Paul Pogba reported positive COVID-19, because of this he will be missed matches between France vs Swedia and Croatia next month. His position replaced by Rennes player Eduardo Camavinga.
Quote
Pogba was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 through tests and was immediately removed from the French national team squad. Apart from Pogba, midfielder Tanguy Ndombele (Tottenham Hotspur) was also released from the squad because he was positive for the Coronavirus.
like it's not only Pogba infected, Ndombele too...
This news will definitely make MU and Hotspur fans especially sad. hopefully, before the EPL starts, Pogba and Ndombele will be healed and can play to defend the team and also their country.

They’ll both be fine, they’re super fit, pro athletes in the prime of their lives. They probably aren’t even displaying symptoms but obviously it’s a good idea to keep them away from the other players in their squads.

This could be a very interesting thread as the current cycle plays out. We possibly won’t see real institutional FOMO until 2021 but once they get interested it’ll be like a stampede. They are not going to want to miss out on bitcoin’s next crazy run.

My net worth is a very high % in bitcoin, I have some other small amounts of shitcoins but no, nothing in stocks, no precious metals or anything else.
3425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: August 27, 2020, 08:36:16 PM
~snip~
And I'm not sure Liverpool is able to defend the Premier League trophies, possibly Manchester City
who will win the 2020/2021 season trophies.
I hope there will be a surprise with the new champion. But in my opinion it will be difficult to shift the dominance of the big clubs in EPL. To guess this it will be very difficult the competition will still last a long time. Looking at transfer seasons and players alone is impossible, if your guess is right it could be luck. But I think the champions will still be around MU, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpol, Man City and maybe Tottenham.

No surprises I think. The champion will be Manchester City or Liverpool. I’m leaning slightly towards thinking Man City will regain their crown. I think Chelsea 3rd & Man Utd 4th.

According to several media, Juventus have an agreement with AOUAR!

There is also a video with his mother popped out in the last hour where she said "he has a deal".

Is not confirmed yet the video is true also it is in Arabic so hard to understand.

Really?
I love Aourar, I’m really excited to see what he can do at a much bigger club. I have high hopes for this kid, he could be the next big thing.
3427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 26, 2020, 06:42:27 PM
Chelsea are really spending some money in this transfer window aren’t they. It looks like Abramovich really wants to have a proper shot at winning the big trophies again. They definitely look like they might be a force this season.

3000 mBTC that's a great prize and the consolation for most winning if no one got the 15 correct is 300mBTC which is not bad as well, are you having this promotion every week? Gonna have to test out my luck every week.

Looks like we're in danger of dropping below $11k USD/BTC.

HODL strong, gentlemen.

$11,261, holding strong at the moment, I hope the $11,000 holds. I am not in the mood for a return to $9,xxx or something.
Bears, you’ve had enough fun now, it’s time for higher highs.
3431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 26, 2020, 01:31:19 PM
Wow, this with Messi is getting serious. He's been doing stunts like these for a while now and Bartomeu already resigned but this time it looks a bit different - he seems to have had enough.

There are some rumors (from Honigstein and Ornstein) that Guardiola and Messi don't want another stint together - I really wonder where will he go if he leaves Barcelona. Nobody's talking about Man Utd but considering the lack of clubs in position to pay him, I think they are among favorites if City's not interested.

On the other hand, Balague reports City interest: https://twitter.com/GuillemBalague/status/1298555043436793862.

I just don’t see it happening, he will stay at Barcelona I think. I will be very surprised if he comes to the PL. The history is there with Pep but I don’t know, I think it’s unlikely.
3432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: August 26, 2020, 01:29:33 PM
Surely Messi won’t leave Barca, he has acted like this, similarly in the past. I really can’t see him moving to Man City, it just doesn’t seem possible to me. We will find out very soon though.

Koeman told Suarez and Vidal to find new clubs          https://twitter.com/totalBarca/status/1297890014194552833?s=20

Man Utd willing to pay £153m for Fati          https://www.goal.com/en/news/live/transfer-news-and-rumours-live/w75pimfhak5p10kw9sll77w34#1c0ig4zciddyc1fubjlz64bqnj

Gabriel undergoes Arsenal medical as Gunners close on £25m signing          https://www.goal.com/en/news/gabriel-undergoes-arsenal-medical-as-gunners-close-on-25m/imjd653fc1x6152zrzk6f9l8a

Suarez & Vidal are past their best, it’d be good for them to find new clubs. I don’t see Man Utd willing to pay that kind of money for Fati, he’s done nothing to justify that kind of fee. Arsenal are busy in the transfer market this summer.

Just asking, does COVID or FFP even exist in Premier League?

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1297896243042095105

Another 100milion players move for Chelsea.

Chelsea & Man City have endless money due to their corrupt owners with oil/state funds. I may be wrong but I think FFP is not being used for one year, something about Corona Virus allowance, I dunno.
3435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 24, 2020, 04:01:16 PM
yes bayern won, but I didn't like the game..it absolutely didn't give me the idea of being a champions league final
in the end it has to be a show, not a team trying to take the cup away at all costs

for me is a boring game
but congrats to bayern for the win

Fans not being allowed to attend totally kills the atmosphere so I’m not surprised it wasn’t the greatest final. Bayern fans won’t care on bit though will they? Smiley

Premier League odds 2020/21

Sportinglife:
10/11 - Man City
15/8 - Liverpool
8/1 - Man Utd
12/1 - Chelsea
50/1 - Arsenal | Tottenham
150/1 - Leeds | Leicester | Wolves

Cbssports:
Manchester City (-110)
Liverpool (+125)
Chelsea (+800)
Manchester United (+1600)
Tottenham (+4000)
Wolves (+5000)
Arsenal (+5000)
Leicester City (+6600)

Still, manchester is not red atm  Cry

Seems about right, Man City are an ageing team though, I think they need more to take the title off Liverpool. David Silva is gone, they still haven’t replaced Kompany with a proper leader. Aguero is getting old as is Fernandinho. De Bruybe is the best player in the league though, will be a battle between the top 2.

So many people have mocked bitcoin over the years & doubted the power of decentralised money. They will learn to regret their attitude if they don’t already. Fiat currencies are crumbling in front of our eyes.

Bitcoin is the future.

Enjoying this, great pace to the game, both teams with chances so far. Ooooh Lewandowski just hit the post, 22 minutes gone 0-0.

Only a couple of hours to go now, it’s the big one Sad
I have hope for Bayern but PSG are so dangerous attacking. This is going to be close, extra time & penalties would not be a surprise.
