341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 📢[ANN][AIRDROP]🔴Solve.Care - Healthcare on Blockchain🔴🌎 on: March 23, 2018, 04:52:26 AM
First thing that comes to my mind when I read about your project is ETHeal. Are there any fundamental differences between you and them?

Hi,

What really differentiates Solve.Care is its focus on the administrative payments network and avoidance of EMR data storage. The latter is a complex arena fraught with regulatory and privacy hurdles.

There are many healthcare projects and most are focused on clinical/medical records.
We are unique in that we are focusing on using Blockchain to improve access and payment of healthcare.

Our solution allows insurance companies, governments worldwide and employers to delegate power to see any physician using a delegated eligiblity contract and delegate payment authority using Care.coin.

This is a highly innovative use case of Blockchain that actually allows you and I to see the doctor we want to see and pay them using insurance dollars.
It will change the way healthcare is administered in the US and most other countries

Thanks for the quick wrap up of the differences. Are you already in talks with insurance companies and do you expect some of them to adopt your system quickly?

Yes, we are communicating active with 5 major clients (insurance, hospital, government).

Stay tuned!

And can we expect any announcements in that direction soon or are you still in the middle of long negotiations?

The prices for CAT are so low these days it is unbelievable. Just imagine if they really build what is written in the white paper $$$. It will be amazing.

You call your blockchain 4th generation blockchain. I would be interested in your description of a first, second, third and fourth generation blockchain to see what your reasoning was behind calling your distributed ledger the generation. Would be much appreciated if you find the time to talk about that in your own words.

Hello , The pioneer of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, together with all its various clones and forks based on Proof of Work algorithm for transaction validation, are considered first-generation block chains.

The second generation, with Ethereum leading the charge of smart-contracts-enabled blockchains, is instead more heterogeneous, allowing easy tokenization of assets.
Both architectures have extremely low energy efficiency and medium-low block validation speed and transactions per block.

Solving the scalability, speed, and energy consumption issues is the goal of third-generation blockchain solutions, using different approaches and techniques like Proof of Stake
validation algorithm, off-chain routing, graph-chains, and complete or partial centralization.

The fourth generation is going far beyond this, achieving faster and more scalable solutions and trying, at the same time, to become competitive from a business perspective;
simple chains of data are not flexible enough to fulfill corporate environment needs, in which complex data structures need to be organized in tables (as in relational databases)

At first glance your explanation looks plausible. However, there will always be trade-offs if you want to achieve higher scalability and faster verification times. If you take the Ethereum blockchain, it is essentially transitioning to what you described as a third generation blockchain at least in part. I doubt you can build a fourth generation blockchain at this point in time with the decentralization, censorship-resistance and security characteristics of a first generation blockchain.

Sad you didn't back to my comment. In the list you posted for first to fourth generation blockchains, I still can't see what really makes your blockchain a fourth generation blockchain. I understand a fourth generation blockchain as something that incorporates all the good characteristics from its predecessors plus something on top. Is that the case for your technology and if yes, please describe what it looks like.

When the ico stage will end ? and when we will be able to trade and withdraw the tokens from the website ?
any data for the blockchain release ?

The ICO ends on 24.3.2018 https://contractnet.com/ico/ I think they will send the tokens a few days after the ico, but i have no exact information at the moment

You still have the chance now to get the 20% bonus !! Get some now whilst it's not too late

Getting into early bonuses is sort of the most important part of participating in ICO's i wish more people realized that so many people end up waiting until the last minute and purchasing right before ICO ends due to FOMO, but in reality the fomo should kick in early for ICO's that have bonuses to take advantage of the biggest bonus possible, as its basically a per token discount in the end for pricing.

It can make sense to wait under certain circumstances. Liquidity constraints could be one reason, but there is also a good chance to collect more information along the way that helps you make a better decision after all.

Yea, you do have a point, circumstances are different and not all project are same, in all, is all about personal preference on the part of the individual, to either join early or wait, some also join early because they are attracted by the bonus, probably because they may have smaller funds and hence tend to get more early

It's also about your ROI expectations. If you think a project can make you 10,000% you don't really pay too much attention to a 20% bonus. I think whales pay more attention to large bonuses as they can good money with flipping their position right after launch.

