341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][IEO][MYO]🔥 MYCRO JOBS ANN THREAD 🔥 on: November 13, 2019, 03:49:32 AM
There is a lot of spam. But I remember that Jonathan (manager) said that soon there will be more information about the next stage of the KYC
What channel did he say that?
I checked the bounty group (using a new telegram) nd only saw this from Thomas:

Quote
I see and completely understand you but we’re are talking here about working hours.

I’ll have that in mind and we’ll all find a solution together.

Please be patient.

^ It's all sweet talk

Now they are trying to do another gimmick to weed out fraudsters which makes the KYC useless because that's the reason why it was forced in the first place and not the "legal" or "regulation" sh*t.
indeed if using KYC is very complicated, especially bounty hunter, I don't mind if investors are using it, and bounty hunter shouldn't be necessary
all participants felt that this was very complicated and like there was intentional because they knew it could be done easily beforehand, many feel that they have been played with without a final solution to solve this problem

What I see greatly disappoints me. They, just want, to quit the people, who have been marketing this project for such a long time.
This behavior of the team, clearly, can be regarded as a scam.

This is undeniably a scam project, typical scammers are making up of the development team. They will reply to questions and queries only when they are still promoting the project and selling tokens. But when the selling of shit tokens are done, they will not attend to the people anymore. Questions, concerns, and suggestions coming from the investors and promoters are not attended to anymore.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PAC (Pacquiao) Token Starts Trading from Nov 12. Will You Buy It? If Yes, Why? on: November 12, 2019, 02:44:53 PM
This will certainly be one of those shitcoins we have seen on recent times. I wonder what's the essence of this. Ain't new tokens and projects supposing to be based on solving a particular issue or offering a service that is Blockchain based. This will just be hyped up at the beginning after which it will just die off. I'll pass.

This is offering a service that is based on blockchain. But the question is what kind of service? If the service is only for those who are fans of Pacquiao then this will not last. This kind of project lacks sustainability. This comes very untimely also. Pacquiao has already retired and just made some comeback fights but he is getting old nonetheless. Whether this will solve a particular issue or not is not even an issue. This project's goal itself is an issue.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is happening now? on: November 12, 2019, 02:21:31 PM
hello friend,
in 2017 I was very happy when I saw the price of Bitcoin increase in coinmarketcap because when the price of Bitcoin increases, then the price of Altcoin will immediately increase too, but for now when the price of Bitcoin increases and it does not affect for the prices of Altcoin (even still down), then when the price of Bitcoin goes down and at that time the price of Altcoin will go down too, so I do not understand the current state of the market and what is happening right now.
We could not tell that yet on when the bitcoin going down or up the price and also the altcoins on when they increase the price again.
And ill think it should need to do is to wait on what coming on them and always read sometimes some news if this will be have some bull run coming or not. But somebody said this month of November and december have a huge prices coming.
That's why we now do not see much growth in the cryptocurrency market. Prices for Altcoins are very low and Bitcoin continues to take capital out of Altcoins with rising prices.

This is part of the tag war between the Bitcoin market and the altcoin market. When Bitcoin is bullish, the capital that is supposed to be entering into the altcoin market is going to be diverted into Bitcoin. That is expected when there is a bull run that is believed to be coming into the Bitcoin market. The speculation of Bitcoin remains bullish despite the price falling from $9,000.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your EOS price prediction? on: November 12, 2019, 02:00:51 PM
According To WalletInvestor, Investing In EOS Will Turn Out To Be A Favorable Venture For The Investors, They Believe That In 2023, It Might Reach $911.

On the other hand, I have come across that eos price prediction that eos will rise high in the upcoming years.

What's your point of view on EOS?

It is absolutely hard to predict the price of EOS several years from now. So far, I can say that EOS has been doing great. Their smart contract has grown as a solid competitor against Ethereum's network. We are now seeing a number of projects which are built on the EOS blockchain. The price of EOS will probably reach $10 to $15 within the year. A 3-digit price prediction is beyond my radar for now. It looks like too much.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STREAMITY ICO --->Decentralized cryptocurrency exchange<--- on: November 11, 2019, 01:29:22 PM
Can anyone explain what is going on here? Judging by the issuance of Google, the project is working, there is its own P2P platform for selling and buying coins.
There are several telegram chats. I would like to see evidence of a case of scam.

Am I missing something?

There is no scam in here. Streamity is moving forward but in little steps. This is better compared to a lot of previous projects that just left its community in exit scams. The coin has value but it needs to be listed on bigger exchanges with decent volume so that the interested investors will have access to it. They have partnerships already and there is no reason to be afraid of possible dumping since this project has ended its ICO long ago.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over. on: September 29, 2019, 02:44:42 AM

if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over.
just an idea, the market is still very weak and bearish

And if the market is very weak and bearish, how come you are predicting an end of the downtrend?

