341  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: November 27, 2017, 01:47:28 PM
You only have to pay tax on Bitcoin when it's legalized in your country or atleast holding notcoin or the bitcoin transactions are not termed as illegal. As in my country, Bitcoin is not legalized but still not banned so I still can exchange Bitcoin into cash and don't have to pay tax,if I am not selling bitcoin and making profit. But now I still have to exchange Bitcoin into cash if I wanna buy anything so I hope that Bitcoin will be legalized in my country that I can easily use Bitcoin to buy everything I want online directly

That's entirely false. It doesn't have to be legalized if you are earning a regular income through bitcoin or any other digital goods then you are susceptible to capital gains which you need to declare. Depending on the governments view on Bitcoin as it's different in many countries depends on whether you need to pay tax or not.

Some countries only tax it once it's been converted to fiat currencies.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price reaches 9735.00 US Dollar, where to invest now? on: November 27, 2017, 01:42:00 PM
This is probably going to be the highest it will reach and a price correction could soon be on the cards therefore I recommend investing in alt coins for the time being and wait for the correction and evaluate from there.
343  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Good exchange to start buying cryptocurrencies? on: November 27, 2017, 01:26:06 PM
Coinbase is my go to as they are extremely trustworthy and very quick and hassle free service. other than that I recommend kraken.
344  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Purchasing Smite/Rocketleague accounts on: November 27, 2017, 12:59:02 PM
I have a rocket league account which is at diamond level. I'm not willing to sell my account  but could offer you some boosting sessions.
345  Other / Off-topic / Re: How safe is Google 2FA Software? on: November 04, 2017, 04:16:32 PM
I mean if you trust google then that's fine and it's probably secure but they are likely to leak details to the nsa.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: More ETH Minining output after the Fork on: October 29, 2017, 05:07:34 PM
Let's do some math.
Blocktime decreased from 30s to 15s.
Block reward decreased from 5eth to 3eth.
Profitability ratio = (3eth/15s)/(5eth/30s) = 1.2

Theoretically there should be 20% profitability increase.

It would be a bit lower as more people will mine ETH.

Ok, so I can have the mini version of the RX 570 for 40€ less than the regular price, and in great quantities. So I am wondering if these models are to be avoided or not in term of heat. So, what do you think, wise idea or not to take some ?

If you do not overclock and know how to undervolt, these cards are good.

But the fact that I can not overclock comes from limitations from the GPU itself or from heat problems that will happen ?

you are saving 40 Euro a card..  I had a lot of  rx 470 xfx

https://www.rakuten.com/prod/xfx-rx-470p4sfd5-amd-radeon-rx-470-4gb-gddr5-dvi-hdmi-3displayport-pci/308601508.html?listingId=592993075

really good price but they mine a little slower due to overheat issues

still they were 159 usd  I mined them for 2 months and sold them at 150 usd.

made about 30 bucks a card.

I saw you buy and sell a lot and made some profit. But if you add the time you spend, would it be more profitable just to hold on them?

349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pushing ETC to $2.00 on: January 01, 2017, 06:42:59 PM
will ETC or ETH the best invest for 2017?
I don't think so. This current pump of ETC is strange, certainly not caused by organic growth. Come on, over 30% rise in recent 24h? Tell me it is natural.
Soon it will drop massively - don't be baited by whales trying to pump it. There are better altcoin with brighter future to invest: Zcash & Zcoin, Maidsafecoin, Dash, Syscoin.
Its really just a normal movement for altcoin on which they rise or fall on huge percentage on a short period of time but as expected they will do the opposite way in a short period of time too. On the coins that you suggested i would not include that shitcoin zcash because i dont see any brighter future on that coin.

You are right. The price might drop soon.
350  Economy / Economics / Re: An Honest Introduction to Money on: November 29, 2016, 08:31:59 AM
In my opinion, money is just a tool to make our deals and trades easiest and successful. And also its a powerful tool to get good level of living .
In addition to what you mention, money is a tool that is meant for exchange to take pace and legally accepted by the government of a particuar territory. This is because if a government did not regard an item as a means of exchange, then it cannot be regarded as money.

Even we live and die for money as we can buy anything for money.

Consider Government cancelling a piece of paper money and all the paper money just becoming useless worth of paper only. So its WE who have given the value to money.

