3401  Other / Meta / Re: Does anyone want a "I'm in the area lets hangout board" on: November 09, 2020, 06:42:08 AM
I know we are a but more privacy focused then a lot of online places, just wondering if anyone would be into it.
I would like to show my interest as well [without factoring in complications due to Coronavirus] but given what it takes for theymos to create a new board/sub-board, I think our best route would be to go with hilariousandco's suggestion [not the latter part Cheesy] and only push this idea back to the top once there are enough threads for having such board.
3402  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: We want to create a payment gateway with cryptocurrencies. Can you help us? on: November 08, 2020, 07:20:23 AM
  • Have you ever bought with cryptocurrencies? What you buy? How was your experience? What would you like to improve?
Yes, I have. Mostly digital goods.
- Normally, I have a great experience but if I would like to see an improvement, it would definitely be "instant completion [receive codes immediately]", not a big deal though.

  • How often do you shop using cryptocurrencies?
Once every two weeks [at least].

  • How much money do you usually invest in cryptocurrencies in a month?
I've said this before: I hate seeing the words invest/investment and cryptocurrencies in a single sentence.

  • What cryptocurrencies do you usually use?
BTCitcoin.

  • What cryptocurrency platforms fo you usually use? (Coinbase, Binance, MetaMask, ...)
I would prefer not to disclose it.

  • What do you usually use cryptocurrencies for? (Trading, Buy products, Hold, ...)
Both buying products and trading.

  • What would you like to be able to do with cryptocurrencies? (Buy products, Exchange, Send to other wallet, ...)
Mainly, buying products.
3403  Economy / Goods / Re: Contacts of crypto founders and influencers on: November 07, 2020, 10:11:48 AM
Hi. I have direct telegram contacts of approximately 200 founders of crypto projects like Ethereum, Polkadot, Tron, Chainlink, and Twitter influencers with over 50k subscribers. DM in telegram for price @mrbogdanov
Regardless of the way you obtained that information, it doesn't give you the right to capitalize on it without asking the permission [I'm sure you haven't] of those founders and influencers.

3404  Other / Meta / Re: Irfan_pak10's Merit source RE-application on: November 07, 2020, 07:57:29 AM
I believe this one is a bit too old [2018] for the purpose of this thread:

2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months
~Snipped~

You might want to change how everything is formatted for this "post"...
- As it stands, it looks like "you've jumped from #7 to #10" and therefore it gives the wrong impression of having only 8 posts.

Since you're applying to be a merit source for a local board, perhaps it would be best to only list posts from your local section as opposed to a few that aren't from there [e.g. #3, #5 and #6].
Good luck with your application Smiley
3405  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] xlux is planning to launch an HYIP soon on: November 06, 2020, 09:12:58 AM
we can make changes according to suggestions as long as customers are happy as the customers are the kings.
The fact that you're willing to alter your whole structure just to get a few clients is more than enough proof that states nothing about your initial plan was true.

we take very seriously to provide best for our customers and im proud to be in this team im just a small fish [scammer] but im proud to be and learn from bigger fishes [scammers] in this.
FTFY Roll Eyes

3406  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Try our new URL Shorteners with No Popup and Pop Under ads on: November 04, 2020, 09:12:41 AM
Payment Frequency: With in 15 Days After the Request.

Payment Methods: Paypal, Bitcoin, Googlepay
Not sure why it takes 15 days to process payments [especially BTCitcoin]!
- Even if you're going with batching payments [at least once a day would be reasonable].

Note: This Rate Are Our Approx CPM Rate. We Change Our CPM rate Daily
Care to explain what affects your CPM rates on a daily basis?
3407  Economy / Reputation / Re: Using the trust system for personal Vendetta on: November 04, 2020, 07:25:10 AM
Here as well after icopress's PM...

I'm not going to comment in regards to whether it was a plagiarized post or not since other users did a great job at giving detailed explanations but I would like to point to two things...

