3489  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Your Electricity Cost per Kwh (Which country is the Most Expensive) on: August 04, 2012, 04:30:03 PM
Wow... Seems complicated..... so the $385 per year is for the grid rental. We (Ontario Canada) have charges for delivery of power.... flat rate montly fee...

$16 for a pint of beer seems very expensive... I guess  it depends where you live....

3495  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I just have to say it was fun while it lasted on: August 04, 2012, 01:45:49 PM
^ that 800watt should run 2 x 7970 and your system without issue.
3496  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What to do with my GPUs when ASIC arrives? on: August 04, 2012, 01:44:38 PM
^ depends how quickly this all happens..... From reading around seems like BFL should have these chips to start assembly in October..... after months of testing they'll start shipping their 30% of advertised speeds units....

I heard all this from the alien that abducted me last night...
3497  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: DFI wont POST with 5770 or 5850 on: August 04, 2012, 01:27:42 PM

slightly off topic: When I was younger I was taking apart a disposable camera with a flash... Well somehow I touched something on this camera and it blew me away, about 6 feet away on to my back.... My hand was covered in blisters.