Crypto Veteran and Crypto Newbie are very different here, Veterans are very relaxed and enjoy all the entertainment, while their Newbie seems panicked if there is a small dump or even a big dump, Newbie is very confused what they should do, that they sell loss to eliminate fear of falling prices.

Not sure if I would call veterans very relaxed as crypto is a risky beast but they definitely don't lose their mind as quickly as newbies often do.
I think any person is nervous when he risks a significant amount for him, regardless of previous experience.

True that mostly everyone would be nervous if the investment is melting down but then it's all about losing your mind or not losing your mind. And that is the moment where experience kicks in and you are in a better position to make well-considered decisions.

I understand that now it is a mainstream to use modern technology, but why YRX needs the blockchain? I think, that the platform would work fine without it. Besides, its introduction only increases development costs and timescales. It would be better to have it introduced in the future, if it is that much necessary..

Maybe you should for yourself first make a list with the advantages of a blockchain over other systems and then brainstorm why a decentralized version of Youtube can make a lot of sense. There is a ton of advantages.

Everybody wants to see this growth, but at the moment the market correction continues.
ETH is below 600 dollars. A week ago it was hard to believe.
On the one hand, crypto currency is unpredictable, on the other hand, experienced people know that after large corrections there will be a renewal of the highs. So now is a very good time for making investment decisions.

It is clear that the Bitclave team is working on all axes of the project, but they have a long way to go to achieve the road map outlined in their white paper.

Exactly, people who have ability to analyse the market will grab a lot of coins in the market, already the team is working in the background and we are seeing those from their update. So grab as many coins as possible in the market.

I am sure large whales feel like it is Christmas if they see CAT trading at a few cents. Easy for them to load up big time.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Bitclave - Decentralized Search ★ November 29 ICO ★ on: March 16, 2018, 11:27:53 AM

Alex, do you think why your CAT token is traded 5 times lower than the price that was on the ICO in dollars (I'm not talking about bitcoin), can you do something wrong?
These are all features of the market. Now is a very good time to buy these tokens. Further this possibility may not be

instead of complaining guys, on what the price of CAT these days, why not accumulate more?
are not you all confident enough that this has a great future ahead? the fact cannot be denied too that team is very active.

Bitclave is a steal these days. They have a very solid team and a moonshot concept. Buying at these prices could be the best choice ever made.

Another nice article on ContractNet an interesting read
https://www.theodysseyonline.com/contractnet-for-global-exchange-of-iot-data

Good to see it's popping up in various websites beyond just Bitcointalk, projects like this really need to get their name out their, hopefully they will also submit their ICO to some ICO Review sites, as its a good way to drum up positive press. As well as things like press releases to various news agencies. The more they can get their name out in the wild the more attention they can drive and the better for the project overall. That article was a pretty good read and explanation. Hopefully we see more coming on other sites.

I like the idea of reaching out to ICO Review sites. Do the devs have to do that or can investors who are interested reach out to them and request reviews?

Honestly not sure, i imagine its mostly from the ICO side, though i dont see why interested parties couldn't ask their favorite review sites to review an ICO they are interested in its more content for the review site and additional visibility for the ICO. I imagine the contractnet is already working on things like that though.

I think anyone can ask and request reviews, you don't have to be part of the team in order to get a review.

If thats true maybe we should all chip in and get a few review sites to take a look, i mean most of them are soso on credibility, but more visibility is always good for projects you think are good as the health of the project is good for both the company and the investors. I'd be interested to have contractnet get some visibility as what they are trying to do seems really interesting.

I think it makes most sense to go for the one with the most traffic, if anyone here knows which one that would be?

Most times good ICO sites do the ratings, some however reach out to project CEOs for some compensation in order to rate them high on their sites, others also require ratings to come from the community, it all depends but coming from a credible ico rating site will be ideal

I fear we would have to first define what a credible rating site is Wink as soon as their is payment involved it is hard to have no bias in the rating. We know that from the real world rating agencies and they failed big time.

