3421  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are heading $9,000 next week? on: November 25, 2017, 01:58:03 PM
What'd you think people? Bitcoin now has reached new ATH or it can surpass $9,000 and already heading to $10,000 that quick?

Bitcoin amaze us with every pumps it does every single week. It is not that it is made by bitcoin itself but the people who puts their money into these digital currency.

With the popularity of bitcoin and it's volatility, I think it is possible that bitcoin will hit $10 000 even before the year ends. That will make a $800 bitcoin price of January 2017, to a more than $10000 bitcoin price in January of 2018, that is like 2.5 times of the price after a year.  Smiley
3422  Economy / Economics / Re: "Bubbles" Made Bitcoin Stronger on: November 25, 2017, 12:25:27 PM
What really is a humorous picture of those shit talkers. I never thought bitcoin was a bubble and all traders think so.

Before you even put your statement here, don't be so lazy not to read the post of the OP and not only read the title of this thread. The OP saying how bitcoin became stronger from the bubbles that is happening.

Bitcoin may be a bubble, maybe but what we know is that as along as it keeps giving profit to people, people will always invest in these crypto currency and it will always have a possibility of having a greater price in the future.
3423  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ABRA?? on: November 25, 2017, 03:44:59 AM
Ano po mas better na wallet? Abra o coins.ph???

3424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies VS dollar. Battle for the future on: November 25, 2017, 03:01:36 AM
I think with the development of crypto currency is getting very well while time comes, it is a given that crypto currency will be replacing fiats in the near future. But the thing that might keep us from using the crypto currency that will replace fiats is the decentralization.

Governments will not accept to make bitcoin or other crypto currency to be their main currency so it is obvious that they will make their own. And then obviously the feature of cryptos which is the decentralization will slowly fade.
3425  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 24, 2017, 12:04:31 PM
No it won't bitcoin has a value and it's much more value than Gold than anything else. Bitcoin is a digital asset and it terms of security bitcoin is safe so i don't think bitcoin will lose its value

It is not 100 percent that it won't lose it's value, there are a small possibility that bitcoin can lose it's value. I am not saying it will lose it's value but there are always negative possibility into something. We all know that bitcoin is volatile, it will dump and it will pump depends on the it's demand, but we all know the demand of bitcoin is high so the thing that will make the value of bitcoin go down is through it's technical issues.

3426  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Hard Cap and Soft Cap on: November 24, 2017, 10:54:46 AM

Karamihan ng may mga ganito is yung naggogoal na i-advertise yung ICO nila through Signature Campaigns and pay the campaign members by the rule of the cap that they reached. Swerte ng mga miyembro ng campaign kung nareach yung hard cap.
3427  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is like heroin on: November 24, 2017, 09:37:27 AM
You can not snort or shoot up bitcoin so no it is not like herion. Also, you don't pay tax on herion
 Embarrassed

Atleast it is the same as bitcoin, we don't need to pay taxes.

But you don't need to "physically" compare bitcoin to heroin and other drugs that needed to be "snorted" or to be "shooted" up, it is just a figure of speech, bitcoin is like heroin because it is giving us addiction, addiction because of the profit it gives, not only in gambling but in investing it.

3428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: November 23, 2017, 10:10:58 AM
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?

I think you can consider it as a competition and also a way so the developers can be more careful with the bitcoin's development.

3429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Fiat on: November 23, 2017, 09:09:14 AM
The Bitcoin followers keep saying the Bitcoin is a new currency.

If that is the case then by definition it is fiat.

When it is fiat, then we will see inflation and breaking the 21million limit.

I think they are just saying that it is the new currency because it is becoming popular and widely accepted in some countries. Bitcoin is not really a currency but a digital currency in which it is decentralize and volatile.

Bitcoin is used in some payments and others, if you search the meaning of currency it is a currency that is being used in a country as a their main means of payment and not only that, currency also means that it is accepted or being used. Bitcoin is not a main currency of one country but it is accepted as such.
3430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look how fast Bitcoin is moving on: November 23, 2017, 06:27:27 AM
This is the key argument for people promoting Bitcoin: Look how where we were a few months ago and look where we are now. It is only going faster - you should join.

This means that these people have jumped out of an airplane with no parachute.

They are now halfway down and are telling their friends: Look how well this is working, and it is going faster and faster.

When you tell the people they are going to crash-land, they just tell you it is FUD and that in their experience things have been going great since they jumped out of the airplane.

But remember, the speed your taking higher, it doubles when you are going lower, we are not certain how bitcoin will go high, it might dump after an hour it may pump after a minute and bitcoin being unpredictable as an asset is a risk for people, and people nowadays do not want risks, they always want it the easy way.

But it is amazing how the price is quickly changing and it is really making a good price, if this continues I think many more will be buying this coin despite of it's price.
3431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BCH not King? on: November 22, 2017, 10:01:47 AM
Why do you guys think we didn't move to BCH from BTC? Even though the segwitx2 was cancelled, BCH still seems to be Bitcoin 2.0

Many people are thinking that the people behind these might be just there to earn big amount of money. They are thinking that it might be a scheme, I don't blame them because they are just being cautious.

