3461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: June 23, 2022, 03:01:06 PM
What do you think if these countries or cities that totally depends on their casino for their revenue to keep the economy floating launch their own online casinos

It's fine as long as the revenue really helps their country to keep flowing and they use it to help their people that suffer in pandemic, the only problem is there are some countries that doesn't care for their citizen. The one who benefits from their regulated casinos are the corrupt officials running the government.

There is a lottery here in our country that is owned by the government. Some of its revenue helps the people that needs financial assistance for their medical concerns.
3462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: June 23, 2022, 11:17:01 AM
"Real traders don't care about bear or bull market, during times like this is when real traders survive", he also highlighted that a good day trading strategy can still make you profit this season.

-Do you consider this trader correct?

That trader must have a lot of money and not afraid to lose because he did not stop trading during this bear season. I can't say it is correct and also wrong but what's stopping other traders from trading during this season is the market uncertainty. They just want to protect their capital because they can't afford to lose more.

-Is anyone here still trading actively? if yes, what has your strategy been?

I've stopped trading for now and converted all my crypto to stablecoins. Many people says we have not hit the bottom yet and market sentiment is still bearish.
3463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange has less hassles in terms of multiple verifications? on: June 23, 2022, 07:52:16 AM
Binance and Kucoin are the only exchange I can recommend where there KYC verification is less hassle. They only require ID, selfie, and some information that will match the ID you will provide. Unlike others who require that you write what they ask on a piece of paper with the current date and the name of their exchange. If the images you send is not clear to them, you will have to repeat that all over again which is very hassle for me. I'm verified in binance since 2019 and so far I haven't encountered any issues with my account. I only did their KYC verification once,
3464  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: June 23, 2022, 06:28:57 AM
Ikaw anong kwento mo?

3465  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Incoming BSP Governor's take on cryptocurrencies on: June 23, 2022, 05:22:55 AM
Yes, this is still ok at least magagamit natin si Bitcoin without worrying for the government restriction. We still have the freedom to choose here and that’s the best situation for us.

3466  Local / Pilipinas / Re: NEW MARCOS ADMIN, OPEN TO DIGITAL CURRENCY on: June 23, 2022, 04:27:43 AM

3467  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WHALES investors mabuti o masama? on: June 23, 2022, 03:43:06 AM
Any tips sa mga trader, holder and investor?

3468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargons on: June 22, 2022, 11:11:41 AM
In your experience how long or the Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargon like wage, seed, provably fair, martingale, and so on.

This depends how serious is someone in gambling. Like me who doesn't gamble often, I still don't fully understand those terms. I only know about that martingale because I tried that strategy once when I gambled.

I also don't think that casual gamblers know much about those terms, as long as their gambling experience has no issue then they won't bother to know how those terms work completely.
3469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 22, 2022, 08:37:08 AM
Most gamblers usually use their own money in fiat to gamble and if they manage to win some amounts, they convert it immediately so they will have funds to gamble again for the next day. These bitcoin dumps won't be a concern for them as the value will still be the same if they always convert it immediately. If you're a gambler and a trader or investor, then you should have separate funds on those activities.
3470  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back at 20K. Imagine who sold at 17.7K. on: June 22, 2022, 06:18:09 AM
Some countries face economic crisis now along with the pandemic so there is someone to sell their holdings to survive during these hard times. The market sentiment also is not good that affects the people to liquidate their assets. There are miners also that will just sell their bitcoin now because the price keeps falling and their profit is also being decreased. They will need funds to sustain their mining rigs to survive in this bear market if it continues for some months.
3471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: June 22, 2022, 05:18:05 AM
These market cycles are normal and I've known bitcoin since 2016 so I know what to do. You won't be disappointed if you already know how to endure this bear market. Bitcoin can't just go up forever the way people want, someone will take their profit when they bought below so this is to be expected. Its value will continue to rise in the future so if it goes below $15k then that is a great opportunity for someone to buy 1 whole amount of it.
3472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El-salvador bitcoin investment is underwater on: June 22, 2022, 04:27:30 AM
El-salvador is in for long term with their bitcoin investment. Their president trust the technology and its potential in the future. It is just an unrealized loss for now, as long as they hadn't sold anything then they still don't lose their investment and the amount will still be the same.

I don't think most of their funds are in bitcoin, their president will not put his country at risk, he should already know the volatility of it before they invested.
3473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: June 21, 2022, 12:10:22 PM
What is the most expensive thing you've bought with your winnings from a casino or sports bet that you've never used or used only a few times or even maybe regretted buying?

The most expensive thing I've bought from online gambling is a computer game on steam. I've bought it for 60$ which that time is already a huge amount of money as I am at college. During those years, cryptocurrencies are not well known and converting it to cash is difficult. I just exchange that winning to a steam wallet code then bought a game. I don't regret buying that as I enjoy playing it. I still play it sometimes when I miss the nostalgia on that game.
3474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: June 21, 2022, 10:02:04 AM
People that are 50yrs old above won't pay interest that much learning bitcoin, even using digital wallets to ease their life is difficult for them. My parents are at those age and they don't know how to transact online. They are even skeptic when I pay some of our utility bill using my phone only. The technology on their generation is not advance making it difficult for them to adapt. While us who are below 30's where technology has been a necessity to our daily lives and we are more open-minded with these type of innovations.
3475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: June 21, 2022, 08:39:59 AM
~snip

This is a good way to manage your capital. You just don't go all-in when buying during these dips. Some people call it DCA or dollar-cost averaging. Doing that reduces the risk to have a huge loss, you will be able to accumulate more amount if you still have liquidity when price goes lower. Knowing how to DCA prevents you to become emotional investor. You won't be easily affected by the news and people from social media talking about the market sentiment because you already have plan what prices to buy.
3476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend? on: June 21, 2022, 03:28:02 AM
You mean, FTX have a lot of requirements before you can everify to their platform compared into kucoin in terms of submitting KYC?
if that's the case I will stay still into Kucoin even FTX was one of the big exchange platform at the moment.

FTX's KYC requirement is like bittrex verification, you need to write a paper what they ask and holding your ID on the other hand. I've tried doing it once but they did not accepted it so I did not bother to do it again. I just use their platform when I need ETH because the withdrawal fee there is very low.

As for Kucoin, they have many potential coins that is good for long term that is not listed yet on binance and as far as I know there are the second reputable exchange apart from it. Their customer support is also responsive, it only takes an hour for them to reply to your query.
3477  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang Cryptocurrency sa Pilipinas on: June 20, 2022, 02:10:10 PM

3478  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano mahanap ang best cryptocurrency? on: June 20, 2022, 01:07:45 PM

Long Term Investment
3479  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 20, 2022, 12:13:27 PM
Reputable casinos always ask for KYC especially if you win some big amounts on their platform. They ask for your identity to make sure you are not a criminal and in the right age to do gambling. Your information is only at risk when you submit it on a not well-known platform, their promotions and better chance of winning could just be a bait for them to get your identity then sell it on the black market or use it for their bad intentions.
3480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin broke $20K on a weekend? on: June 20, 2022, 10:47:12 AM
I believe this is just a relief rally. People in social media are still bearish and global market doesn't look good also. Maybe it will reach $25k in the next few days to cause fomo and make them think market will be going up again then suddenly market will dump again. I'm still not convinced that we already hit the bottom few days ago, charts in higher timeframe doesn't show any sign of being bullish yet so I think we will still go down in the next coming weeks.
