1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 28, 2023, 09:53:22 PM
I agree, we can borrow money to do business or do other things, but investing in cryptocurrency is really a bad decision. It is true that cryptocurrencies can bring big profits for some people, but many people also lose a lot. And honestly, I see more losers than winners. Cryptocurrency is too volatile, and we don't know if it will continue to grow in the future or will never rise again, no one knows. Only invest with money we can lose, never invest with money we cannot lose.
Using borrowed funds for crypto investments is not recommended because the purpose of the loan is for capital and profit, but crypto will not guarantee profit for a certain period but while you have to repay the loan monthly, so never use borrowed funds for risky investments. Investers should use the money allocated from the reserve fund so that the funds can be managed during a bear market without the need to disrupt funds for other needs.
1162  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcrypto.cr Sportsbook 100% KYC free available worldwide (Coming soon) on: January 28, 2023, 08:52:05 PM
Thanks and yes, we are commitment 100% to be a truly anonymous platform we are also going to allow players to place sports bets without an account via telegram or email

and we are never going to ask for KYC for withdraws
Interesting, you are committed to never asking for KYC and I think that reason is also the hope of all gambling platforms, but with regard to licenses, there are regulations that must be met to record users with mandatory KYC requirements. So your casino is licensed and how do you exclude KYC if the licensing regulations require requesting KYC from every gambler?
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 28, 2023, 08:42:33 PM
I have the same explanation To him and we all know that Once we can access to a gambling every day for sure that the addiction is very high and also it will make more higher if when a gambler play and win His or her bet. While in the physical casino of you have stable job it will make your time conflict. As we all know that you can not bring the casino everywhere. While online casino you can play whenever you are .
Online casinos run realtime without time limits and can access them anywhere using a mobile device so you can instantly access online gambling. Efforts to overcome online gambling addiction must have other work routines to reduce cellphone use activities, you will automatically not access online gambling so always doing this habit will reduce gambling addiction except in spare time.
1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX drama stressing people for no reason | How to stay neutral on: January 28, 2023, 08:15:21 PM
FTX drama seems to melt down from people's minds now and we are seeing good recovery signs in the market [ in the long term ].
While I do agree that people are slowly forgetting about FTX, its not necessarily a good thing in the sense that they will start using CEX as bank once again, not learning much by mistake of others. But this was kinda expected anyway, since Mt.Gox fail didn't teach people much so why should FTX.
The worst case of FTX will never be forgotten in crypto history but the effects of its impact have been slowly forgotten because the crypto market is not tied to the FTX case unless only those FTX victims have experienced high losses, but some of them will recover losses from Bitcoin investment assets for the long term. So every FTX case has an important lesson to be careful in managing your assets, invest only in Bitcoin and avoid buying hype coins and don't save funds on exchanges, if from the start everyone follows these steps then until now no one has been harmed by the impact of fraud cases and hacking on crypto.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEX deserves all criticism but not the hate on: January 28, 2023, 07:47:28 PM
The bottomline is this: CEX is great for buying/selling your coins but they are not to be trusted with holding your funds for a long time. That's where things go south fast. We trust these entities too much to not pull some shit that can potentially be a reason to lose our funds just because they are registered and we can legally go after them. They are named 'exchange' for a reason; they primarily facilitate exchanges between currencies, and they're not supposed to keep your funds for an extended period of time. If anything happens, you are partly liable because you left your funds there in the first place.
The main advice is don't trust anyone to manage your funds other than yourself, many cases of hacking happen to exchanges although some exchanges have reserve funds to recover losses due to hacks, but there is no guarantee that the exchange will be responsible for your assets in the long term, so there is no reasons to trust exchanges and preferably keep assets in your wallet or cold wallet. The worst case of FTX has hurt the trust and security factor of the exchange and it will not be the last case, so increase the safety of your assets to transfer them to your personal wallet immediately.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I managed to invite 1 of my friends to invest in bitcoin on: January 28, 2023, 07:29:40 PM
I encourage you to take him to the forum where he can find useful information to start his bitcoin investing journey. But honestly, you shouldn't be in a rush to give someone investment advice. You are new to the market, so you do not have much knowledge about the market, and giving advice to someone is risky for both of you. If someone wants to invest, refer him to the forum or anywhere he can learn about bitcoin, and if he invests or not, let him decide.
You are right, He should provide reference links to forums to learn crypto knowledge, we already have various threads for beginners to know bitcoin and it is very useful for him to explore the basic knowledge he should learn before investing. However, I appreciate that the OP has tried to introduce bitcoin to other people, it's just that you have to increase your knowledge of crypto investments and also have to study the risks of investing so you don't worry about the impact of market fluctuations and you can manage your investment portfolio properly.
1167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 27, 2023, 09:58:45 PM
I personally also feel the same way as you, today's market is quite confusing because if you look at the trend we are still in a bearish moment but lately bitcoin has increased quite significantly in the last two weeks, it's quite a dilemma for me even though I I've bought bitcoin before and been happy, but this month's hike I'm still wondering.
The price of bitcoin is in an unstable phase but tends to increase after a few small corrections, I assumed beforehand that the market would soon return to the $20k price but the market very easily returned to the price of $23k, the altcoin market greatly benefited from the significant market increase in january . But in feb we are not sure the market will focus on recovery but there is some market correction to come so it is better to prepare assets to buy at lower prices for long term assets.
1168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 27, 2023, 09:56:18 PM
Anyone can order at any price in the market, they are free but there are some restrictions regarding the lowest order price on some exchanges. Binance has set $4,636 as the lower limit for buy orders ((will fluctuate based on market conditions)), so anyone can order price above it now, but that may never happen again. Dump can happen at any time, but only if the market is hit by bigger problems than Luna and FTX during the year.
Placing a buy order for a low of $4k would be unrealistic to buy bitcoin and even impossible to fall to a low of $11k, at least the $18k area is potentially the next low in case of a correction high from negative news effects, but in terms of market upside currently only $20k low which is probably the lowest price as the market trend is significantly up.
1169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason why I will never help anyone to invest in crypto on: January 27, 2023, 09:41:02 PM
I can see that if you helped them in the end, they won't credit you for it and they would write stories about their success. Fuck that, man.
Don't just ignore them, OP. Cut connections with them also. No one's going to enable their lazy asses.
We already know the character of friends not respecting us after they benefit from the investment advice we have shared, I will also ignore them because I don't have time to care for them and maybe just suggest to them to teach themselves about crypto so they will appreciate the advice other people and can be responsible for the risk of coin investment.
1170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone living with older people? on: January 27, 2023, 09:21:56 PM
It’s hard to educate people and change their mindset when their minds are already closed about it and chose to believe the other way around. So instead of trying to educate them, why not just let them see your proofs  that you are really in profits with bitcoin. It’s not that you will expose your bankroll to them, but create a project instead that will make them believe that bitcoin is legit and will provide huge profits as long as you focus on how to be successful on it.
They only need a technical explanation about bitcoin so it doesn't matter with the evidence we get from bitcoin investment profits, I think we have our own way of explaining crypto to ordinary people and even some of the posts above have actually helped OP to explain bitcoin to people their parents, so stay patient with them and make sure you communicate with them at the right moment.
1171  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: January 27, 2023, 09:11:35 PM
Second the motion as we all know there are many casino who offer or saying that they don't have any KYC but in the end when you are going to withdraw your winning then they start asking KYC so its not a good practice promising that they don't have KYC as we all know that promises are ment to be broken. Its better to say that KYC is a must rather than catching the attention of a gambler using lie it because they promise that theres no KYC.
We can conclude that there is no casino that does not require KYC even though it is not stated in the terms and conditions, so any non-KYC gambler is not guaranteed anonymous because they will be asked for KYC at any time even if the casino is not licensed, the purpose of the casino is to require KYC because gamblers will make withdrawals From winning on slots, gamblers have no guarantee of being able to withdraw funds because the casino will not verify the KYC provided, so it is better to switch to choosing a top casino that has been recommended in forums.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 27, 2023, 05:58:58 PM
Actually, I have honestly been spoiled especially because of Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Anderson Silva, and a lot of others. I have seen them fight. So it is going to be really hard for me to find interest in these types of fights which are happening on the 4th of February.
I also followed the whole fight for all the different divisions even though Khabib is my best fighter but he has retired and some fighter from Russia will potentially regenerate "The young Khabib" to represent him for the future. I've reviewed the feb 5th fight list but I don't have a reliable fight and it's not like I missed watching that fight.

