they pull 6,600 watts each so 20kwatts

ours pull 2,500 so 2x = 5 kwatts
[,,,]

No dice on swamp cooler. Town has poor water with tons of sediment.

Hard to use swamp cooler in a tight spot.

Out other room has a hessaire swamp cooler it works well because we keep a distance with it so the sediment does not coat the gear with calcium deposits.

Als we want to keep that open door closed.  But will will use a 5000 cfm blue fan to pump air in to the room.

look to right side of this photo we will pump in 500 cfm on corner
[snip img]

I was thinking about temporary storage tank from which water can be recirculated continuously so that you can also end up using very little water from continuous supply line. Anyways, you already have jumbo fans in plans which can take care of the whole operation.

Also I am reading you are providing the free heat to warehouse which means you will need to have hot air coming out of the exit blower. This itself makes it bad option to use the honeycomb sheets at entrance.

Better go with your plan itself considering the CFM flow, its already bigger project and adding such water sheets would make it more messy.

That's around 3x reduction in the power. Well, 60,000 BTU/h seems reasonable power to cool down the entire system

I was thinking how about you place another blue fan at the entrance. Obviously it will get much noisy as it could but can push air constantly as compared to the conventional fan that has been installed at the entrance.

Going further if you are anyways trying to experiment various methods of cooling then how about doing this:

1. Install a blue fan with 60,000 BTU output.
2. You will need to build a skeleton frame which will cover the entire back of blue fan.
3. Look for the HoneyComb Pads OR also called as Winter Mattress in some regions.
a. These are water compatible sheets, you can deep them in water or somehow circulate water stream through it. Once the blue fan sucks air, this time it will suck pre-cooled air.
b. This can increase the efficiency of cooling to many folds and it will cost you no significant energy.

343  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New cooling setup for my asic room. on: May 30, 2023, 06:03:53 AM
That’s amazing set up you have got. I can see standing fan on the entrance side while blue 5000 cfm fan on the other side of the room. So logically you are pushing Cool air from one end and sucking the hot air out of the room with blue fan.

But how about cooling the entire room with Air conditioner. I’m just adding up this because the room is pretty closed one and can get cooled down pretty fast.

That’s just traditional way, but I’m sure you might have thought about it already and there are some issues with direct room cooling?
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the disagreement between the Government, Bank and Bitcoin? on: May 29, 2023, 06:04:30 PM
The quarrel is due to the fact Bitcoin came out of cryptography method that had existed way before bitcoin was actually launched on the blockchain and government or financial institutes were incapable to invent it all by themselves. Now bitcoin stands as one of the greatest investment in entire world. I mean it quickly picked up attention of developers around the world, gave rise to enormous marketplace that was just dream before 2009. I am pretty sure government is surprised to see newborn tech like this disrupting their own money land. There it is, that is the point when government and financial institute came together to fight against bitcoin but with failure.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: My wealth plan for next 3 years on: May 29, 2023, 04:06:24 PM
That is not going to work with extreme ends because you have not considered any ups and downs in the market that will come in those three years of time period. Imagine, you taking the loan at interest rate of 7-2% per anun and buying bitcoin with market price “X”.  However in two years bitcoin went bearish which could be anywhere between 10-50% from the buy price then how would you payback the interest and loan amount itself. You will end up losing lot of money over the period of time and huge losses will be for sure. Better check the strategy of investing loan amount on volatile market such as Bitcoin.
346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed DCA Strategy When Buying Bitcoin on: May 29, 2023, 03:14:38 PM
Hmm, lot of calculations goes into the DCA. To work on it technically we need to understand how much he sold, how much he bought back from the same money that is compounding. If they have done compounding investment which is buying from the profit + principle amount they are actually way profitable than what we think. If we just going to see a overview such as buying and selling at different prices then that’s going to mess up all the calculations for sure.

Adding more comments from above posts such as cold storage movement etc the math never adds up. May be the actual profits data could only be shared by owner of that address.
347  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitCool BC-888 Dielectric Coolant - Based on SLIC Mechanism - Profitable? on: May 26, 2023, 04:41:01 PM
No moving parts, because that is a circulating system where pumping station is located outside your work area and does all the dirty job out there. Basically it's like a car engine cooling system where you have coolant tank, in-built pumping mechanism that keeps flushing the coolant throughout the engine periphery and thus carrying away the heat along with it. The SLIC mechanism improves the process on larger scale and in reality it's even easier since you get more "surface area". Ideally, the higher the surface area, the more is efficiency of cooling the entire system.

Nonetheless, you can already see how it is having multiple panels increasing the surface area even further. The magic also happens with the coolant which is capable of carrying most of the heat.

I am not sure about the cost neither have any clue. The quote is mostly based on your working area.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: May 26, 2023, 03:08:54 PM
There is no normal being that loves getting losses on business, career, investment and trades that's why even company holders make financial policies to keep record of investment and profits flows. And unlike other business bitcoin also makes sales and losses if you do not investment wisely....is nice when you put in what can not put you sickbed or gives you hypertension, don't invest out of what you cannot withstand the loss.

