Right now it has to be HOdlcoin.

I see, looks like you got unlucky there. Keep it going.

How many blocks per day is FX 8320E?
At 50% I got one to six blocks in the recent days. Last 24 hours: four blocks. Totally depends on the luck though, as you can see by my three block series. Enjoy the wallet mining while it is still easy, when the standalone miner comes out the sysadmins will do their thing. Wow Eule, this was a nice series here. Respect. I just bought some coins from a Miner, I have just a Pentium i3 with a very small hash rate. But I got even some HOdl as interest payments and have also fixed parts of my Holding fixed for some months. Very nice interest payments Yeah I was quite surprised. With 50 hashes/sec you should be able to get a block or two overnight. Love the interest too, the future of this coin will be interesting. I am mining on an e5 2670 v3 24GB RAM (Windows 2012 R2) and get 1-2 blocks per day.
Hashrate? Can't believe my shitty AMD beats a CPU that is 10x more expensive: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=1220&cmp[]=2374] At half power...

Critical bug: When starting the wallet with -gen=1 the little miner icon shows that no mining is going on. Difficulty has indeed gone up again, still finding some blocks with an i7 950 and an FX-8320E, both at half power so around 180 hashes/sec. Also look at these three blocks in a row I mined, all on the 8320:

Added 75, now 1575 total.

Hello from alcurEX exchange. If you like to get HODL listed on alcurEX, you can use our "Add New Coin" service. You will find it under EXCHANGES top menu. halibit https://alcurex.orgI don't think this coin needs to bribe exchanges to be accepted.

What distro are you using? I'm on Debian and it worked flawlessly: checking for SSL... yes
Sorry for the tease. Maybe your distro uses an old version of libssl-dev and it would be worth a try to use the testing repo. Or maybe someone can supply binaries, despite the problems that come with that?

I'm getting an error "checking for SSL... no". But I have openssl installed. Any advice? Thanks.
Did you install libssl-dev? Hashrate is rising quickly btw, almost 20000 now.

Not sure which commands you mean on the first page, currently running with 2gb and 8 threads so 16 threads total, perhaps also has to do with me being on Win7. 4 of 8 threads of an i7 950 on Linux get around 100 hashes/sec too, can't wait for a standalone miner. Since the Fx8320 is the better CPU, this also indicates that there might be potential for improvement of mining performance on Windows. edit: I forgot, I have the FX8320 E... Time to overclock it.

Nice coin and concept. Getting ~105 hashes per second on my FX8320. I have spread it over time a bit. Some 1 month, some 2 months, half year etc. It's interesting that this is possible here.
It's really unique and a gamechanger, isn't it? No need for the general user to go to shady places to invest, just hodl! And in contrast to the complex PoS systems many coins have, hodling is super simple and transparent for the user.

^yes, I recommend searching the YAC thread.

I mined Magi with my Odroid XU3 Lite at ~9kh/s iirc.

How can NiceHash sell GPU hashing power when their miner doesn't support the algorithm?! edit: Nevermind, didn't notice the Miners column...

Are there plans for a p2pool version?

I have the following problem on 3 different machines: I get almost same hash speed with 2, 3, or 4 threads (latest spexx miner).
Laptop i3 M350: -t 2: 17,.. kh/s -t 3: 17,.. kh/s -t 4: 18,.. kh/s
Desktop i3 4330: -t 2: 32,.. kh/s -t 3: 38,.. kh/s -t 4: 38,.. kh/s
Desktop i3 2100: -t 2: 21,.. kh/s -t 3: 26,.. kh/s -t 4: 27,.. kh/s
Any ideas guys? Thanks!
i3 = 2 cores, so I'd say that is normal. edit: Seems like Spexx answered that already, and much better too.

Little question: I'd like to host a p2pool node for XMG. XMG uses the M7M algo, so I guess there are some other modifications necessary, not just the values in the networks.py?
|
|
|
Ooooo let's all have a CUDA miner available to us. That will ensure that we can increase our carbon footprint while mining for bugger-all.
#facepalm
When will people realize that over-mining XMG decreases the block reward? It used to be a minimum value, but now it can be zero.
Answer: Probably never. I have been banging on about it for months.
At what nethashrate will the block reward go to 0?

8350 4,5 t8 max 105 khash
4790k 4,4 t8 max 120 khash
Not to forget the AMD is much cheaper: FX-8350: 155€ i7-4790k: 300€ @wolf0 and joelao95: Any chance the new miners can run on ARM?
