Who exactly is this "we" --you mean the royal "we" ?  Grin

Anyway, like I said, you don't know what the word "implication" means.  If you tell someone what they are doing is wrong or incorrect you are, in effect, telling them what to do.

(You fucking tard.)

Oh dear, personal insults. You've now lost your temper. This also has the unfortunate side-effect of you losing control of the argument as well.

I've kept a cool head and now firmly in charge. (No swearing from this side.)

I'll let you stew for a bit now, perhaps give you chance to think of some more backpedaling ideas to dig yourself out of the hole you've dug today.
3422  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 13, 2012, 07:47:24 PM
I made a few cents and found an idiot.  How did I mess up?

You know full well what I'm talking about. This folly:

Quote
Your money, your choice. Can't argue with that.

You can't?  Well you have been so far, th
ere's a lie in there from you somewhere as well.  Think about it.

Huh You've lost me.

Can you highlight the text where I've entered an argument telling someone what to do with their money?

My monitor must be playing, because I fail to locate it.

We are all still waiting for you to highlight some text posted to backup this accusation.
3423  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 13, 2012, 07:27:13 PM
Has pirate, nefario, and others undermined the trust of this community so much that taking a risk is now considered advertisement for a scam?

I'm going to put my head in the block on this one and say "yes."

I might be wrong (hope I'm wrong) but we haven't even scratched the surface how much damage has been done. The big question is "Is it permanent?"
3424  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 13, 2012, 06:59:20 PM
Not going to happen, why would I apologize for my interpretation of your snide comments on this issue?

You would keep quiet about making profit off of something you "know" to be a scam.  Those are your words.  It may not make you a scammer directly, but it does raise some questions.

This listing btw, meets very few criteria listed in the "how to spot a ponzi" thread.

Is that best you can scratch about at the bottom of the barrel and come up with as a distraction from your original folly of an accusation.

Pathetic.  Grin

You messed up. Don't take it out on me.
3425  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 13, 2012, 06:29:15 PM
I guess you are blind to implications *and* actively practice dishonesty.

Link? Evidence? Proof?

You've lost the plot. What you talking about man?

I expect an apology when you sober up.

I'd kept quiet about that. Your now associated with this scam. Not good.

You aren't telling me what to do with my coin in this statement?

No, like it says, I would of kept quiet about it if I had invested and profited. It's not even telling you to keep quiet, it's want I would of done.

Not that I would of given him any coins of course.

Read it again.

Your money, your choice. Can't argue with that.

You trust this guy? Even though he blatantly lied. Twice.
3429  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's nominate Chairman Byron Micon for BTC Peace Prize on: November 13, 2012, 04:33:03 AM
Micon shows me that I could have trolled them even harder.

Which would of benefited whom?
3430  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's nominate Chairman Byron Micon for BTC Peace Prize on: November 12, 2012, 11:40:02 PM
Ahh, the infamous Micon, well he certainly wasn't afraid to speak his mind and under constant bombardment, stick with it. I think he should be recognized for that.

But, there's an issue I'd like to raise...

Yes true, if people had listened to Micon, pirate wouldn't of stolen as many coins.
But, in a twist of irony, if people hadn't listened to Micon, pirate wouldn't of stolen as many coins.

I firmly believe that Micon constantly warning everyone actually encouraged pirate investment, 'To prove Micon wrong.'
I don't in anyway believe Micon planned this, I believe his concerns were quite geniune to warn people away.

This leaves the big unanswerable question: "Did Micons' activities discourage more investors than he unintentionally encouraged?"

As we can never answer this question, I think it's best we leave any prizes at safe distance away.
3431  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 12, 2012, 08:33:59 PM
Without going into enough detail that someone can steal my idea, I basically trade BTC for other currencies hedging my investments, the thing that allows me to guarantee the profits is I have a very good pricing algorithm.

Guaranteed profits? That hasn't existed since the beginning of time.

Financial genius, or good old fashioned two bob scammer?

LOL Cheesy
3432  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 12, 2012, 07:51:27 PM
Lolwut?  Please, explain your "reasoning" would you?

Well 'risk free' investment stated on the very first paragraph, for any amount just don't exist. Every investment has risk, even it's capped at 1btc.

So lying to sucker in investors == scamming.

Not really much else to say. He/she be back under another username soon to try again, no doubt.
3433  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 12, 2012, 06:52:53 PM
Fuck all of you, learn to read and see what I initially said about this "investment" and then make an informed decision/opinion instead of spouting off whatever drivel froths up.

Scam confirmed. Thankyou.
3434  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 12, 2012, 05:28:35 PM
I am happy with my .06 bitcoin massive profits.

I'd kept quiet about that. Your now associated with this scam. Not good.
3435  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Invest your BTC - Guaranteed 5-10% profit in 7 days - 1 BTC max on: November 12, 2012, 03:52:41 PM
I'm new to this forum and would like you to offer a risk free chance to invest in me.

Risk free. LOL  Cheesy

Hashking, care to give an update?

Strange. You would of got a quick response six months ago when the money was rolling in. Odd that.

I got the feeling he's not taking his creditors debt mountain very seriously. It's all a bit of an inconvenience for him.
3437  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to install Bitcoin client on a shared linux webserver?? on: November 10, 2012, 06:49:45 PM
I would install Ubuntu 10.4 LTS with Webmin control panel, myself. You can then just download bitcoind and use that.

If you want WHM/Cpanel, VPS company will charge you more. And I believe you'll have to use CentOS linux (which I'm not personally that keen on.)

I don't generally use Windows, so can't help on that.
3438  Economy / Lending / Re: 10 BTC for 15 BTC in return on: November 10, 2012, 05:36:26 PM
Or did I miss the memo on how things work around here?

Maybe you should read the posts given to you instead of thinking up new ways to insult people.

My "gambling" is and has always gone well.

I don't buy that. If this were true, you will never need a loan. Red scammer flag raised and flying high.

Roger, over and out.
3439  Economy / Lending / Re: 10 BTC for 15 BTC in return on: November 10, 2012, 05:08:34 PM
How come you label everyone a troll when 'awkward' valid questions about your loan request come your way?

You claim your some hot-shot gambler. But also request a small loan for gambling, which suggests your gambling isn't going to well and/or you cannot manage your money properly?

The story doesn't add up. Please explain in your next post this, without insulting comments, avoiding the question or causing a distraction by mumbling about standard deviations.
3440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to install Bitcoin client on a shared linux webserver?? on: November 10, 2012, 05:00:54 PM
Can anyone help with this? I would like to install the Bitcoin (and also the litecoin client) on a shared Linux webhosting server. Anyone know of a good source of info?
Thanks in advance

You need a VPS, also you should never have your bitcoind on the same server as your web hosting, that is ver insecure. You should read about security before installing bitcoind.
So if I get a VPS server with ssh, what do i need to do then?
I do have normal virtual hosting could I put the ssh client there and install the bitcoind there?

A VPS server will allow you SSH access, but most shared hosting firms do not. They want you to use the Cpanel interface.

Can't you install bitcoind on home computer? VPS's are more expensive than shared hosting.
