3481  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bullish or Bearish pattern? need advice on: December 26, 2017, 01:43:56 AM
You're going to get a ton of people saying both things, and in all honesty no one is able to know if we're in either bullish or bearish. I personally am going to come out and be on the bullish side, but the million dollar question is the one you're asking -- so don't be too upset to find nothing of real value on here.

Goodluck on your search, also AVOID TECHNICAL ANALYSIS (ITS A BUNCH OF BS)

3482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ehtereum FOG - where is it? on: December 25, 2017, 11:54:54 PM
My idea on this would be that if you can't find information on it through your own searching, it probably isn't something which is going to net you much money by being involved in. As we know forks are taking over the cryptomarket, and there are a ton of shitty ones that should be avoiding.

Here is some of the information I was able to find about ETH FOG - https://hype.codes/ethereum-fog-eth-fork-implemented
3483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to identify Support and Resistance? on: December 25, 2017, 10:41:58 PM
Technical analysis in Crypto is a waste, with the massive amount of bots and low marketcap (compared to other commodities and stocks) it's just something which isn't going to work at all. Many people swear by it, but it in the long run it just isn't going to work nor help you in the least.

Don't get involved with the dying system of people who'll tell you that they'll do charting for you for money, they're trying to scam you hard. AVOID AVOID AVOID there are many other marketplace factors which can be used to be educated
3484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Kraken and Coinbase rate exchange on: December 25, 2017, 10:15:28 PM
Arb trading is grossly impractical, network congestion is at an all-time high with an insane amount of fees-- so you're never going to get your trancation to the person that you want to as you're going to lose a shit ton of profit and be forced to sit around waiting for confirmations. Plus in your time of waiting, you're going to lose out on a ton of money as the bitcoin price is just jumping all over the place

Volatility is too high as well as congestion. Can't make money in this sort marketplace.
3485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for two weeks, no one confirmation! on: December 25, 2017, 09:38:06 PM
The network is grossly congested right now, you're going to have to use a TX accelerator to get anywhere or you're just going to be sitting the pool with a ton of other people. Worst case you're going to end up waiting some more time but you're at least going to be accelerated by VIABTC -- not too bad.

This is why I personally would rather use ETH if I'm on a time constraint with some transaction. It'll confirm quick, cheap, and it's accepted by a good amount of people.

Goodluck!
3486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charity giant Pineapple Fund announces they will no longer support Bitcoin Core on: December 25, 2017, 07:27:00 PM
I mean I doubt they were getting much money in Bitcoin anyway, this was just a stunt to get in the news. And look, it worked out for them to get here -- any means nessecary to get more visibility and then in turn, more money.

These people must come to notice that the fee problem is MOSTLY because exchanges have ZERO clue how to estimate fees and pay outrageous amounts, lower fee amounts to get confirmed pretty quickly as well. It's not like you've got someone with a gun to your head saying to spend this amount on fees, waiting is also possible.

I really don't get it.
3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs Bittrex on: December 25, 2017, 01:46:09 AM
I prefer binance over bittrex. binance doesn't requires us to submit any ID to trade crypto(yet) and has decent daily withdrawal limit, whereas on bittrex one cannot trade unless one goes through enhanced verification(their basic verification is just for show).

This is also one of the biggest reasons that I wanted to go on Binance, they're not too intrusive and I guess the government which they are in the jurisdiction of (China, I think?) isn't asking for too much KYC, AML stuff so they're not getting our information yet. But this will soon happen, sadly.

And on the subject of Binance having shitcoins, I'd think they have fewer shitcoins compared to bittrex as they're pretty much the breeding ground of the shitcoins.
3488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transfering USD from Web Wallet to Exchange on: December 25, 2017, 01:32:53 AM
In all honesty, if you're going to be transferring crypto from a wallet to an exchange I would try to convert from Bitcoin to Eth (or any coin with a low TX fee first, and something which is fast confirmation) and then having that sent to an exchange. You could use many services for it, some of these could be ShapeShift or Changelly

Both of these are good and reputable services.

Goodluck with trading!
3489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best/cheapest crypto buying with credit/debit card sites for non-US people? on: December 25, 2017, 01:15:06 AM
Cheapest is never going to be an ATM, they're going to rape you with an insane amount of fees. I'd go with one of the online services, be it Coinbase, Gemini, Cex, etc. They're all going to be good options if you're fine with giving up a bit of your identity online to purchase.

