I agree that Newcastle will do a lot better when the season progresses and I think it should be important that we are going to end up with a result that will be a little different. I think it should be important to notice that they are just having early day troubles and when the manager finds a way to get rid of that, they are going to be better.

I also think it is too early to predict the Premier League standings because they just played three matches out of thirty-eight for each team.

Newcastle United is still strong even though their defense was a bit stronger last season compared to this season. I believe they can still have a great season as they did last season because they lost just two matches against Manchester City and Liverpool, which is normal because these two teams are physically stronger than them. Although they tried to secure some points against Liverpool last season, this season Liverpool were also prepared for the season because they don’t want to have a bad season again.

I still do not expect them to be like winners or something, the best possible outcome for them would be repeat of last year, where they finish in top four if they are lucky, but anything inside of top 7 would be more than enough for them and should be considered as a good thing. I agree that it is a tough business but that is what they should be aiming at with the roster they have.

They were lucky last season to be able to secure Champions League qualification, but this season their attention will be divided because of Champions League games, even though I am not sure if they will qualify for the round of 16 because of the teams in their group.
But I think they can do something good this season again, even if they don’t make the top four.

Any striker in the world would definitely love to have KDB in their team, the chances of scoring goals will be higher because KDB is one of the most creative footballers in the world, but i don't agree with you when you say Haaland isn't performing well this season, i mean, he has scored three goals in three games; that's definitely a very good start.

Mind you that it would almost be impossible for Haaland to replicate his form of last season, thus it might be unfair if people continually judge him based on his performance last season, as long as he is scoring goals and helping the team to win, that's all that matters.

They always appear confident even though they know that now they cannot go all out to attack because they lost one of their key players who is still injured. But sometimes things like this can be quite risky, especially if they meet a comparable opponent then Manchester City could be in trouble. Indeed, these two players who are bound to each other cannot be separated and we know that recently Haaland has had quite a difficult time without De Bruyne's pass.

We can’t entirely say that Haaland is underperforming this season as compared to last season already. They’re playing under the management of Pep Guardiola who is a very tactical coach to play with. Haaland could just be a bait for the opponent to take their attention away from other players, while they’re focusing on Haaland, the other players can be scoring the goals. But in all this season, Haaland performance hasn’t been that bad even though I’m to quantify it myself. De Bruyne and Haaland chemistry is undeniable and his return will definitely bring a change and improvement in Haalands performance too.

If the champions league have started it would have been a different case and I would have given Newcastle a benefit by of doubt since they’re playing in the champions league and the premier league simultaneously. Although, Manchester City and Liverpool are not a small team that can easily be won for them but at least I was expecting a draw in one of the matches. They should improve on their performance in order to prepare against the bigger battle ahead of them which is the champions league. They are in a very tough group, only by luck they can move to the next round without been eliminated from the group stage.

I would be very surprise to see Newcastle finish this season in top four of the English Premier League table and that's not because they're not good enough or doesn't have the quality players to achieve that but because of the fact that they'll be facing tougher challenges this season than they face last season.
They're in one of the toughest groups on the UEFA Champions League group stage this season and surely it'll be a major concern for them because they'll definitely want to have a good season on that competition that they last played in the 2002/03 season. There's a lot of work for the manager to do in other to have a good season and also show that he's equal to the task.

Compared to Alvarez, I think Phil Foden is still better as a replacement for the injured De Bruyne.

Given some of the rumors and statements Pep has made about De Bruyne's injury, he'll be out until the end of the year at the very least and it's going to be tough to get through even though they have some good players as replacements but as you say having De Bruyne in the squad is better and Haaland can also be better served because De Bruyne always knows how to open up space and initiate.
Talking about Haaland and selfishness I don't see that because even though his job is to be a target man, sometimes he makes moves without the ball and is not too selfish in terms of goals I think that's a pretty good trait for Haaland.

Bagging a win is what matters at the end of a game. Having a weak and poor performance is almost irrelevant if you strive and succeed in getting the three points at the end of the game. I too think De Bruyne and Haaland are in sync on the field. De Bruyne is instrumental to Haalands goal scoring abilities with his accurate passes and crosses. Having De Bruyne playing would surely increase Haaland chances of scoring goals.
I’m not exactly worried about the overall performance of Man City. They’ve got a good team with a great coach at the helm of affairs.

Last season, when Haaland just came to Man City, no club was aware of him. Because I personally didn't expect Haaland to be a goal scoring machine that season. We shouldn't proceed in that direction, if people are assuming they are weak because Manchester City and Liverpool defeated them, in my opinion. These two teams were on the verge of defeating them even the last season. I believe Newcastle will likely find it challenging to defeat these two teams, particularly Manchester City, even before they play Manchester City and Liverpool. The fact that Manchester is a very strong team as Premier League is concern.

In my opinion, Haaland is still in excellent shape because he has resumed scoring goals for the Premier League season. This game is a great opportunity to maintain the current winning streak. Luton are really weak now as we have seen in both of their games so far. While West Ham are in wonderful form by beating teams like Brighton and Chelsea I expect another win here. Their odds are 1.75 by the way which is very tempting.

Most likely Liverpool target is to reach the top 4 until the end of the season because their failure last season gave great meaning to their decline in performance. The depth of Liverpool squad is capable enough in this season to provide strong power for them to reach the top 4 Place.

Indeed, that is why the goal for Liverpool this season may be more realistic to be at least included in the next Champions League.

Yeah West Ham will continue the winning trend because Luton is a source of points for any team or fast track for players to get their name on the top scorer list   just look at the last 2 matches of Luton every club won by 3 goals or more so West Ham is predicted to win easily. After this match West Ham will face a tough challenge they will fight with 2 strong teams at once like Manchester City  September 16 and Liverpool September 24 well, West Ham's strength will be tested here somehow West Ham got the points lol.

A good start is always better than a struggling one. Like you have already stated Liverpool are still yet to reach their full potential and that's because of the lose of sadio mane to that squad, Mane is a player with share agility and confidence and finding a replacement such raw talent is gonna be hard for them but at least like you said their performance is way better than that of last season .
