341  Economy / Economics / Re: Will they ever be able to afford a house? on: January 13, 2024, 09:57:56 PM
Yes, we don't have to focus on buying a house even though we have a fixed income, but we must prioritize saving for various unpredictable future needs. However, I have looked for information on social media and there are many house builders who offer housing with no down payment and low interest to have a dream home, I think this option should be considered because we cannot possibly stay in a rental house forever and house prices will increase every year
Having savings is indeed very important to be able to guarantee the needs we need in the future, but if we decide to buy a house without a down payment and have low interest, of course we have to think carefully so that when we are moving the house we are going to live in has a lot of problems. , in my opinion, with all the conveniences provided by house developers, I don't think the buildings being built have materials that can last for a long time and it is impossible for them to offer convenience with the little profit they get.
We may not know all the types of materials used to build a house because cheap prices without a down payment and low interest may not be realistic to guarantee that the house will last long, so make sure you buy a house from a trusted house developer and make sure the house developer never includes in the blacklist of customers who have ever bought a house from their company, I think a house developer who is certified in house building will not damage their reputation by selling cheap houses and using house building materials that do not meet the standard tools for building houses, but some companies or house developers Irresponsible people will do anything to gain profits that are detrimental to buyers.
342  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: January 12, 2024, 11:24:51 PM
You are right, every review from websites, influencers and operators is a review that cannot be completely trusted because some of them will receive payment to compile reviews that can influence other people to gamble at scam casinos, they don't care about the reputation of the casino but they will agree to the proposal review when the value offered matches their expectations, so don't trust gambling reviews from outside the forum unless you can analyze some important points yourself to judge the reputation of the casino, just focus every review on the casino in this forum because we assess all aspects without manipulating any reviews because all analyzes are published for the benefit of the gambling community to avoid scam casinos.
I do not think some of them, I think maximum of them provide reviews on websites, YouTube, or somewhere else usually for the payment that they have received. And as they create reviews for the payment they can't create the reality hence they post positive sites of them whether that is correct or not.
Many of the people that provide review on social media are doing that for the fund and we need to know that.
So many influencers keep collecting funds from companies and different projects just to write and do video review of the project or website. We don't have to be decieved about some of the reviews we see on social media because that are targeted towards some particular clients and investors.
you are right, the purpose of influencers to post casino promotional reviews is because they have entered into a work contract with the company to promote their casino and increase the casino's reputation, so after the promotional work contract has been agreed with the company, they must carry out the task of making review posts to attract the interest of visitors, they make reviews are not based on real analysis of that casino, they fabricate fake reviews with convincing writing techniques to deceive visitors on casino review sites.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Habits that can lead to your financial failure in 2024 on: January 12, 2024, 10:58:21 PM
Yes, I agree with this because in my environment this is a reality, many young people in my environment are forcing themselves to be stylish, by buying high-value branded goods, which perhaps is a requirement of today where we have branded goods and high value is a sign that we are rich, but we don't know exactly how many young people are like that and what you say is true, even though it's not that important to them, but maybe it's because of prestige that drives them to buy branded and high-value goods. .
Social media and instant life have influenced young people today. The existence of social media and the feeling of wanting to be recognized makes people willing to throw away their money just to fulfill their desires, not their needs.

This is a big problem and I see it everyday kids these days are so easily influenced and they are persuaded by their peers to buy this and that of course part of growing up is wanting to have some kind of feeling of belongingness that is why kids want to be in the in they want the latest, the trendiest things which is why kids these days make a lot of poor financial decisions
but I can't judge them negatively if they manage their finances well even though their desire is to buy branded goods but they have to set financial limits so they don't waste money, but you have to know that they are motivated to work hard because they want to have the dream item they have long hoped to get. buy from your own income without expecting financial help from parents, so don't forbid them from buying branded goods but advise them to save their income and they should save for future needs.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Will they ever be able to afford a house? on: January 12, 2024, 10:54:32 PM
There are many things that must be prepared to be able to buy a house on credit and I think paying off a house in installments for 20 years is not an option that can be taken if you cannot have a fixed income, even if we have a fixed income it would be better to save the income we have and invest to be able to get the dream house we want.