  • All of this began with a simple misunderstanding on WhiteManWhite's part on two occasions:
  • Not sure why all of those so-called plagiarized posts by icopress is still there...
    - AFAIK, it should be counted/reported as off-topic/spam since it has nothing to do with Wall Observer's thread [unless I'm missing something].

None of these dramas would happen if all of us could practice having an impartial view of the surroundings.

Is WhiteManWhite on DT or what?  I don't even know how to tell anymore without searching Meta for Theymos's monthly update thread, and even then I don't know who's on DT2.
Another workaround:

#2
You can view any page as if you were using the default trust settings by putting ;dt at the end of the URL. Eg. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=35;dt
3408  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: tipvote.com - Like Reddit but integrated cryptocurrencies on: November 03, 2020, 12:30:56 PM
Run your room like a business.
Is there a certain feature that is only dedicated to room owners as opposed to normal posters?

I've been looking for something like this for a very long time [bookmarked] but you might want to change the steps for opening/reading each post [it took me a while to figure it out since clicking the title/picture did nothing].
- A light/dark switch button would be nice as well.
3409  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: A New Market to Bet on Bitcoin Price - No Registration on: November 03, 2020, 10:44:10 AM
The amount you win is based on the size of your bet relative to the others on your same side. For example, if the price closes Over the spot price and you own 10% of all the purchased Over contracts, you will receive 10% of the total of the Under contracts.
Does it mean there will be no platform fees?

Contracts cannot be purchased in the final two hours before expiration.
Any purchases during the 10PM-12AM blackout will be considered a donation.
You might want to consider either hiding those addresses completely or simply censor a big portion of it upon reaching the last two hrs.

Overall, it looks interesting.

Complete setup at a cheap price. don't be late  Smiley
You'll probably get more clients if you update/edit your post with the following things:

  • A portfolio of some sort to showcase your past works.
  • Price range.

While you're at it, pay attention to the following rules as well:

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e]

21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.
3411  Other / Meta / Re: A request for this feature: on: November 03, 2020, 05:19:48 AM
Currently/Last Seen :         (Bitcoin Forum > Other > Meta > Start new topic)
IIRC, we had that feature back in the day but it was a bit hidden since you had to go to the "Members" page then go over the "view all members [currently disabled]" tab and simply scroll over thousands of names in the list before you could find the one you're looking for.

  • I can't recall if we had to hover over the names or a certain icon in order to see that information [couldn't find any SS or an archive page since it's a private page].
  • AFAIK, we never had that feature under the "search for members" tab.

@jamyr
- Not sure if that page was disabled for that same reason or as part of something else, but I have a strong feeling we're not going to get it back any time soon.
3412  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [FREE RAFFLE] 5x Coldkey masks w/ embroidery - Hand made by a French couturier. on: November 02, 2020, 05:45:28 PM
Hey SFR10,

I'm not sure to understand what you said about the next drawn block. Can you explicit please ?

These lots will be shipped from France. Smiley
Sorry, I should've used better words. I meant if my pick became one of the five winning spots and if it was going to be shipped from the US, then you should consider my spot as invalid and as a result, disregard it but that's no longer the issue [thank you for addressing my issue] Smiley

The masks have been hand crafted by Telos.
Here you can find their Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/teloscostumier/
I'm impressed Smiley

SFR10: Pool 3, Spot a Smiley

Kindly go with the next drawn block [or disregard my pick] if these will be shipped from the US [if that's where the "french craftsman" is residing].
3414  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any art marketplace for crypto? on: November 02, 2020, 02:51:11 PM
Is there any marketplace where artists can sell their works for crypto? Maybe online galleries or specific webistes or auctions.
You can try selling your art on the following platforms:

Or maximize your exposure with the following subreddit pages:

Take note: I prefer to not vouch for any of the above platforms [kindly DYOR].

