I get this error on two of my boards.  The rest work fine.  Not sure why.

I think this is the error you get when the USB interface was not properly closed by MPBM. Try checking "Reset board if it appears to be in use" under the worker config, then right click the worker and click Restart Worker.

All my boards all work fine on 0.4a.  I will try this.  Thanks.

When I run the web interface http://127.0.0.1:8832.  Some of the information is written over other informationi and I can't use it.  I'm using mozilla firefox.  Any help would be great.

Use Chrome. It's known broken in IE/FF/Opera, and I don't really know why this happens.
I'll happily accept a patch if someone figures out how to fix that.

Thanks.  It worked, but now to of my miners arent loading.  All of my other ones are. I keep getting traceback errors.

Hey guys. I finally put together an installation package of sorts for Windows:

X6500 Easy Package for Windows
Download

This should make it simple and easy take an X6500 and go from 0 to Bitcoin in no time (on Windows). It includes a driver installation program for the libusb driver, MPBM with compiled EXE, and all the current mining firmware. I tested it out on a clean VM install of Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit, and Windows XP 32-bit.

If that's too convenient for you, the individual pieces can also be downloaded:

Let me know if there are any problems. Though I did take a lot of time testing it, this is still fresh off the presses Smiley
Very nice!  Will test it out asap and post up any issues.

Hello hashking,

Can you clarify these terms?

NEW SPECIAL PAYS 2.8% Weekly for a 8 Week Lock.

1. Is interest paid weekly or at the end of term?
2. Can I request withdrawal before the end of term?

1. Depositor could either choose weekly interest payments or roll over their interest.
2. Withdrawl could only be requested after the 8 weeks.

Hm on cablesaurus the new batch is sold out (not on stock). How long does it take to get one or two units (to Germany)?

Anyone know how to get the x6500 to mine on GPUMAX.  Having no luck.
349  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Modular Python Bitcoin Miner - Official Thread on: April 07, 2012, 01:05:25 PM
Anyone using the program to work with GPUMAX.  I can't get mine to connect.  What are your settings for source?
350  Economy / Lending / Re: I am looking to borrow 15,000 BTC to expand my current bussiness. on: April 06, 2012, 11:12:01 PM
This makes me wonder if a BTC alternative to Prosper would be viable.  Something that matches up lenders to people needing loans...

Last time I checked Prosper and Lending club only do up to 25,000.  Usually for first timers loans are under 5,000.
351  Economy / Lending / Re: I am looking to borrow 15,000 BTC to expand my current bussiness. on: April 06, 2012, 09:32:38 PM
Seriously?  You own rental properties and can't come up with 75 large?  I rent a 1-bedroom apartment and drive a clapped out Cavalier and I can almost come up with that much money in 24hr notice.  I noticed that straight out of the newbie section you headed right to Lending too.  You're a walking contradiction IMHO.

75K is a large sum. He buys properties in very bad condition, I assume does some kind of repairs, and then rents them out to section 8. My grand parents did that for some time, not that profitable as you think. Also as far as I recall, Section 8 doesn't pay 100% of the rent. So the rest is up to the renter, a lot of times they wouldn't pay their part.

Not all properties I buy are in horrible condition.  I have bought some that only need a little bit of work and are ready for rent.  I can't speak on why your grandparents had so many issues, but in the state I live in the tenants are held responsible for their actions.  Some have a rent portion and some don't.  If they decide they don't want to pay or decide to cause trouble they will lose their housing assistance.  I have never had to evict any of these tenants.  They always pay because they need a roof over their head.

Maybe you should make that call, get the funds in 24hrs and lend it to me and make a safe and healthy 15% annual return.
353  Economy / Lending / Re: I am looking to borrow 15,000 BTC to expand my current bussiness. on: April 06, 2012, 07:23:20 PM
It seems that people are worried because I'm willing to pay a high interest rate to borrow this money.  The reason I'm willing to pay this high of a rate is because the funds that will be used will generate close to a 45% return for me on a worst case scenario with a possibility of it generating a 67% on the best case scenario.  Also from my research this seems to be the going rate for this type of loan.
354  Economy / Lending / Re: I am looking to borrow 15,000 BTC to expand my current bussiness. on: April 06, 2012, 01:49:07 PM
Good point Death and taxes.  A mortgage would be at 5% tops.  This is a strange request indeed.

