I hope that you are not suffering too much, LFC... with that cold iron fist of yours.
There surely is some value with delayed gratification.. and yeah, there could be a bit of a dilemma for some HODLers regarding the extent to which a wee bit of shaving off could be prudent - and yeah, we don't really feel like a blow off top or anything like that, even though many of us had been thinking that $40k or $50k-ish would be good areas to sell decent amounts of stash.. but many of us are not feeling so inclined in these here days... for some reason.. not feeling like the cycle has run.. and it seems still early.. we are like in the early to mid - 2017s rather than the late 2017s.. so it seems.. and gosh, could we be in the early 2013s so deserving two blow off tops in this cycle with the second blow off top obviously playing out as a 5 to 10x BIGGER one.. ?
I am not going to say.. even though I have some theories that are floating in the decent odds categorizations... feelings... oh oh oh .. feelings...
I finally have a sell strategy, after all these years. I set up a spreadsheet with a sell ladder. I’m not going to go too deep into it but my sells start about $10,000 north from the current price & continue every $5,000 (roughly) until we hit $250,000. Nothing goes as you plan it perfectly but at least I have a starting point now. I’d like to continue HODLING at least 25% of my stash long term. Let’s see how this cycle plays out I'm still not sure whether I'll start selling at $50k or should I move my sell orders to $75-80 area. So far I'm ready to sell at $50k but it won't last long. I guess I will wait until the end of the month or so. Institutions must try harder to get my coins, dammit! I also think I will keep some 25%-50% of my stash at least for one more cycle. I will NEVER sell my entire stash and become a nocoiner! selling BTC for what? Gold? OK (IMO) if you are a bit over invested in BTC. Silver? OK, for our U.S. friends because most of them think silver cannot be confiscated. FIAT? Not OK (IMO) just in case you really need some to buy other things. Why not selling for FIAT? Why do all the stocks, real estate, land, commodities etc. increase in price? It's not because their value is increasing all the time. But the value of FIAT is decreasing all the time therefore the price of the others in FIAT is increasing. think about it.

Observing large walls at $41k and $42k.
Hopefully there's enough pressure to push through and avoid a double top.
double tops should be avoided at all costs.

So I've been playing around with DeFi with a small bit of some of my old ETH and I went to "stake" some coins and the gas fee was over $2k. I canceled the transaction but I don't see ETH lasting much longer as it is. I've warned people away from ETH due to how overloaded it has all become and it appears that it is unusable at this point.
Eth fees are insane. I mine eth and directly convert it to BTC and fiat. for me an eth coin is paid as if it is 1.89 x actual coin price as the fees are 89% after the pool takes its cut. So 1700 x 1.89 = 3213 so I get paid as if an eth coin is worth 3213. My mining deal is ½ to the host so 1606.5 for me and 1606.5 for the host. basically 1700- 1606.50 = 93.50 for a 1700 coin I immediately convert 900 to btc and 800 to cash So as a miner my eth allows me to buy 900 in btc for 93.50 and have 800 cash. This is stupid good for me and every other eth miner that understands what to do with the cheaply acquired eth. I only wish I could get more mini gear to get more eth to convert to btc I am paying under 11 cents to the dollar for my btc. to around 4400 for 1 btc. obviously I don't have enough mining gear with this or I would not post here. As I would make Bob and Rick look like paupers. I see the flippening not coming... https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-posts-new-highs-as-defi-gas-fees-top-1-000-on-complex-protocolshttps://www.flippening.watch some outdated data from AUGUST 20TH, 2020 11:01AM US PACIFIC

Is that all the gold you need to buy 1 BTC? Imagine all the space you need yes. 1 BTC = 22 oz Gold currently. if you have to leave the country your anus is to small for all the Gold!

i give 10 merits...
edited, stopped offer...
Dang! its almost as if I have no incentive to share a few good working blockchain projects anymore. Cardano - the amount of research behind the project is insane! Polkadot - Its outperforming other cryptos for a reasonChainlink - Putting non blockchain info ON the blockchain. Cosmos - Blockchain interoperability that works, need I say more? jesus, i wasn´t inviting brainless shitcoinery with my post. i was genuinly searching for viable, innovative blockchain products. you just listed a bunch of scammy retarded vulgar, vomit inducing bullshit and i hope it was satirical. https://youtu.be/KdOjVsfuKPs

Very off topic: I'm wondering if anyone here reads Greek and if so can they translate the paragraph in the top left of this image for me. I can throw you some merits for your efforts. I'm pretty sure it's instructions for the BASIC game below. The title of the game is 'The Ship', I think. 10 buy bitcoin 20 hodl 30 goto 10 Error on line 10: Unknown command: BUY
seems the BASIC emulator is a NOCOINER as well. http://www.quitebasic.com/

i give 10 merits if one can name me a working blockchain product.
Filecoin. Filecoin does not count. Why do I have to invent a new coin to drive the incentive layer of IPFS? I will tell it to you. To get richer than with Bitcoin. EDIT: maybe Spacemesh (Blockchain beyond) is worth a look on it but at the moment they struggle a bit like in Alpha state. After installing Brave I tried to open an IPFS file. I haven't been able to open any. It just hangs. the idea to have an new real decentralized and permissionless Internet is good but you have to think big for it. the incentive layer should be solved with Bitcoin of course. EDIT: I thought about it once and about DHT. the design of the incentive layer is tricky. e.g. who should get an incentive and who should pay for it. and should it be an auction system like Google has it for selling Ads. I do not see the real value of IPFS and Filecoin of Juan Benet. if I would came up with a project like this I would stay anonymous like Satoshi. revealing my name is for the fame or for the money. EDIT2: so you will start like Google in 1996. you need someone which will provide Space and should get an incentive for it. and you need someone who is willing to pay the incentive for hosting the content. but how do you start? what was the incentive for Google to start crawling Internet sites and host it in their cache? in 1996 there was the idea and venture capital. Google payed it back much later but then multiple. EDIT3: the technologies are all existent. what you need is the idea for the incentive part. this incentive part should increase the greed of the people which will start to participate on the project. this is the secret of Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto.

does anybody know on which U.S. marketplaces a HF is allowed to trade with: a) physical BTC (spot) b) Futures on BTC (derivatives) c) Options on BTC (derivatives) found on the first look LedgerX. anyone? unfortunately for an account on LedgerX or Gemini you have to be an U.S. resident. do I have to establish an U.S. LLC for getting an account there?
