It's the same as suing Craig Wright who claims to be Satoshi and he obvious is not.
I don't think the forum is right projected, but there is more chance to sue all those phishing clones of the forum like bitcointalk.to than the bitcoin.com

The type of over-pumping topics usually contain many pyramid quotes, which are almost non-sense discussion, inside. Hate to say this, but pyramid quotes hurt my fingers and take lots of my time to scroll computer mouse to scan and find worthy posts to read.
You can easily report them as they are listed in the rules. The question is if a thread is full of those fake conversations isn't it better to just lock the entire thread and notify the OP that if this continues he will be banned.

You have an alt account with more than 70 activity and you used it to complain about being banned?? If you got banned, this account will "burn" too as the ban is personal, not only account related.
I can't find a legit post in the first few pages, only bounty reports...
Just for future reference :http://archive.fo/d8tAx

I have enabled post count
How do you do that? The first thing I did was try to find a setting for it but I couldn't find one. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FlTn7PgO.png&t=663&c=IvTz7-x5AaHHIw)

Most important are the bounty managers. If they required merit to join their campaign, this is a good sign but not a 100% protection. Check their trust page to see if there are any shady activities. Scam accusation board is also a place to check for scam projects. You have to follow the projects too, if you see shady behavior from the project members, just leave before it's too late. There are many guides how to invest in ICOs and how to choose good icos, the same criteria apply for joining campaigns. Just browse the forum, you will find what you are looking for.

Weird, never had this problem, I have enabled post count, and use both Chrome and Firefox.

I don't know how this happened is it just a coincidence but you literally read my mind for the last few days. I was wondering based on given registration date or range, how many have actually ranked up accordingly. So it is almost what I was thinking about.

I think we are a bit too strict, theymos whats to have more open space for the newbies and as suchmoon said, good post can be written by anyone no matter trust, merit, rank, etc. I'm trying to be a bit more open minded to the newbies. Well, some deserve to where they are now, but the forum is a bit like prison and everyone is criminal until proven wrong. I was supporting this approach in the begging but I see now things are changing, the last merit rule filter a lot of crap from the here and now some good posters began to appear.

When Satoshi was a cool mystery person we all loved him. Now that we see the real person - who would believe he would be such a complete asshole that is going to ruin Bitcoin Cash with a 51% attack.
Craig Wright is a real asshole. Fuck off Satoshi. I hate Satoshi now.

Its funny how these people react like they do not know anything about their wrongdoings. They just spam all the way around the forum to get paid by these shitty ICO's and not caring for the betterment of the community ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) . That would be the effect if you only care for yourself and let money control your attitudes inside the forum. They know very well what they did wrong, because copy-pasting is not allowed and you consciously have to do it, you cannot say it was by mistake or something, so they know really good what they were doing but still, try to get between the raindrops and stay dry

Looks really suspicious, but this is normal in the crypto world. Let me ask then was your previous domain :

Hello Theymos,
I had created this account and upgraded to copper member by making payment, I was using this properly even last day but when I viewed my profile today it shows you are a newbie member instead of showing copper member. Please check what's the problem going on and upgrade it to copper member again. Waiting for your good response...
Thank you
Check if you are wearing the copper membership. You can check it here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FH2HjWve.png&t=663&c=ifx0qa_9eN-www)

Opening new sections means hiring new moderators /or use the existing/. Altcoin boards are already drawn in spam so the mods will have more to deal with. Isn't it better to reduce the spam instead of making a new place to spam?

Actually the forum mechanics be really confusing for a new member. Though there is nothing wrong with more threads. It gives variety of choice. Also I have not noticed your thread at the time of writing. Some are walls of texts, some are small threads. One might not want to read a wall of text with calculations to get a general idea on how to stuff works, one might want a detailed explanation. So as you see more threads aren't necessarily a bad thing. And complaining when a user makes a guide might not really help either. It's like you are asking users to try to be less helpful.
It's a free forum so everyone can do what they want. As long as you don't cross line of the rules, you are fine. I'm just pointing out the facts here and giving my opinion. Do what you feel is good for the forum. For me this was just a merit-hunt attempt.

Thanks, I shall definitely try it. I gave you my last merit just a second ago for the other comment (still ROFL) but consider it also for this one. Sorry no more merit, maybe I shall apply for a merit source ... jk...

b..but.. muh merits? @OP: if you're planning on creating a guide, at least attempt to beat the existing guides we have right now. There's no point of creating one that's a lot less helpful. This made me laugh like hell, really ... ... @OP, ups, I gave it to the "wrong" guy, right? /s

Wonder if there is a way to check the balance in a given SegWit wallet address, mobile app will be the best option, but I can bookmark a link too. I found one mobile app that adds widget for every address, very cool but of course it doesn't work with SegWit addresses.

Just wondering is this considered as a merit begging ?? ~ I will be grateful for merit and if it is, will be there any consequences or not? There were some discussions about the giving red trust for merit abuse, but I don't know what happen at the end.
