That's exactly what I did for one account...and then I did not use it for a few years...and then when i looked at my notes I could not remember what I meant.
The brain cell that had this info died or something like that. No clue, complete blank. A few days of intense thinking-still nothing. Luckily, I found all notes associated with time when I worked on that account and some OTHER password gave me a hint, so I was able to solve the problem.

Bottom line-if you think now that your hint would be with you with perfect recall for half a decade or longer, don't.