Is better to use small money or learn risk management first before investing especially newbies.

I am not this type. If I am having spare money then its gonna be spare money at any cost. If I utilize that money for the investments then it breaks the law of accounting for me. I mean its of no use if I am going to withdraw this money and keep losing (or possibly doubling) it because it would be either of the cases mentioned. What if I lose it? It will start creating a burden on myself and thus I would lose more and more in the future cases. This breaks down the expenses Vs Savings math and hence wont be good for me in long run.

If I am investing anything into the crypto for example, then it is going to be solid money which was intended for the same. This is how I was able to save lot of money in my wallet in the bitcoin form too. I did not invest or buy/sell it because it was savings and its growing slowly. So no doubt this formula works for me. 349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube influencers to counter trade? on: May 26, 2023, 02:26:39 PM
#Metoo, I hardly think that I have ever got influenced by any youtuber or any other social media influencer. They are just making money with their followers and their views. Most of the time famous accounts will invest heavily in the paid views, and what's leftover as small portion is organic traffic. That too I hardly think follow them seriously and get influenced. If I am scrolling through YouTube shorts then I would literally see people sharing their graphs and making thousands of dollars in 1 minute video.

If you check, the account with thousand to million followers would do nothing but advertise the related products, get super thanks, paid versions of videos and in play ad videos etc etc. Basically they are getting paid for virtual influence. Lolz. So that is a big no for sure.
350  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Is it possible to recover satoshis from a 10 plus year old account on CGMINER? on: May 26, 2023, 07:35:56 AM
Interesting know that there are some ways to get back the lost bitcoins. I assume this is only possible when you have that particular PC on which the mining happened and *.dat file is stored? If yes, then it means that particular PC and dat file has got coded connection which may not work on the other PC if downloaded or transferred. If no, then why is that so and through current advances why is it still that much hard to do it.

OR is it possible to get the bitcoins back even if you have *.dat file from some other device but now want to get back the bitcoins from it. How this file works and what is the information that is stored in it which makes it so helpful while recovering the bitcoins?

The PC or miner software isn't connected to the wallet, if you have the wallet files you can use it on any operating system that it supports, of course, most often that file will be encrypted and you will need a password to decrypt it so you can access the coins, but finding that wallet file is the first step to any "hope", if you have it, you have a good chance of remembering or even brute-forcing your way in, if you don't have it, your chances of meeting your coins again are 0.

Eh, my trust on the paper wallets followed by multiple new generated address is rising day by day as I learn the complications in storing your data on any device or keeping the coins on hardware's. @OP, your story is now getting similar to the UK guy who appealed in the court for digging out his old computer hard drive which is now buried under hundreds and thousand ton of waste in the wasteland. Because if you are not going to have the access to those file or data then it is already proven its useless to run behind that.

It is really dangerous to have the data on anything that is electronic. It can get fried, corrupted, or lost anytime without prior notice. Imagine working on computer peacefully and suddenly there is high electricity voltage frying the HDD and losing that .dat* file with it. There goes the bitcoin.

I think one should mine the bitcoins ----> transfer to paper wallet --> Lock it away.  The best course of action so far.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Fiat - the Difference That no One Talks About on: May 25, 2023, 06:01:33 PM
The membership based system? You might have understood it in the wrong way because fiat system does not work like that. Banks are literally circling assets. I mean they are one of the financial systems which are working smartly. They use our own money to earn more money with the help of interests on loan they give to others. It’s a sophisticated system which is in place since hundreds of years. In a different ways, under different constitutions but fiat is giant authority run by government. You have not rights, and in the emergency situations we already know what has happened.

On the other hand we already know how bitcoin works. It’s one of the fungible token, if you hold the keys then you are the bank or member of your own wallet itself. That’s the biggest difference and I believe it’s working just fine.
352  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin 2008/09-2022 History Paperback/Hardcover Book on: May 25, 2023, 05:14:07 PM
Why does it say 'suspected spammer'?
Because all you do is spam the forum with information about your upcoming book. People don't like it and have started reporting you. The admins have noticed it and began proceedings to have you banned. It usually takes 2-3 days before everyone gets on board. That's why you are seeing that notification. It's either that or theymos played an April Fools joke on all of us.  Wink

Damn I read the entire thread deeply and I was so into this book going image by image and seeing how the OP is building it so far. First of all very impressive but when I saw this message and I was little frighten in blink of an eye. Lolz. I really thought the whole book and the op is spammer and then you got me with your tiny text man. My entire April rolled over in front of my eyes. Haha. Theymos did well considering it’s stillborn joke at this point too.

@OP, I gotta say that’s an amazing book you are writing. The dedication you are putting into it is something many fail at. Congratulations for your book and hope to see you releasing it soon. Smiley
353  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Minners in Kazakhstan pay high electricity tax on: May 25, 2023, 04:38:33 PM
I think we should ask the answers to those miners who are being generous enough to pay that much taxes on electricity (& electricity bills itself). How could they be beating such high energy costs and be one of the top country to have big mining farms. What is the source of those bills and their costing, they really do not make up the math neither they are profitable in straight couple of years mining.

