I didn't think that Giroud would once again be able to deliver like that. I have never really been convinced, but he is scoring and that is what counts. Last season in 47 games he had 25 scorer points, which I think is still a reasonable statistic to once against trust him and let him play and he is paying back. But I wondered why it works so well with him although he is relatively slow. But he is good in finding the right spot as a striker and now he has two fast wing players who take care of the dynamic and he is the one to find the gap in the opponents' defense line. It works for AC Milan and I guess they are quite happy so far with their choices.

I am sure that they are already working on a solution for the future because everything else would be naive, but I don't see why they would neglect to do their work in this area.

But Giroud is as you said a player who lives off his instinct and this functions very well to this date. But speed is still an important requirement because there will be a time that he can't get to the place he wants to in time because he lacks the speed. He could still be good to go for a few years, but most likely as a bench player. But now I also understand that AC Milan makes use of the situation and lets it go for as long as it works.

Taking him back on a loan for a penny on the dollar I guess. Well played by Inter Milan.

Indeed actually the amount of fee they paid for his transfer was absurd. Why would you spend this much money on a player who has already played for your team before and didn't make a decent contribution? Just because he was impressive at Inter does that mean he will perform the same when you sign him back?

This is completely due to bad management of the team unfortunately. I can give another example to this like Manchester United's spending nearly 90 million euros on Maguire's transfer.

I'm afraid some rich teams really don't know how to manage their finances well.

I believe Romelu Lukaku would had been an Inter Milan player currently but he decided to betrayal a club that gave him an opportunity to play in the Champions league final, went behind their back to negotiate with another Italian team Juventus which got Inter furious about his actions and they decided to step out of the any deal with Chelsea due to Lukaku's action.
 Afterwards Juventus was in a serious negotiations with Chelsea for Lukaku and there were talks about a swap that would allow Juventus striker Vlahovic move to Chelsea and Lukaku the other way but suddenly Juventus lost Interest in due to fans protests against signing Lukaku and the deal collapsed leaving Lukaku to remain in Chelsea, the Blues where not interested in keeping him this season and later accepted to allow Lukaku move on a loan deal to Roma instead of keeping him on the bench for the whole season.

It doesn't have to be a superstar right now type of player, but you can play him in unimportant cup games, and some league games to rest Giroud, and you would have him for anytime he is booked or injured as well.

This would allow that young kid to grow, that is how most teams do. Look at Real Madrid, they built a team that could play 10 years together unless they sell some of them, and to do that, they had players in those positions, and then also young star potential ones as well. Now those kids are ready and grown and doing amazing work for the team, that's the important part of it.

He is still having 2 years remaining contract with chelsea. Roma was just taking him as loan for one season. Lukaku will be going back to the chelsea again next year even though his patter didn't suit to the england. Lukaku has ever played very well in EPL and he is still having a chance to repeat it again but let him to develop himself under mourinho. This guy lack of ability in one touch. Roma doesn't have good financial to buy him as permanent transfer. The club was only buying cheap players during the transfer window.
