Rumors about Kylian Mbappe's future are really interesting to keep track of and the media really take advantage of that to interest readers. I'm not sure Kylian Mbappe will leave at the end of the season because it looks like Nasser Al-Khelaifi has his own way of convincing Kylian Mbappe to agree to sign a new contract. It seems that luck is very much on Barcelona's side this season in the Champions League. Barcelona occupies the last group which is inhabited by teams that tend to be no better than them, so basically Barcelona will be the favorites to qualify for the round of 16 this season. We are starting the week with a Luton - West Ham game. West Ham are seeming interestingly good this season. They are one of the teams with making the best start in the league now. This is a big improvement for a team that were quite close to the relegation zone in the previous season. They still won the Conference League title of course but you know what I mean. This game is a great opportunity to maintain the current winning streak. Luton are really weak now as we have seen in both of their games so far. While West Ham are in wonderful form by beating teams like Brighton and Chelsea I expect another win here. Their odds are 1.75 by the way which is very tempting.  West Ham has been very impressive in their performances this season and doesn't look like they're gonna stop their fine form anytime soon. So now Lukaku has joined Roma and I thought it would just be a rumour after some problems with other Italian clubs. He will be in Rome on loan and he will return to Chelsea in the summer of next year. It seems that Roma and the fans are very enthusiastic about welcoming him and we will see how Lukaku goes this season in Serie A again.
However, I am quite worried that when Roma play against Inter, he will receive ridicule from Inter fans because they feel he has betrayed his permanent transfer to Inter. I'm just not very contented with Dortmund's not bringing anyone to fill Bellingham's place in the same way. I mean I know they said that they brought Sabitzer as a replacement for Bellingham.
However he isn't an exact kind of replacement I think. Because I would have expected them to bring a player who is also young and promising like Bellingham. We have been accustomed to see this from Dortmund every year. They always bring such player to the team to help his development. Some time later they are selling this player most probably for a really high amount to make a solid profit. This is their main vision and source of income at the same time. Do you think we would see such move in the near future?
The management of Borussia Dortmund has been very awful with decisions in recent years and that I think has huge cost the club the chances to win major honours for the in recent years and that bad thing about it is that they're not even ready to make any significant change to those decisions. How can a big German club like Dortmund sell their best player of last season in the person of Jude Bellingham and are yet to make signing that is good enough to be considered as Bellingham's replacement. I remember that one thought I had when Newcastle was playing so well last season that they had this advantage that nobody expected them to play that well and therefore underestimated them. But these times are now over for them. Nowhere where they will play will they be underestimated. I think that can be a great advantage, like Leicester City once had when it was expected that they will stop winning at some point, but they kept winning their games back then and won the title. So Newcastle needs to accept the fact that there is no underestimation anymore.
Newcastle are totally on a different level in the current ongoing EPL campaign. The Magpies are in the UEFA Champions League and it's entirely a new competition foe them, making sure they gets the best results. Newcastle United did a better job last season by qualifying for UEFA CL. They are probably overrated this new season and they're not meeting up the peak expectation of their opponents. Checking their present form, losing to Manchester City and Liverpool on a row, it's high time Eddie Howe to prepare his squad to face the tough challenge ahead. I would be very surprise to see Newcastle finish this season in top four of the English Premier League table and that's not because they're not good enough or doesn't have the quality players to achieve that but because of the fact that they'll be facing tougher challenges this season than they face last season. They're in one of the toughest groups on the UEFA Champions League group stage this season and surely it'll be a major concern for them because they'll definitely want to have a good season on that competition that they last played in the 2002/03 season. Newcastle United get in a toughest group but it is more than a nightmare for them. They did not expect to be in such group. PSG, Dortmund, Milan and Newcastle United will have to beat each other to get only two tickets to go next.
Newcastle are now in a high guts test group of teams that will face big teams but of you might underestimate it? For me, no. See later Newcastle can bring a more interesting game even Milan can not move when meeting each other. Just an assumption, but now I like Newcastle's game.  Maybe this is what is expected, but who says it will be eliminated soon because they have a great and solid squad now in the hands of Eddie Howe. Prove that Newcastle can move on from this group. Newcastle's performance since Eddie Howe took over the managerial position of the club has significantly improved and despite the very difficult group they've found themselves in, I'm very much optimistic that the club can make it out of the group stages of this season's UEFA Champions League competition. Regardless of the fact that this will be their first appearance in the competition since the 2002/03 season, Newcastle I think have the ability to qualify ahead of Borussia Dortmund and Italian club AC Milan. I am a fan of England teams and I have been having a great affection for Newcastle but I am just surprised to see a deadly fixture for them. Chelsea have invested heavily in the last two seasons and this season Pochettino has been tasked with returning to glory. So in general, Pochettino must be able to work hard to change the Chelsea team's performance for the better this season so that they have the opportunity to get a top four place at the end of the season. There is too much competition in the English Premier League, that is why there are no small teams in the English Premier. Allmost all the teams in English Premier League is ambitious to win the league. They have the money to buy big players and you'll be surprised that the clubs that are occupying the bottom 10 of the league will be competing to buy same player with the top clubs. That is why it is very difficult for any team that loses form to return in the space of one or two years. Chelsea will do well, but we should not expect it to happen very fast. |
