4181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 10, 2019, 01:09:59 PM
This is not true that only 30 to 35 altcoins will survive and others will dying; you can say almost 100 plus altcoins will remain in CMC, and other will be not useable to its usage in real life. The altcoins that will support an ecosystem that will continue alive, as you can see various projects that are helping in the ecosystem like XRP, XLM and Wechain.
There are alts that really helpful but we can't deny that some alts are redundant in terms of uses. Only one or two among this who served a same role in altcoins ecosystem will eventually retain and will get the spot of most used. Even there are many altcoins I also believe that they will still be popular in the future as investor became smarter only those project who focus on giving better income and services will be able to make it.
4182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where/how do you make TA? on: December 09, 2019, 02:00:34 PM
My strategy is quite easy actually it is very easy. I just wait for the price to come down to low levels, i'll buy and once the price breaks to the resistance and gain/established a support in that ATH i'll sell. My fund is not much but its better than nothing. Right now, i've made few errors and bought at the wrong time so i might just wait it up, although the price may come down that's the bad news.
While sometimes I don't do analysis, It's still good to check whether that dump or pump is a trap. I somehow use tradingview but it will still depend on my instinct whether to use it or not. It's good to have basis just check how legit it can be.
4183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty problem and solution on: December 09, 2019, 10:54:41 AM
I want to join a premium bonus program, but it looks like it's only for high ranking members. So can I work for a bounty hunter, can someone help me?
While it's not advisable to join in bounties nowadays especially for newbies since you can only join on limited projects or projects that have social media campaign, but sometimes high quality bounties or legit campaigns only pays for more high ranked. Better work on posting quality post to gain merit.
4184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of Altcoin on: December 08, 2019, 11:38:18 AM
you are a bounty hunter I guess you have a hard time knowing about the world of crypto, a little advice from me you buy bnb, eth, xlm, link I don't know which is really good because every year there is always a change of places with better projects, so things can change you only have to pay attention to coins that can survive when the market goes down.
Coins enumerated above seems to habe a lot of future especially link as it's partnered with many known companies. Xlm been doing ways for have coins not to be left out and BNB as the exchanges keep doing advance progress in their promotion and adoption in many countries. Since only those altcoins that was able to update, do some risky moves in bear market have the higher chance to survive till the future.
4185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 07, 2019, 02:56:55 PM
If you don't need that bike anymore, your decision is right.
There is a time that we need to sacrifice something for the right thing. And what you did is actually the best thing you can do. Keeping your bike for a long time without a used is seems to be helpless but rather sell it for Bitcoin is a more practical thing but with benefits.

Actually looking at things display in my cabinet now and realizing they will not have value soon makes me wanna sell them too. If we don't use or need them now then better sell and make it as investment that we know and hope will increase in time. Better have investments than putting in a garage to get rust with no value. But if OP uses it as primary means of his transportation or for exercises then it might not a good decision. All depends on it's usefulness in our living.
4186  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 07, 2019, 02:28:25 PM
If the time comes that I will be able to use crypto anywhere like buying goods on the street, riding on public vehicles paying crypto like how we can use fiat right now, definitely I will choose cryptocurrency, fiat will be a total obsolete in the near future we need more secure and transparent form of money and I can see it on digital coins because of its blockchain technology that never lies , there are so many advantages if we use crypto instead of fiat.
As much as possible I tried to accumulate more bitcoin's than to spend so in the near future when adoption and expansion happens I will have a lot of BTC stored that will not cost me too much as the price might be too expensive to buy. We all know that soon many will use blockchain. It may not totally in BTC form might be as a government tokenized type but soon it can be associated in it.
4187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Experience of A Bitcoin User on: December 07, 2019, 08:41:54 AM
Those who have online accounts not just for crypto or bitcoin should always be aware of their accounts, emails, websites they visited. They must be able to learn how to secure themselves since it's a online space and many is just waiting for some users to be a victim. Don't be phished ,use 2FA and don't visit download links that came from random users.
4188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FEAR OF DUMPING on: December 05, 2019, 12:13:32 PM
The fear of dumping often makes the project team fear or avoid the payment of hunters until sometimes after the exchange listing. I wonder why the team make themselves restless on an easy thing like that when they can easily conduct their bounty with bitcoin or ethereum for payment. That will safe them of the fear that the bounty hunter will dump after the exchange listing.
yes, besides being easy in payment, there is no reason for dumping after the distribution of tokens to bounty hunters, because those accepted by bounty hunters are etherum or bitcoin, not their tokens. That's a very good idea, friend.
Some projects don't have enough budget yet at the start that's why they prefer to use their own token. But if they will have enough sources or do advance crowdfunding thru seminars before conducting bounties they might be able to pay their hunters with btc. Bounty hunting should be in bitcoin and eth now to avoid their coins dump as well a guarantee for bounty hunters to be paid.
4189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Truly Random is Random on: December 04, 2019, 03:11:49 PM
I am just curious about how the online gambling site generated winners like on dice, it is truly random and not pre-programmed? how can they prove it? Is their programming can be checked and verified online by the public or these gambling sites has license to operate? Do they need to get a license? So many questions came out in mind.