Also, they don't think that BCH will not be as strong as Bitcoin because it is just another alternative coin forked out of the real bitcoin. No matter what is the goal or the feature of that coin, as long as it is not bitcoin, for the people it is just an altcoin. People will always stick to the original, even though it is dumping, like what happened in the past few days, they will keep holding and not move to other altcoin.
3432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Support a cryptocurrency with little money. Worth it anyway? on: November 21, 2017, 10:35:42 PM
I have few project that I really enjoy.
Monero, Ethereum and Raiden Network above all.
I don't have a lot of money so my investment will be not so important for the teams.
I don't really care for profit considering that I have only 100/200$.
So what is better?
Support a single crypto with all I have or separate on every crypto I like?

Some of the crypto currency that you said are making a good prices and I think you really care about profit because why do you need to post this and ask if supporting crypto separately is better? If you really support these coins, you just need to support it, no need to ask other people because you are the one liking it.

But if you really are investing in these coins, yes, "supporting" other crypto currency is better than holding one. A lot of holding to make means a lot of choices to be made in the real future. And, small money or big money, it doesn't matter, as long as it will be having a good price in the future it will be a profit.
3433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Battle between bitcoin and bitcoin cash on: November 21, 2017, 11:10:32 AM
Im not sure what is really going on right now between BCH and BTC. I just checked the value of this two just now in coinmarketcap.com, bitcoin is falling again to 7500$ and BCH once again is pumping from 1k to 1.3k$. Are they switching their bitcoin again to bitcoin cash? Are whales making money for it?

Well the price now are convincing which crypto currency wins. Bitcoin Cash is nowhere to compete with Bitcoin since it is there a lot of years now but it is still at the top with it's overwhelming popularity and value from other crypto currency.

I don't think that people is switching their BTC to BCH but I think there are some investors that are taking the risk of holding this currency that it might have a profitable price in the future. Having different cryptos is good and very profitable.
3434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Think an $8000 Bitcoin Price Is Cool? Wait Until We Hit $12000 in January on: November 21, 2017, 10:08:50 AM
Please no, let altcoins breathe

I guess bitcoin will be having a great price pump while the alternative coins is being drowned with the bitcoin's price pump.

But I think some altcoins especially the most traded ones will also have their price increase following the increase of bitcoin. ETH ad Qtum are having a pump too if you can see in their recent charts.

I wonder if this will last, I just hope this continues.
3435  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Guys anu masasabi niyo dito, grabe! >:( on: November 18, 2017, 09:43:25 AM

3436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits a high of $8,000 on: November 18, 2017, 12:45:58 AM

Not long enough, I mean you can look the price is having a little decrease today.

I think if bitcoin will be having a good pump, it will not be this year but the next one.
3437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin segwit2x on: November 17, 2017, 05:16:51 PM
Hi guys, as I logged in my Coinbase account, transactions has temporarily been disabled since the Segwit2x is expected to occur in the next 6 hours. I am really clueless regarding these terms.
1. What would happen during these times?
2. What would happen to the value of bitcoin?

Thanks in advanced.
Regards,

Segwit2x was cancelled weeks ago and a lot of companies were very supportive regarding this but failed to attain their intention

Segwit2x is canceled but there might be some miners that may continue the fork despite of some that withdraw their support.

You can read other informations to Coinbase's post here https://blog.coinbase.com/bitcoin-segwit2x-update-b69a1c1e5ece
3438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it more profitable to Hold BTC or buying a lower price and selling at higher? on: November 17, 2017, 04:31:53 PM
hello experts,
Is it more profitable to Hold BTCBTC or buying a lower price and selling at higher?
Thanks,

Most of people who own a stores buy something they know that will have a higher demand in the upcoming week or month.

It is like bitcoin, you buy bitcoin at a lower price and then wait for it to have a good price and sell it for you to have a good profit. And then when you sold it, you wait for another dump and do the same thing over and over again.
3439  Economy / Speculation / Re: price Or fee on: November 17, 2017, 04:05:19 PM
Which important for you price increase or fee decrease Huh or other factors

I think I will go with the fee decrease since a lot of bitcoin user is still pissed with the miner's fee.

But then again, price increase will be great too since we are all saving our bitcoin for that so it will be better if these two happens.
3440  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coins.ph Customer Service on: November 17, 2017, 02:18:00 PM
Just to keep this thread alive and to let users be aware of the on-going problems that they're having right now.

I requested a withdrawal last Tuesday for some urgent payment in the household. Guess what, until now that small sum of money hasn't arrived and their customer service stated that they'd get back to me as soon as they can. Welp, 2 days have passed and still no positive answer from them. Are you guys still experiencing the same bullshit that their support team had been spewing these past few weeks? I'm not buying any single bit of those and I just want my money back. Apparently these guys are not even coordinating with the bank (Security Bank) as I have called them and stated that no inquiries were being made on coins.ph end.

So it seems that they haven't improved yet, and the new system they are working on is really awful to say the least.

I've experienced this kind of problem with coins.ph and the thing here is it happened to me when I mostly needed the money, it is really a bad timing.

I've waited like 6 days just to get back my money, they are asking me to take a picture of some of my history of my ATM but in the end they are the one with the fault not confirming and leaving my transaction for almost 5 days.

I was so pissed that time but after some time I cooled down I think that if these happened again, I guess I gonna use another exchanger for my bitcoins.
