I think its because gambling gives comfort to some gamblers. As a gamer, I feel comfortable when I am playing games although I can't say that I have been addicted to games but almost  . I know that when you enter here you had your coins in higher value from the value now so if you sell your everything you might loss your money instead of gaining from it. I definetly agree that the low price is great at a time however when the low price stays low for a long time than it costs us chances. I do not enjoy having low amounts of bitcoin and also keeping it at a low price as well, I need bitcoin to go up as well as go down.
Now I hate volatility as much as the next guy but without going up the low prices are not good all by itself. So yeah it is a great time to buy bitcoin however it is not great that it doesn't go up more than %10 at a time. We need a bigger spike and need a longer term for bull for it to stay there without that this low price is worthless all by itself.