Quote
Actually, in my time zone, it's going to be on 5th February but that's all right. I am also not going to give any predictions. Because even though I say I am not going to follow this event very closely, I know that almost every fight in this event is going to be very competitive and close.
Each fighting event has the advantages of each fighter, the fight is not a big PPV event but the list of fighters might be potential candidates to fight the belt owner in the next fight, I am interested in analyzing the fight between Jaka Seragih vs Anshul Jubli for the Road to UFC final fight.
1173  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 26, 2023, 08:50:50 PM
Well, since the gambler who placed the bet didn't have his identity revealed, as the article says, I think there isn't any issues in sharing the fact with more people through the news article, as it's a very curious situation, besides being an extra alert for gamblers who think low odds mean safe bets. That this negative experience can at least have some positive outcomes if another gamblers can take it as a lesson for their lives as well!
There is an important point to consider from the news, I agree that no one is harmed as long as the news is spread without publishing the identity of the gambler, in sports betting there is no certainty to choose the winner even in this case the gambler has analyzed the big odds will win but the final result of the match is losing position. So the lesson from that case is that we must be careful in managing gambling and reconsider every bet to use reasonable bets to reduce the risk of big losses.
1174  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: January 26, 2023, 08:28:03 PM
The casino will also not use data on KYC to commit a crime because if they manage the casino properly they can get huge profits so it is impossible to commit a crime by utilizing user data from KYC.
As crypto casinos develop, I am also sure that each of these casinos will also impose KYC requirements on each of their customers in the future.
If you provide KYC data to the wrong casino, there is no guarantee that your data will be safe, like you join a new project but you don't do any research before submitting KYC data. So make sure you provide KYC data for reputable, licensed and trusted casinos.

