I modified this script for use on http://xxxcoincams.com/

It is integrated with xxx coin obviously and while we're in the initial testing phase of the site, the payment script is working well.

Could have used a little more commenting throughout the code, but anyone with a little PHP experience should be able to work through it.

The only "issue" I have with it, is that if a user sends a payment and leaves the page (closes, power outage, etc) there is no way for the script to verify that users transaction.

The script calls checkconfirmations.php and includes the order number with the send to payment address.  The daemon then checks to see if payment arrived, if it did, it updates the database to say that order is filled.

So, if the user loads a new payment address by clicking on the "get address" button, or any of the things I mentioned above.  There is no way to tie the two pieces together.

I'll be modifying it to take a user_id, storing that with the tx id in the database.  A cron will run periodically.  All addresses will be checked, if not confirmed within 30 minutes, they'll be removed from the database to eliminate bloat in the database.

This will also eliminate any issues if the daemon goes down between generating the send address, and verifying the transaction.  A check will be in place with the cron, that checks to see the daemon is running fine.

Again, great script to start from, thanks!

Feel free to comment for me, im so dam busy hahaha

All changes you make to make it "better" simply commit to git and we can merge them and build from it Smiley

I see all points you make and they are valid points, i have fuck all time if you make those changes and share with the community it would be much appreciated!

346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution. E-SPORTS BETTING TEST WENT LIVE! on: July 10, 2014, 12:56:29 PM
Should MIN investors be worried about LOL coin? Not here to FUD, just trying to get more info from the community, being that i have a sizable investment in MIN.

Seems like LOL coin may be more intriguing to the non-crypto educated gamer or investor at the present moment. LOL is such a popular game for one and now League coin has implemented SCII betting as well.  It's not part of the wallet, but non-crypto folks probably won't care about that.  The 20% interest for LOL coin is far too much inflation imo, but there are far less coins from the POW stage as well (2.4million), which may offset the inflationary aspect in the short term.

Just wanted to get some comments from you guys on this.  What do ya think?

Peace

hmmm thats not good... LOL coin has sc2 betting... that makes me worried...
I dont want to spread FUD being a large stake holder myself but that is rather scary i must admit.

in regards to price stabilization...
I wouldn't hold my breath just yet wait for it to break resistance.

IAmRichard doesn't know what he's saying. I think he's just pulling sentences and phrases out of his ass.

On another thread he said how Mining.biz won't be featured highly on Search Engines(aka Google, Bing etc). However, Google treats all TLD's equally and .biz is a TLD.

He doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

OP is right, they can't do anything unless OP is using the site to purposely jeopardize the Gyft brand.

Conclusion: IAmRichard is an idiot, I've read a good few posts of his, and he has No idea what he's talking about.

I agree, but no need for name calling, i agree in this instance he dosnt know what he is talking about and did take offence for it damaged my post.
But we dont have to shoot the poor guy down, just teach him how he was wrong Smiley

Seems highest bid is 0.2btc?? any more offers? This isnt really a auction no obligation to sell to highest bidder just a gauge of interest and if highest bidder comes close to my reserve in my head ill release to them.

Please let it be clear, vcc.cards isnt for sale unless you wanna start the bidding at 5k +,
We are negotiating on Gyft.cards right now.

350  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Gyft.Cards DOMAIN! PREMIUM!! on: July 08, 2014, 01:33:20 PM
Well they own the trademark.

All they have to do is file a ICANN request/dispute and you will lose the domain. Pretty easy.

I suggest you take a look at cyber-sitting case law and stop spreading FUD.
A file to ICANN wont do shit except open the negotiation process for resolution and open the path for court case.....
Unless i am using the domain to slander there business or damage the name, etc, etc and that im not...
There trademark is RED FONT GYFT and is registered for delivery of downloadable goods.... and has noting to do with the word GyftCards, i am confident i can argue this in court....
Im not slandering there trade mark in any shape or form and have already started intense development on a site that uses the domain and it has nothing to do with the services GYFT offers.

Until the point comes that i use the domain to cause loss or damages there is no issue here, at all, unless they want to be dicks about it, but let me assure you its not "simple" it will be LONG and drawn out and will involved alot of unwanted media and bad publicity, they will need to file case in my country and prove i had bad faith, and in the end most likely i would win anyway, assuming i don't just transfer the domain back and forward between holding company's in jurisdictions far from the reach of draconian USA. It would be more simpler to swing me some BTC for a finders fee and be done with it... would it not?? Let alone cheaper....

But in the search for truth I am willing to sacrifice the domain to see what happens, im sick of know it alls so....
just then i EMAILED them and i sent them a TWITTER with this URL lets see what they say.