Well, i do agree with you and i can't stop stressing the need for us to do our very own personal research before investing, check the team behind it, years of experience and the concept behind the project, something unique to start with and that's achievable

I think there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to ICO investments. All kinds of services that help identify trustworthy projects and some are already under development. It will be much harder in the future for scammers to pull off large scale scams.

Some on the contrary start to invest when they see interest from other investors.

I agree, it causes great interest of other participants. And the amount of initial investment increases the level of interest, so often projects emphasize the importance of fees for private sales and pre-sales.

Some projects decide to not show any details which I think doesn't make a good impression on future potential investors.
Everyone is worried that at the initial stage there are too many bonuses. This is a well-founded fear.

That is the decisive point. Knowing the bonus structure is an important criteria to a lot of investors, me included. It's just a bad feeling if there is someone sitting on 1 or 2% of the supply at half the average ICO price.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: March 16, 2018, 11:16:26 AM
It's alive  Shocked

From what I understand ..this coin is based on DASH ..thus they are waiting for the Dev's of DASH to make some fixes to the code

before they move on and release Helium? Is that the crux of the issue now? If so anyone have any idea of a timeline just on the DASH fix?

thanks, just trying to put this in some kind of perspective/timeline

brad

Isn't this a really bad sign for HELIUM itself then? Whenever there is a bug or some issue with the code that requires an update or a fix, this community has to wait for DASH developers to act? Or am I misunderstanding this?

I am looking for clarity on this myself...but, from what I understand this is the reason for the delay...I suppose it makes sense, as a fork....this is also true of say

Litecoin and Bitcoin ..in that litecoin is a fork...I suppose it depends on how open DASH devs are with Helium devs....on keeping them in the loop..it is not a big

deal with LTC and BTC but it may be a big deal for DASH devs just not liking forks like Helium or something.

But yeah, clarity on the holdup, a timeline on the supposed 'fix' needed by dash devs ....would be helpful..even if it is just a 'ballpark' this summer of 2018 as a guess

If you take Litecoin I don't think they are in any way dependent on the development of Bitcoin. In fact they are much quicker when it comes to implementation of new features. That's why they are also called something like a testnet for Bitcoin. There is a different mutual interest in LTC and BTC than in Dash and Helium I believe.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Crypterra - How about island for mining? on: March 16, 2018, 11:13:30 AM
For the way you described it seems like you do not depend on any government nor are regulated by one. This is not real as you do not own and gobern your islands and are subject of any state regulations that may arise, how can you make sure the government will not alter the project timeline and what guarantee you can give to your investors?
Good day.

Yes, you are right to maintain complete autonomy is aт utopia and we do not claim that it is possible.
But at the moment we are negotiating with lawyers from three different countries.
These countries are either very loyal to the mining as such or are directly interested in investing in crypto-economics.
The bottom line is that we plan to start from one island to develop it into the network. And then we will not depend on the legislation of one country.
Thank you for your questions.

If you are negotiating with lawyers from different countries, shouldn't the goal be to sign a long-term contract with them to have certainty for your investors and for yourself?
For sure. we are going to work with them on a long term contracts

Will be interesting to see what the outcomes of those negotiations might look like. Ultimately your success as a project depends on those contracts.

Yes, these are very powerful arguments. If this is really a real project, then they made a big mistake buying account. Unfortunately now, I have a very high level of mistrust.

The review of 844bankbtc nails it down right? If you read it there isn't much doubt about CryptoKami being shady or even scam. Good work from 844bankbtc.

Sometimes the news is true and many are wrong, if this seems like a common thing, maybe other authorities want to make a dropping news for cryptokami because they see something big here.

That's of course right but this looks like there is at least some truth to it. It's hard to ignore for potential investors.

Do you think this coin has any plans of making it something like simiilar to real currency, you know like being able to buy something at a local coffee shop using this coin? Maybe that is possible no? You can start in Asia if you want..

This is not about making transactions only. It is about strengthening customer relationships through incentivizing loyalty.