Though if you're not, I'd go with purchasing from Local Bitcoins, or Paxful as you could purchase as you please on there with any sort of method you'd like -- be it with or without privacy (with a premium on no privacy)
3490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: tried to sign up for coinbase for buying bitcoin and then closed my account. on: December 25, 2017, 01:07:20 AM
I wouldn't be quick to be angry about them, they've got a massive amount of people joining Coinbase right now and they're not able to sustain the amount of people that they're getting right now -- not surprising in the least. I would guess that your identify verification didn't go through fully and they noticed something weird, making them shutdown your account.

Open up a ticket with them, complaining on here is going to do nothing for you.
3491  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trenzaction accelerators? on: December 25, 2017, 12:58:58 AM
Only reason to do it for free is to get more people on their site for the other services and other things that they offer. Also if the company / website has some ads on their site, it could be profitable for them to get a massive influx of traffic for something that doesn't cost them anything to do anyway -- as they already run a pool.

Viabtc is one of the bigger and most used ones.
3492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Picasso" trading Bot Behind Coinbase Pricing on: December 25, 2017, 12:46:45 AM
Saw this, kinda expected that there is a mass amount of bot usage when it comes to crypto. A wild west of trading online is bound to have these issues arise in it. I really do hope that some of these exchanges come out anti bot -- thought they wont and it's pretty evident why they wont.

As if they do they're going to be losing out on a shitton of fees. It's not worth it for them, business wise, to kill the bots.

I hope it does all end though.
3493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sites where I can buy bitcoin ( most are blocked in my country ) on: December 25, 2017, 12:37:31 AM
Could go ahead and try some companies such as LBC, Paxful - though these two are going to have higher fees then others, as they're peer to peer and not exchanges. Though they will 100 PERCENT work in whatever area you're in, don't worry about any other issues with them.

Though if you are chasing lower fees, you should go with something like Gemini, it's worth a shot. Bitfinex too?
3494  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: I have a question ... on: December 24, 2017, 10:34:30 PM
Transcations fees are going to be high all over the place, it's a bitcoin network thing -- not something which is associated with a wallet in and of itself (unless your wallet does charge some fees ontop, most don't - including xapo)

Your best bet would try to convert some of your coins into eth, or something like that to try to save money on TX fees in the future. But you're going to have to eat some fees right now if you want to send your money somewhere.
3495  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you Know Bitbond? on: December 24, 2017, 09:48:24 PM
Yeah, if you'd like to get involved in crypto lending I wouldn't want to get involved in one of these marketplace ones. It's a waste cause all these companies want is tons and tons of volume, so they don't really care much to vet the users which they let on their platform -- they just let more and more people on to make as much volume money as they can.

Do lending on this forum and handle everything yourself, don't let a third party screw you over!
3496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase overload yesterday and temporary halt... which platform do you use? on: December 24, 2017, 06:47:36 PM
God I actually can't wait to go ahead and leave coinbase, they've had the time and the massive amount of money to go ahead and overhaul everything when it comes to their servers, and their hiring of more customer support to handle the massive influx of people into crypto -- which they knew was going to happen.

I use GDAX at the moment sadly. Can't wait to go on and move over to Gemini or something like that.

I am in NY, so choices are limited sadly enough.
3497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Binance vs Bittrex on: December 24, 2017, 06:29:55 PM
Just started to get into trading alts again, what would someone say is the main differences between the two exchanges of binance and bittrex? I've just gotten involved in both and I must say I really do like Binance more, charting is nice, fees are cheaper, and everything just seems a bit sleeker.

What does everyone on here use for trading and what do you like about it?

3498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Morgan Stanley says the true price of bitcoin might be zero ? on: December 24, 2017, 06:03:09 PM
Cause Morgan Stanley is a bank, one of the prime industries that will fail if Bitcoin is to takeover the marketplace. This is like asking for tips from someone who sells solar panels about your gas heater, they're of course going to lead you in the direction of not going towards Bitcoin -- it's expected.

So don't trust anything that Morgan Stanley would say on this topic. Make your own opinion.
3499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise during the Christmas holidays on: December 24, 2017, 06:28:08 AM
A lot of people are actually saying the exact opposite actually, as they think that during this time people are going to be cashing out as they want to be able to buy gifts for people in their lives -- but no one is to really know what people are going to do. It's not like any real research is being done on people, we're all just sitting here speculating.

I hope it does rise though, I've got a pretty high stake at the moment! HODL
3500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New sex toys will allow you to get an orgasm from fluctuations in the price of c on: December 24, 2017, 05:47:42 AM
What in gods name has this world come to? Now we're making sex toys out of the fluctuations of the price of an internet currency? Gosh, this world is one scary place, I don't know if we're ever going to recover.

But in all seriousness, while I still do think this is one of the WEIRDEST motherfucking things ever it is still pretty creative and original, cool I guess!