Here's a quick update on what we are working on right now and what are the plans

The main priority right now is to bring average gamer to the betting service and make sure its simple enough for anybody to acquire Minerals and bet. To solve this problem we need to develop the following:

1. Stream betting pages that will be appealing and easy to use for those who are new to crypto. UI design almost complete. Software ready, just need to update UI when its ready. Those who are betting right now demand a list of live streams to bet on. It will be implemented as well

2. These stream betting pages will also serve as landing pages which will explain people who are new to crypto how to hop in to the party and start making bets. This will include a guide how to quickly acquire some Minerals through tipbots and faucets which will help people to their first steps. We would also love to give an option to buy Minerals with fiat money, but the chargeback problem is still unsolved. Maybe the community will be willing to help with this one. Somebody may even see a business opportunity in selling Minerals for paypal or credit cards for a small fee. We are willing to support any solution that will help people to purchase Minerals quick and easy.
As I said earlier stream betting page UI is almost complete. I will be updating you guys when its finished

3. Referral program. One will be able to promote a stream betting page (or tournament betting page later on) and receive 1-2% of what people win while betting on these pages. This will give streamers an opportunity to promote Minerals betting and receive money for doing it. Referral program is about 50% complete, should be ready in a couple of days.

4. Tournament live betting. Is almost complete. We are testing it right now and if everything goes smooth we will be releasing it for the public test tomorrow. Pick a match that you would like to bet on http://wcs.battle.net/sc2/en/schedule and post it here. The match that will be most voted for will be picked for a public test betting (assuming this betting feature is available for public test by the time when the match will begin)

5. LOL and Dota 2 betting. The concept is still in development, no final design yet, but it seem to be pretty similar to what we currently have for StarCraft II. The reason why we are trying to rush for LOL and Dota 2 is that these are the most popular e-sports games right now and we've got almost everything we need to set up betting process for these games.

These are the main things that we are focusing on right now.

I see lots of people here willing to help Minerals to be successful and there are plenty of things to do:
1. Contact streamers on twitch.tv (mostly StarCraft II streamers) and ask em if they are willing to support Minerals for a donation and a tipbot that we can set up for their channel. Betting referral program will be up and running in a couple of days so theres one more source for the streamers to earn money.

2. Contact those who host tournaments and propose em to establish a Minerals prize pool, we can sponsor em with Minerals as well as I think someone will be wiling to donate their Minerals to the prize pool as well.

3. Contact gaming youtubers and ask them to do a promotional video for bounty. After all its how the future of e-sports betting will look like, they might be interested Smiley

4. Test betting betting features and send your reports and suggestions to dev@minerals.pro. There are few people that do that and I am very grateful for their work since it helps us a lot in achieving our main goal - develop a betting service that people will love and enjoy using.

Sorry if I don't post here often. I can see that those who gets betting figured out seem enjoy it even tho its clunky and unclear at its current state. And that is really inspiring. I can assure you that this is now a project of my life. I absolutely love it and I see great potential in it. It is probably hard for me to imagine what you guys feel since you are uncertain what my future plans might be. For me its absolutely clear: Minerals and its betting services is what I'll be working on for the next 10 years.

Thanks for the update!!
Lets get the ball rolling, neat coin, the gambling on starcraft games is really neat.
Ill do my part and contact some youtube gamers about it
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MIN] Minerals - POS. Fair Distribution Cryptocurrency on: July 04, 2014, 09:07:18 PM
The first part of betting service is ready for public test!

You may download the updated wallet with a betting feature and IRC Chat here:
https://mega.co.nz/#!nV1RyI6Y!87ksjQFky5BuwI2NW366rgahpQrXs2jL2HOqYZdumA0

Betting is simple!  Cheesy When you click on the Betting tab in your wallet the first thing that you'll notice is an input form where you should enter StarCraft 2 player profile (for example http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/241507/1/Apollo/ ) and click Generate Wallet Addresse. You should see 4 wallet addresses in a second. You may copy any of these wallets and send your Minerals there. 1 confirmation required for a bet to be accepted. If an outcome for the next or the following game is not determined in less then 1 hour you will receive your Minerals back

This link right here allows you to share the betting page you are willing to bet at with others

It may be either submitted to the wallet betting tab (the same form that you use to enter SC2 profile link) or opened in any browser.

You may find SC2 streamers here: http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/StarCraft%20II%3A%20Heart%20of%20the%20Swarm
The one that is now live (may go offline at any moment)
http://www.twitch.tv/apollosc2
He's SC2 profile link is
http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/241507/1/Apollo/

Please post any streamers and their profile links that you think may be fun to watch and bet on Smiley

Please post any bugs or flaws that you feel we need to fix!

Also since its beta I would advise you not to bet any significant amounts of Minerals that you are not willing to lose. 1-10 Minerals bets should do just fine for testing purposes.

PS: the second part of the betting service (Grand Tournaments Live Betting) is not ready yet. We will need a few more days until it is ready for public test. We should probably release it in time for some big SC2 tournament (like GSL or MLG) so we could all test it and have fun at the same time! Please suggest what tournament should we coincide the testing time with.

uhhh 6k why are you NOT BUYING!!!!