That just happened in India. The government just make the old 1000 Ruby notes illegal and people have to exchange to new ones.
351  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-27] Stash Launches ‘Bank In A Box’ Bitcoin Full Node on: October 28, 2016, 11:31:40 AM
"‘A Powerful Turnkey Transaction Server’

Stash said members of its staff have been coding rigorously for over six years to provide this software to the public. Stash Node Pro is a “powerful turnkey transaction server and mobile financial platform, built on Open-Transactions and the blockchain,” says CEO Cliff Baltzley. The startup believes consumers have been looking for a turnkey device that is accessible from their mobile wallets. With the Stash Node Pro, the developers say “among other things, it’s a bank in a box; your own, personal bank.”

The Bitcoin full node contains a self-hosted copy of the blockchain and can support any block size in the future. The startup has also designed a stand-alone mobile app which can pair with the Stash Node Pro. This gives the user access to their own blockchain copy at all times. In essence, the entire platform gives financial control to the owner by enabling a trustless device with censorship resistant capability.

Currently, there isn’t a node on the market that has Open-Transaction software integration. The team believes these features add significant value to the Stash node, alongside a pairable mobile wallet interface. The Stash mobile wallet also utilizes BIP47 payment codes and enables “two-way Bitcoin addresses with fungibility and full on-chain privacy.” The founders of Stash believe that the public has desired a platform with a broad range of cryptographic procedures for quite some time. Stash CEO Cliff Baltzley explained:

Bitcoin professionals and enthusiasts have been seeking a way to gain access to a complete financial and cryptography software suite, and Stash has responded to this demand by creating a self-contained hardware device that addresses a multitude of needs.
‘Revolutionary Features Coming Soon’

Stash details that they are developing “revolutionary features” with an architecture based on freedom and prosperity. In the future, the team plans on implementing more protocols to the Stash financial infrastructure. Innovations coming soon include trustless coin mixing, multi-signature technology, cold storage applications, SMS integrations, multi-currency support, payments through SMS texting, and much more.

The startup Stash hopes this product and its upcoming innovations will help spread “true financial autonomy.” The company will be accepting a limited number of pre-orders for the founder’s edition of the Stash Node Pro. Pre-orders are currently available for purchase with Bitcoin only, and free FedEx shipping is included. The startup says it has quite a lot of devices in stock and will begin shipping orders on November 18. Stash looks forward to providing a node with the foundations of privacy in mind and believes consumers will as well."

That is right. The money is just a medium. So the bitcoin can be the best money as it has limited supply.
353  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-03] Regulatory Delay of Bitcoin Mining Manufacturer Avalon Acquisition on: October 03, 2016, 05:25:44 PM
"Avalon Acquisition Hits A Big Setback
This particular deal revolves around the sale of Avalon parent company Canaan, who are the ones responsible for manufacturing the Bitcoin mining hardware. The company quickly made a name for itself through their Avalon Bitcoin miners, which operate using application-specific integrated circuits, or ASIC technology.
In fact, Canaan was the one of the first companies to bring these devices to the global market, which attributed to their success over the years. Ever since that decision, various other players emerged, although very few remain successful today. BitMain is one of the largest Bitcoin hardware manufacturers that is still standing today.

Canaan was looking to strike a deal with Shandong Luyitong, as they announced in June of 2016. Both companies seemed to have come to an agreement, yet they require Shenzhen Stock Exchange regulatory approval to finalize the deal. As is usually the case with these types of acquisitions, there is a lot of administrative work to be done.
The regulators looked closely at auditing Canaan and Shandong Luyitong. Unfortunately, it appears as if the deal will fall through, due to the “uncertain aspect inherent to Bitcoin.” At the same time, Canaan is being labeled as a company dealing with “perceived risks”, as their position in the Bitcoin mining ecosystem is uncertain right now.

Looking To The Future With A New Bitcoin Miner
While this is not the news either company was looking for, there is a silver lining in all of this. Canaan feels they have come out stronger due to this independent audit, and remain hopeful for the deal to get approved in the coming months. Even if Shandong Luyitong would decide not to go ahead with this acquisition, Canaan feels they will garner interest from other parties.
Keeping such a positive attitude speaks volumes for Canaan and their team. Rather than dwell on what might - or even should - have been by now, they continue to look forward. More importantly, they take the positive side of this development and use it to their advantage. In a way, this “bump in the road” has refreshed the company’s public image, which is invaluable for a Bitcoin company looking to be part of the biggest acquisition in the cryptocurrency space to date.
What is even more important is how Canaan is looking to release their 16nm Bitcoin ASIC regardless of how this scenario plays out. Not too many details are known regarding this new Avalon miner, though. More competition in the Bitcoin mining hardware market will only benefit customers all over the world, which is a positive development."
354  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-09-18] coindesk.com] Bitcoin and the Brave Future of Browsers on: September 18, 2016, 06:42:18 PM
"In the case of ThePoint.com, every marketing dollar spent would have bled off and benefited another domain name – Point.com. And, it was just plain uninspiring.