Yes, not everyone chooses a house that is far from where they work, because it will be very tiring for them if they have to go to work for a long time. Of course it is very tiring if they choose a house that is far from their place of work. I think it's better for us to stay rent a house close to where we work and save the income we have and also invest part of the income we have.
Yes, we don't have to focus on buying a house even though we have a fixed income, but we must prioritize saving for various unpredictable future needs. However, I have looked for information on social media and there are many house builders who offer housing with no down payment and low interest to have a dream home, I think this option should be considered because we cannot possibly stay in a rental house forever and house prices will increase every year
345  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: January 12, 2024, 10:44:16 PM
I think a good property business is not buying and selling houses. but rather becoming a home developer, making housing so the profits generated will be large. if you only buy and sell houses, it is risky especially if the capital is small and not much. because buying and selling houses does not sell immediately.
Becoming a house developer or building a housing complex will also be very risky if no one is interested in living in the complex. Because housing complex developers usually also carry out special promotions to certain people so that the complex can be known by many people and over time it can have residents who are interested in buying a house in the complex. So buying and selling houses by building a housing complex is actually not much different, it's just that the amount of capital required is very different because housing can contain twenty to one hundred housing units in one complex.
House developers must choose strategic locations for house construction areas and they have several differences compared to property businesses, including that they must have a list of several people who want to buy a house before the house project is carried out, but some large companies develop many house projects, up to tens or hundreds of complex houses, Even though there are several advantages to buying a house from a house developer, some people choose to build a house outside a housing complex to avoid the high costs of building or buying a house.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stay poor! on: January 11, 2024, 05:05:43 PM
The listed things above are widely present on the people that belongs to the financially poor bracket. I know it because I been in that bracket. The mindset we should have should be the exact opposite in the list above. I honestly guilty in one of the advices there. Live on one source of income, I've experienced it and had been contented on that kind of state not knowing that one source of income is not how rich became rich. If we want to improve financially, living on a single source income should not be an option.
I think the issue of one source of income should be the main priority at that point because anyone who has one source of income will not be able to reach the targeted economic level, but I have several tips so that you can get additional income to increase your monthly income, the first tip is by renting out assets such as rental cars, houses, shops and the second tip is that you can open services according to your skills, the third tip is investing in gold, bitcoin or others that can get passive profits. Everyone can use these tips to earn extra income, unless you are very careless in managing your finances so as not to set aside some savings for unexpected emergencies.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 10, 2024, 05:10:24 PM
It doesn't matter how much the family is taking care of or trying to take care of. Because no matter how much your family takes care of you, you can gamble secretly without telling them.  It is possible and if you gamble every day then you will fall into deep gambling addiction which will harm you a lot so you should never gamble every day. If you want to enjoy gambling then gamble in your leisure time which may be one or two days a week. this strategy is always better then daily gambling
You have to be sure that your family's care makes an important contribution to the main help in avoiding gambling addiction, so don't think that family care is not important in this case, many gamblers are addicted because their families don't care about outside activities and don't remember when their family found out you were addicted to gambling. I consider the main concern apart from gambling addiction recovery from rehabilitation, but your point is correct that all control depends on ourselves and family care will help prevent you from being associated with gambling addiction recovery.

