Now online poker is more difficult and easier at the same time. On the one hand, it is more difficult to understand the strategy that opponents use, and to discover patterns. On the other hand, it is played with amateurs that is easier to win.

If you mean bluffing, then real poker player will not fall very often on that trick as long as there is strong base on the card statistics which they are analysing and practicing many times. I don't know what kind of strategy you are pertaining but being good on probability and statistics is the only strategy needed to win on poker. Bluffing is just an add-ons and will not gonna work against professional player.
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC down , does the altcoin will keep strong on: May 22, 2021, 12:26:51 PM
As we can see against the general background, all these coins also dump 50%. DOGE and SHIB they will definitely stay, but I don’t know DOGIRA, she looks very bad and has few followers.
What smoke you are hitting. Those garbage meme coins is the one who dump hard this dip. I'm sure they will lose momentum now in the market because Elon starts this whole market crash in the first place. Avoid that kind of shitcoins without a serious goal in the long run. Check carefully there objectives and website description. You will notice that they are just hyping holders by introducing new tokens. LOL
3463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wagered $10Mil on Stake March Bonus Issues on: May 22, 2021, 08:24:33 AM
Stay away from this site! As soon as you start winning, the problems begin!
Don't be too quick to make conclusions. For the records, OP isn't complaining about winnings or anything but missing monthly bonuses given that he wagered a hefty sum and didn't get his rewards as he should. I'm sure there's a logical reason why it happened and totally not because stake doesn't pay out winnings, they do. They resolved all accusations in the past.

OP, I'd suggest you keep trying to reach out to stake team, at the very least you should get an explanation so you'd know what went wrong and how you can fix it. Don't be deterred (yet).

He is also complaining about the vip host not answering/doing his job and his ID verification takes over 1 month.
He reached out to the stake team and as stated they do nothing but tell him to wait for the host.

Not answering and leaving the customer in the dark is what stake likes to do from time to time, speaking from own experience.

Huge money is involved here so I understand if Stake will take time to process this but its very unprofessional if they leave there player in the dark after all big money he wager on the casino. I don't know the full story and I want to here the side of Stake management before I comment on this issue but I will be watching this for further development. I hope Stake @Micro will address the issue immediately.
3464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Decide: Are You an Investor or a Gambler? on: May 22, 2021, 03:13:46 AM
That's right, right now, when the price of bitcoin is in such a big decline. If it were me, I'd buy it!
I'm investor, but actually maybe a gambler.  Grin Because bought bitcoin not with analysis but with something like this, event or news or any condition and don't know what will happen or maybe just guess without any analysis. I think it can be considered gambling to me.

This is not gambling because you have basis before you buy Bitcoin. Gambling is buying random coin without giving a shit on both fundamental and Technical analysis. Events and News are both a fundamental analysis which you are not aware though. All good if you are buying Bitcoin for now. Only future trading is the gambling when you are buying Bitcoin.

i'd like to see it as gambling since i gamble my investment while not exactly knowing where the market goes in the next few months which i plan to cash out. if things turn out to be different i'd get out before losing it all. what goes on in crypto market today is very uncertain but i'd gamble in holding it a bit longer.

This is a very debatable topic and I respect your opinion. But imagine this, You are establishing a business and you are investing money on it without any guarantee that your business will have profit or not, Is that a gamble or not? The answer on this topic is a case to case basis though.  Cheesy

Wait for 20K-25K in the next 15 day's.
If Bitcoin price revisit that price area, I'm sure that it will not stay long on that level because it's on critical level. It will go deeper than that and we will see the long bloodbath on crypto. But I'm sure going that level will be difficult since manipulation is strong while Institutional investors accumulate above that price. Its either it will go more deeper or reach new ATH.
3467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $9 Billion worth trades got liquidated in last 24 hours. on: May 20, 2021, 04:16:13 AM
The pain has been experienced by many involved in the space.

