341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of Ulbricht's 50,000 Btc Auction on: March 07, 2015, 10:26:46 AM
It would not make sense to buy those coins at a 30% higher price and dump them at the normal price in the market. I am sure people who invest 13 million USD in the auction, and smart enough not to dump it right away

Unless they are rich/a company who is looking to cause problems to btc... That could cause some problems.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On Cricket World Cup [Help Me Bet] on: March 07, 2015, 10:23:17 AM
zimbabwe will win this

odds - 5
They cant. See the status of the match. The balls are less and wickets are down. They cannot do this.

You never know. They have a decent run rate for now. Only time will tell .
Odds are currently 1.35x for Ireland.
They have lost too many wickets. The RR will plunge down if one more guy gets out. Its going to be really difficult for them.
They have to play 30overs with RR of 8.4. Too difficult

odds is currently 1.71 for Ireland and 2.18 for Zimbabwe, they are getting closer, at this rate miracle could happen just like the previous match or rather id say a fixed match

I still don't think it is going to happen... They still have a bit to go.

I think this would be a great site. I would definitely use it if you made it.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi make any comments about the initial 'imbalance' of Bitcoin wealth? on: March 07, 2015, 10:19:48 AM
I am unsure if he did but I do not think the current wealth distribution model is that much of a problem especially when put into terms of fiat.
345  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain! Will u release the newer version of the S4 with the new chips? S6 maybe on: March 07, 2015, 06:35:03 AM
They have no need to sell it if they have it they will mine it for 2 months.

BTC price will not support sale of the s-6 at this time. I see no gear for the next 30 days. Maybe  April 25th.

Other than what you said about mining, what is wrong with the price of bitcoin? They can still base it off dollars or something.

347  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it true that strong "social connections" are required for happiness? on: March 07, 2015, 01:55:18 AM
I believe for many people it is required. Not everyone can be happy and content without any strong social connections.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On Cricket World Cup [Help Me Bet] on: March 07, 2015, 01:50:28 AM

349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you "scared" that Bitcoin might actually succeed? on: March 07, 2015, 01:31:24 AM
It will have succeeded, for me anyway, when:

-Fully implemented
-Secure
-Customer-friendly, easy to use

So I'm not scared. I'd rather it succeed than fail, but I'm also realistic.

What do you consider to be fully implemented though?

351  Economy / Speculation / Re: To become a whale... on: March 06, 2015, 09:14:11 PM
I would say about a thousand or more coins. However the number gets smaller and smaller as the price goes higher and higher.
352  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you a Communist, Socialist, Capitalist, Marxist? on: March 06, 2015, 09:10:17 PM
All of these systems have merits. The one weak point in every one is those pesky humans who fuck it up every single time. I have chosen to become an ant and am looking forward to a much more mindless and peaceful future.

THIS. It is like communism, I think it is a great system but on a large scale it will not work wel due to the nature of humans. Not yet atleast.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you "scared" that Bitcoin might actually succeed? on: March 06, 2015, 09:08:28 PM
I am not scared of bitcoin I am scared about the "bag holder" aka early miners/adopters. They can ruin all in less than one month. Bitcoin is a good technologi (blockchain) and I think it will succeed for sure.

There's only one person that could crash Bitcoin to nothing and I'm convinced he's dead.

I don't think he will dump all his bitcoin, after has created this "currency" (peer-to-peer electronic cash system). He will be very crazy if he will do this thing. Bitcoin will succeed only when all the governments will "shut down".

If you where living an ok life and found you had a billion dollars to your name would you not use a little bit of it? Not saying he would ofcourse but he has a lot to him and no one knows truelly who he is.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Buffett was right? on: March 06, 2015, 11:30:10 AM
The whole idea of value is that something is worth what someone else is willing to pay is it not? If we are all willing to pay $500 a bitcoin that is what it should be worth.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting On Cricket World Cup [Help Me Bet] on: March 06, 2015, 11:16:56 AM
Dhawan Gone
I think at this situation we can't say india will win for sure

Ofcourse we can't say for sure but I think they will still win pretty easy.
356  Other / Meta / Re: "Satoshi" started Bitcointalk? on: March 06, 2015, 11:15:39 AM
You can overcome by using prepaid anonymous debit cards or similar anonymous services. If you think buying/paying with prepaid debit card is still easy to track, you can buy another prepaid debit card with the current one, buy another with it and so on. But yes, loop hole can be there but it is very hard to go through it.

   -MZ

Were you talking about Virtual Credit/Debit Cards?
I think their use is still traceable if someone uses it from their own IP address, except if they go for some VPN service to order it.

We can buy prepaid debit cards inside a shop with no traces. So if he did something like this and paid cash I don't know how you could trace him.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do bulls mock Tim Draper? on: March 06, 2015, 11:10:48 AM
Well see who is laughing when bitcoin goes upto $2000 or something Tongue
I think it is normal for people to mock him now especially with how bitcoin has gone since he bought.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the rumor about the latest 50,000 BTC auction true? on: March 06, 2015, 10:53:13 AM

I noticed this guy https://twitter.com/CryptoKees/status/573577241235423232  is followed by eric voorhees thats got to be a good sign unless he just started following based off the rumor lol

I noticed that guy was tweeting for free giveaways of plankton coins last summer. Anyone doing that is unlikely to be a big shot in the bitcoin world.

Yeah, I doubt it will turn out to be legit but it would be interesting if it where. I hope someone fairly high profile has bought them.
359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can I do with a small amount of BTC? on: March 06, 2015, 10:49:22 AM
Honestly if you wan't to see fair profits you will have to take a risk in maybe an altcoin or something. I suggest holding onto it for now and building up your amount over the next few weeks.

How far away do you think the stat area will be? I am looking at investing when I can see what others have already put in.
