Two new bitcoin sportsbooks have entered the ratings this week. Webetcoins.com and Gobetgo.com both opened the ratings at D+. Webetcoins.com is offering extremely low juice in baseball: 5 cent lines on sides and 10 cent lines on totals.  Gobetgo.com also talks openly about a desire to offer the lowest juice of all bitcoin books, but that isn’t the case yet. A quick look at Friday’s lines for MLB shows Gobetgo.com is using 17 cent lines for sides, and 12 cent lines on totals.

It bears repeating once again: The popularity of bitcoins has led to a number of new businesses using the digital currency, with casinos and sportsbooks near the top of the list. New sportsbooks, dealing either with bitcoins or postup, are likely to fail. It has been estimated less than 10% of all sportsbooks make it at least one year before folding. Anonibet and Nitrogen Sports have passed the time test; one can feel relatively confident they are planning to stay for the long haul. The newer books haven’t had the opportunity to show this endurance, so are riskier to the average player. Caution is advised.

DirectBet- I think that you should offer both sides of wagers. Many times you just offer one side such as Mia/Brook in game. Brooklyn is +166 but no odds on Mia.

New broker opened. Evolvebets is similar to SBOBitcoin.

Books include SBOBet, IBCbet and TBSBET.

Anybody know anything about them?

Offhand I'd prefer SBOBitcoin.com, as they have 24/7 live chat and 24/7 withdrawals, while this place is down for 7.5 hrs/day and their chat currently says "Leave a message" so if they do have live chat it is not 24/7 either.
I never heard of them but it doesn't make any sense to use them unless you like TBSBET and I've never heard of that book either.

DirectBet - The default goes to

Flexible Odds. Recommended In-Play. Confirm bet at the best available odds by the time the bet transfer is received. Odds might be higher or lower than current quoted odds.

My personal opinion is that the default should be firm odds. Most that play live aren't use to being able to receive worse odds.

Every time I go in to make a new bet it switches to flexible odds. That's blind betting.

Hi. Sorry for the delay in responding, and thanks everyone for your responses. I'm no spring chicken with internet scams. I did the obvious thing anyone would do ahead of knowing this board even existed. I googled 'bitcoin casinos'. And beyond the likely paid promo sites that i had to wade through, i found this post on this forum, which to date has seen only my recent reply as the only negative comment about them.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=462479.0

As you will see, i also posted a reply to the thread above.

I didn't know there was a rating system in place here. I have learned plenty about how to ID more legit sites since this experience, but to those that snicker or think its another example of a fool and his money parting, I based my decision partly on any lack of negative feedback from this board, following the site promoting themselves in the thread above.

Later, when searching for other posts about bitbet.com being a scam, It's a little noisy, because there's lots of people talking about bitbet.US, and you see all kinds of complaints and support.

Player states that he's not being paid by Bitbet (unrated). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=598409.0

I deposited .10 BTC on bitbet.com, requested a cashout for roughly the same as was deposited, and have not received any kind of payout. Despite multiple status inquiries, I have not received any contact or payout. A transcript of a chat session is copied below. Keep in mind, this is a cashout of .10 BTC - we're not talking a lot. If they can't handle .10 BTC...

Given the delay, the multiple inquires that turned up flat, what reasonable person could read the below, and feel confident they were dealing with an honest company?

Chris: BITBET.COM CHAT REQUEST Hello. I am for the 3rd time requesting status of cashout request for ID BITXXXXXXX. Thanks

You are now speaking with Carolina of Payouts Questions.

Chris: hello.

Carolina: Hi Chris!
Chris: hows your day going?

Carolina: Good Chris! Thanks for asking!
Chris: i requested a cashout a week ago, perhaps longer now. i thought the expected wait was to be around 24 hours. im just concerned. reading a lot of negative stuff, and this being my first cashout attempt, you kind of want that to go smoothly to build up trust.

Carolina: Ok sir let me check
Carolina: Ok Chris
, I passed your information to my supervisor, and she goes to commission for resolving.
Just be ready to have your information, we will be sending a confirmation.
We will give you as soon as possible the payout.

Chris: is there an explanation for the delay?

Chris: and i don't understand why i would not receive any kind of confirmation to my email immediately upon requesting the cashout

Carolina: Yes sir,
we have delays with Bitcoins, but we will prioritize you to have the information as soon as possible

Chris: What am i confirming in the confirmation?

Chris: or are you confirming my cashout?

