whats kinda funny? is the way difficulty is going up vs the price of like $240....it may be apples to apples for price vs difficulty no difference then 2 weeks ago! Double price just to 'tread water' on same USD mining amount per day is 'interesting' to say the least! Probably not that dire...but weird times indeed! Wild times |

Wow this d3 ROI really died rapidly. I'm looking at a few dirt cheap units atm and i'm wondering if there is any profits to be made. I am veteran to gpu mining with dozens of rigs built working just fine, and was looking at these cheap used d3s and i pay low electrixity around 0.07$ per kwh... Any experiences with numbers for actual returns nowadays?
Don't buy anything ..the D3's are soon to be doorstops at any price! (I have two, don't be me!) |

Despite the launch of bitcoin futures and subsequent speculation, it is likely that bitcoin will update new heights by the end of the year
on the other hand with futures market...is not when BTC goes down in price (it's usual .due to fear and ..FUD....of say 20% or so) the lows will go lower? and the pumps not as much...with these futures in place and their 'circuit breaker' options... In other words, by taming BTC price, you limit its range on pumps, and give more legitimacy to its dumps? Mainly due to low volumes on the exchanges and the temptation to 'short bitcoin price'? Educate me, please? Likely this is incorrect...but the people explaining futures and bitcoin in the press, seem universally AGAINST bitcoin and the futures market for any crypto..thus the FUD/noise on all this. |

Hi, everyone on this thread should ask bitmain for the official firmware update with the ability to regulate the chip voltage and the frequency also and a better fan regulation. We need a official firmware if we want to mantain the warrenty.

People asked this about the Bitmain L3 and Bitmain L3+ scrypt-pow miners.....they all were officially told, more or less, to piss off..... ie IF you had control of their firmware code on the scrypt-pow you might be able to tell if they were still using on BCH (or had used on BTC) ASIC boost on scrypt-pow stuff on their data halls, again now or in the past. thus IMHO, THEY WILL NEVER OPEN SOURCE FIRMWARE ON ANY CHIP x11 or not.... that and the fact they make 90% of all ASIC equip now of any flavor (x11, scrypt-pow, sha-256) also means they could tell you to piss off as well... I'm just pointing out a hard and fast why they really, really will never do so....if they do for some equip they will have to do for all or be expected to do for future equipment not gonna happen, ever, in my view  |

Why this constant 1k spread beetween gdax and finex/stamp?
The bitcoin network has too high a transaction fee for simple transfers, it will show iliquidity till resolved. As normal bank accounts become easier the bitcoin became harder, its a problem which will be addressed soon or will cause a negative feedback scenario I presume. The price has boundaries of $15,713 and $13,073 I think with direction and strength decided when passing those lines I think. Not especially weak price action otherwise they get lighting apps up and tools...that could change quickly> (on the other hand bitcoin core rarely changes quick) just saying...their supposed game plan |

The Bank and Gov't FUD'ster's say it is because it is an IMMATURE market....but they disallow ETF's and other roadblocks to that desired ends... Catch 22 or Have your FUD cake and eat it too! (SEC we can't do an ETF because we are the SEC, that puts regulations on stuff of an unregulated nature) Anyone else disregarding females (or males)?
Me, but just because they are better, than me ! Nope! Now as to females disregarding me...that is a daily/if common experience....