Every gambler must set a time limit for gambling and a limit of funds he can afford to lose, so don't believe the opinion that someone says the more regularly you gamble, the closer you will be to luck to win, but believe me that's a wrong opinion because he hides losses that are higher than the published gambling winnings.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see a gambling review website that has its own gambling website? on: January 10, 2024, 04:01:39 PM
When money is on the horizon, the concept of ethics often fades into the background. People are ready to do anything for money; including writing fake reviews and deleting scam accusation. When someone plans to make a context page it is hard to stay independent, hard to resist the lust of monetizing your website. I think in I can trust a gambling review site only if I am ready to lose some money doing casino test, as I can fully trust only myself and my experience.
Some gambling review sites publish casino review posts to get referrals from each visitor, so their aim is to get commissions and monetization from visitors and traffic from search engines, they receive orders from fake casinos to compile fake review posts to increase their reputation and they have to make every visitors must be interested in visiting the casino site, but they do not use fake casinos to gamble, I suggest to be careful looking for information on each casino site in search engines and focus the search for information on the bitcointalk forum which has real reviews from those who have experience reviewing sites starting from coding, service, security, and other things related to reviews of online casinos.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth mindset versus fixed mindset on: January 08, 2024, 04:22:05 PM
Even those that retire and may think they do not have to adapt to the new world are mistaken on their beliefs, and the reason for this is that they do not live in a bubble and they need to interact with the world, so for example those that retired a decade ago may not be as familiar with smartphones than those that are retiring just now, and this is a problem as now a great deal of what we do is done through those devices, and if they do not know how to use them and they are not willing to learn they are seriously handicapping themselves.
Precisely that is the difference between people who retired a decade ago and those who retire now because previously the use of devices such as smartphones was only needed for one or two jobs, making more people not want to use smartphones because they didn't there is a lot more work done with the device. Meanwhile, nowadays almost all work has to be done using a smartphone device if the job is in the government sector or in the civil servant category, so there is a very real difference between people who retired in the past and those who retire now.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 08, 2024, 03:54:50 PM
Xavi seems like he cant find the last turn in the team, is like they still have the same failures as always and they are not a consistent team, not matter which team is in front, for example yesterday, you cant allow a weak team like Barbastro score two goals against you.
Barcelona's strength this season has decreased again and several other teams have experienced an increase in strength. Because everyone can certainly judge when a weak team is able to break through Barcelona's goal in the Copa Del Rey, so when Barcelona returns to La Liga and the Champions League. I think Barcelona will experience things that are more difficult than what happened in the Copa Del Rey if Barcelona's performance does not improve this month.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 08, 2024, 03:44:39 PM
This year uefa champions league round of 16 is not tough, the only tough matches in the round of 16 are Barcelona vs Napoli and Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan. I see Borussia Dortmund winning against PSV because Dortmund is more experienced than PSV in the uefa champions League, and Borussia Dortmund topped the group where clubs like PSG and AC Milan are.
The matches for the round of 16 have not yet started because all matches for the Champions League will resume in mid-February even though many people have made predictions from now on. You may say that Borussia Dortmund is more experienced in the Champions League than PSV, but this season there could be quite different results because PSV is also quite strong this season so Borussia Dortmund cannot be careless with the experience they have.
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your feelings if Bitcoin price takes your expectations unaware on: January 08, 2024, 03:39:49 PM
Big losses only occur if someone has already started selling their holdings for fiat, they are too scared to wait for what is cooking. continuing to hold it until the time limit or price limit that has been set is the best. so it takes trust to be able to achieve it.
Several factors can influence diamond hands to hold bitcoin until it reaches the new ATH target, the main factor being the influence of external information from media and social media, so it is very important that bitcoin holders must avoid negative information that will change decisions for long-term holders.

But holders have other reasons for converting bitcoin to fiat, so we should not cast a negative light on bitcoin holders without knowing the details of their reasons for converting to fiat, at least if they make a profit from trading bitcoin.
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Learn to use DEBT in a proper way to create asset on: January 07, 2024, 07:18:40 PM
What differentiates rich people's debt from poor people's debt is that rich people owe debt for something productive and prevent them from using a lot of their cash for goods or assets. They use their debt as much as possible to create new money for themselves.
However, poor people mostly owe money for unproductive things, such as vehicles or other assets, over a long period of time. They don't mind that they are using more of their money to pay down that unproductive debt. And that is what creates a lot of problems for them because they are not wise in using their debt.
Some people thinks loan is only meant to solve problems for things that are not unproductive, loans can also be use to create wealth but most people don't understand this.  Most companies and and organisations they take loan to build and to become firm, and with the loan they collect they can make good amout of profit.  The challenges people are having is that they do not have a good business ideas on how borrowed money can be use to gain wealth.
Someone will be reckless in making a risky decision to use a loan for business or investment purposes even though you have the idea of planning to develop a business from loan funds, but think about the risks if you fail to manage the business because you don't have reserve funds to cover losses, then you must be prepared to bear two risks at once. Firstly, you failed to build a business or your business did not go according to plan but you have lost the loan capital and secondly you are responsible for paying off the debt on time if you don't want to pay high interest. However, I applaud productive business people who can build their business quickly and on target, so they can use a loan for a one year target in developing their business and you have to pay off the debt in one year too.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 07, 2024, 06:35:27 PM
Everyone is opting for online gambling offline gambling is completely illegal in the country where I am staying. The law provides severe punishment when caught by the law enforcement agencies. I think online gambling is safer than that. No one has any rules here no one will know when to play how to play even someone close to you will not understand easily. All the news will remain in itself the government and legal forces can do nothing.
There is no doubt that playing online is much more convenient today, there are many platforms with gambling. But it is really important how the law treats this and whether gambling is allowed. But there is also a second option - poker with friends. I think this will be relevant even with the strongest prohibitions from the state and laws regulating gambling.
Even though legislation has been regulated to prohibit gambling both online and offline, the reality of online gambling is increasing due to weak systems or networks that block access to online gambling. For example, using a VPN can access gambling even though the government has banned access to gambling, the government can tighten the internet network to prohibit online gambling but it seems they are not serious about doing that because of the dark issue that some online casinos pay tips (taxes) to open access to online gambling without the help of VPN tools. The most relevant solution like you said is that betting on poker in a real casino with friends or a small community will be able to avoid regulations prohibiting gambling, but this solution is certainly not recommended unless you are ready for the consequences because your country's regulations do not legalize gambling.
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: January 07, 2024, 05:54:20 PM
You have a good point there, we should never trust any website, especially those casinos that are not being reviewed by users but the operators. And if they are being reviewed by supposed people, how are we sure that they are true human beings and not bots? Peradventure if they are not bots, how are we sure that they are not paid to make the reviews? We should trust nothing online these days, not even the handles of our trusted netizens, they could have been paid as well. But in forums like this and a few other websites where people are reviewing, you can know the genuine ones and the fake ones, and even if you can't know it all, you will know it to some extent that you will be able to trust it to a reasonable extent. Above all, forums are the best places to read the true reviews of things, and if the forum is a long lasting one with track records, you do not have anything to worry about as most of the reviews would be genuine.
356  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Bitcointalk Sekarang ada OTP -2FA on: January 07, 2024, 09:52:48 AM