They must be holding their coins, putting more efforts on that front to profit?

The price hike is 5 times than the basic electricity so I am pretty sure it’s not worth it.
354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which wallet should a beginner choose? on: May 25, 2023, 03:18:46 PM
I am paper wallet guy these days. Yes I have invested in the hardware wallet and it’s entirely different story for me when it comes to keeping safe and carrying it around or making sure that physical wallet is safe and sound. I am not sure what would be your impression on this but I would suggest to buy any of the mentioned wallets above the only stuff is you have to handle it careful. Imagine hardware wallet like a pen drive and we all know what happens to them and how they get lost all the time. No I am not putting you down from buying it but just make sure you are ready for that. Well, I have taught myself that paper wallets are even way better than this and you could keep bitcoin safer in them.
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: % idiots among investors on: May 24, 2023, 07:43:45 PM
Honestly be thankful that we are seeing bitcoin as the third best choice in such short period of time. I don’t know but I think this is winning situation for the bitcoin. It’s not joke to be that popular just with over a decades of time and from the time period when people are actually started to understand what bitcoin is and how it is also one of the investment asset that can challenge you great deal of profits.

Just give it another decade and you will see how it will start switching the positions and making its upward trend. Bitcoin will get mined and demand will rise on faster scale as compared to the Gold rush. I am sure we will see prices and popularity both rising at an alarming rates.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation in the world grow by 2023? on: May 24, 2023, 06:39:15 PM
I still consider this as factual analysis and there are many answers to this. First of all inflation is literally unpredictable and situation could turn upside down any moment. For example, what if war between Russia and Ukraine stops suddenly? What if all the Russian bans are uplifted, there forms a nice and calm treaty amongst the nations and oil circulations starts back online.

Such changes can literally happen at anytime thus giving the inflation an entirely different direction. Or this could go even in the wrong direction. Now consider nothing that is mentioned above happens, and there is worsen situation of the war which turns towards the mega nations around the world. Well that day we don't want to see and feel, and it could lead to years of inflation with non ending crisis.

So basically anything is possible for sure.
357  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Marathon CEO Responds to Why the Miner Tax Plan Won’t Work on: May 24, 2023, 05:32:50 PM
I am not really sure how taxation will reduce the green energy production because most of the countries do not levy heavy tolls / sometime zero taxes on the green energy products. Not sure what is the structure in the USA but that has got to be free one. Apart from this, miner and electricity is one of greatest relationship one see because nothing works without that.

USA electricity cost is already skyrocketed and with the time it is going to be more than that per unit consumed. The reason is short fall of electricity production due to high consumptions in the countries like California, New York which are main hub of all.

Anyways, Miners are not giving much preference to the US. There are number of nations which are already providing green energy with no taxes, fresh environment and much more. So there it is, more ways to do it.
358  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Is it possible to recover satoshis from a 10 plus year old account on CGMINER? on: May 24, 2023, 03:53:14 PM
Cgiminer folder isn't going to help you recover your lost coins, you are going to need the wallet files, try to find the wallet.dat on all drivers, search for

Code:
*.dat

in C, D or whatever drives/partitions you have on that PC, assuming you don't recall using a different PC for the wallet, it should be there somewhere on your PC.

Also, don't respond to any PMs, especially by newbie accounts trying to help you out, they are most likely trying to steal your coins.

Interesting know that there are some ways to get back the lost bitcoins. I assume this is only possible when you have that particular PC on which the mining happened and *.dat file is stored? If yes, then it means that particular PC and dat file has got coded connection which may not work on the other PC if downloaded or transferred. 359  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Are you doing this as a Bitcoin miner also? on: May 24, 2023, 03:10:50 PM
That does not seem to be properly calculated plan? How can someone profit with the repetitive buying and selling of the ASICS. The price is always changing for the devices and it's tedious job, since you do not even recover the investment that has been done on the  machines and you would end up selling them in the losses. Something really does not add up here and perhaps such miners are short term gainers. May be they can turn it off, let the bitcoin price go boom and then fire up the machines again, that might add up something. However, as far as I have played around the BTC mining profit calculator, the picture is entirely different. People are literally requiring the miners to work day and night for straight 2-3 years to have ROI + some good profits. Definitely not sure how they are going with it.
360  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 23, 2023, 06:57:31 PM

I rolled 10 000, only in reverse, and not for the first time Tongue - maybe freebitco could make some symbolic prizes for numbers like this, or when someone rolls 1111, 2222 and similar. Congratulations to all the lottery winners from last week, some were really lucky with a small number of tickets.

Yeah that sounds good. Even many times I am getting the jackpot number that is 8888 rolled while clicking the Free Rolls but unfortunately never rolled the same while doing multiplying wagering. I wish there is really some reward for such special number in the free roll section. Though I am not sure if freebitcoin team will really change their current traditional setting or not but we have always seen new adoptions from them. This could be the next one. Roll Special numbers and get extra X price or something like that. Making it even better for the premium members who are holding FUN. :-D