Technically if they are following some regulations on how the gambling site should work, it should be random and strictly no other codes attached to manipulate the outcomes. But since there are no such restrictions in the gambling platforms, I think there is still a bit of a hole where the luck favors the house  most of the time. But still, it could be considered profitable if you are lucky enough.
I don't do random bets as I also believe that it focus more on the owner privileges, but there are cases that we can really win thru random as it seems to be like a cycle with no definite number of when will it take place, random bets were good for just one time bet for testing luck, it's not for a entire game since we need to decide what we need to do or bet based on the movements of the game.
4190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After years in this space...I am now a BTC/ETH maximalist (Both are important) on: December 04, 2019, 12:52:03 PM
I kinda agree with what the op is saying, for most of us before 2017 altcoins were just another shity copy of bitcoin, but after the hype we really kind grown fond of altcoins and especially ethereum, which for me after making researches about it found that it relay has a potential to grow and develop, sure it has problems but it excels at what is good at and that really shows from how all the other coins tried to imitate it and recreate the system that ethereum brought.
Since we need to find other resorts that might give us earning despite of the current status of the market. As altcoins were not that as expensive now,I prefer to earn thru trading with altcoins, hold my BTC and maximize having ETH and XRP at these days while trying to earn also from them. We can earn thru alt like how BTC gives before as long as we understand the charts.
4191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have there been any money laundering schemes that used cryptocurrency? on: December 03, 2019, 02:35:17 PM
Yes given the anonymity of crypto I am sure that it is being used to do it.
I don't even think that KYC's from trading could do anything from it,
People could easily bypass it they could submit fake ID's and document or send it little by little to the people that they know.
Politician can use any personnel with them to do KYC and just pay them. They might put some of their money in crypto to avoid putting it to the SALN. I guess those who planned not to be loyal in government already put some of their assets in crypto. Some businesses may also use this for their illegal transactions.

Bad people will always find ways to take a good product like blockchain and crypto to be in their favor.
4192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 03, 2019, 01:08:52 PM
Did you try mining these days and calculate whether you're still earning. If you see it no longer profitable due to electric bill and other expenses it consumes better sell it and use that amount to trade. Try to do day trading or buy alts that   have updates that can still be profitable since market really isn't good now in any activities so we need to learn more skill to be profitable.

4194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other uses does Blockchain have aside from Cryptocurrency? on: December 03, 2019, 11:34:49 AM
Blockchain can be used without cryptocurrency, that's why China got interest on it due to it's system that able to do management in a smooth and clean transactions. As well the transparency it can give in datas. If it will be used by government it will leesen the doubt in their government and can help to allocate their funds in a rightful manner.
4195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] How to change desired image as Bitcointalk avatar size using app. on: December 03, 2019, 10:41:27 AM
This is helpful for some high ranked accounts who still don't know how to resize via mobile. Before I only resize yung desktop paint. And with this I don't need to open laptop to resize avatar when joining bounties.

Just close your data or Internet when using. Sometimes ads appears.
4196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why am i Still into Crypto ? on: December 02, 2019, 03:18:22 PM
4 posts have been written in the last 1 year and they are all for advertising the same project. How much attention can you attract with this tactic? Think about marketing instead or launch bounty.
Beside OP don't even replied any other post he created about this topic. I don't even bother researching what the project is all about as it seems to have no Ann thread even here in forum. They need to determine their product and promote their project in a much better way than posting without any other reference.

4198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: December 02, 2019, 02:15:14 PM
My friend has a business stall in a popular commercial building in my community. I influence him to use bitcoin and now he is accepting it as a mode of payment. His customers are amazing and have good feedback to his business because there are only few merchants who are accepting bitcoins.
I also refer accepting BTC in my friends business especially if it's selling items since they have their own store. I sometimes also ask some store that accepts PayPal or Gcash in my area if they also consider accepting BTC apparently all that I ask is not yet interested, definitely in my plan business I will display that we accept crypto payments
4199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friends of Satoshi on: December 01, 2019, 02:49:32 PM
I think we'll just wait if he wants to be known. I believe his friends might as well hide him if that's what he wants. I think let's just respect his privacy. Anyway, as long as we can do business and earn bitcoin and other crypto now that's all that matters. Many may claim that they are friends but we cannot confirm if its legit.

I think that is the important thing to do here, Let's just focus on with earning and gaining more Bitcoin than with things that will not make the price of Bitcoin higher, I guess even though there are people that would say they are really close with Satoshi Nakamoto there is no proof regarding this matter, we don't know who's Satoshi is then the friends identity would surely be anonymous as well,

So there is no point in searching for them if they are not the legit friends of Satoshi If the owner would be so hard to have a known Identity why would we bother to locate his friends that there is no proof that they also knew Satoshi really is.
In today's world that fake news invented, edited details and self proclaim friends of friends it's better to not talk about like who's the real Satoshi is. As they need their privacy they needed. Let's just focus on researching projects that will influence us to grow our portfolio or to improve our skills in trading than being a stalker of Satoshi or friends details.
4200  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: December 01, 2019, 02:23:18 PM
As the prices of the cryptocurrencies rises and as the market becomes more mature, it is indeed a good indication for the developing countries to try digital assets like cryptocurrencies where they can invest the small proportion of their money into it and also establish blockchain based systems in their country to improve the quality of their service and security.
Many sees the potential it can give as easy transaction payment as well as form of investment. Government can create their own token for their advancement. As long as they will implement it in a proper way it will surely adopted by their people. Blockchain transparency and security can really help to run their government free from corruption.