It just seems like RUG PULL from institutions and market manipulator groups. There is no way this type of dump is natural. The dips and peaks look too manipulative.

Let me share with you a very interesting outlook ... (for the full explanation on this, watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lhf_2gJJS1I&ab_channel=uncomplication)

Thoughts?

Pretty solid explanation and this is what I really expecting to happened. It just happened earlier than what I expect. It seems that institutional investors are having a joint activity to manipulate the market by spreading FUD when the price is high and announcing they acquire additional holdings when the price is down after the FUD. The price already reach the point where the wall at 60k cannot be destroyed due to low fresh money coming in to boost the price higher.
3468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: May 16, 2021, 11:12:09 AM
Online gambling became a trend because since last there were a lot of us have been locked down in our homes. But look at that chart, when it has flattened it's because the restrictions have gone lower and everyone is starting to go back to their old lives at least for those countries that have beaten or almost beaten covid 19.

Yes. Most of the casino has been shut down physically that's why they are force to do there business online to still generate profit to run there business. Just like many sports adapting to COVID-19 guidelines. People who do gamble regularly become itchy for not playing gambling for a long time that's why many people seek for an alternative that's why online gambling become a trend nowadays.
3469  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Fake alert during p2p trade on: May 16, 2021, 09:35:47 AM
How come that the trader received fake alert from his bank did not check his account online personally, There's no way that a transaction will be reverse if the money really went thru on his account. Its already 2021 and everybody can check there bank balance online so how the heck he fall for the fake alert scam modus?
3470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 16, 2021, 07:47:44 AM

2-  Do you feel safe giving out your KYC to online crypto-casinos?

I'm not a whale and I'm not playing daily, I also don't like KYC even on airdrops or bounty campaigns I don't do KYC but if you happen to win a big amount I don't think you have a choice to say no, or you will lose your opportunity to cash out your earnings, it's either you do it or do not play big money and avoid winning big.

This is the common problem of gamblers especially for those who are cautious on giving out there identity due to there personal reason. Casino are hostaging the jackpot money and ask for a KYC but most of this scenario was never become successful because casino don't want to give money to players and they are just using KYC as an excuse for not giving it.
3471  Other / Meta / Re: Forum going slow? on: May 15, 2021, 11:09:44 AM

I am using the forum now and it is working perfectly fine. But since you have written this post 4 hours ago, there might be an issue with the site.
However i did see the "Checking your browser before accessing" at the start, don't know why. I hope there was no DDOS attack.

That happens when CloudFlare scans the clients (you and me) before allowing us to access the forum as an anti-bot measure.

So when does cloudflare scan the client ? Is there any specific interval or it should scan once you access the site everyday ?
I rarely get this message on my browser, perhaps once a month or so.

I usually experience this cloudfare scan whenever I login my bitcointalk account on my desktop with VPN. I believe they scan when there is an irregular IP login to your account. The problem always after a few minutes when I refresh my browser.
3472  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cebu City government eyeing crypto payments on: May 10, 2021, 06:56:19 PM

Kailangan nila mag adapt or else mapagiiwanan sila. Mas mainam sana kung magdedevelop tayo ng sarili nating blockchain na dedicated para sa ganitong payment para makatipid ang mga user sa transaction fee at well recorded ang lahat ng mga official transaction sa government.
3473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 10, 2021, 06:16:16 PM
A good advice especially on this day wherein alot of ppl seeking opportunity to make an income while at home because of the pandemic. and you know what i believe that mostly preferred online gambling as its so easy to make money. Indeed here in our country a lot of ppl become addicted to online cock fighting and the outcome seems not good at all,  just imagine because of addiction some players of that online gambling lost a lot of money wherein even properties, they sacrifice everything for it.., seems they need some advice like this.

Are you from Philippines? Online cock fight become popular after Online Sabong get a license to operate to Pagcor last year. I have many friends that earns a lot of money per day by being an agent. They have commission on every bet of the user under them. So they are the real winner on this game no matter what will be the fate of there players.
3474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Staking or not to stake, kraken? on: May 10, 2021, 06:09:24 PM
Yeah i was planning on moving all my coins to the ledger usb once it arrives.  So maybe a safer bet.