A week or two later, I met Andrew at the same spot. Andrew seemed like he was bursting at the seams to tell me the new name of the company. He had this dead-honest huge smile on his face when he said “Groupon! We are a group coupon.”

Think what you may of the company over the years, what the startup has or hasn’t become, but I’ll never forget seeing that intense moment of clarity in a founder’s eyes.

I had this same moment recently when investigating Brave, a bitcoin-based content monetization startup. Having launched the first large-scale test of this concept with The Chicago Sun-Times, I had high expectations and some reservations.

But as CEO Brendan Eich spoke of his unique experience in browser knowledge, and why his company might be the one to change the modern browser dynamic, he said in a self-deprecating tone: “I worked for 20 years in the coal mines.”

There are only a handful of individuals on the planet who know how to build a web browser to the extreme – Brendan is one of those. We talked about quite a few things, but most importantly, to me, I asked them to tell me the story behind choosing the name, Brave.

It was riveting, but it also spoke to my own journey with bitcoin as well."

I was very trouble to collect BTC,
I want to ask

means anything that can be used to collect BTC? Then the means which are getting more BTC?
There Are Many Methods Available To Collect Btc But According To Me The Easiest Method to Collect Btc is That You Can Join A Signature Campign And Start Posting In This Forum Or You Can Offer Your Services In The Services Section Of This Forum.....

You have to be able to post good quality posts now to join the signature campaign. For most people, it is not ideal.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: August 24, 2016, 12:44:34 PM
ETH and ETC counting their last days, already we can see they are slowing down.
We could see major crash of one of those..And whales probably awaiting new fresh blood..

Their dollar price might be going down at present. But their bitcoin price is more or less stable. When the summer holiday finishes, the price will go up.

I think the ETH price will rise a lot when the Etheruem Foundation dumps the Ethereum Classic to the market.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: August 08, 2016, 07:29:09 AM
ETH hac no chance to increase again back because they are converting to ETC so better to dont expect to by ethereum..
Instead by ETC

Vitalik said he will be 100% with ETH. So I think there is very small chance for the ETC to succeed.

I also saw many developers and corporations will be with the ETH. But it is possible the same service can be used by ETC.

You can cut-and-paste code. You cannot cut-and-paste talented individuals/businesses who make DAPPS

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/4w9fvq/you_can_cutandpaste_code_you_cannot_cutandpaste/?st=irj6o877&sh=cb1fc360

That is right. So if the ETC is not supported by many developers, it is just another pump and dump scam coin.

In the short term, the ETC price is more affected by the intention of the hacker. If he does not support it, the price will crash.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: July 26, 2016, 07:45:01 PM
There are two Ethereum now. The Ethereum hard for and the Ethreum Classic. Which bubble do you think will pop?

I think the Ethereum Classic (ETC) will be attacked by some people as it is an easy target with low hashing.

The ETC price dropped 40% since 24 hours ago. Somebody said they will put a buy wall of 0.0001, it is not there.

The ETC price has risen 300% in the last 20 hours. So it is in big demand. It might be a good investment.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: July 16, 2016, 07:56:01 AM
You thought it would be dead because of all the FUD some people created. But they didnt FUD because they cared about your well being, they FUD-ed to buy it. Simple.

That could be right. I think these guys wants to buy the Etheruem cheap, but the price is still over $10.

One of the ways I got my first few satoshis was claiming them on a faucet rotater website. After that I took those few satoshis and gambled with them, and from that point onwards its been growing and shrinking. Good intro for me when i was a noob person. Now the best way is to just buy some when the price is kinda low and within your price range. How to let it grow from that point onwards is an unsure thing to say the least and there are no guaranteed ways to make profits without risks.. So be carefull when you reach that point  Grin

Wow that's a good start for you as a newbie with bitcoin. And you are right, buying bitcoin today is really a good way of investment and collecting
more and more bitcoins.

If you want to hold it for a really long term then buying at a moment is a really good thing to do as price will be really very higher in future which can give best returns.

Investing for  long term in bitcoin is really a good way to earn in bitcoin but you need to have a capital in able to start that kind of investment.
You really need to buy bitcoin today as the price of bitcoin today is kinda low then it is recommended to buy bitcoins now.

You just need a few dollars worth of bitcoin, for example, 0.01 bitcoin to do some trading. There is no minimum limit.