The way I see it, straight horizontal lines are very dangerous. It could go down or it could go up. And there is a very thin line in between these possibilities. In comparison to downward line, you can predict that sooner or later there will be a rebound, and vice versa. With a horizontal line, there is so much uncertainty.

ETH could actually go either way but who is worried? ETH is ETH. It will always recover in due time.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the listing of CARDANO to binance help the price? on: September 28, 2019, 02:17:51 AM
Binance is going to list ADA sounds a good  news fo holders
but will this help cardano rally the price from its current state?
im a bit hesitant with this because mostly lots of holders will going to dump their holdings thus give a chance to another dip to the coin
whats your assesment with this one?

ADA is definitely a great coin worth buying and even hodling for a long term. But I also share your reservation whether their listing on Binance will push its price up or pull it down. If there is no significant development in store for ADA that is going to be released very soon, I don't think a simple listing even with a top exchange will easily bring its price high. Well, listing on Binance will help ADA's liquidity if there is a decent volume.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the future ?? on: September 27, 2019, 02:28:12 AM
This year; ieo unfolded.

It was supposed to surpass ico and be a better crowdfunding method; but it has gone cold faster than ico did.

If you compare Your experiences too; between altcoin and bitcoin; you would notice that

1. Altcoins are so many; that they replace one another.
If an old altcoin dies
New altcoins will replace them and old one will be forgotten... It goes on and on

2. Bitcoin has maintained its class and importance;

Is it that bitcoin is the only hope for the future ??

IEOs did not even reach halfway of what was achieved by ICO. Perhaps investors have learned a lot from failed offerings, regardless of its particular kind.

You are correct, there is a world of difference between Bitcoin and altcoins. Bitcoin is the one and only in its world while altcoins are made up of thousands and counting. Bitcoin does not have competitor so to speak. No other coin can compete with the founder, the beginning of everything. Altcoins, on the other hand, are very dispensable.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: September 26, 2019, 02:41:48 AM
I hear a lot of discussion around BTC halving that is expected in May 2020.
Many people are confident that this event will trigger the next bull run.

What is the logic behind this?

Basically the logic behind this is the pattern as well as the view that lesser reward means the reward amount is becoming more precious. The past two reward halvings came out with a bull run. We assume therefore that this third halving will also be resulting with a bull run. Why? Simply because it happened in the past. But I don't believe there is 100% certainly on that.

The second logic, which basically supports the first, is the perspective of some which essentially says the supply is dwindling, thus the lesser reward. This logic points us to the thought that lesser reward means that BTC is becoming more precious and hard to obtain. And since the other side is rising demand, this could mean a bull run.

The small reward that miners get means that the available supply on the market will be reduced. This will affect the price because the coin holders in the market tend to hold in the long run so that with a small supply and a steady supply will make the price increase

Actually, there is no guarantee whatsoever but that is the kind of logic that comes to the mind of a lot of people. As a matter of fact, if we get a little pessimistic on it, there is a possibility that a group of miners would quit from their operation because the reward may not really be worth the operating cost. The value of BTC has to go higher each time there is halving so that the miners will remain adequately rewarded and satisfied.

But the reality is that the price of BTC is determined by the buying and selling public. Regardless of halving, the price could really fall if there is more selling than buying.

351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s Tender-Will Bakkt Act As cure-all? on: September 24, 2019, 03:54:43 AM
"cure-all"? Definitely not! This is a concrete example of a question asked due to the over-hype made around Bakkt. Bakkt is no cure all. Neither is it a silver bullet that would catapult Bitcoin into a new ATH.

Bakkt may be a great achievement especially in terms of mainstream adoption but it will take time before it attracts the rich institutional investors.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 24, 2019, 03:05:27 AM
when investors and the crypto community already believed, but the team said differently!
- The team did not respond well to the crypto community.
- The team is very shady and does not provide updates about their projects on the telegram & social media channels.
- The team plans to take a vacation
- The team blocked accounts one by one from each community who questioned about the development of the project.
- and finally you are banned in this group  Grin

it's so annoying, how you feel?  Roll Eyes

And it seems to me that majority of the projects offered in the ICO/IEO/STO market right now and even before have these characteristics.