The implementation of KYC requirements at each casino is due to licensing regulations, so you must understand about the statement and not because the factor of the development of casinos will add KYC requirements in the future.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 26, 2023, 08:14:05 PM
In crypto casinos, they are requiring basic KYCs for most of the platforms that I've signed up with. Level 2 verification only occurs when there are problems detected on your account that the casino thinks you're cheating the system, or you just won big and, for KYC/AML compliance, they need to do further verification of who you really are. For that online casino that the government fined, they are obviously not complying with KYC/AML regulations, hence why they received the fine in the first place. Delaying winnings are totally not okay, and asking for KYC only after someone wins is totally fishy because that is already a breach of what the regulation on KYC/AML states.
Many casinos take advantage of level 2 verification to the detriment of users and that's why it's better not to avoid KYC early than you can't apply for a withdrawal after a big win because actually there is no casino that really doesn't require KYC for licensed casinos, I hope the government checks some other casinos with the same case, this effort will reduce casinos to cheat gamblers.
1176  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 25, 2023, 09:22:36 PM
If you expect the government to subsidize the basic necessities, you will get nothing.
You must understand that the price increases of fuel, electricity, and some foods are caused by the revocation of subsidies.
So, it makes no sense to hope the government to subsidize the basic necessities. They surely won't think about it, they even want to revoke the subsidy on other sectors.  Cry
I am very concerned that at least the government maintains the subsidies it has facilitated for the people for years, but removes the subsidies when the people's economy screams. The government's move was very bad because the people did not get facilities from the tax fees they had to pay every year. I expect the government from the new leadership to care about the people more than everything and the prospective leaders from among intelligent people who always have the option to prioritize the welfare of the people.
1177  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 25, 2023, 09:11:22 PM
Yeah, having a loan just because you need it and have nothing to guarantee that you will be able to pay back is going to bite one in the ass. Imagine having that piece of land that is truly yours and you will have no landlords nagging you every day about your rent.
Relating to the OP's statement, he really needs a long term loan for a solution to owning a house instead of having to pay monthly rent, technically he's just switching from rent to loan but he already owns his own house, but it's important to note that the loan repayments are worth the cost monthly rent then there is no reason he can't pay off the loan because he can pay off the house rent for 6 years.

Op had said 75% of the loan would be government funded interest free and the rest would be handled by private banks for low interest so it was logical to apply for a loan. but I don't know the specific economic conditions of the OP and but if you don't have a stable income it's better not to apply for a loan.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which company will be next to accept Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2023, 08:40:05 PM
In my city, you can pay with cryptocurrency for an online order at a pharmacy, and several cafes and restaurants also accept cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin. It seems to me that it is better to accept cryptocurrencies at local levels in our cities than to wait for acceptance from some big company.I know that I will not buy myself, for example,a Mercedes for bitcoin. But dinner, for example, in a restaurant under the house is quite.
I am very happy to receive information that bitcoin adoption is expanding, acceptance of bitcoin payments in restaurants, cafes and other markets will expand crypto adoption for the middle and lower tier of the economy, so crypto adoption will increase if everyone can choose to pay via bitcoin instead of adopting bitcoin from a company that can only be enjoyed for the top tier of the economy.
1179  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: January 25, 2023, 08:21:37 PM
Yes, it's true, the increase in fuel and food prices will be worse than before because the world is facing an endemic phase and the Russian-Ukrainian War which makes the food sector experience greater demand than the amount that can be produced.
This is where the government must make the right policies so that food prices return to normal, it's a pity that food traders and entrepreneurs are threatened with bankruptcy. People with low incomes also have an impact.
The effect of rising fuel, electricity and food prices is the main trigger that influences the increase in prices of all other goods, the government should find a solution to subsidize the needs of basic goods and fuel prices to reduce the price of goods, but the government's efforts have not been optimal so far and people are increasingly suffering from the effect of the current price increase, they have lost their jobs from mass layoffs, their cost of income is lower than the salary of their previous job.
1180  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 25, 2023, 08:09:40 PM
Having a house is like another investment, but it is heck of a worth of an investment in the end. I had rented before in the short term and it is almost like throwing away money just to survive and have a roof temporarily. I would just rent if my workplace was like really far from my home, but if transportation could handle it anyway, I would prioritize that first.
Owning a house is everyone's dream and actually no one wants to rent a house even though the offer is cheap if he already has a comfortable place to live, OP should already have a house from the accumulation of rental fees for 6 years but that doesn't mean he has wasted money on necessities a place to live but because he doesn't have enough savings to buy a house for the down payment. Before he decides to apply for a loan, he must ensure that he has a stable monthly income for living expenses and sufficient expenses to cover the loan.

Quote
Me and my partner have a plan of having house first before being together. Not sure why living with parents is looked down in other countries, while in here, it is technically fine.
Everyone has different reasons why they don't choose to live with their parents, the reason might be that he already has a partner and is more comfortable choosing to live in a different location. But if the financial situation worsens, the main option is to live with your parents instead of staying at a friend's house.
