It's very simple to understand so I don't know why so many of you cant comprehend that.

Yes,we should do our best to do some projects instead discuss the 2 Billion missing here.
Our stronger community demand will eventually solve the problem.
Don't worry.

Those 200 million coins is the most pressing issue that this coin is facing.  Why is that so hard to understand?  This community needs to start demanding answers.  It's common sense that that issue needs to be resolved.  That should be 100% priority.  The more you promote this coin before that issue is resolved the more people  will become aware of those missing coins and walk away.  You do more harm to this coin by promoting it at this time.

Resolve the 200 million coins to an acceptable outcome and then promote.  You have your priorities backwards.

Forming a SWARM team devoted to the promotion of COMM. Members who are willing to comment or upvote articles, posts, videos, etc. in order to promote COMM should apply. I know much of this is already being done, but this will allow us to become more organized in the future. All interested, please send me a PM with your email address. I will keep a listing active on this thread, so that we can see the size and growth of the mailing list.

This is just an initial compilation, since we are still in the very early stages. Let's form the team now, so that we'll have it ready when the need comes!!!

I only have a few addresses so far. Everyone who is supporting this coin should be signing up. Swarm me!

pabloangello
bluewhackadoo
dload.1
shinep

You need to form a swarm team to demand answers from the dev.  The entire crypto community is aware of this coin and they are not buying it because of the shady suspicions regarding those 200 million coins.

I keep hearing about how people are waiting to hear back from the dev.  How long are you going to wait?  What's the point of your swarm?  You promote a coin where 20% is unaccounted for?  Pointless.

FOR THE NEXT MINUTE YOU WILL GET 500 COINS FROM THE COINOK.PW FAUCET!

STARTING RIGHT NOW!!!

http://coinok.pw/faucet/comm/

How is giving away 500 of these coins that have hardly any value going to help this coin?  You guys are all just feeding off each other.  This is looking more and more like a delusional cult.  You need to start spamming this thread with questions regarding the outcome of those 200 million coins.  Being a cheerleader for the losing team just means you're a cheerleader for the losing team.