Well, to be fair with them, if this is annoying to us, they are also annoyed by community members constantly bugging them about the dates of development announcements, or product release, the partnerships that are going to be entered to, and so many information. But since the community is everything to them, they must handle such stuff properly and with cool. The moment a project treats community inquiries, suggestions, recommendations, and the like with annoyance or even hostility, they already failed.
353  Economy / Economics / Re: CASHING OUT YOUR CRYPTO-CURRENCY PROFITS on: September 23, 2019, 05:44:27 AM
No way will I mention my crypto profits in the banks. That will only increase the suspicion rather than end it. There are so many other ways to manage or even justify your bank account's balance other than divulging to them your crypto involvement. One way is to keep the deposits and withdrawals in moderate amounts and with long enough intervals so as not to rise suspicion from them. Other way would be not to pass through the banks when doing withdrawals. You could use payment centers instead.
354  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt released September 23 Is it going to pump or dump the price? on: September 23, 2019, 05:15:04 AM
It will definitely cause a pump but not this late. The news is not new anymore. The news released a couple of months ago was already recycled so to speak. The news of Bakkt offering Bitcoin futures has already been talked about more than a year ago. That has already affected the price of Bitcoin. Right now, it would either be selling time or just the status quo, no large spikes happening. But since this is Bakkt, owned by the owner of NYSE, the largest stock exchange in the world, this will certainly do good rather than bad, albeit in the longer term.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No trading volume is same as dead coin on: September 22, 2019, 12:37:47 AM
Are coins and tokens that have good value like 0.02 or even 0.2cent on exchanges with no volume the same bad news as coins that haven't made it to an exchange yet? what do you guys have to say about this? i am currently holding two different tokens with good value but no trading volume, any hope for such projects?

Take a look at the project itself. If it has nice plans and are really working for it, then volume could rise after the products are released. Just make sure that your coins are releasing regular updates about their product's development. Low trading volume is basically an effect of a project that does not have anything to offer. That means there is no reason for investors to buy their coins. But when there is already a product and they are already starting to promote it everywhere and acquire nice partners in the process, the volume will follow. But if you cannot see all this, you have dead coins.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If regulation never comes on: September 21, 2019, 12:09:11 AM
If regulation never come anytime sooner can we protect ourselves? how can we protect ourselves from crypto monsters hiding in disguise, especially bounty projects coming into crypto space with full force, any ideas ? I know many are going to say we should do better research before promoting projects, is there any strict blows we can give these monsters by ourselves ?

If regulation is not placed, you are still protected under the law. It does not really need crypto regulations for anyone to be protected against scammers. Regulation is not needed against projects that get investments from people only to end up vanishing after acquiring a huge sum. Regulation is not needed either against projects that use huge popular companies as well as fake identities and partnerships in their marketing in order to gain the trust of investors.

Sue them in the proper courts and they will still be dealt with properly with or without regulation.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Value??? on: September 20, 2019, 05:02:16 AM
Does anyone have any logical reasons why ETH price is still so low compared to its actual value? Isn't it like 70% of all the prominent ICO's, IEO's, STO's are all built on top of the Ethereum network? They require buying gas to run right? Wouldn't that create demand, and result in an increasing price for ETH? Is it safe to say it's being price suppressed? Or do I not understand how the platform works?

What you are saying is true. And those are the very reasons why Ethereum is always ranked next to Bitcoin. If I am not mistaken, the Ethereum Blockchain is the most utilized blockchain. The price of ETH is not suppressed. It is a fact that Bitcoin is still the most sought after coin by investors. Ethereum only comes second. But that second spot has been held by Ethereum for the longest time. That reflects how investors are prioritizing altcoins.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Altcoins can get you Rekt on: September 19, 2019, 02:15:54 AM
Often times I read various posts of people/traders/investors preaching HODLing some altcoins for years and so on thus I took some to research on altcoins 3years and guess what? Most of the altcoins in 2016 are no more to found anymore. You can take a deep look as well via https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/20160103/

My candid advise is to trade with the five senses intact and not with emotions. Don't get on some shitcoins with the intention to hold for years else you might get rekt.

You cannot just say generic statements such as HODLing will bring you profit or its opposite HODLing will get you rekt. Getting rekt or getting profit are both possibilities. If you take a look at the historical data of prices, there are so many altcoins that have already given more than a thousand percent of profit over the years. In the same way that there are also a lot of altcoins that have given negative or even death certificates of their coins.

My point is that, choose the best altcoins. The most solid altcoins are those that have maintained their top spots for years. If you choose those that are pretty much unknown, you will most likely get rekt.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statistics: Geez, I thought there were more females in bitcoin community on: September 18, 2019, 02:21:23 AM
I wonder how Google Analytics did this.

This statistics, as it appears to me, is hardly believable. I mean, really? Women only comprised less than 10% of Bitcoin Community Engagement? Well, first and foremost, how do they measure "Bitcoin Community Engagement?" Or perhaps what is "Bitcoin Community Engagement?" to them?

Telegram is just one of the so many platforms where Bitcoin ideas could be discussed. Bitcoin has been discussed online and offline, in the academe, in seminars, in governments, and so on. How could they be able to measure gender in all these venues?
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bullrun on next BTC ATH? on: September 17, 2019, 02:33:00 AM
At this point, ETH is a bit undervalued. And we cannot talk of ETH bull run for as long as BTC is still stuck below its 2019 highest price. BTC has to break its 2019 highest price first before it might finally climb straight to testing its ATH. All eyes are in BTC as of the moment. ETH will have to make way for BTC for the meantime. I have no problem with it. My ETH is always staying with me.