The only thing is, if your doing short term gains on a crypto and need to sell in a hurry thats an issue i would think (if you set automatic sell points)?  I guess for those crypto's they shouldnt get moved to a ledger?

Crypto.com has some staking ability as well from what i saw.

I guess maybe one safer stake that shouldnt matter if lower dollar, left online etc, would be tether, i forget which place had it at 10%.

Try staking BUSD on Binance if you want to stake stablecoin with high APY. I believe you can have 6 to 7% depending on the duration you will choose. Don't ever use crypto.com for staking. They APY for staking coin is much lower compared to Binance. You should choose Binance or Kucoin.
3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Coin Season is all year now? on: May 10, 2021, 04:12:33 PM
Altcoin season means the majority of the coin in the crypto market are gaining price consistently. It means that any altcoins can pump the price any moment as long as it is listed on a good exchange with a good volume.
3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: May 10, 2021, 02:58:29 PM
Old coins have some good points like community, marketcap, and amount of exchange that already listed.
Also i put my trust on EOS at the moment, many people things its a dead chain but i think the project was a quite good.

Most of the old coins that still alive like you mention EOS has already a working product that generates profit for the project itself that's why it's good to invest with them because they are already successful project compared to new project that is just a paper and idea without an actual working product. Old dead coins was already not active anymore so the market was consist of Successful old coins and bunch of new coins.
3477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: May 10, 2021, 01:44:19 PM
Just like you already know that DOGE COIN doesn't have uniqueness that makes it different from the other shit  coins like SHIB that you mentioned. And the reason for them soaring in price at the moment is because Musk is aggressively tweeting about that. His personality is what people support not the DOGE. And one certain thing is that once Musk stops promoting it, it dies and gets back to where it originally belongs because of its no utilities.

Not only twitting but he personally holding huge amount of it before he shills it. Most probably he is still accumulating every he tweet about DOGE. Elon is a very clever investor as we can see on his 2 ambitious company. Everything that happening on Doge right now is planned by Elon and I'm that this price action is for long run. Maybe the devs will finally announce about the supply limit when Elon already finished accumulating.
3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: May 10, 2021, 12:06:28 PM
Sooner or later it will happen, we are in a bull market situation so all the coins will increase alternately / simultaneously and also BNB is one of the favorite coins and has a good track in the long run. So according to my prediction this year the bnb will reach 1000 $.

It will even surpass that 1000$ goal when more token burn come. Lots of traders are using now Binance which the transaction fee profit is increasing exponentially. BNB token burn depends on the profit of the exchange and this token burns gives a huge impact on the token price so the price growth in the future is limitless until the supply will almost depleted.
3479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: May 10, 2021, 11:54:26 AM
Who is with me betting to OG against Team Liquid and Nigma for 2-0 result? I believe the odds will be a pretty juicy considering OG is still underrated in terms of there current statistics and Team Liquid/Nigma has a better standings against them. I believe they sweep Team Liquid on there upcoming match since they sweep Team Secret which is the top team during last major qualifier on CIS.
I can't go for the 2-0 result. I think if OG meets Nigma or Team Liquid, it will be a close series. I know that OG must be really good to beat Secret 2-0 but it was also a close series and also we all know that Team Secret have a really bad performance after the last Singapore Major.

And also if we see the OG history matches, they were likely to drop 1 map whether they're lost or not. But after all, these matches will be great to watch so we will see. There is always a chance for 2-0 tho.

The problem on the previous match of OG was there hero line up pick same as Team Secret. But with a right combination just like what they did on Secret. They can beat any team on CIS no matter how close the fight is. Ana is already starting to adapt on the new meta unlike there match on Alliance. I know 2-0 bet is crazy but this is really possible base on the performance that I saw.