I've seen some artists auction their work in either "Collectibles" and "Auctions" sub-boards or instead, list them on either this section [goods] or "Services".
3415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 02, 2020, 12:53:15 PM
Arsenal's game has improved since Arteta handled it, especially Arsenal's defense is very solid. It is proven from 7 matches in
the Premier League that only 7 goals conceded. If Arsenal can consistently play like this, the top 4 target can be achieved this
season.

Even though Arsenal currently has the best defense in the league [on paper], they still need to improve [for top 4] when it comes to converting their chances.

Aston Villa losing were somewhat of a surprise to me.I am afraid now that the five wins of Aston Villa have been lucky and determined by coincidence and maybe they will keep losing from now on.
- Little correction: 4 wins out of 6.
- Since we're talking about EPL, any team could beat their opponent [unlike in other leagues].
- Their next week's clash with Arsenal is going to be a fun battle between both keepers.

ManU sucks anyway. I don't understand why people still consider this team is a strong team. Ole will soon be fired. The only thing this team has is money. But this is not enough to make the players focus on playing football appropriately. God. Surely there is no cure for this club.
There is one: Bring Sir Alex Ferguson back Wink
3416  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is https://crexbtc.com, exchange legit on: November 02, 2020, 11:21:52 AM
I have completed a secured deal in https://crexbtc.com

~Snipped~

I want to know is this a legit website or not?
I'm pretty sure I've seen "that template" before on a few other similar platforms so did some digging and found its sister sites [it's a rip-off]:

3417  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC tx accelerator works really? on: November 02, 2020, 09:17:54 AM
As what I read QS have access on some mining pool,
IIRC, "kano [active]" and "macbook-air [inactive]" have also an access.

I wonder if antpool's accelerator still working though, didnt use it for a long time now.
AFAIK, this link has been dead for a very long time [it gives an error on my side, I've tried changing my IP but had no luck].
- Can someone confirm if they can view this page normally [for those with accounts on antpool]?

ViaBTC's accelerator used to work at one time. Its defunct now.
I still use it on a regular basis [it's a bit harder but still functioning]...
Fun fact: Our last campaign payment [round 31] got its first confirmation through the use of ViaBTC's free accelerator.

Update:

Yes. I even grabbed a random transaction which is in the mempool and submitted it through them. It says the transaction was accelerated, so apparently, it still works (and probably even better than ViaBTC which never has free slots).
That's strange, I can't access it Angry

Update 2:

The last time we tried to ask CoolWave about it, SFR10 remembers it I am sure, it ended up being a childish thread in Reputation.
I do remember and I agree, it was a bit childish Smiley

3419  Other / Meta / Re: Image issue with bitcointalk and imgur. on: October 31, 2020, 09:09:35 AM
This is an example of link in which it displays proxy error even if it has "https" protocol, that's the link of my final entry in roobet contest.

Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/fssE31Z.jpg[/img]
Thank you for posting both examples. I checked and it looks like it's exceeding the "updated 2.5 MB" limit for images [your initial guess was correct "file size"]...
- Yours is 2.69 MB.

Before:
Images must be less than 1.5MB. Resize or compress your image.

Latest:
OK, I increased it to 2.5.
3420  Other / Meta / Re: Image issue with bitcointalk and imgur. on: October 31, 2020, 07:16:02 AM
However, there are some instances that the image appeared to be missing when you are copying a BBcode link dedicated for the forum even though it uses "https" protocol Huh
A bit hard to guess without giving some links as an example but I've noticed an issue in recent months that if you try to copy the code right after it says "Upload completed", you'll get a different code that comes with a combination of letter/numbers and hyphen sequences [it doesn't happen all the time].

e.g.

Code:
blob:https://imgur.com/c65a3881-d63e-4f37-8bb3-9704a5f2b7fd
https://imgur.com/c65a3881-d63e-4f37-8bb3-9704a5f2b7fd

In case that's what you're referring to, all you have to do is to wait a bit longer before copying the code.