Carolina: That
has already processed your payout

Chris: i see. so, everyone lately has been experiencing delays due to issues with bitcoins?

Carolina: There are enough in the process
Chris: ok. thanks for your time. i hope to see a successful cashout so that trust is established. as of now, im still worried.

Carolina: Your welcome sir
Carolina: Have a good day!

If someone knows how to get a line history on 4/19 match between Olympique Lyon - Paris St. German , France Coupe de la Ligue, can you PM it to me. I use Sports Options and it doesn't have it. I'm looking for what the line was during all of 4/15. Thanks

What is the sport / Team name you are after. It is probably in the webetcoins.com database ; can probably retrieve it for you
PM sent. I was looking for the line at the time that the player placed his bet on this soccer wager. Thank You

DirectBet has been making changes and their pre game lines are becoming competitive.

In response to your feedback we have significantly increased the odds across the board for most of our bets, especially pre-game.

DirectBet - I'm not going to change the ratings here based upon my personal opinion. If you do come in here bashing another book, then I will go in your thread with my personal thoughts on your book. This includes credibility among many other things. I think it's only fair since you are using your thread to discredit PeepsPlace.
3416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings and Reviews of all the bitcoin sports books. Post problems and feedback. on: May 04, 2014, 09:23:01 AM
@Peeps it really doesnt make sense to discredit dplay . Anoni confirmed the issue .

I'm not trying to discredit the poster. I also don't want to present a haphazard case to the forum. I'll look at the time that the bet was placed along with the market price. Then it will be presented to the forum along with any other facts that may be relevant.

The forum will then make a decision. Ratings are determined by decisions of the posters. Peeps Place is in a no win situation if we side with the player or book. We are either accused of being on the take or extortion. The players can post their opinions.

Any word on Jetwin? They offered me a good bonus with imrpoved T&C. Their website looks good and functional. Lines seem good for a bitcoinbook.
No problems with them as far as payouts. The major complaint was with their rules.
3418  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings and Reviews of all the bitcoin sports books. Post problems and feedback. on: May 03, 2014, 05:12:24 PM
If a poster is having problems getting paid from a book, I ask you to do it in this way:

1. Try to work it out with the book.
2. If that doesn't work, then bring it to the forums.
3. Please do not threaten a book to bring it to this thread if you are not paid. This thread is not to be used for forum extortion. Players that are rightfully owed should be paid but there is a correct way to go about it.

DirectBet tried to spin things because he feels unfairly treated. I'm on the players side and the book doesn't matter. This thread is for the players.
3419  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings and Reviews of all the bitcoin sports books. Post problems and feedback. on: May 03, 2014, 04:47:40 PM
Peeps Place, what do you have anything to add to my dispute with Anonibet? What is your final opinion on that? Who is wrong, the sportsbook or the player? Do you lack any additional info?
This is what I have to add. You are a first time poster. You claimed that Anonibet canceled a bet. I told you multiple times to send me the email that you sent to Anonibet and that I would look up a line history on archives.

I don't want what Anonibet sent you. I would need their approval but you refuse to give me information. How can a book be downgraded on the word of a first time poster with no proof?

On one side we have a book in existence since 2011 with a history of having not one stiff job or unfair cancellation. On the other side we have a first time poster that refuses to work with me.
3420  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ratings and Reviews of all the bitcoin sports books. Post problems and feedback. on: May 03, 2014, 04:51:37 AM
What you say is unethical. We plug in promotional sections at other forums. I'm in an airport so will reply tonight if I don't finish. We plug at cash forums to turn them into bitcoin books. We also send out articles in publications.

Look at the date of my PMs. Your book has drastically changed since then. You no longer have line lines because of the hold on bets. This means that DirectBet is now useless. Your theoretical hold is outrageous.

You keep spreading false information about us.

You were betting in-play on DirectBet several times during April, as recent as April 26th, just 3 days before this story broke out, then you come here and say that we are useless ?

Why instead don't you give us credit for offering bets that were not available by your top rated books ?

I tried to play. Me bets were getting rejected. Some said pending and then 5 seconds later said rejected. That's why I'm saying that your book has become useless. You were good months ago but changes have been made.

I try to stay unbias and Directbet has seen my feedback. They are C-level book in my opinion. Just wanted to state that yesterday did place 2 nba wagers and the juice was not extreme for live betting. Line was 1.9/1.9 at some times. Good you lowered your hold.
thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming guys.
