Oh yes it's dead. You should move on.  Wink
Besides your bank needs your money more than ever now that some of us are gone for good.
3482  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ILLEGALS TO RECEIVE $1.7 BILLION IN TAXPAYER FUNDS... on: March 06, 2015, 09:30:56 PM
People twenty years from now are going to laugh at the idea of race. In the future everyone will be brown. Black and white will be meaningless as most everyone you meet will be a mix of Asians, Latinos, Caucasians, Africans, etc... The only minority will be whites of European decent.
3483  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Paypal chargeback, for the third time on: March 06, 2015, 08:17:20 PM
Why would PayPal help? Honestly. What part of DON'T USE PAYPAL is misunderstood around here? I'm afraid your money is gone.  Sad
Yep it is gone and this is the last time I am using them as a seller. e-coin.io looks like a promising visa bitcoin debit card and straight to cash is probably the most safe and zero possibility of chargeback. Tired of paypals awful customer service, they did nothing to help me
By the way, I'm not saying it's your fault. Fricking scammers! Sorry to hear about your loss.

Weed. Alcohol is dangerous.  Wink

Cocaine will increase test scores but you must use it while studying and while taking the test. The downside is that it may well go on to destroy your life.
3487  Economy / Services / Re: I need some one to buy me a $3700 laptop on Amazon. Paying 9.50 bitcoins!!! on: March 06, 2015, 08:07:20 PM
P.S. That is way too much for a laptop. An item that will be obsolete in a few years. I just buy a used Thinkpad and install linux. I am writing from such a machine. I think I paid $75 for it a few years ago. I know your a gamer and need power/GPU speed, But why not a desktop?
3488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Activism for Everyone - Merchant Adoption project on: March 06, 2015, 08:02:50 PM
I like your project. I have spent hundreds of dollars on printed material for distribution. I would add that buttons work well also. Far more people wanted the buttons than the infographics. You can't put much on a button but with Google all you need to show is a unique word, like Bitcoin.

Yes it's the Irish that are the problem. Go back to Ireland and stop stealing our jobs!! Just because you came here a hundred years ago is no excuse!!!!  Cheesy
3490  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Noticed a banner promising ridiculous payouts - bitcoinbricks? on: March 06, 2015, 06:35:31 PM
They sure are generous! If they had kept this to themselves they could have turned a single bitcoin into 177,978,515,625 bitcoins in 6 months. Quite impressive since that is more bitcoins than will ever exist.  Roll Eyes
3491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Safer Compared To Other Digital Payment Platforms on: March 06, 2015, 06:23:41 PM
A survey? If survey results said my FaceBook password (god) was safe, would it be?

3493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WANTED: Noob Willing to Learn New Skill/Service to Make Money! on: March 06, 2015, 05:27:54 PM
Here's a thought. This spring put your garage sale items for sale online. Price them cheep to move and only accept BTC. These are items you were done with anyway.
3494  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hillary conducted official State business on her private e-mail account — ALL on: March 06, 2015, 05:22:00 PM
Poor choice Hillary. Kinda like our Governor Scott Walker. He set up his own email service in a government office so employees could work on his campaign at taxpayer expense.
In China Hillary would be under house arrest... her husband would have taken the hit for the family (be executed) and the story over... however in America like Corzine, the gmoers and co, you can run the pampa free as a bird...
It's just one of the reasons she does not have my support. But I would guess dozens of elected officials are busy this morning disconnecting their private email servers so that they can spend tomorrow morning piously bloviating about other peoples servers.
3495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi make any comments about the initial 'imbalance' of Bitcoin wealth? on: March 06, 2015, 04:29:56 PM
He had a lot to say about the imbalance of wealth. He said it with the bitcoin protocol. There is no imbalance of wealth in BTC. The poorest or wealthiest people in the world are free to jump in. Being rich gives you no advantage the way it does with fiat.
3496  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is a Madmax outcome coming before 2020? Thus do we need anonymity? on: March 06, 2015, 04:25:06 PM
One thing I don't understand is that if a "madmax outcome" happens, (a complete breakdown of society) then why would one need anonymity? There would be no records or social infrastructure to support it. What you would need is calories, not anonymity.

3498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Buffett was right? on: March 06, 2015, 03:36:55 PM
He also said it could not be trusted because "this Satoshi guy" could have hidden something in the code to steal your coins. Warren Buffet does not know dick about bitcoin. Why would he?

If "this Satoshi guy" hid some code to steal our coins, he/she/they could have probably done that when bitcoin's price reached $1200.
And of course since it is open source there is no way to hide anything in the code. Clearly the concept of open source was new to him.
3499  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has anyone here ever made money gambling with BTC? on: March 05, 2015, 09:36:46 PM
Casinos make money from gambling. Why? Because they are not gambling.
3500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to bitcoin coummity on: March 05, 2015, 09:35:04 PM
I'm not sure which exchange works best in the UK, but I have a few other bits of advice.

Don't ask for a loan.
Don't "invest" in bitcoin, use bitcoin.
Don't "invest" in anything here! Scams are far more common here than the rare legitimate attempt to try something new.

Bitcoin is just money. It's not here to make us rich or get us out of paying taxes. It's not destined to go to the moon, but it might. It's not going to crash to zero, but this is a social experiment and no one knows the future, so it might.

Lastly, don't listen to people. lol.  you are going to see a lot of confident, ignorant opinions here. You would think the future could be predicted? But it can't. Make up your own mind.

Cheers and welcome fellow peer.
