Would you prefer to buy/sell/store bitcoins in PayPal vs other companies given the option?

Paypal will steal your bitcoins. Dont trust them!

345  Economy / Speculation / Re: A perma-bull's take on this situation on: September 25, 2014, 01:55:38 PM

I think we will see $375 and stay around 4xx for a long time though before anything jumps off again.

That is quite possible scenario
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2,300 billionaires, each holding $600m of cash on average on: September 25, 2014, 12:59:50 PM
If you were given 1 dollar for every second since the day you were born, you would be a millionaire by 10days old.

At this same rate, you wouldn't become a billionaire until you are 31 yrs old….

a billion is an insane amount of money, and no one should have that amount before the whole world has enough food and necessities.

a million is not all that much, i mean it's nice to have, but it's not as much as you'd think.

many people in a western society will actually earn a million or more throughout their lives, but most of it will be eaten away by taxes and also housing and food etc.

billionaires should be prohibited by law and all put in prisons for life time.

Next thing is Jr Member celebration, right?

Kinda useless to celebrate if your rank is anything below Sr Member.

Some people just love to party. There is nothing wrong with that.

350  Economy / Economics / Re: World population growth on: September 25, 2014, 12:45:21 PM
100,000,000 births this year and 40,000,000 deaths year

With Ebola those 40m deaths will escalate fast. Just wait a year or two.

Indeed seems like things are getting worse: http://www.timesofoman.com/News/40383/Article-US-centre-predicts-up-to-1m-Ebola-cases-by-January-end

they should just put everyone who has ebola in quarantine, it's not that hard.

It is quite hard since its somewhat difficult to detect who has ebola so it takes time and meanwhile they verify if its ebola or not it already spread.

of course is hard. unless you want to put healthy people together with sick ones, and just close one area and let all die there.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very interesting points on Bitcoin by a great Economist on: September 25, 2014, 12:43:33 PM
On the other hand he is correct on competitors, after getting punched by some governments it could be replaced by a competitors who faces much less restrictions.

But that will not happen since bitcoin developers will kiss governments ass in anyway they can.

Kissing ass of government means more burden to the coin and to the services using it.
Bitcoin was supposed to be friction free money. Now if licences start appearing and hoops to be jumped that means friction.

supposed to was, but will not be. you will see that soon.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We neet bitcoin ATMs on: September 25, 2014, 12:39:42 PM
Yeah, yes we do, but we need to stop the ID scan and all that fucking orwelian looking shit. We need to do it anonymous FFS, otherwise it defeats the point. Look at this shit:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnm4xFC2xNo

We need to avoid this shit ASAP. We need to make it simple. Put FIAT into machine, Bitcoin gets transported in your wallet, period! We need to hire people as security to avoid people robbing you and what not and that's about it. No one is going to want to scan their ID's and creepy shit like that.

Yes i saw this. This is totally push people out of BTC. Such ATMs should be prohibited by law!
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American dollar climbs most in 10 months while Bitcoin stagnates on: September 25, 2014, 12:35:25 PM
You know what has been climbing in value recently?

The Zimbabwe 100 trillion bill, from a low of ~$7 to a recent high of ~$26.

ALL FIAT IS SCAMCOIN. For most fiat, you just don't know it yet.

omg, they put pile of stones on their money.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is not a blatant shitcoin, seriously? on: September 25, 2014, 11:58:43 AM
Please name one coin that is not a blatant shitcoin/scamcoin/P&D scheme

Make sure to provide real arguments

°MM360°

there are many, but if you plan to buy any coin that is not shitcoin/scamcoin/P&D scheme is better you dont buy anything. Read, listen and learn. And you will find perfect coins for your future easily.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEWS Litecoin and dogecoin support from paypal on: September 25, 2014, 11:56:37 AM
No this news means both coins will be going down, after the initial pump from the news.

Look at Doge - capitalization went down & down after they spent money to promote at the Olympics and Nascar.  Paypal accepting LTC and Doge is like giving a 14 year old $60,000 on a credit card and going away for a month and coming back and finding all the money has been spent.

You have to multiply this child for 148.5 million active users of paypal that will begin to know and use litecoin and doge (and bitcoin  Wink)

I think he does. And what will happen after some time when this 150 millions see that LTC and Doge dont bring anything else then BTC does. Why they are special is because LTC was second and Doge put lots in promotion.

But overall, right now they will crop their profit of their specialty. Coins with filling niches that BTC will never bring, will just have to wait a bit more for their time to come.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero taking over the alternate section? #3 Crypto in weeks? on: September 25, 2014, 11:50:49 AM
Monero threads are going over the top.  They have a really strong community and sound mechanics.  Just fended off an attack by BCX.  Will Monero be #3 soon?  Huh

I think now whit paypal adoption of BTC. LTC and Doge, top3 spots are taken for some time. But in a year or 2 who knows.
357  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 24, 2014, 12:57:08 PM
That was a no show. Was hoping for some fun. Had popcorn ready too.
BCX is probably laughing at the price swing.

he got at least 500 BTC of cheap Moneros to trade in 2 weeks time at double price. Or he wil hold to get 10 times profit soon. Who knows.
All this newbie accounts shilling and trolling and FUDing was his "friends in crime". Rich people, want to get richer.  Attack started a week or 2 ago and ended 2 days ago.

But thing is, they expected with all this effort they put in to get their Moneros at 0.001BTC.

so you see how far is from millionaire to billionaire?
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: PAYPAL PARTNERS WITH BITPAY ET AL on: September 24, 2014, 11:56:00 AM
Really good news for BTC. But what I concerned is that whether it will push buying activities more than selling in the long run. Or it is just for the speculators to buy in the rumors and sell on the news.

yes good news usually push price down
