Hi Dev,
Very nice work on the swap function, it worked for me without any problems. I also really like the new wallet. Keep up the good work!
I live in Amsterdam myself and really like this coin to work. I am now collecting enough coins to start my own maternode and support this project and its community.
One question for the dev, the new wallet says "staking is not active" even when my wallet is unlocked, any idea why this is? i have around 35k of coins in my new wallet.
Hi Vinnie, Thanks for your support. Staking is not yet active. Please review the PoW and PoS breakdown on the OP.

Dev, I have all my coins on exchanges (yobit nove and coinex). I have to do something for swap now? Or swap will be done automatically by exchanges?
The swap will also be done by the exchanges. Or you can use the swap form. You can choose.

I'm having problems with the swap.
Yobit cancelled my first transaction and afterwards I tried another withdrawal for the swap and now it seems stuck, read a lot about it, but can't figure out what it is, confirm status: transfer from cold storage.
Any idea?
Means that Yobit has to do your transaction manually as their hot (online) wallet is empty.

And we have our first masternode
Do you have a wallet address?
I need to send 100 AMS so that I have exactly 100,000 for the masternode.
Click the "Request payment" button on the receive tab to obtain the address. Or type getaccountaddress "" in the debug console. I have 100,100 in my new wallet so want to send someone 100... Then go to the "Send" tab and enter the address and amount. Click the "Send" button and confirm with "Yes" I need exactly 100,000 to start a masternode right? but I have 100,100 in my wallet, so I need someone to give me a wallet address so that I can lose 100. No you need to send 100.000 to your own address. So "to" and "from" the same wallet Maybe this helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GnwdKxBa1Q Its the same for AMS but only the collateral for AMS is 100.000

i decided against doing an update from wallet v3 to v4 on Linux - assuming its a completely new chain? Created Windows wallet on laptop and will compile the new Linux once old Linux wallet is deleted (I think you've still used so amsterdamcoin directory names so it'd be a minefield compiling new wallet directory when the old one is identical) No they are not identical and can run perfectly fine together. The old directory name is AmsterdamCoin2 while the new is amsterdamcoin. Not what you would think, right?

Then we get a very sad story with MN
The Explorer shows 72 Block time is 60 seconds For a month it turns out 30 * 24 * 60 = 43200 units Reward for MN 1.5AMS = 64800AMS - divide by the number of master classes now, and their number will only increase to 100-200 pcs - we get 900 AMS income MN per month With frozen 100,000 AMS = 0.9% per month = 11% per year This if counted in coins
If the money - then at the current rate 900AMS = 4.45USD - is the cost of hosting for the master But you still need to freeze 100000AMS = 0.15 BTC ~ $ 500 So what's the point? Or where is the error in the calculations?
Your not taking price growth in account. Try the same math with Dash and you'll see it's not that bad.

|
How many MNs are working now? In the old or the new chain? Explorer amsterdamblockchain.info/network - shows 72, the wallet shows 23
You mixing old and new. The block explorer shows the new coin and that has not been swapped.

Sorry for the noob questions, what can I do? Or what do I need to do. I don't even have an old wallet address to transfer it to.
Just wait for the swap form.

Hi, Status withdrawal Yobit is: TRANSFER FROM COLD STORAGE What this ?
It means that Yobit has to transfer your coins manually because their hot storage has run out of AMS.