357  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: January 07, 2024, 08:50:14 AM
additionally there are no reports of shareholders experiencing losses due to the impact of MSTR investing any funds into bitcoin investments.

I would be extremely surprised if anything like that would surface on this particular aspect.
Given the particular Microstrategy voting structure and differentiation between share classes regarding voting powers, I think Micheal Saylor has ample freedom of choice about investment choices before any other shareholder can actually bring any legal action forward.
Each shareholder will respond differently depending on their respective opinions regarding the value of MSTR policy which focuses on increasing bitcoin investment, but perhaps the vote of high class shareholders can provide a significant decision with this policy or Saylor has special authority to management of company assets, that is my opinion and maybe we need another opinion in more detail regarding this discussion. But we can judge from the outside that MSTR continues to increase bitcoin in the portfolio list, perhaps some shareholders support Saylor's decision because the company provides profits to shareholders from bitcoin investments. IMO
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: January 06, 2024, 10:36:39 PM
I say that everything should be open, not just like that, but because my husband (erlier my boyfriend) was active in gambling. I found out about this by chance, but he didn’t hide it and didn’t talk about it.

I just wondered what he was doing and he simply gave me access to all his accounts. I didn’t ask for this, but I was allowed, then of course I wanted to see the history of his account.

I will say this, I was lucky that my man is good at gambling, he systematically withdraws profits, and this was the only time I looked at the history of his bets, after that I never looked at his accounts.

I applaud your partner for being open about various things including gambling, even though generally all couples hide their gambling activities because they assume their partner will strictly prohibit gambling, even though you are given access to monitor the history of their gambling activities and I hope you never experience budget problems with your husband. If you are experiencing budget constraints then you should check again the use of betting funds on your husband's gambling account because gambling is not a machine for making profits, but sometimes we experience high losses due to the influence of emotions that cannot be controlled in gambling.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you willing to bet $50 spin for a chance to win $42 million? on: January 06, 2024, 10:08:17 PM
Why it must be $50?

If you can bet $0.01 and has a chance to win $84K (if we calculate using the same ratio), I don't think $84K is small for most people including the first world country. The amount to spin isn't the problem, the real problem is luck since most people don't have it or not yet happen.
I agree with your opinion, we can gamble according to the limited funds used for allocation of gambling funds and we can place bets for $0.01 for hundreds of spins which can possibly get a higher chance of winning, we don't need to hope for a jackpot of $84k but imagine if we get profit of $1k or $5k just from a spin of $0.01, so we don't have the ambition to win high profits with high betting capital but we have to gamble responsibly and don't damage financial management just because of the ambition to win high profits, but you don't know the unpublicized risk of large losses of every gambler.
360  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: January 06, 2024, 09:24:37 PM
Despite we have established the fact that,  it is important to read the terms and conditions of the casino before registering on them,  we have mentioned also how bad it is for a casino to suddenly wake up and demand for KYC verifications from users.

We have also to mention those casinos that this thread is really meant for,  which are those casinos that demand for unreasonable and unrealistic demands like government-specifically issued data such as tax numbers, These casinos are doing that to frustrate the gamblers and their intentions are pour scam,  we have to identify and tag such actors,  because they are the ones that are destroying the market for the reputable ones.
If the casino asks for KYC verification but does not mention details in the terms and conditions it can still be considered, but if the KYC data required is a tax number, passport or other data that not everyone has then the casino makes KYC verification difficult because they delay or do not process withdrawals , this case occurred at casinos that were indicated to be scammers because they made it difficult for users to request withdrawals.

So the important factor for every gambler is to choose a top casino to gamble at and avoid gambling at a new casino that is not reputable and trusted because you will be in trouble when applying for a withdrawal because it asks for required documents that you don't have so you won't be able to withdraw funds that have been deposited to the new casino.