I'll just leave this here.

http://wiki.bitcoin-otc.com/wiki/Using_bitcoin-otc#Safety:_avoiding_fraud

A 5% interest rate would be nice.  The properties that I purchase cost under 30K and need repairs.  The traditional bank isn't willing to lend out money on a house that isn't liveable.  As far as the fraud issue goes, I am willing to divulge all my business information as well as personal.  I would also sign a promissory note so if I didn't pay someone could take legal action.  My assets are a lot more then the loan that I'm asking for.

Can you take a loan out on an asset that is already paid for and use that money to buy/fix your new property?

The properties that I purchase cost under 30K and need repairs.  The traditional bank isn't willing to lend out money on a house that isn't liveable.  I have talked to a couple of loan officers and their response is that the banks don't really do these type of loans anymore.  They are worried about lending out the money on a property thats not liveable, not receiving payment and being stuck with a house in a market that is already flooded with houses that can't sell.
355  Economy / Lending / Re: ISSUE WITH GOATS TYGRR-BANK BONDS. on: April 06, 2012, 01:41:14 PM
but why did you sell to whoever offered the .008x btc per bond?
this is the question. I've lost money on mtgox I know how it feels to produce a net loss by trading and I think I can see how you feel about the loss but I can't see why you blame others for your own actions?

or did I miss a line somewhere where you write your account was hacked and you did not issue the sell order yourself?

I will state this again.  He didn't deliver on what he promised in his offering.
356  Economy / Lending / Re: ISSUE WITH GOATS TYGRR-BANK BONDS. on: April 06, 2012, 01:26:46 PM
The main issue is that Goat said he would buyback any bonds at .10,  he never specified how(his fault).  2nd issue is I held my bonds past the dividend payment date and didn't receive my payment(Goats and Nefario's fault).  He put a poor thread together for his offering.  He didn't cover all aspects on how his bond works.  MAybe that's what happens when you try and slap something together fast without putting any thought into it.
357  Economy / Lending / Re: ISSUE WITH GOATS TYGRR-BANK BONDS. on: April 06, 2012, 05:06:13 AM
So should I take away the dividends from the people I already paid?

No. That's not fair to your new bond holders.
If he can prove he held those bonds on the day that the dividends are scheduled to be paid in the bond description, then he should receive that money. You also need to add to that description that you need to be contacted about buying back bonds. You can't expect future holders to go through your forum op for everything.

In business, cover all your bases or someone will run them.

Happy Opening Day baseball fans!  Cheesy

The functionality to pay people based on the dates they held the shares is not a part of GLBSE(yet).

Yes people (asset issuers) make promises to pay on certain days and times, these are all subject to permissive circumstances. Sometimes there are delays for various reasons.

Are there terms in the Tygrr-Bank contract for what happens if a certain condition is not met (i.e. payments made late)?

Unless there are terms that outline what happens in such an eventuality I don't think you can just make them up yourself. What you can hope for is a best effort attempt to make it up.

Shares in Tygrr-Bank were not frozen, the market could decide for itself what was the best thing to do. If someone decides to sell at a loss because of some bad news then that is their decision.

So it sounds like you are ok with people just making up the rules for their stock as they go along and not payout what they promised.  If there is no rules for the companies that trade on your exchange then its worthless at best.

Why would you do that.
359  Economy / Lending / Re: ISSUE WITH GOATS TYGRR-BANK BONDS. on: April 06, 2012, 04:37:28 AM
I held the bonds on the 4th and 3rd so I should have been paid.  There is no way you can dispute that.
360  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TyGrr-Bank 3% weekly dividends (2.5% starting April 3rd) on: April 06, 2012, 04:35:14 AM
I put a small bid up at .1  I will add more to the account if people want to sell more. Because of what happened I will not longer keep 1000 BTC in my account. If you would like to sell back to me at .1 that is fine, let me know how many and I will add the BTC. I can do this now because the account is unlocked.

Thank you, Jared

Then why won't you reimburse me for my shares and pay me my dividend.  If you buried your rules in different spots of your thread thats your fault.
